Ok value for money. They claim 4-star, but perception wise it was 3-star. No big issues apart from very low ceilings and missing safe box in room. And no coffee even instant.

Wonderful service and stunning views in the heart of Istanbul, but some comfort aspects need improvement We stayed at the Deluxe Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel for 8 nights on a B&B basis. Our overall impression was very warm, thanks to the excellent location and the care of the staff, although the hotel has its own specific downsides. • Perfect location: The hotel is located in the European part of Istanbul, literally within walking distance of the main historical treasures. We easily walked to Topkapi Palace, the Hurrem Sultan Hamam, and the Hagia Sophia and Sultanahmet (Blue) Mosques, among others. The location is also great for shopping—the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and Laleli shopping district are all nearby. • Service and staff: Beyond praise, the team is incredibly friendly. When we were planning an early departure, the receptionist carefully noted our food preferences for a breakfast box. When our plans changed late the previous evening and we canceled the boxes since we now had time for the restaurant, the staff sincerely asked the next morning if we had managed to eat breakfast. At checkout, another team member helped us with our heavy luggage and ordered a taxi. The cleaning lady was also very attentive to our room servicing requests. • Breakfast: Traditional food for this type of B&B hotel. The main highlight is that breakfast is served on the 6th-floor restaurant terrace, offering a mesmerizing, postcard-perfect view of the Golden Horn and the Blue Mosque. • Restaurant feedback: The water boiler in the restaurant used for making hot water and brewing tea clearly needs to be replaced or at least regularly and thoroughly descaled. Doing so would significantly improve the taste of the hot water and, consequently, the tea itself. • Cons and renovation needs: The hotel is in desperate need of an update. The lighting in the rooms is quite dim, which is not always convenient. However, the main drawback is the almost complete lack of soundproofing. You can clearly hear conversations and even snoring from neighboring rooms, which made it difficult to get a proper rest. If the hotel undergoes a good renovation, it will become flawless. For now, it is an excellent choice for those who prioritize a central location within walking distance of major sights and heartfelt service.

Amazing hotel for its location, the incredible views to the Bosphorus, Haglia Sofia and the Blue Mosque! The breakfast is really tasty and pretty various and the breakfast staff under the rule of Mr.KADIR is not just serving you well, they truly try to be as helpful as possible including making close to professional pictures of us with our phones, “reading” our wishes during breakfast and explaining to us very kindly everything we may ask about! We appreciate your kindness, Mr.Kadir and that of your staff!

I had a wonderful stay at Deluxe Golden Horn Hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, making my stay even more enjoyable. The highlight of the hotel is definitely the rooftop restaurant. Enjoying delicious food with breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, Hagia Sophia, and Sultanahmet was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is truly magical, especially at sunset. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Deluxe Golden Horn Hotel and its rooftop restaurant to anyone visiting Istanbul. I will definitely come back!
