Puerto Iguazu Airport Private Transfer

Easy communication and on time. It’s great not having to deal with transfers right after landing and having it all booked.

We had booked a RT Private Transfer from airport to our hotel in Iguazu falls. The pick up was awesome as Jose, our great and kind driver, was waiting for us with a sign right outside of baggage claim. The reason for the 2 star rating was because the day before our departure, the driver assigned to pick us up at from our hotel back to the airport informed us of a pick up time of 6:40am which first of all, was a bit too early for our flight and secondly, it would mean we wouldn’t be able to eat breakfast at our hotel. When I asked to be picked up at 7am, I was told that it was not possible as there were other passengers that needed to be picked up. I immediately responded by saying that we had booked a PRIVATE RT transfer and even screenshot the Viator booking stating that. The response I got was that they were not informed by the operating company that assigns the pick up with them. I immediately contacted the tour operator and finally got a response from the tour company apologizing for the mistake but stated that they would be doing a partial refund especially since the driver cancelled our pick up. It’s now been over 24h and I have not seen a refund on my account and will give them another week as I know these transactions can take time. We had to scramble and pay even higher fee for a last minute booking to the airport. Moral of the story is to never book RT and more importantly, check with your operator two days before and confirm what you purchased, especially if it’s a PRIVATE pick up! Had the driver not insisted on a pick up time of their choosing, we would not have even known that we were not getting what we paid for until day of pick up!

<p>The actual transfer to the airport was fine but we had an issue with the local coordinator deciding unilaterally to change the pick-up time. Someone else decided what time we wanted to go to the airport, not asking us if the change was OK. We had to speak to the office to have the time changed back to the time we originally requested. An annoying glitch to our arrangements.</p>

<p>Worst experience I have ever had with a pick-up. I was making connections from another between two flights and i had to change the second one because of delays -- I reach out by e-mail -- 3 times -- since I could not get a phone connection in that area of Argentina - got a response -- one saying the got the changes and the second confirmed the new details but low and behold -- when I arrived at the airport --NO DRIVER -- Another travel who had a driver allowed us to use his phone to call the emergency number -- it took 5 calls until we got someone --they gave me no reasons but finally said they would send someone -- since I had paid 60 for this I waited -- it took an hour before someone showed up and took me to my hotel -- </p> <p>I would never use this company again -- if the other travel and her driver had not helped I could still be standing waiting for a way to the hotel. This is a small airport with not much of anything in the way of help. Be careful they are not reliable.</p>

punctual service, greeted us with ID, super comfortable van. Luis very professional, friendly and helpful. The journey from the airport to the hotel was chatty, educational and entertaining. Best shuttle service I've ever received.
