Alfa Hotel

Review: This hotel is quite poor and definitely does not deserve more than 2 stars. Here is a detailed breakdown of my stay: * Rooms & Cleanliness: The rooms are very small, and the bathrooms were unclean. * Elevator: The elevator is extremely tiny (1x1 meter) and can barely fit two people without any luggage. * Wi-Fi: The internet connection does not reach the rooms at all and is only available in the hallway. Even in the hallway, the speed is very slow and keeps dropping. When I spoke to the receptionist, they simply told me, "This is the internet we have, and there is no solution right now." * Breakfast: The breakfast quality is poor with bad-tasting food. There are very few options, and the exact same items are repeated every single day. * Accessibility: The reception lobby is located on an upper floor, and there are only stairs leading up from the street with no elevator from the ground level. This makes it completely unsuitable for elderly guests or people with special needs. * Location: The location is close to the tramway, but far from the metro station. * In-room Amenities: Most of the TV channels did not work, with only a few available. Also, the toilet flush was broken and was never fixed during my stay. * Noise Insulation: The noise insulation is very poor; street noise and car traffic are extremely loud at night. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

My stay at Hotel Alfa was very pleasant! The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. The location is excellent — close to public transport and main tourist attractions. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The price is very reasonable for the quality the hotel offers — truly great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and an affordable stay in Istanbul!

Very poor. We were booked there for a week through a travel agent, but upon arriving it was clear this hotel is in a bad state, with dangerous exposed wires, see photo. We requested to cancel the booking right away and reserved another hotel, the desk worker advised us to e mail the absent manager, which we did , as did the travel agent, but the spineless ' manager ' never replies. It has taken a while , but this review is accurate.
