I had an excellent experience during my stay at the hotel. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. The food service was outstanding, and both the breakfast and the service at the restaurant and bar were exceptional. The Pisco Sour was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The care and dedication truly stood out, especially from Natividad, who made the experience even more memorable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Great location right in the heart of Iquitos—situated directly across from the main square. Everything is centrally located, making it easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. The area has a great energy, and there’s plenty to explore just steps from the hotel. Overall, a very convenient and enjoyable stay—I’ll definitely be coming back.
Not for me, when you walk in its like a horror movie really dark. The rooms are even darker with the oldest ugliest carpeting I’ve ever seen. Breakfast starts late at 0700 and its nothing to write home about - runny eggs and limited items to choice from. I came here for the pool and gym and it’s been closed the whole time, no-one mentioned that when i did my reservation. Last its overpriced- there are other better options in the city!
Where to begin. There MUST be better options in Iquitos to stay and hopefully you can do your research and pay a little more (or less!) to find a better option. We stayed here one night bc it was part of our river boat package. Never again. The management is obviously doing the bare minimum to keep this place running. They should be ashamed. The entire hotel is "tired" and in need of a massive renovation. The carpets and furniture in the rooms, reception, and bar area are all dirty, stained, and dated. Our room (514) had that old, musty smell. The staff are shabbily dressed. They also allow day passes to the hotel swimming pool. This is always a big red flag as outsiders abuse the facilities and it fills up with kids. And the worst of it, the NOISE, from events. We stayed on a Friday night and they had a dance event on the first floor. It was so bad, the noise pollution. What a stupid way to run a hotel. Selling off your space at the expense of your paying guests. Hotels do this when they are greedy for more money. Day passes for pools and nightly events are all red flags for clients not to stay here. Do not stay here. You (the guest) are obviously not the first priority for this hotel.
We decided to treat ourselves and stay here on our last day in Iquitos after a few days in a jungle tour, and it did not disappoint. This hotel gives you what you are paying for, and even a little bit more. Great service, rooms, and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in a long time. It's substantially more than the other hotels in the area (which we also stayed at and were more than happy with) but if you're looking for an upscale location, this would be it.
