Full Day Small Group Tour In Neuschwanstein From Innsbruck

It was a great experience and our tour guide, Anna was incredible. However, this tour involved a lot of walking and stairs within the castle. Our tour within the castle (which was out of our tour guides control) was way too big. We were packed wall to wall within the castle and found it difficult to see everything described in the audio guide. Regardless, it was a castle I wanted to see for a long time and am glad we went.

This was such a wonderful day trip with Anna. She had a lot of local information as well as anecdotes to share which we enjoyed a lot. We appreciated the experience she has in this area and all she did to make our day personal and enjoyable.

What a lovely tour. History explanations, cultural antecdotes and stories told in a personal way contributed to the excellent experience. We took the tour with English language with no issues in communication. Helpful hints revised to us in advance helped made our castle tour even more enjoyable. An amazing experience, made even better by our Guide. We learned a bit of history about the people and region as well as King Ludwig. Not only did we make it to Neuschwanstein Castle for on-time entry, we had plenty of time for pictures and stopping along the way to Ehrenberg Castle to walk across a suspension bridge. If you are thinking of visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, book this tour!!!

An absolute wonderful day with Anna. The meeting location was fully explained with several emails before the trip. It definitely was a full day experience with a well organized plan on walking up to the castle, since tickets are timed to enter. Anna explained the best way to make the most of walking through the castle. Prior to our timed ticket we walked to the bridge that provides incredible views of the castle perched on the hill. On the way back to Innsbruck we stopped at the suspension bridge for those that wanted to walk it. The price is not included in the ticket to the castle, but was so worth the experience to do it. Anna also explained and helped us purchase the tickets depending on what you wanted to do. She also was kind enough to stop at some scenic spots on our drive back for some great photo opportunities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this full day small group tour to friends or family. Just be prepared to get to the castle, it is an uphill walk.

Booked six months before tour, then they cancelled 4 days before the date. Way too late notice to be able to book with other tour groups and made us scramble and spent extra money right before our trip.

Amazing trip, Marin was an awesome guide. He made the day enjoyable and ensured that we were able to do and see everything. Without a guide it would have been much harder logistically.

The trip from Innsbruck to Neuschwanstein Castle was very enjoyable. The drive offered beautiful views of the mountains, with a mix of green hills and rocky peaks. The castle itself was impressive and worth the visit. Our guide, Anna, was friendly and helpful, sharing interesting facts without rushing the group. The pace of the tour was comfortable, and there was enough time to take photos and enjoy the scenery. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and a nice way to spend the day.

Stunning experience! The ride alone is stunning, guides are professional and very easy / relaxed with conversation - very well organized and the Castle / Suspension bridge exceeded our expectations! So very please with rhis now special memory!

Marin was an excellent guide. He picked us up in a mini van. There were two other people on the tour. Marin was full of information and stories. He knew details that we would not have known, like the importance of being on time for one. It was a beautiful castle just like a fairytale. A highlight was also the Highline 179 suspension bridge. We had a fabulous day!

The full day Neueschwanstein trip was excellent. We were a group of 6 active people with our guide, Marin. He was full of anecdotes, historical information and good cheer throughout the day. He gave us precise instructions about entering the castle, the need to be exactly on time, and other helpful details. We were able to also visit the long suspension bridge, climb past the Marian bridge for a great view, and he managed to get 4 of us back on time for their 7:15 train. We were in good hands from beginning to end.

Marin was our guide on our trip to Neuschwanstein. We were picked up in Innsbruck for a full and informative trip to Bavaria. Marin taught us so much about the history and lore of the area.

Our guide Marin kept us informed of his arrival itinerary and was on time. He provided us with a safe and comfortable ride and knew the best places to stop for pictures and park the car so our walking was reduced. His knowledge of the history of the region added to our enjoyment of the castle visits. He was a great conversationalist and made our day interesting and enjoyable. This is the 2nd year we have toured with Anna Tyrol and we will certainly do it again.

This was the 2nd private tour that I took with this tour company in April 2025. I was very concerned about the mobility of one parent and being able to use the elevators at the Neuschwanstein Castle. While it couldn't be guaranteed and was subject to the castle's approval, the tour company worked with me well in advance so they could submit the elevator request along with a medical letter as soon as the castle allowed the requests. While we would have taken this tour regardless, I was thrilled that both of my parents got to tour the castle and all of the pre-coordination done to accommodate the mobility issues. The castle also has very specific requirements for ticket pickup and timed entry, so we were happy to have the guides help us navigate this. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the area, the sights we saw, and being able to do the tour at our own pace especially given the mobility concerns. I was also happy we didn't need to drive ourselves so that everyone in the group could take advantage of seeing the beautiful countryside during the tour.

Fantastic, personal experience from beginning to end. The beautiful drive from Innsbruck to the Neuschwanstein Castle was filled with interesting information about the area and things we were seeing. Marin was very accommodating and we felt that we were in great hands all day. I’ve already booked with them again for an unexpected return to the area with my husband this summer.

We had a wonderful day trip with Anna from Innsbruck to Newuschwanstein castle. Anna was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and was very good company to spend the day with. We stopped along the way and saw another castle and rode to the top of the mountain on a gondola. It was a very safe trip with Anna's driving and comfortable car.

Anna has more details about the castle and the king than the tour inside had which was nice since they push people through the castle so fast

What a fantastic tour. Our guide Marin was very informative on the area and history which makes such a difference. The weather was perfect, snow around and for us from the Southern Hemisphere it was a wonderful treat. The ride in the funicular is a must and the opportunity to challenge yourself on the suspension bridge is there if you have the nerve. The castle was impressive. So pleased we took this tour, an absolutely awesome day.

The bridge experience was exhilarating. The visit to the castle was the highlight of the day. However the best memory will remain the time spent with Anna Tirol, the sweetest, kindest guide.
