Hotel Du Nord

We moved to Hoel Du Nord from a nearby hotel over $1000 a nite and I wish we would have started at Hotel Du Nord. Although our room had no air conditioning the service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal as well. It was extremely clean and the staff were very professional. Best part is that they gave us ICE for our water bottles without hesitation unlike the other 5 star that wouldn't even offer water.

A lovely hotel with such nice personal touches! A hand written welcome note acknowledging our anniversary and graduation was such a classy act! Our room happened to be ready early and was spacious, clean and very pretty! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! A special shout out to the bartender Noelle who was beyond sweet and made a killer caipirinha! The hotel was in a perfect location with breathtaking views of the mountains and the wide open park in front of the building. Easy access to the train station as well as a quick walk to Harder Kulm. I recommend this hotel without hesitation!

My experience at Hotel Du nord was almost like being at a Youth hostel. There was the bare minimum service. The furniture was old, the beds weren't comfortable, the pillows were very thin, small rooms and you can hear the street through the windows. Also, there was a very bright blue LED light that i had to cover every night, the LED was one with the switches next to the beds to ensure you don't get a good sleep. I have tried to close it multiple times but no luck. The bathroom was ok but a bit tight. No A/C as advertised but were provided a complimentary fan. Even the vending machine in the hotel only took coins, something since I've arrived in Switzerland i didn't even see. The only benefit of this hotel was being close to the train station, but so were the other hotels for the same price. And to be honest, the housekeeping were always good at cleaning the rooms. This hotel could be something far more great than it is now, but for this current price i feel underwhelmed . Its basically like living in a youth hostel with breakfast provided. Make this hotel your last choice for Interlaken. عزيزي الزائر، اختار اي فندق غير هذا لأنك لن تجد ذرة خدمة من الفندق، و الغرف صغيرة و تسمع ازعاج الشارع عندك. ولا يوجد تكييف يعطونك مروحة كما هو مكتوب لديهم فقط انتبه انتبه قبل تحجز.

We enjoyed our stay :) Laura and Lydia are very attentive and friendly at the breakfast area. Make us feels at home. Breakfast spreads not a huge one but all are yummy. Room is very clean and spotless.The room has splendid view facing the mountain and park, at times can hear the horse carriage passing by. Provide one time bottled water for the stay , free tea and coffee with small cookies to goes with your drink that is replenish daily. Provided guest with transport card during the stay to travel around the vicinity. Hope the hotel will consider to have cooling system in the room so that more people can come and enjoy their stay during hotter times.
