Mineo Hotel Taksim

Perfectly comfortable and not too costly but definitely not 4 star. Location is good and rooms are perfectly comfortable and in the one I stayed in everything worked and was mostly clean. My main issue was that the walls are paper thin. I could hear everything in the rooms above, below and around me and other guests woke me up with normal volume chatter as well as opening and closing their doors at unpleasant times in the night every single night I stayed there. If you stay I’d recommend you bring ear plugs.

Mid-level hotel. In the near of Taksim Square. You can find bus stations nearby. A bit difficult to find a supermarket stores, but little street markets are everywhere. Cleanness is okay. PS: Breakfast is horrible. Although, it’s in Turkey, the foods are not delicious. Maybe, they will make it better by time.

Excellent hotel for a quick trip to Istanbul. Easy to reach via the Metro or Havist bus. Although reasonably priced transport can be arranged through the hotel. Room are clean and service exceptional.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are checking out the Taksim square area. The rooms are a bit dated and worn, but the price is reasonable and the staff are amazing. We stayed here for a couple of days before heading to Antalya and then again for a night before leaving for home. Our luggage had been lost by the airline and the hotel volunteered to have our luggage delivered here and held for us until our return. They took very good care of us in this situation. This hotel is also a very short walk from the Hava bus station, although if you had a few bags it would be difficult to get your luggage here from the bus stop as the roads are all cobbled. They do offer to set up airport transport directly to their hotel at a very reasonable rate (60 euro for up to 4 people)
