Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul

This is a gorgeous hotel with an amazing staff! Sitting right next to the Bosphorus, you are constantly experiencing one of the most wonderful aspects of the beautiful city of Istanbul. Their Italian restaurant - Olea - is truly enchanting. From the moment you walk in, there’s something magical about the atmosphere. It’s beautiful, warm, and incredibly special. The staff are absolutely amazing. Elif, the hostess, and Muhammet Demirci, our server, were incredible! We were so well-taken care of, everything was done so thoughtfully throughout our entire experience, and the level of hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Every detail seemed effortless, yet nothing was overlooked. And the food is incredible, as well as the drinks (try the Negroni, it's perfection!) Everything we tried was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and memorable. Between the wonderful food, the exceptional service, and the magical atmosphere, Olea gave us an experience we won’t forget. Truly a special place and one I would highly recommend.

I would especially thank for great butler service; special thank to mr.Berk. since i came back to my home i am still thinking the gift they gave from my future son. That was really the most special gift i ve ever received ❤️. The way they treat is really something rare. All staff are very helpful, rooms are very big even for standards. Only thing is you may consider the night and evening trafic but you may rent boat from hotel.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful, and its location right by the sea is breathtaking. It is elegant, luxurious, and beautifully designed. The atmosphere is simply amazing, and the service is outstanding. I would especially like to thank Bahar from the restaurant. She is incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. Her warmth and genuine care truly made my day, every day. I wish her all the success and happiness—she is a real asset to the hotel

Just spent a great 6 nights at the Mandarin Oriental Istanbul. Grateful that they remembered our wedding anniversary and it’s those sorts of touches that make the stay all the more memorable. Looked forward each day to the breakfast taken on the terrace overlooking the Bosphorous. Such a beautiful setting with food and service to match. Equally good was the dining experience in the Novikov Restaurant. Slightly puzzled at check in when MO charged my credit card with the full cost of the stay and an additional 2000 euros for potential extras. I expected a simple pre-authorisation to secure the funds with the actual cost finalised when checking out. Why the need to bill for extras? My credit card was charged before we or our cases reached the room and at the end of the stay I was due a sizeable refund. Some 2 days later as I am writing this review, I still have not received the credit. Finally let me say that the hotel is beautifully situated on the Bosphorus and for those who come simply to enjoy the hospitality, excellent service and facilities and remain around the hotel as many people did, you will not be disappointed. However when venturing out, the taxi ride to and from the hotel to the main attractions can be quite horrendous due to the volume of traffic. I guess being Istanbul, that is to be expected but it was a delight to come back to the calmness of the hotel after a busy day sightseeing.
