The Brazilian side of the falls and the bird park did not disappoint - amazing. The tour was a little disorganized. When I booked it at first, it said that it could not pick us up at our hotel. Then I got a DM that said they would pick us up at 7 AM. That was then changed to 7:30am and then late the night before to 8:30am. It was also not clear when we bought the tickets to the actual park what time we should buy it for in terms of the entrance so we did not buy it. That caused a lot of confusion when we got there. Finally, we departed from the bird place, but left behind, if you passengers so once we went through immigration, we need to go back into the Brazil side to pick them up. Just another delay about 30 minutes. Of that, guide himself was amazing. Very accommodating and nice.

Itinerary
Our tour begins by departing from the passengers` hotels to go to the Tourist Assistance Center to buy the entrance tickets to the park. (You might need a visa to cross the Brazilian border if you are staying in Argentina).
When we arrive at the Visitor Center, we’ll kick off the trip around the park by leading you to one of the tour cars.
We’ll then drive to the main paths which stretch over 1,200m of the park and sit above the Iguazu river. From here, you’ll get a panoramic view of the Argentine side of the falls: the perfect spot to take some photos.
Continuing along this route, you’ll get to see the Cañón del Río Iguazú, Salto Rivadavia, Tres Mosqueteros and many others. Towards the end of the route, you’ll also see the lower part of the river and the impressive Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Gorge). The walkway ends beside Salto Floriano, from where you can take either a number of stairs or an elevator straight down to the car park or up to shops and restaurants.
The Bird Park is close to the Iguaçu National Park, which facilitates the movement and reduces the transportation time. Upon arriving there, we will travel through several trails inside the park to observe and interact with the local nature. The Bird Park is a unique place, counting more than 200 animal species, many rescued from illegal traffic. The main idea is to make a Sanctuary for engendered species. Hosting the biggest Araras (Macaws) Sanctuary in South America, the Bird Park offers safe spaces for visitors to enter and observe the birds from very close and in liberty. Living in wide Vivarium, the birds can fly free and visitors can enter the vivarium without bothering the animals. Also hosting some anacondas, boas, crocodiles, Titi monkeys and special butterflies, the park makes the visitor's delights and awakens it curiosity. Walk along the paths, entering vivariums and temples, learning more about each and every species living in the Sanctuary.

Unfortunately they wouldn’t let me go on the trip as in their eyes I didn’t have a Visa to enter Brasil. However this wasn’t true as another company stated this was not required since it was a day trip. I then asked for a refund which they refused. It has been over a month and no response. Avoid this company as they have scammed me. If you don’t provide a service how can you not provide a refund.
It’s worth repeating: Read the Fine Print. This tour does NOT include admission to Iguazu National Park nor Parque des Aves (Bird Park). In fact, none of the three tours to the Brazilian side include park/parque admission. The ticket pays for transportation and a multilingual guide. He/she is very important in gathering passports and visas and walking them through passport control. Viator said we had to be at meeting point at 7 am. Wrong! The local operator (the actual provider) wanted us present at 7:45 am. That’s a big difference. Unlike the walkable Argentinian side, the Brazilian side confines guests to a bus for long periods of time due to passport control both coming and going. Not recommended during high season.
Brilliant trip with some waiting at the border. Guide was excellent. Driver on way back (guide no longer with us) drove like a maniac after the Argentinian border.
A truly unforgettable experience that was very well organized and orchestrated. The whole experience just takes your breath away.
Subcontracted to Sol Iguazu tour operator. Good: Nice bus and guide Fast processing at border Visited 2 parks Bad: Early pickup, but the bus waited 15min in the street for another group of passengers and guide to arrive. Then spent another 45min detour to take us to a souvenir shop. Very rushed thru the waterfall park, skipping a viewpoint, so other passengers can catch their flight. Recommend looking at other tour operators that do not waste your time at a souvenir store before going to the wayerfalls.
Everything went smoothly, which is exactly what we looked for crossing the border. We were the only ones for the itinerary and got attached to a bus full of local tourists, but our guide was extremely nice, fluent in English and we had a great day despite torrential rain. The Brazilian side of the falls is unmissable and the Bird Park is a beautiful, highly developed facility with huge outdoor aviaries which supports conservation and research .
The attention to detail was excellent our guide Miguel was attentive and very informative. The falls were amazing. Something that I will never forget.
The Falls were absolutely amazing. It’s a natural wonder that should not be missed. But the Bird Park was tremendous as well. So many different species, so colorful. It made the tour extra special.
Excellent organization, very good guide, easy to book, everything as described in the application...
Our guide:Mr Pacarow was extremely organised, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The Brazilian side was more compact but gave a very different experience to the Argentinian side. The Bird park gave the opportunity to see native birds up close-would’ve be good to have longer there.
Simply stunning. Brazilian Falls are not to be missed! Our guide ensured a seamless trip through the respective border crossings and took time to ensure that we saw all that we wanted and at our own pace without feeling rushed. A really enjoyable tour with Frederico. Gracias.
The Bird Park is really a nature conservation project, aimed at preserving their Atlantic Rainforest and protecting birds and reptiles that are disappearing or being used for illegal sale overseas. A great layout, walking through a structured trail that lets you view all the animals easily and safely.
Excellent activity, the guide "Bird" was great, he expedited our entry to the park and always provided tips and explanations that are not found anywhere else, we also went to the bird park, a very good place to go with kids.
It is a place where constant work is seen with much love, dedication and patience for the rescue, rehabilitation, care and if possible the release of wild animals, which have been victims of illegal wildlife trafficking, hunting, accidents, abandonment, etc. The tour consists of the transfer in an ecotrailer, surrounded by trees of almost 39 meters. Then an 800 meter walk, where the guide explains and shows the sad stories of each little animal. As well as the projects in which they are working to offer their operation and insertion. In your living quarters. Then return back to the entrance of the property. Congratulations to everyone for such an important job!!!!! 😊
We were surprised by the number of animals and thanked for visiting the shelter. Not only are they birds, there are a wide variety of species, including monkeys, big cats, freckles, etc. It is a walk of about one hour, it costs $20000 per person, can be paid by card and offer discounts for the Ice Bar.
Perfect place, the contact with nature and with animals directly is wonderful. The staff are all polite and explain a lot to you during the ride.
Don’t miss a place where they try to reintegrate indigenous species into their original habitat, an organization that is making a significant effort. Animals can be observed that would otherwise be impossible. Now the Guide was horrible, passing anti-Catholic and political messages that had nothing to do with it, they should take care of this detail.
The guide to national parks was excellent. It rained a lot all the way so we didn't see too many animals. Although the walk does not close for rain I do not recommend it to the place if it is raining. The work they do is excellent.
An unmissable attraction, the park is an example in every sense. They transport you in a tall vehicle to the reserve and the guide was outstanding in his explanations. Highly recommended visit
guira oga park of recovered animals! It began as a place to recover domesticated birds that were victims of illegal trafficking, and then incorporate more animals. We had Julieta as our guide, excellent explanation!! A lot of dedication!. short 15min tractor ride to a 40 minute walk between all the recovered animals. recommendable.!!!
Must see when visiting the falls, beautiful on both sides, from Brazil you can see incredible views, and from the Argentine side too but when referring to the Devil's Throat, from the Brazilian side you see further away and from the Argentine side you are practically inside the Stunning Throat, back in trip to the airport of Puerto Iguazu we stopped for two hours in Guira Oda, what a good idea it was, how much we learned of conservationism, protection of species, and respect for the jungle and its resources. Guira Oga does not receive state support, it is only maintained with the collection of tickets, for retirees and minors on 25.05.23 we pay $ 1700,= per person, plus private donations. The full tour takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Gendarmerie and Police send hit-and-run animals injured by poachers, etc. and Park Rangers find In Guara Oda heals them rehabilitates them and returns them to the wild when they are already in condition to be reintegrated into their natural habitation. We really saw beautiful specimens. A significant number of animals classified in huge jaulones but set with the original trees of the area that were not cut if not adapted the facilities to preserve the Natural Mood. Liliana the guide who accompanied us to a group of 20 people informed us in detail of each species of animal recovered, a passionate person with his work that he knew how to transmit it perfectly. We left very satisfied. Looking forward to telling everyone about this beautiful experience.
It was the worst suggestion they made, we left depressed. We take the girls to see the birds but the experience is horrible. We had to wait a lot, the roads to circulate are super narrow and uncomfortable to go with conches. The animals are caged in small domes, they're all sad stories and it's like they want to justify all the time why they can't let go. Some cats are alone in small enclosures and have an eagle tied to a trunk. Terrible everything. I understand it's a place where they take animals to retrieve them and that's valuable but offering the ride doesn't add up. On top of that it gets long and even the girls wanted to leave and we had to wait at the end more than 15 minutes for the truck to arrive to take us to the exit.
