Excellent location — beautiful, peaceful water view while still being very close to the center of Interlaken. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and responsive. Nuno at breakfast was especially kind and helpful, and Jenny at reception was also helpful. The main issue was housekeeping and attention to detail. Glasses inside the cupboards still had lipstick and coffee marks, used dishes and cups were not properly washed, kitchen rubbish was sometimes left until the next day, and cups left on our private terrace were not collected. Bed sheets were not changed daily, and requesting an earlier change comes with an extra charge. One of the bathrooms also had a strong unpleasant smell when we checked in. Complimentary water is only provided on arrival. The ironing service was also unclear: we were told CHF 10 per item, but were additionally charged CHF 1 per minute of ironing time. Overall, excellent location and lovely staff, but housekeeping and cleanliness need significant improvement. September 2026

Air Conditioned rooms were OUTSTANDING! Several 90+ degree & humid days resulted in hot hiking & exploring, even up in higher altitudes. Recharging & resting in the Bellevue was perfect in these conditions. Most other hotels in the area lack A/C, and our trip would’ve been much worse in a hot hotel room. All other aspects of the hotel were great too; location, service, views of the beautiful river, etc. Highly recommended especially in peak summer heat.
I was hesitant to book this place because of the price...but wanted to spend the last 2 days in Switzerland in a great setting. We paid over $600 a night and the room looked like a 2 star hotel furnished by a college student. There were dead flies in the overhead light fixtures. There was sticky candy on the floor that I had to clean up. We stayed in wonderful hotels in Zermatt, Grindelwald and Murren - all around $300-400 and well worth it. I will make sure people are more aware as I was told this place is a reasonable value. It's unfortunate because the location and service were great.
I stayed at Boutique Hotel Bellevue Interlaken from June 1–3, and it was without a doubt my favorite hotel during my entire Switzerland trip. The hotel offers stunning views, and waking up to the beautiful scenery each morning was truly memorable. The room was stylish, spotless, and very comfortable, making it a wonderful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I especially loved the coffee, which was one of the best I had during my stay in Switzerland. What impressed me most was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. As a thoughtful gesture, they even provided complimentary bottled water when we checked out, which was greatly appreciated before continuing our journey. Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful location and comfortable rooms to the outstanding hospitality, Boutique Hotel Bellevue Interlaken made our stay truly special. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Interlaken.
Could not have had a more pleasant stay. It is very close to the train station, and we had a magnificent view of the small river from our balcony. The employees were incredibly gracious and efficient, they helped us out with several things we asked for at the counter and quickly ran up to our room when we requested extra pillows and an extension cord. All the electronics, locks, and switches were up-to-date and modernized. Very, very pleasant hotel with great air conditioning. Oh, and the best part, the breakfast buffet was delicious. Mark Barnett
