Iguazú National Park, covering 65,000 hectares, takes its name from the river that forms its northern border—“Iguazú” meaning “great waters” in the Guaraní language. Surrounded by lush subtropical rainforest, the park is home to the majestic Iguazú Waterfalls, a collection of more than 275 cascades that rank among the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. Walking along the network of footbridges, you will experience the falls from multiple perspectives. On the lower circuit, immerse yourself in nature and feel the refreshing spray of the waterfalls. The upper circuit offers panoramic viewpoints, culminating at the balcony of Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat)—the park’s most awe-inspiring fall, where water plunges from 80 meters.
