Overall, the experience was pretty good. The only downside was that our guide didn’t speak much English, which made communication a little difficult at times. We also weren’t informed of our hotel pickup time until 9:30pm the night before, which was a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, we still enjoyed the experience.

A lot of fun and worth doing to get close to the falls. Be prepared to be completely soaked (feet included, so take off your shoes), which is all part of the fun. It is not like a traditional jetboat in New Zealand (doesn't twist around) - but it just go fast and pumps the adrenhalin through you. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The operators placed a lot of emphasis on safety, which is good to know.
The falls are breathtaking and worth visiting and taking the time to see/explore every corner. That part is highly recommended. The boat ride took exactly 25 minutes and we have a feeling that it was shorter than expected. Yet, it was fun and reached most of the expected area, while other boats went further towards the falls. The tour guide was slow, and we (as well as most of the others on that tour) found ourselves most of the time ahead of him, while he barely caught up. Overall - Do NOT give up on the falls, but find a better as to visit them. Our friends did the exact same activities on their own (paid/booked on the spot), without booking such complete tour.
So helpful having a guided tour to make the most of the time . Although there was enough free time to take photos & see the falls at your own pace.
The issue of pacemakers Not allowed to go on river trip No previous warning given Not flagged up in Viator advert
Amazing trip on boat. You will get wet! Only downside is we wanted it to go on forever. If you do one thing do this. Also saw an alligator!
Without further explanation Viator cancelled my reservation. I try to contact local office with no luck
the waterfalls were breathtaking natural beauty and awesomeness abound natures masterpiece was stunning
This was hilarious! You WILL get wet. But you will also have a chance to take amazing photos of most of the falls from the boat before they take you in. It was an impressive display of the power of the falls and we got closer than I expected, to the point where you can’t even keep your eyes open, you’re in so much water! Be aware that you go down (and then up) a LOT of steps to get to and from the boats. It’s a very different experience to view the falls from the bottom and not just the top. I highly recommend the tour.
if 0 was an option, I would choose that. I bought it two days before going there and then the day of no one came to pick me up. no one answered the phone. Absolutely the worst will never use this app again. thankfully, my hotel had a travel agent.
They did not pick up at the pick up location at 7am in the morning. Was not able to contact them. Viator says they are trying to mediate and get a refund, but it's been two weeks and no further communication from Viator or this Grey Line operator.
The tour was not really a tour. More like a ride to the park. Our tour guide could not be bothered to tell us anything other than to point us to the upper and lower trail. Honestly don't bother. Just hire a taxi to take you there and pick you up. Make sure you go when they open to be ahead of the crowds. If you want to do the boat ride, which I would strongly recommend, it was 33000 peso's (or around $35) per person and you can sign up inside the entrance. The so called 4x4 ride is just an open air flatbed with chairs that takes you to the boat launch and is part of your boat ticket.
Best part of the park was the boat ride thru the falls…. It was soooo much fun and exhilarating. It’s a must . The park alone is nice but the boat ride is the cherry on the cake…
Carlos and Mohammed were incredible tour guides. So silly. So fun. Wet and wild ride. Would recommend.
The tour and tour guides were great! We got to walk the trails and see the falls from the various points at first and the views were spectacular. After a quick break for lunch we headed to ride in the 4x4s down to the boat dock. The boat ride was absolutely amazing, definitely the highlight of the tour. I highly recommend adding it on if you're making the trip to Iguzazu!!
The folks on this tour are kind, caring, and compassionate. They picked us up at our hotel, quickly got us to the park, and explained everything we were going to experience. The falls are beyond description and I won't forget this day.
Big group size. Spent more than 2 hours to wait for other people. Then we were back 2 hours after schuled time. I missed massage reservation.
Lived up to its expectations. Guide spoke Spanish and English. Guides on the boat and transportation cars spoke both languages. I recommend you prepare your own food package because free time is limited. Scenic and exciting. Well done and I strongly recommend.
Amazing experience with Marco Antonio - hassle free with plenty of time to take in the stunning nature. HIGHLY reccomend the boat tour, but bring dry clothes - you'll get soaked. :D
Wonderful tour guide. The tour was timely. Beautiful landscape. Boat ride amazing! Wonder falls are breath taking. Highly recommend
I have been in touch with trip advisor and the company regarding a refund, because the activity was cancelled the day before. They have said they would refund but no one has responded to my messages it would be great if someone responded as soon as possible.
I felt that it was more of an amusement ride than a scenic one. Very little English spoken so I just followed what everyone else did. There are a total of two “bumps” over mini rapids going to the waterfall and again on the same way back. I couldn’t see ahead of me as the boat rides high and if you think getting wet is fun, this excursion is for you.
The trip was mainly for Spanish speaking people. Although I don’t speak Spanish, tour guides Miriam and Daniella went out of their way to make sure that we weren’t “ignored” and that we understood the itinerary for the day. In regard to the activity, the boat tour was brilliant, I got absolutely mauled with water lol, while the Jungle Safari was also good. The walk to visit the numerous falls on the Argentine side is a long one but we went at a reasonable pace. The view from Devil’s throat is quite breathtaking. A truly memorable day from start to finish.
They took us right into the waterfall. It was truly amazing! And the guides were fantastic.. and the waterfalls are really really worth seeing.
Worth every penny. If you think you won't get soaked, you are WRONG! You will get soaked anywhere you sit. I sat at the last sits on the bottom level and I think that was the biggest mistake because all the weight is concentrated there and I saw big waves crashing down on me. Not that I'm complaining because it was a hot day and I needed to get wet. The view is definitely better down there than up on the cliffs.
It is worth it, save time, to be informed by a guide who tells you the characteristics of the park, it is priceless. Each waterfall has its story, they are beautiful!!! The adventure attraction is fun, phenomenal!! We stayed in the Brasil side and had no problem. But they must leave an hour before from the hotel in Brazil, the meeting point is on the Argentina side. They have to go through both passport Control (Brazil and Argentina) carrying a Passport is a must!! Take a taxi! I recommend it to everyone no matter how old they are.
I should have read other reviews. This operator cancelled the tour last minute, after I had flown to Iguazu and checked into my accommodation. They have a history of this, so I ended up visiting the park by myself. Everything they offer is available to everyone (Boat ride, 4x4 truck, train ride, park entry) and at half the price. You will see staff as soon as you walk into the park, who will book everything for you. If I hadn’t messaged them to confirm, they would have left me waiting at 7am without a pickup. My suggestion is visit the park when it opens and sign-up to the “gran aventura” when you walk into the park. If you go at 8am (when they open) you will see more animals. Have fun :)
We went in this boat on march 03, 2022, we hD a great rime in the boat number 51, we paid for the fotos and they told us that they were going to email it to us, we never got the pictures or the money back. Very dissapounted, we don’t have any pictures to remember this wonderfyl experience.
This was a good experience with knowledgeable guide. One addition I would have is a "meter" showing when to expect a large crowd. I would recommend asking for Florece if possible as a guide. Very knowledgeable, well spoken and was good at offering advice.
What an exciting experience with Toto. He stayed with our 27 people group and treated each and everyone of us special. He made sure the group stayed together and carried a large red umbrella so we always knew he was near. He had a schedule and was very timely. He wanted to make sure we had the best and safest experience. Thank you Toto for a great time in Iguazu National Park.
We had a great experience of Iguazu Falls on this tour. Our guide was helpful and spoke English well, he also gave us recommendations for restaurants in-town. While you could visit the Argentine side without a guide, having one made the day stress-free and easy to get around. Communication the day before was great and everything ran on-time. We started around 7:30am and were back at our hotel around 4pm.
They never showed up to pick us up and then have been completely unresponsive on messaging via Viator. Their phone number doesn't work and they don't have an e-mail.
The boat ride was fun! The walk around the falls was gorgeous! I especially loved seeing all the monkeys and butterflies In the jungle. Enrique was a good guide, he even shared his phone with us so we could watch the soccer match!
Tour guide was professional sharing expert knowledge and history of the park. Beautiful, up-close views of the falls and wildlife. The boat ride was the highlight of the day. This tour is highly recommended.
Being so close to the falls is an incredible experience. An absolute MUST. You really feel the jungle and the power of the water.
DO NOT USE THIS TOUR - the drive did not show up at my hostel after payment and confirmation. Its been 2 days and I still haven't heard anything from the company and am waiting for a refund. You can do everything offered in this tour for far cheaper at the park, book travel with Río Uruguay on the day and book the Grand Adventure at the park to save £40 and avoid giving money to these scammers.
I booked the trip the day before and received confirmation. That evening I received 2 emails confirming pick up times etc and ticket information. 10 mins later received email saying trip wasn’t available on that day and they were offering me the next day when I was due to leave for flight back to Buenos Aires. The email said if you cannot make this new day then cancel - I cancelled and received email confirming it was cancelled and that I would get 0 refund!!!! A fight I have yet to have to get this refunded! I decided to make my own way to the falls (6000 pesos or there is a bus) The next day on the day they had offered which I had cancelled the bus turned up to pick me up at my hotel!!!! Useless springs to mind. My advice make your own way to the falls and book this trip there if you want (14,000 pesos) - these are cowboys and think nothing of letting people down at the last minute!
I received a notification 30 minutes before leaving that the driver was not going to be able to pick me up. Still waiting for the refund. They didn't give me any other options. I was traveling alone. They should verify if at least they could take 1 more person in the tour before taking my money.
This was definitely one of the best tours ever, and I travel around the world all the time. Iguaçu Falls is spectacular, overwhelming and beautiful. Well organised tour. Be sure to go on the boat, that tops everything else.
Activity, which is performed by a set of local agencies is really great - the falls are incredible and Manuel from Cuenca del Plata which is the local office arranging everything did the utmost possible to load with information and be as helpful as possible. Actually "jungle ride" which is a part of the boat trip is only the way of transportation to get to the boat from the national park - don't expect too much from this part but the boat ride itself is great - nice approach to the falls from below, place and time to take great photos and then the main part of getting really showered. The boat captain will do everything to ensure that in the end, you are completely wet :). The terrible part of the tour was organisation from the Gray Line which is just a huge travel agency sitting in Buenos Aires and trying not to mess up everything with the bookings. They did not managed for me – I had to switch my booking for 1 day earlier than initially booked, and although I got confirmation from Tripadvisor/Viator that my adventure is changed, seems that this information was lost somewhere in the realms of GrayLine. I waited for 1 hour at the hotel, then the hotel receptionist managed to reach them over the phone and the single thing they managed to say - ups - your trip is still scheduled for tomorrow - no excuses, no solutions, nothing... that damn delay was a bit costly as actually I was forced to book another plane ticket back to BA - I came to see the falls and I was determined to do that - most probably this is only time in my life visiting Argentina and this region... Such a bitter aftertaste to a great activity,,, So - do not rely on intermediaries - try to do your research and book everything directly from locals.
Was awesome experience, in particular the adventure experience (boat ride). Overall experience was excellent!
Driver did not show up to pick us and another couple up at the meeting point- nothing more to say! Still no money refunded- don‘t book it. You can easily go on your own to the park and book the activity directly there.
Patricia was an amazing guide who clearly spoke multiple languages that was easy to understand. The trip was unbelievable! The falls are amazing, highly recommend the boat ride. They actually bring you right under the falls! Feels safe the whole time as well!
Pick up never came and any attempt to call or contact the local tour company was not successful as nobody would answer any phone numbers or emails given.
We had a great guide called Maria who ensured we saw everything and gave us loads of information. If you do the boat ride don't panic about keeping things dry, the boat team handout dry bags. For the best experience wear a bikini and shorts (ladies) and swim shorts for you guys, put your shoes and bits and Bob's in the dry bag, then go get soaked in the falls! Its brilliant, don't bother with a poncho. It's a great day out but be aware, you will be walking and taking lots of stairs. PS, when they say "don't feed the animals" they mean it for your own welfare! Coati's are mean and will bite if you feed them. Kids, look dont touch! Coati's are NOT cute! Have a great trip!
It's a great experience! They offer photos and video for a reasonable price at the end of the tour (ARG $800 by email, or ARG $1000 for a pendrive they send to your hotel the next day) The tour consists on a ride through the jungle with a tour guide for some km. and after some stairs, they give you a "waterproof bag" so your things won't get wet but i recommend taking a few precautions (don't take things that get wet so easily, or put it on a plastic bag besides the one they gave you) also, take a plastic bag for the wet clothes or you can go on your swimming suit! you can be barefoot once you're inside the boat only. Once on the boat they take you right above a waterfall and get completely wet. The shower drop on you several times (some groups shower 3 or 5 times). It's really fun and enjoyable 'cause of the intense heat and humedity there's on the area. I recommend do it as soon as you get to the park so you can make the rest of the park relaxed and not been on a hury to get to see everything and get to the tour on time
We were picked up on time at our hotel. The guide, Riccardo, was organized and spoke English well. The Falls are spectacular and the boat ride was so much fun. We had an awesome adventure.
Best Tour, Best Guide (Jessica) and Best Place!!!! A must see!!!! Went with friends and had a blast. Prepare to get a shower 😉
Incredible experience! Nature at its best. The tour was well organized and highly enjoyable.Highly recommended.
it is really good, but not because of the tour, because of the iguazu falls. besides it is a bit overpriced. there are another options also good for less money
