Our stay at The Hey Hotel was very nice, clean, great location, and amazing service from the breakfast staff but specifically Tiffany who was so helpful and pleasant every morning, she referred to us by our sir name (Mr./Mrs. Allen) and she was just a sunshine to us as well as other clients. Tiffany is an excellent asset to the Hey Hotel and management should be proud of having an employee like her. Breakfast was nice, the food and service was excellent, fresh food and alot of variety to choose from. Great location for walking and commuting by train for day trips to other areas. I would have given the 5 star if the AC for my room was working a little better. But overall, I still highly recommend staying at The Hey Hotel..
First off, the location and value for the money is second to none. You are centrally located, the rate includes breakfast, and the rooms are air conditioned. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is pretty good.
The downside, however, is that the bed or rock hard and made sleeping a little difficult. Also, there is no fridge in your room so dont expect to keep anything cool.
Overall I would stay here again.
We had a lovely stay at the Hey. There’s such a disconnect between some of the other reviews and our experience that I wonder if we stayed in different properties.
For the price point it is at the staff was nice and pleasant, the room was minimal but functional and clean, they had working AC during a really hot few days. Shower was hot and water pressure good. Bed very comfy. Location can’t be beat! Right next to Coop, train station, and restaurants and shops!
Also the breakfast was good! An assortment of whole fruits, yogurt, deli meats, a few hot dishes, etc.
The Hey Hotel is the perfect example of minimalist design that works. The rooms are appointed with a series of cubbies which at first give them the appearance of being sparse. Not so. Those cubbies kept us so organized during our 5 day stay. The bed is comfortable and shower was great. The breakfast options were generous and delicious. Fresh bread, cheese, cold cuts, pastries, cereal, yogurt and pancakes were some of the options along with bacon, beans,and potatoes. Fresh made eggs available on request. The real star of the Hey Hotel for us however was the helpful front desk crew. So friendly and always on hand for conversation about where to hike and what to do. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.
I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Interlaken. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The room was very comfortable, clean, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options.
Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish — I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to anyone.
