Beatus Caves, Lake Thun Cruise & Thun City Tour

Seeing the caves and the lake tour was wonderful. The only downside of the day was that the tour description of what we were going to see did not match what we did see. The original description included two sites which were omitted. The guide was wonderful, knowledgeable, and very accommodating.

The caves were a highlight! Be prepared to climb!! We enjoyed the walk through Thun. Blue lake was gorgeous. Mike was terrific

Mike was so gracious and gave us great information before and after each attraction. He made sure to give each guest special attention. He made access to each attraction so easy and seamless. We are global travelers but this is one of the best tours we have done. Such a variety of unique things to see all in one day. He was flexible and worked in extra things when we didn't need as much time as others. We would highly recommend booking with Mike.

The experience was very enjoyable and Mike was great to talk to and shared stories about every day life in Switzerland. I definitely would recommend to anyone who wants an easy going sight seeing day

Saw so many gorgeous areas - great conversations and history. Was great to get out of the “city” in a vehicle vs a train which gave us the opportunity to see the area in a different way

Michael our guide was fantastic. He was very informative and told interesting side stories. Beatus caves are spectacular, just know when get to the end you have double back the way you came. Was a little rushed to get back to meeting place.

Mike was an excellent driver, host, and time keeper. It was an easy meeting space by Interlaken OST. We enjoyed all the stops- caves, suspension bridge, city of Thun, Blausee Park and the boat back to Interlaken. The caves were amazing with so much rushing water and the morning time was appreciated because it was not busy! The suspension bridge was not at scary as we thought but seeing it later from the other side made us realize how high it was. Thun was an excellent place for lunch by the river and shopping. The park was small but the lake was beautiful. Our boat ride back over Lake Thun and through the channel was a great way to end the trip,

Mike was a great guide. His knowledge of the area and willingness to share with us was amazing. We were in a small group of 6 and felt spoiled to have Mike as our leader. The St. Beautus Caves were fun to explore, I love hidden nature sites. My husband and I highly recommend this tour.

Well worth doing We had a great guide in Mike and we saw a great deal. The caves were different to all previous caves we had been in over the world. These caves travelled upwards and you walked up into the cave system and not down into it.

We had a fantastic tour with Michael! Since it was just the two of us, he went out of his way to make extra photo stops, which made the day even more special. He shared lots of helpful and interesting information at every stop and even gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip. A truly memorable experience, we highly recommend this tour with Michael!

Literally the best tour I’ve been on over the past 3 weeks of vacationing! Mike was AMAZING! Funny, extremely informative , gave us all kinds of interesting information, and was all around a joy to spend the day with! I highly recommend this tour with Mike as your guide!

Interlaken is an absolutely stunning place to explore, and the sites included on this excursion were definitely worthwhile. However, the experience didn’t quite live up to our expectations. We felt rushed at each stop, with little time to truly take in or enjoy the locations. Rather than a guided tour, it felt more like we had simply hired a driver who arranged access to various attractions (often with marked-up ticket prices), but left us to explore everything on our own. When I booked, I was hoping for a more informative experience that offered insight into the local culture, history, and context of the area. Unfortunately, we didn’t get that. This tour might work well for those who prefer a more hands-off approach or need help getting around logistically, but if you're looking for something more immersive and educational, this may not be the best fit. Given the cost, I regret not choosing a different option that better aligned with what I was hoping to get out of our time in Interlaken.

This trip was good, you get to see a lot. It is basically just transportation around to the various stops. Mike, was super nice, but he is not doing the activities with you. That was fine for me. The lake was a bit underwhelming, the others stuff I liked.

I was worried that the kids would lose interest during this full day tour...but everything was perfect. Our guide was fantastic and the day was broken up into several stops so the kids stayed engaged throughout. Good variety of places to see and it was nice to get out of the city and see the surrounding countryside. Very memorable experience and Mike was a first rate guide...he even provided his contact info in case we had any issues while traveling even after we left his tour. Great guides can make all the difference.

This tour covered lovely areas outside of Interlaken that we would likely have never encountered on our own in the short time we were there traveling by train as we were doing. Mike was a fantastic tour guide who gave us history with humor. His depth of travel knowledge and advice was impressive. We loved the small group and personalized setting of this tour.

Really enjoyed our day with Mike. He was friendly and very interesting to talk with. He's shared lots of information at every stop and really cared that we were enjoying our tour. Our itinerary was great and we would never have seen it all without a private guide. Well worth the price!

This enjoyable day trip takes you the full way around Lake Thun starting from Interlaken and proceeding to all the sites (caves, suspension bridge, city of Thun for lunch and across lake via boat to Blue Lake and back again). This tour permits ample personal time to explore these sites at your own pace and since travel is most by van to various places, you aren’t sitting and waiting for public transport except for the boat, which was only 10 minutes. I would recommend this day tour without hesitation.

The guide came dot at time and picked us up. There were only 5 people in the tour so that made the whole experience very comfortable. It began at 8:45 am and ended at 5:45pm. We were given enough time to explore Thun by ourselves.

Good pace of journey. A lot of private time, yet setting sufficient guidance at key sightseeing points.

I would do this again in a heartbeat. I know the price can seem a bit steep, but you are basically getting a private tour (there were only four of us in an air-conditioned van) of countless sites, all at the best times as to avoid the crowds. Our guide, Mike was friendly and knowledgeable, and conversation flowed smoothly between locations. He took us to the caves first thing in the morning - which was a truly special experience, as they were pretty much empty. My daughter and I agreed it would have been a different experience if there were a lot of people going through there. The city of Thun and the Blue Lake were just gorgeous, and everything was perfectly timed. I highly recommend.

nice views during the entire day. Beatus caves are pretty cool to see, the thrill began at the suspension bridge later. Loved it. Seems to be a place well known by Koreans, as a love-story-movie has been taken there. Walk around in the tiny city of Thun was great. Complete non-touristic spot. Enjoyed lunch there. The tour went along the other side of the lake to "blue lake", which is a nature park. Nice to see the colour of the water. Good for natural lovers and people seeing water first time surrounded by mountains. Then drive to the lake boat and we had 45 min on the lake boat back to Interlaken. Gave another view to the area, we spend the day. Good combination in the tour, tour guide Mike was fantastic with a good sense of humor.

One of the best itineraries we've had. This type of tour is more about enjoying the amazing views of nature at a slow pace. The stops were all leisurely and spectacular. I can warmly recommend the tour for someone who likes to drive around the lake and see mountains and water from different perspectives.

The caves were beautiful, but the ticket was relatively expensive for what you got. Quite quickly through the caves, then a (expensive) simple lunch eaten in the restaurant right next door. Good to combine with a nice walk near Lake Thun.

The Beatus Caves are absolutely impressive! The hike along the waterfall to the entrance is already an experience. Inside, a magical world of stalactites, underground rivers and well-lit corridors awaits you. The information boards are also excitingly designed. Ideal for families, nature lovers and anyone looking for something special!

Beautiful. Count 1h30 visit plus the climber. 🤣 Several caves to see. The layout is remarkable. The outdoor site alone is worth a visit.

Too bad it closes at 5pm, but amazing! It is really beautiful and free for dogs... yes our dogs can visit the caves!

Discovery by surprise! This path that climbs the cliff brings you to a beautiful landscape... The ascent along this waterfall offers you a view of Lake Thun more and more beautiful as you go. With a view of the latter as well as the mountain range facing. For those who wish, possibility to have a drink or to eat once they reach the top. For simple walkers like us, the climb did not take long but a view to make full eyes that changes at each level. A castle type playground with are dragon slide as well as the opportunity to picnic and grill are also on site for the pleasure of children and parents.

The path to the caves is more beautiful than the caves themselves. Since it had rained heavily the previous days, a lot of water fell into the abyss. Wonderful view of Lake Thun.

We visited the Beatus Caves for a family trip and found it really interesting and fantastic. Beautiful place, high quality and excitingly developed and the caves are really a natural wonder
