A lovely stay, the garden rooms are spacious and quiet and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed looking out at the beautiful gardens and the stunning Autumn tree colours. The food was very good, we had a lovely dinner in the conservatory restaurant, although it was a bit chilly sitting in the window alcove. The hotel is in a good position for accessing Inverness and has a large car park. The most disappointing aspect is the leisure centre, a very small pool, the centre desperately needs a renovation, the hot tub was out of action, very disappointing. The changing rooms were dingy and the lockers difficult to use. Would definitely stay again, accepting that the leisure centre is not a highlight of the visit.

The rooms are spacious and clean! Our king size bed was two twins put together and there is a noticeable ridge in the middle. The ability to open a window for fresh air is perfect! A pillow upgrade is needed. They are flat. I asked for non feather ones and they are also flat. The staff at the front desk are amazing especially Pam! Our room attendant Emma is also fabulous! She made our stay comfortable! The wait staff in the different dining rooms were attentive and accommodating! I used the leisure activities and it was relaxing and rejuvenating! I love the tea and coffee in the room! The room was nice to relax to after a busy day. The grounds are beautiful! It is nice to walk around! The landscaping is impeccable. The location allows you a bit of exercise going into town! We liked that! Breakfast has a fabulous selection. Laundry is very expensive. There should be a cap on the bag. £97 is ridiculous! That is almost $200 Canadian a bag!😳 To reference, the hotel in Aberdeen was under £20 for the same amount! All in all, we are enjoying the hotel here.
Make sure to make note to request vegan afternoon tea when booking and also let your server know. My family had the regular afternoon tea and mine did clearly have different items which appeared to be plant based but I had 2 servers check to confirm that everything was dairy and egg free since I couldn’t believe that they offered vegan cheese, butter, and cheezecake. It was all very delicious! Their servers are very friendly and the service is great! We only stayed 1 night in the hotel but wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool. I wish their pool had later hours.
Spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds. All amnesties one would standardly need are provided including coffee, water and tea. Breakfast is buffe style with sufficient selection. Also there is restaurant with bar should you want food or drinks throughout the day. Guests have at their disposal swimmingpool, sauna and Turkish bath, all clean and satisfactory. Staff is welcoming and always willing to help.
Great location, lovely amd professional staff, good food in the restaurant. I enjoyed the garden for a drink pre dinner too. The value for money of my room was good. I had room 9 in the old part of the building where my only complaint would be the water pressure. It was a dribble from the bathroom tap. Please attend to this. Otherwise i would recommend the hotel but to have a more modern room.
