Carina Park Suites Nisantasi

We were staying at a much better hotel nearby but unfortunately we had to find something else to wash some clothes after 2 weeks in istanbul. We were informed that this place has laundry. The price per night was 1000TL. When we arrived, the guy told us it was 2000TL per night. We were kind of tired of looking around, so we just booked it for a few nights. The rooms are VERY unclean, and the laundry machine is in the basement and was full of dirty mops... the elderly guy at the checkout was much nicer and helped us with our luggage. This is the only nice thing I can say about this place, unfortunately 😕

We loved the interior designs, nice. Customer service so good too but our sheets were not changed for the nights 😴 we stayed there, which l find unacceptable. You have to request for it to be done. They changed our towels, trash daily though. They also offer a machine for your laundry 🤩 which l enjoyed. Overall we had a nice experience 😌 They have kitchenette so we cooked whatever we wanted to eat 😋 Nice size fridge for leftovers 😋 👌 Thank you Carina Park Suites

Please believe the comments that say the rooms are dirty. They are really very very dirty. The pictures they post are misleading either photoshopped or taken a very long time ago. There was not a single surface in that room that was not covered in some nasty spots. I was traveling with a child and I could not possibly let her be in that environment. I had to urgently find somewhere else to stay. Also it was very loud, you can hear everything that happens on the street plus there were quite a lot cars driving by late at night and of course you can hear every conversation, snore or fart from the rooms around you. It was impossible to sleep. And to add to this story, while I was looking for a new accommodation in the middle of the night I had to sit on a table because that was the only spot where I managed to get the wifi to work.

+ We requested to change rooms as the AC was making a loud noise which they did allow us to change which is a positive. - The rooms look like they need redecorating and don’t look like the pictures. The carpet, sofas have marks on them. No mattress cover. I didn’t feel the apartment was cleaned at a good level, I had to buy bleach and clean everything. Tables had marks on and were dirty. The kitchen fan wasn’t working. It is more of a 2 star hotel however the price is kind of reasonable for what you receive (with kitchenette). We had to ask for utensils, as everything in the kitchen is mismatch and a lot of things are missing to make a simple meal. Would benefit from a dish drying rack as it’s hard to wash and dry plates. There is a smell from the bathroom that affects the apartment. The walls are thin, we could hear our neighbour snoring. The receptionist’s are not friendly or welcoming and asking for anything feels like you are burdening them with how they react. They don’t have any etiquette of how to treat guests, a simple welcome or bye at check out would be nice. Located in a side street quite steep in bits, someone with accessibility issues would struggle. It was a convenient location to us hence why we booked however would not stay again due to all the reasons above.
