Iguazu falls are a stunning natural wonder. Even though it was raining both days, and one of the circuits was closed while we were there, it still remains very well worth the journey. The opportunity to see the falls from both sides is a rich experience and one not to be missed

We decided to do two days at Iguazu Falls on a Brazilian trip, one on the Argentinian side and one in Brazil. Both were incredible. The first gave us some incredible views from the two different trails, with lunch in between. The second allowed us to get much closer to the falls (tip: take a poncho) both on foot, and then in a boat which took us literally underneath once of the waterfalls (tip: take a towel and change of clothes). Whilst we could have done this on our own, having a guide gave us a much richer experience, as well as the added advantage of taking much less time in queues, accessing the parks etc. Our Guide was Douglas and he was superb. Not sure if you can choose your guide, but if you can you should ask for Douglas.
We had an amazing time! So glad we selected the private tour as well as two days. Nelson was outstanding - going above and beyond for us. We spent out first day on the Argentina side and were able to hike all the main trails. Day 2 was the Brazil side which I expected to be shorter but somehow we filled it up! Everything was outstanding, Nelson was wonderful, the area breathtaking - a for sure trip! Side note - it turns out we picked a nice time of year to visit (late May/early June) - more comfortable temperatures and crowds were manageable.
We had a fabulous 2 days seeing Iguazu Falls. I highly recommend booking with Nelton Linden. He was very responsive by text and answered all my questions. Most importantly, he arranged for Douglas as our guide. Douglas is an excellent guide- he was knowledgeable, courteous, organized with all the pickups, drop offs, tickets and we were always at the right place and time to get on the next train, tram, boat. He was patient when we took so many pictures and, somehow, I think he arranged for us to have a sunny day with a perfect rainbow just as we got to a beautiful waterfall (weather.com predicted rain and clouds). This was the best and easiest way to see amazing sights in 2 countries with a local guide who handled every detail. I would rate this >5 stars if I could.
Iguazu Falls are the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen. Felipe was a great guide. Very knowledgeable, and was very considerate. Along with visiting both the Argentina side and the Brazil side, we opted to take the boat ride that takes you under one of the falls. I highly recommend the two day tour, and adding in the boat ride. I would definitely request Felipe as our guide if we return.

This was a great way to experience Iguazu Falls. It took all the stress out of the logistics and our guide Felipe added all kinds of stories and information to our days. If you only have one day, maybe it makes sense to do both parks in one day, but spreading it out over two days was much nicer. We went to the Brazilian side the first day and added the boat trip; it was a perfect first day. The second day was the Argentine side, which is a lot more walking, but gets you closer to the falls. We had lunch at the restaurant in the park, and while it was fine, it was too expensive for what it was, and I’d probably eat somewhere outside the park if I did it again. Felipe was with us each day, and helped coordinate buying tickets, the lines, and the itinerary to maximize our time and minimize the crowds. We highly recommend him.
We spent two very full days touring both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the Iguazu park and Falls. Our wonderful tour guide, Everton was caring, patient and very informative. He looked after all the details of our tour. His company coordinator and boss Nelson was easy to contact and made all the arrangements to get from the airport to our hotel, the tours and back to the airport. We had an absolute splendid two days with Nelton, our guide. I would definitely recommend the two day option for visiting Iguaza Falls so that you have plenty of time to walk all of the trails, deal with the crowds and get plenty of good photos, and be able to take advantage of the other activities like speedboat rides, etc., during your visit. Also, on the Brazil side of the Falls, having a private guide allows you to skip riding buses as the guide can drive you directly to the walking trail, which was much easier and a lot more relaxed. We also were able to beat the majority of the crowds as we got to the viewing trail on the Brazil side right as the first bus of the morning arrived. Nelton was very professional, spoke fluent English, and obviously was very experienced, as he not only helped us to navigate these absolutely huge parks, but he also made sure that we saw everything and every single “significant” viewpoint. I don’t know how we would have seen everything on both sides of the park (as well as navigate crossing the border so easily) without his help. He also helped us to understand the history of Brazil and Argentina, and the history of the park. We would definitely highly recommend this tour operator and his perfect two day tour itinerary!
We had a nice time. Our guide Chil was good. She knew how to skip the crowds and gave us some good information about the falls. She gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and other things in the area. Our only concern is that the tour is listed as a private person not a company. We thought we would be booking directly with Nelton as he was who was listed on Viator and who we had been communicating with since booking. He never indicated we would have a different guide. We would have appreciated more transparency. Not Chil’s fault.

I went with my husband for a day trip to both the Brazil and Argentina side of the Iguazu Falls with Nelton. We coordinated with him to make it happen because our flight arrived around 9am local time and left 8pm same day, and all the tours listed online commenced at 7am instead. He coordinated all drivers, cars, tickets for us and even with a 45 minute delayed flight, we did it all and had some time to spare. We explained in a whatsapp call prior booking that we are young, active, and determined and he trusted we could follow his lead to make it happen. It was appreciative he took the time to nurture our questions and desires. Nelton was a great communicator before and during the trip to give us faith we'd be taken care of, receive fun facts throughout our journey, and have a blast, which all were true. 100% recommended!

Nelton has been a tour guide in Iguasu area for over 20 years. He is a professional guide who has dedicated his life to providing his expertise to the first time visitors like me. He was very punctual and was flexible meet our needs as we flew into Brazilian side airport and flew out of Argentina side airport. He described just about everything you need to know and answered thoughtfully to every questions. Boat ride from the Brazilian side was a blast. And the helicopter ride was an icing on the cake. Argentina side day was a bit longer and more walking than the Brazilian side but you get very close to the Devil's Throat. I wholeheartedly recommend Nelton based on my two days with him.
