Such a beautiful hotel the interior is amazing it looks 5-star. The staff were also very kind and accommodating especially Zeynep at breakfast, she was very kind and friendly. The hotel is in a very convenient location and the surrounding area is a bit busy but very aesthetic and the views are great.
had a wonderful stay at Aspera Hotel Golden Horn. The hotel is modern, clean, and perfectly located, making it easy to explore Istanbul. The rooms were comfortable, and the view was beautiful. What made the experience truly special was the amazing staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and kindness made me feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!
When we came to Istanbul from Australia for vacation, my fiancé and I stayed here. We stayed in Room 303 on the 3rd floor—a beautiful, spacious room with a stunning view. We’d especially like to thank our dear housekeeper, Ms. NERİMAN, who was extremely meticulous about cleanliness. She is very professional in her work and pays close attention to guests’ comfort at the hotel, doing everything in her power to ensure people leave the hotel happy—we saw and experienced this firsthand. We’d especially like to give her one of these five stars. When we return to Istanbul, this hotel will be our only choice, and if possible, we’d like to request a room on the 3rd floor facing the main street again ☺️
Title: Great location, but terrible service – beware of the bar scam Review: I stayed at the Asper Golden Horn Hotel in central Istanbul with my friends from May 29 to June 1, 2026. The location is fantastic, and the rooms are small but cozy. Unfortunately, the service was a nightmare, and I feel it’s important to warn future guests. On the afternoon of May 30, we ordered three cocktails at the hotel’s ground floor bar (which opens to the street): two sours and one Negroni. The sour had a strange green color, but what really shocked us was the taste – it was unbearably bitter and completely undrinkable. We told the waiter immediately. Instead of offering to replace the drinks, the staff insisted we pay for them, even though we hadn’t touched them beyond the first sip. I gave them my room number so they could contact the manager if needed. Instead, they used it to charge us. No amount of reasoning helped – they simply didn’t care about serving awful drinks. On checkout day, just before we got into a taxi to the airport, the staff threatened to call the police. They showed us video footage from the bar – which didn’t even include me. One employee, Gokhai Kirali at the front desk, refused to solve the problem and told us that we should have resolved it ourselves. When we asked how exactly guests are supposed to solve such issues when the staff won’t help, he had no answer. This experience completely changed our view of Turkey as a hospitable country with professional service. Do not stay here. There are many other equally convenient hotels in the same neighborhood. This level of service doesn’t deserve your money or trust. Verdict: Avoid.
The service was wonderful, and the staff were exceptionally attentive, helpful, and accommodating throughout my stay. The room was very clean, well furnished, and equipped with everything necessary. I especially enjoyed the beautiful city view, while the room itself remained quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, with excellent water pressure and good ventilation, and the temperature was pleasant even in winter. The only minor issue was the TV: I may be mistaken, but I couldn’t connect it to watch my own content. It might just need an update, as modern systems usually allow easy one-click access to services like Netflix or YouTube instead of a limited set of TV channels. Overall, the staff, location, and room amenities are the main reasons I would gladly recommend this hotel.
