Great location, clean rooms (though lacking basics), and amazing food—the chef is highly talented and worth a visit. Most staff, especially Shamsaddin, were wonderful. Avoid the cruise and activities. A staff member, Burhan, did not give us the schedule for a cruise he booked for us. We had to cancel 3 days early because we later learned that the cruise ended at 11:00 PM (impossible with a 1-year-old). Burhan claimed he had given us the schedule prior to the booking which was a lie. He then tried to force us into paying a 150 Euros cancellation fee. Enjoy the hotel and restaurant, but book your own excursions.

We stayed at Carina Gold Hotel for 2 nights and it was perfect. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast was great. The location is excellent, close to everything and very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were so helpful and informative, especially Riduan and Samy who assisted us a lot throughout our stay. They even let us check in early, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing overall experience at this hotel. What really made my stay exceptional was the Front Desk and concierge team, especially Burhan, along with the rest of the staff, who were incredibly welcoming, supportive, and attentive throughout my visit. They went above and beyond by providing helpful local tips, marking places on the map, and guiding us with transportation, which made exploring the city so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also a huge highlight — it’s very convenient, especially for visiting the Grand Bazaar and other key attractions nearby. Breakfast was another standout feature, with a wide variety of fresh options available starting from 7 AM. Everything was well-prepared and very satisfying. Overall, I highly recommend staying here. The combination of excellent service, great location, and amazing breakfast made it a truly memorable experience.

the staff was very friendly and helpful. hotel itself was quite nice and clean, they had delicious breakfast menu. the location of the hotel is also amazing, just a few minutes away from the tram, you can even walk to some subway stations and main trade areas. there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops around. would 100% recommend!! i'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to istanbul!!
