Incredible experience visiting the Amazon and all its wonders for 3 days with our most excellent guide Allen. We couldn’t have done better! Allen’s knowledge of the area made the whole experience that much better. Well worth the money. Kudos to our boat driver Juan and all the crew at the eco lodge for the great meals and wonderful service.

We went on a 3D/2N tour to Pacaya Samiria. We had a wonderful experience which was our highlight in Peru and this tour really played a big part in it. It was easy to arrange with Allen, he picked us up at our hotel and ensure we were dropped off at the airport and came to greet us goodbye. We changed our plans to go to Pacaya Samiria because it seemed like a more authentic experience, which it was. We were staying in a lodge which had good facilities, we could meet other groups and the food was delicious and good portions. The guides were with us throughout the whole day, taking us into the jungle and on the river. Roney and Oscar were super kind, we asked them a lot of questions and had great conversation and insights into the plants, area, and animals. We really wanted to see alligator and turtles so they took us to an extra night excursion to search for them. Pacaya Samiria had a lot of wildlife and different areas to explore. The travel time to get there from Iquitos is about 5 hours, so I would recommend spending at least 3 or 4 nights as we regretted only having 2. I would 100% recommend this tour and visiting Pacaya Samiria, and would love to go again! Thanks so much to Allen.
I had a wonderful time on this tour with Allen. He and his crew take care of everything from the moment you step out of the airport until the moment you step back into the airport (or hotel). I especially appreciated the wildlife tours and native/local village tours. I would like to come back in the future to do the pacay/samaria tour with him. Highly recommend. P.S. we did some fly fishing and I caught some red belly piranhas. They cooked em for us back at the lodge and it was surprisingly tasty!
We had the BEST time on our 3 day, 2 night tour. Piero was the most incredible guide, knew all the best spots, and had answers to all of our questions. The communication with the owner was excellent. They provided PLENTY of delicious food at every meal. Highlights of our trip were catching 11 piranhas and visiting monkey island. We also did several walks through the jungle to observe biodiversity and a couple of canoe trips on the lake behind the lodge. We cannot recommend this experience and this company more! So thankful that we chose them for this once in a lifetime experience. Make sure to bring bugspray :)
We had an incredible time with our guide Allen and the 3-day tour exceeded all expectations. From walking around rainforest to swimming in the Amazon river and interacting with monkeys at the animal refugee center it was amazing from beginning to end. It was the highlight of our experience in Peru and I will definitely be recommending the tour!
We had an amazing jungle tour thanks to Allan. The itinerary was perfect, a lot of activities, but also enough time to relax. Allan knew a lot about the animals and nature and can instantly show you the birds name and information. He is also very respectful to the environment. We saw the pink dolphins, sloths, a lot of beautiful birds and we even fishes some piranha's! Also, all meals were delicious! And we were with a family with kids. They divided us over two groups as the needs and wishes of families with young kids are different from adults, which we found very thoughtful. Overal it was a amazing trip.
That’s really nice experience, they can personalize the itinerary for us and we really enjoy the fishing and swimming experience. The food is nice especially the juice, like the camucamu and strafruit juice. Only the jungle exploration is a little bit similar, we do the walk both daytime and night time, perhaps replace one with the monkey island would be better
This was one in a life time experience. We had one of the best guide. Francisco was fantastic, pacient and learned from him a lot about the Amazon, life in the jungle and many more. The lodge was good, very nice staf. Food was fresh and tasty.
Our 2D/1N Amazon rainforest trip was a fantastic experience, made even better by our guide, Allen. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every part of the trip enjoyable. We explored the rainforest, spotted wildlife, and even tried a bit of piranha fishing, which was a fun addition to the adventure. We also loved all the boat roads and spotting the birds. Everything was well-organized, with free transfers from the airport and we always felt safe and comfortable. A great short trip for anyone wanting a memorable taste of the Amazon!
One of the best tours of my life.. we had 4 days booked with them. Chori our boat captain. Mari our chef and Lezer our guide... Best trio we had for 4 days.. we did more than we thought, they went above and beyond to make sure we see enough of the jungle, find spots to see wildlife. They were flexible with schedule and we went on night as well as day hikes..always ready to go again day and night. This was one of the best experience in my life and made better with this terrific team.
My experience with Wildlife Amazon Tours was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, I wish I could have stayed even longer. A huge part of what made this trip so special was Alan. He is unbelievably knowledgeable about wildlife and the Amazon ecosystem—it felt like every walk, boat ride, or excursion turned into a fascinating learning experience. What really stood out, though, was how much he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible time. He went out of his way again and again to tailor the experience, point out hidden wildlife, and make every moment memorable. The food was another highlight of the trip. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. It added so much comfort after long days of exploring, and there was always something new and satisfying to enjoy. The entire trip was also extremely well planned. From activities to timing, everything flowed smoothly without ever feeling rushed. It struck a perfect balance between adventure, relaxation, and discovery. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience. If you’re considering an Amazon tour, I can’t recommend Wildlife Amazon Tours enough—especially if you get the chance to explore with Alan. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Can’t recommend Allen highly enough. I had done soo much research on this trip and Allen didn’t disappoint. He knew absolutely everything and gave soo much insight into everything we saw… I couldn’t believe whilst on a motorboat he could just spot wildlife from afar. Every time we saw something Allen knew exactly what it was and showed us pictures and background. We also felt soo safe with Allen he knew the jungle. Cannot recommend him highly enough for an Amazon trip
I want to start by saying that exploring the Amazon River was by far one of the most fabulous experiences I've had. The lodge offered a perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Wildlife sightings were amazing, we saw sloths hanging in the trees, baby caymans at night and even pink dolphins. We had the chance to swim in the river along the dolphins and it was magical. Our guide Allen was outstanding; he was always responsive and knew everything about the jungle. He personally took care of every part of our trip, making it effortless and completely enjoyable. Because of him, we were able to enjoy every second of our stay and not worry about other things. Allen made this trip unforgettable.
We spent three days in the jungle with Allen, and the place was absolutely incredible—far beyond anything I had imagined. We explored the Amazon River, where we encountered fascinating local wildlife. We fished for piranhas and even swam with dolphins—truly unforgettable experiences. I also had the chance to participate in an ayahuasca ceremony. Allen arranged for a shaman from a nearby village to lead the ritual. I’ve had psychedelic experiences before, but this was something entirely unique. The presence of the shaman, the atmosphere he created, and the strength of the brew itself made it an unbelievably powerful experience. I highly recommend this trip—not only for those who want to explore the jungle, but also for anyone seeking a deeper, more intense experience.
Got a recommendation from a guy we met in a hostel to go on this Tour. We didn't do to much other research and just booked the three day tour. Best Decicion we ever made! Allen our guide and owner of the companie is an great guy, he loves what he is doing and his English is excellent! The different activities, the Lodge we stayed and the really amazing food we were served, didn't left any wishes open. Also there is a starlink connection in the lodge, so we were able go online when needed. For the first day it was just the two of us and Allen. We basicly had a privat lodge and tour. The second und third day another couple joined us. So no big group and incognito feeling. Very personal and individual premium experience. We saw many different wildlife and enjoined the wild nature. Highly recommend to book this tour. We will remember this trip for ever. Thank you Allen!
My friend and I spent 3 days exploring the Amazon, and we had such an unforgettable experience! All the staff, in particular Alan, were accomodating, knowledgeable and flexible with what suited our itinerary best. We saw pink dolphins, sloths, caimans, geckos, monkeys, frogs, birds and many more. The accomodation clean and comfortable, and the food delicious!!! If I could give more stars, I would. What a great experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible experience in Iquitos! Everything was perfectly organized, from the airport pickup to the farewell. I especially want to highlight Alen for his excellent attention and organization, and Juan for his kindness and professionalism. The food was spectacular, with delicious dishes and authentic flavors of Amazonian cuisine. All the experiences were incredible and you can notice the affection, dedication, and care they put into every detail. What I liked most was the warm and close atmosphere, combined with a very professional service that makes you feel welcome at all times. Without a doubt, a totally recommended experience. I am taking away precious memories of Iquitos and I hope to return in a few years. Thank you very much for everything!
Incredible experience. Everything was very well organized and the team knows the jungle to perfection. Recommended!
It has been an incredible experience. We had the chance to see pink dolphins, fish for piranhas, swim in the Amazon River, etc. The truth is that we also felt very comfortable at the lodge and the staff was always willing to help with everything. Allen, the owner, was also very attentive and very kind. Highly recommended!
The experience was great. We are very grateful to have chosen this tour and to have known the Amazon through him. Alan was very kind and made sure everything was great. We had the opportunity to meet Piero and have him as a guide and nothing could have been better. Thanks to him we saw lizards, sloths, fished for piranhas, etc. We would do it again without hesitation.
It is worth it! Allen, our guide, introduced us to different aspects of the Amazon rainforest, including flora and fauna. His passion for the territory emerges from his explanations. You have to know how to adapt!
We did our tour in the jungle after a 2 week trip through Peru (which fascinated us) but we still believe that the BEST of the whole trip was this experience in which our guide Allen taught us for 3 days the tropical forest of Iquitos, its lagoons, rivers, and immense flora and fauna. He gave us an extraordinary immersion in this ecosystem, taught us many things why he is an enthusiast of his environment and loves to share it, and we saw with him a lot of animals, insects, plants, trees, landscapes. The site is extraordinary in itself, but we believe that the organization, knowledge, safety and quality of the agency and an expert guide, are determinative of the outcome. We have recommended it to all our friends, and we also recommend it here to anyone who reads it.
