Cevahir Hotel Istanbul Asia

I am having a surgery in September and they decided the summer is over and turned off AC hotel wide DO not GO to THIS SHITTY HOTEL They do not allow food or drinks from outside, so you are forced to be ordering their unflavored food that taste like hospital food with it hospital quality nor nutrition’s. Burned Kofte. Dry Spaghetti that tastes like it was frozen and reheated in a microwave. Noodles with no sauce. Rice as most of their food taste always stale, no flavor, plain, sickly, and dry. It is like you are eating 3d printed plastic. A meal here costs 20 euros basically and the food is max 2/10, it is pretty bad and u basically eat for more than one meal to see what’s edible and what’s going in the trash. All their fruits are mushy and old. Bread is dry. Like if your food is terrible your drinks options are extremely limited why are you forcing guests to sleep in a room with no AC because they know better about what temperature is best for their guests, and pay for overpriced terrible foods or old dusty drinks. I expected a lot from this place but certainly this hotel is the most frustrating and terrible experience we had in Turkey. UPDATE: the hotel management called the room, they read my review and they kept denying everything like if it was a misunderstanding and they send a technician to the room to waste our time and then basically say the same thing “the hotel turned off the AC for the whole building because the summer is over” I have no idea how this hotel is running or functioning, terrible experience. They are finding new ways to make this trip more frustrating and annoying for us.

We had a good stay at Cevahir Hotel. The room was cleaned every day, the towels and bed sheets were changed every day also. We had the breakfast included as we traveled with kids. A large variety buffet for breakfast was offered. The staff amazing. Generally we had a very pleasant time at the hotel. Thank you.

I was going to visit our relatives with my dad, but our flight was canceled, and Pegasus Airlines offered us this hotel for 2 days. So, we had an unexpected vacation in Istanbul. Three meals a day were included and we are very grateful for this kind offer. Incredibly friendly staff - they answered all my questions 😁. Also the service in the restaurant was excellent and they cooked very tasty food. I was surprised by their big portions 😋. They even gave us takeaway breakfast (although it wasn't included) and we are really very thankful. The atmosphere at your hotel and the service made me feel like home🥰 We wish your hotel many great guests ❤️

Generally the hotel was very nice. The location is good and very close to the sea. You can reach restaurants and shopping centers within a few minutes walking distance. There is a big garage for the car parking. The receptionist was very friendly. Only one minus point is the building opposite to my hotel room, when I had a look out of the window. It looks like a garbage dump and smells like this. To sleep with open window is not very satisfying. The garbage lies on every corner on this property.
