The tour had two components. First, we walked the upper and lower walks on the Argentina side. The crowd size was too big to be managed well, and our guide Marcel was not good. Marcel gave a 20 minute explanation of the park in Spanish, but no English. Then, when we got to the park he told me to buy a ticket and stand by the souvenir shop. I did that and waited 15 minutes. Another tour guide said he already left. So I went through the gate and walked into the park and eventually found the group eating snacks. I was extremely angry. The second part of the trip was the boat ride, and that was excellent. This tour needs to be smaller and they need to hire decent guides.

Impressive attraction !!! Are you a fan of adrenaline? Then La Gran Aventura is an excursion that you can not miss on your next trip to Puerto Iguazú. Known as the Baptism of the Falls; This tour combines the adrenaline of being only meters away from the most important jumps, with a jungle tour in 4x4 trucks. for 20 people. After this adventure you can go around the park. One of the 7 natural wonders of the world that nobody can stop visiting. Our guide during the transfer will provide you with information about the park, the waterfalls, flora and fauna of the place so that you do not miss any attraction while touring the park. Enjoy a full day at the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. They have 3 classic routes: superior, inferirio and gargante del diablo, all of them with very easy access and with the transfer of the ecological train that is included with the entrance to the park. For the more adventurous, there is the 3km route along the Macuco trail. The Macuco trail is pedestrian, self-guided, goes into the jungle and takes the visitor to the territory of the Caí monkeys (Cebus apella nigritus), where they can enjoy a close encounter with these expressive faces, restless and very curious. Another attraction of the Macuco trail is the Arrechea waterfall, a 23 m waterfall. You can not take the excursion with boat ride: - Under 12 years old; - Pregnant women; - People with pathologies and / or who have undergone surgery in the spine; osteoporosis, neck or back injuries; - People with cardiac, pulmonary pathologies (E.P.O.C.), or who have suffered in the last few months any surgery or neurological disorder (such as cerebrovascular accident); - Any other person who can not physically respond to an eventual nautical emergency in the lower Iguazú River. Great to do. Just don’t oversell the 4x4 element of the journey - it’s a perfunctory drive to get you to the real fun, and your boat!
I loved the motor boat ride, the guys were amazing, the jungle 4x4 is only taking you to the motor boat ride, so nothing special. The waterfalls can be done on your own at a much cheaper cost, so all in all it was worth the money for the motor boat ride but that was it.
Definately the body ride, it was so much fun and the guys on the boat made sure I was ok being a solo last. They were all really lovely.
We loved our day visiting the Argentine Falls ond taking this tour! The jungle paths were nice to walk around on and we saw lots of animals...birds, reptiles, and monkeys in the wild. However, the highlight of our day was obviously the boat ride under the falls!! The boat crew was fantastic and super nice taking photos of us and others seated in the bow of the boat during our ride. They ensured everyone had a great time as they safely soaked us all under the pouring water!! The Iguazu Falls are amazing and this is a fantastic way to enjoy them in another dimension as well!! Don't miss it, and just go prepared with your swimsuit!!
This activity is not to be missed if you are on the Argentinian side. Take a truck/bus ride into the rain forest for about 20 minutes to arrive at the site for the boats. You must be capable of walking 200 stairs alone, with no railing - both down and UP. It is well worth the walk but I would caution against older people trying this as it is a long walk, steep at times and there is no way for 2 people to be on the stairs at once to help another person. Extremely well run - they give you waterproof bags for your gear as well as life jackets. They drive you through the rapids on a motorboat and then up to the falls and then under the falls. An unforgettable experience. They even film the event and purchasing the video and still pictures is not expensive at all. What a great souvenir of an excellent time. However, tickets sell out wayyyy in advance. You need to be checking to be sure you are on line a week before you want to use the tickets. We signed in about an hour after the site opened for reservations for the upcoming week and there were only 16 seats left out of the hundreds that were available. We were lucky we got the tickets! Further, if the water is too low, they will not run the ride - so don't get too excited until you find out the morning of the event that it will be a go.
Had a mix up on this day. We’re suppose to go with this company but never heard from them and waited until 740am and no one came to pick us up. No email or WhatsApp of pick up time. Someone from our original company Cuenca del plata came and still had our name on the list and assuming they were Nordic we went with them. Had a great day with Cuenca del plata and our guide Marco Antonio was excellent. Did everything we would have done with Nordic but with Cuenca del plata. Nordic was in contact and did leave our tickets with our guide Marco for the boat tour. Thank you for that. So I can’t say how Nordic company is but Cuenca del plata was excellent.
Going on the boat completed our expirience from seeing the falls from the top. The boat was fill of adrenaline. The views of the falls was stunning and produce a very peaceful and beautiful feeling in our being. Nancy was a great guide and make our expirience memorable totally recomended.
If you are a foreigner, it’s cheaper to buy this tour through TripAdvisor than the tour agency official website. The only downside is that you still have to pay 4000 pesos for the park entrance. Otherwise this trip was well worth the money 5/5. The Gran Adventure was awesome
The experience was once in a lifetime and the staff was amazing! Definitely worth the effort to get to iguazu from San diego!
This is one tour Not to be missed! Especially the grand tour that includes the boat ride under the falls. Or drive literally went under the falls for an amazing refreshing experience! My husband and I highly recommend this tour!
Nice friendly tour guide and overall a great day out. The beginning of the day was very chaotic and if you don't speak Spanish then at times you're at a loss as to what is going on. But the boat trip was great fun - you get completely soaked!! We laughed a lot plus it's a unique way to see the falls. Would definitely recommend it to anyone just be prepared for a bit of early morning chaos and queuing!
Excellent tour, very complete, highly recommended all sorts of activities involved. Lots of walking but very rewarding
There’s an interesting four by four trip down to the steps where you descend to board the boat. The main event, though, is the thrilling ride under the falls. Do not bother to wear waterproof clothing, you will get wet!
It really was a very nice experience, that I never imagined in my life, the professionalism of this company surprised me pleasantly, Congratulations I recommend it 100%!!!!
A true marvel. One is left breathless by each and every image and experience. All positive.
One of the best experiences lived in cataracts. In addition to the landscape, adrenaline moves everything. I feel like doing it 100 times more.
Amazing experience!!! highly recommended!!! the landscape is fascinating, not erasing your smile. The impeccable organization. Don't stop doing it.
A spectacular journey. You're very close to the waterfalls. The Devil's throat is sensational. Excellent accessibility on 2 of the three trails.
Lamentable!!!!!!!!!! I was prevented from boarding because I have a scar from a surgical procedure dating back more than 45 years!!!! That's bullshit when you're letting people in their 80s, obese people at a higher risk than me. I was humiliated in front of all the tourists and dismissed like a slut. This is shameful!!!!!!! I flew 14 hours to visit Argentine and that's how we treat tourists like plague victims. I haven't had this in my whole life! Shame!!!!! And not a word of apology from anyone. I had to wait for my friends to sail around for 30 minutes in the sun before I could leave this place. This is lamentable! Don't go in there. An attraction for tourists that does not deserve the price you are charged. Run away!!!!
You have to live that experience yes or yes. The culmination to the visit of Iguazu Falls .E· is very spectacular
Spectacular excursion!!!! Unforgettable and incomparable!!!! From 10!!! You cannot visit the Falls without living this extraordinary experience!!!!
Overall pleasant experience at Iguazu Falls. Logistically it all worked out very well, although the tour has some aspects that can definitely be improved. First of all the description of the tour on TA is not at all clear and for example they could have written to bring a change in addition to solar and insect repellents (you practically enter the waterfall with the speedboat). In the morning we took a free walk along the various (very crowded) circuits. The guide was available to answer various questions, but did not provide any information about the falls. This aspect is definitely improvable, since without a guide you can not understand anything you see (not only regarding the waterfalls that are well signposted, but also regarding the complex surrounding ecosystem). After the lunch break the fun part of the tour began with crossing the jungle in an open van (not off the road) and various explanations. After a staircase of 250 steps you reach the pier. The dinghy ride is definitely the best part of the experience, where it feels like an Indiana Jones movie. Before embarking you receive waterproof bags and then begins the adventure going up the river until you literally enter with the dinghy under the waterfall. Needless to say, you come out completely soaked, but the fun is guaranteed and you discover the falls from a different point of view. After a few photos you return to the hotel. Experience to recommend if you see the Argentine side. If you want to take good pictures, they definitely come better from the Brazilian side.
Nordic provided excellent logistics to meet us and drop us off at the hotel and, manage the train ticket that brought us to the devil’s throat, your guide kept us in a group and told us which walkways to travel and what time to return to deliver us to ANOTHER PROVIDER (Jungle Iguazu) that is what I consider provided us the Service that Nordic promises in the title of the experience: "Motor boat under the falls, 4x4 truck through the jungle with the Argentine falls." We had mobility and HAD WE KNOWN THIS, we managed our schedules differently to be able to do the three gateways, not just two, and we hired the Jungle Service that is cheaper and charge it in non-DOLLAR PESOS, in addition to being the experience that everyone talks about in the comments. Nordic: Regular, good marketing, good logistics. Jungle: Excellent experience, great guides on trucks back and forth, rugged but effective attention on boats, with great safety handling. If you have a way of getting to the park by your own means, do it ;) Nordic does not even include the entrance to the national park. I hope it serves you my opinion. Good holiday!..
UNMISSABLE!! immeasurable, all together. Beautiful to know the falls but if you can also add the gomon and the ride in the truck you will not regret it. It's awesome to be there so close and feel the force of the water. Thank you Nordic!! But above all, on the two excursions I take with them, the guides super attentive and friendly. In both cases there were external problems that knew how to get around and gave us the best options. On the day of the boat, it was the day of the rains and climbs of the boat. Next Nordic and the people of the falls accommodate everything so that those who "had already hired the experience" did not miss it. They modified the routes and the excursion in general, in time as those who entered the afternoon could not make throat or gomon. On the day of the Ruins of San Ignacio, there was an accident on the route and we had a long delay. But the guide always with the best attention to all and keeping us informed. Same attentive attention from whatsapp and drivers for airport transfers in-out. All friendly and professional. Congratulations Nordic! Micros in great condition, professionalism and empathy. On several tours the Park Guides told us that Enterprise never rushes them and lets them do their own guide properly, which I think is most important of all.
You can't go to Falls without making that pass. I recommend hiring him directly in the park because that's a lot of money. The boat gets inside the falls. I recommend carrying eyelets and towel in your bag to dry after the experience
Amazing boat trip to the very heart of the falls. They take you down to the waterfall itself. Wet and happy...
Emocionante e imperdible.
Excellent contact with the falls, a lot of adrenaline, it is advisable to do it on a hot day, you get soaked and if it is cool you do not have a good time.
The truth is that it is an experience that no one can miss, the excitement and adrenalin that generates you is second to none. The staff, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, respectful and careful in the care of all visitors. A TEN!!!!
We couldn't perform it because of the operator's responsibility. We were informed that there were problems cutting route. I am processing the return through Takeoff
You can also view the falls from the water. And you should definitely do it. Very pricey, but what an experience! First you will be taken to the departure point by truck. Then you have to go a long way down to the water. You get a life jacket and a waterproof bag to put your gear in. Because everything gets soaking wet. First you sail down the river to the waterfalls in a furious speed. And then you sail near the falls, and finally below. You're getting a huge hit from the water. Plenty of time to take pictures and film. And then back. Soaking wet, back upstairs and up the truck. Highly recommended, what an adrenaline rush!
It was an amazing and unforgettable experience! Enterprise responded always and were all very friendly and attentive. Recommended a thousand times
All as described when hiring the Service. Super punctual, very organized. The afternoon before the contracted excursion they send you a message with the timetable in which they pass to look for you. Very friendly guides and drivers. The excursion was wonderful definitely MUST do if you go to waterfalls!!
Fresh from a few very nice days for iguazu. The Enterprise that moved me excellent, the guide and all services contracts everything punctual, clean and tidy. Complying with everything offered.
I highlight Nordic travel Service, very efficient, friendly and super punctual staff! Super recommended to have a nice experience without any complications
The “great adventure” is superb: first the big trucks that transport us near the falls and the departure of the boats ..sympathetic this walk in the jungle! And the descent on foot ...150 steps to reach the boats ... and there: Great! The boat crosses the rapids at full speed ... it’s beautiful and we reach the foot of the falls! Ideal outfit: swimsuit and sneakers and great transparent protection to be "less wet"! And the boat goes 2 or 3 times under the falls! Grandiose...
A great experience under the falls. EYE: THE VIDEO OF INDIAN PRODUCTIONS IS A SCAM. I paid 800 pesos for it and to have it emailed to me and I never received it. I wrote to them claiming and they never answered.
short, yet sensational experience. Amazing to get so close to the falls. DO NOT BUY THE VIDEO IF IT'S FROM THE INDIAN PRODUCTIONS IS A BIG SCAM.
