Thanks, Beau, for putting on another cracking line-up of memorable drams, from rare Macallans to your own bottling of Ledaig, to name but a few. You can tell you genuinely take joy in seeing people enjoy great whisky, sometimes sharing drams from your own collection that you’d rather let others experience than keep to yourself.

Had a great time. Our driver Willy is very personable and entertaining. Former constable and had a lot of local knowledge and stories to share. He is even chums with the king! (It’s a funny story). Beau is incredibly knowledgeable about the whiskeys of Scotland and we had a great tasting prepared for us. Would recommend highly.

Great experience. Beau was very knowledgeable and informative. Don’t be concerned that it is in a “liquor store.” It is a specialty liquor store like none you’ve ever seen. It was well worth the cost.

Grand Drams, hosted by Beau, provided a fantastic evening of whisky tasting and education after our corporate day at Cabot Highland. We arrived to a beautiful set up of fine whiskies and were walked through the tasting with a breakdown of production and aging of each spirit with conversation on the complex flavour and aroma. An absolute superb whisky tasting experience at the Grand Drams venue on Old Edinburgh Road. Beau was a cracking host, very knowledgeable and served us up some delicious drams. Beau and staff made sure all our needs were catered for throughout, and the craic was great. A truly memorable experience and one I’ll be keen to book in for again.

Beau is a fantastic host and his laugh warms the soul….as do his whiskies! Aside from being extremely generous and treating you like royalty he has a plethora of knowledge which made the experience a cut above anything else. I will be returning in the future- be sure to make this a priority visit!

We went as group and had an outstanding day, Beau made us all feel so welcome and we loved every minute of it. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough to anyone who is interested.

What can I say other than this is without doubt one of the best whisky tastings I have ever been to. (And I have been to many). Great hospitality and exceptional drams, you will not get better value for money anywhere else in town. We did a blind tasting which made the experience more interesting. Our host Beau is very knowledgeable and interacted well with the group. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I did a tasting at Grand Drams while doing a whisky tour. Our amazing guide, Andy, arranged the tasting and I’m so happy that he did. Upon arrival, Beau greeted us with a big smile and open arms. Beau’s personality is so upbeat and inviting, and let me tell you, the man knows whisky! It was 3 of us and we were at Grand Drams, having a grand time for a little over 2 hours. Our tasting consisted of 4 exquisite drams, ranging from the Highlands to Islay. But those weren’t the only drams we had. Beau proceeded to have us taste an additional 4 drams, while also letting us sample selections that we were interested in purchasing. Grand Drams has an incredible selection of whisky, and even better prices. Beau also shipped our selections to States. We look forward to stopping by Grand Drams again during our next trip to Scotland.

Our tour guide while in Scotland introduced us to Beau and the Grand Drams Whisky Boutique. Our private tasting in the boutique was interesting, informative, and a completely unexpected experience during our trip. Beau inquired about our whisky preferences then made some wonderful selections for our tasting. The whisky we chose to purchase arrived promptly when we returned home and we have enjoyed sharing with friends and family. His Boutique is stocked full of wonderful tastings!
