Didn’t arrange pick-up from Brazilian side, although they let us choose it in the Viator app. No English communication from their side ended up costing us the whole booked tour, when they apparently had told us they don’t pickup.

falls Iguazu
This activity is undoubtedly the most beautiful walk of Iguazu, One of the 7 natural wonders of the world that not anyone can visit. This attraction has the transfer from downtown hotels or that are located on the road route to the Falls. Our guide during the transfer will provide you with information about the park, the waterfalls, flora and fauna of the place so that you do not miss any attraction while touring the park. Enjoy a full day at the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. They have 3 classic routes: superior, inferirio and gargante del diablo, all of them with very easy access and with the transfer of the ecological train that is included with the entrance to the park. For the more adventurous, there is the 3km route along the Macuco trail. The Macuco trail is pedestrian, self-guided, goes into the jungle and takes the visitor to the territory of the Caí monkeys (Cebus apella nigritus), where they can enjoy a close encounter.

From the start I should make it clear that while I was booked on this tour I chose not to participate for reasons that will become apparent. My partner did go on the tour & she was very happy with her experience. My issue was the almost complete lack of communication from the tour operator prior to the days activities. I received an email from the Grayline Argentina around 24hours before the day of the tour. This was to advise that the tour operator, Nordic Travel would contact us with information about the hotel pick up & tour info. On the evening before the tour, by 8pm there was no communication. I emailed Grayline as that was the only contact info I had. At around 8.45pm I received a WhatsApp message regarding the time of the pick up the next morning. No communication about the itinerary, availability of food & water etc. We had to go online & find the Nordic tours website to see a description of what we thought would be the days program. My issue was that I have arthritis in my knees and I am limited in how far I can walk. The tour involved a 10-11km walk to 36C heat, something that would have been beyond me. If I had known this previously I would not have booked the tour. I met the tour guide on the morning of the tour & explained this which was met with complete indifference! I asked my travel agent to request a refund which was refused with a totally lame excuse about the tour information being communicated via the tour voucher which was absolutely not the case. I’m not in the habit of writing bad reviews as I feel that as a traveler I want to be positive & give good feedback wherever possible but this experience was a shambles.
We have good guide Claudia. She looks after everyone. She arranged 3 groups. Professional guide. We are happy with her.
Then you have entered the park after a long wait you are transported with a small old train to the starting point. It is really cute. After that you sone can see a very fashioning side between the threes. The water is falling down from a very large plateau everywhere in very large and smaller streams. After that you start the walking on a metal walkway, this you do the whole trip. This gives makes you walk and seeing the waterfall system from within. However, for some it can be a pretty long walk. There are many separate falls with different amount of water. Sometimes you see them from above and sometimes from below. And in some cases, you see a very distinct rainbow. All in all it is really an experience for live.
Bad, very bad. We were not picked up at the agreed pick up point. We lost our tour at the Iguazu Park. Although the chat with an agent in the Viator App was good, they were not able to resolve the matter to avoid loosing our day for touring. I requested a reimbursement, but not sure if Viator will grant it. Not good for next time.
The Nordic tour guides did a spectacular job of guiding us around the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side. For those who had a visa for Brazil, the tour could continue for a second day on that side. We did not have a visa for Brazil so we confined our tour to Argentina. The guides spoke English well enough to attend to our needs, and they took excellent care of us! Highly recommend to maximize your experience of seeing this wonder of nature!
I book my ticket to IGUAZU Falls with you I was trying to reach you by email no reply I short I went with your ticket they didn’t accept it I have to buy another ticket. Would you refund me???
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful! We had a great time in the Iguazú park! Thanks so much!
Iguazu Falls are spectacular and did not disappoint. We were on a tour with Road Scholar that included Santiago, Valparaiso, Puerto Varas, Patagonia, Bariloche, and Buenos Aires. They did a great job and we got to see a lot. We saw the falls from the Argentina side as well as from the Jungle boat ride. Never saw anything as grand and we were really glad we went.
Great day tour with quality coach transfers and guide. Excellent advice for the circuits. Time for lunch and souvenir shopping too.
They were very punctual and buses were comfortable. The tour’s language was Spanish while I have booked an English tour but the guide was over all helpful and tried to explain a bit in English.
Excellent touring of the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Top class bus service, guide and attention to everyone. Nordic Travel are a great group operating there.
You have to do both sides of these falls because they are so different. This side gives you a great insight into the myriad of subsidiary feeds that constitute the whole as well as the dramatic main falls that you cannot see from the Brazilian side. A train takes you to the main start points but be warned, there is a lot of walking. It is wheelchair friendly in many areas but it is going to be hard work without power. It is flat but if you are walking impaired, it is going to very tiring. Is it worth it? Well, yes, most definitely as the views are tremendous and and you get an insight into the extent of the area feeding the falls. My advice if time is limited, take the "blue" route. It does get crowded particularly at the vantage points but you will get your "money shot" with a little patience.
Although Viator said there was availability for the tour and took our money I received a Message from Nordic tours saying that tour was full and to contact Viator for a refund. It took two attempts to make the person at Viator understand that I hadn't cancelled the tour we couldn't go on it because it had sold out despite Viator saying there was availability. I was very disappointed because we only had one day in Iguazu before returningtoBuenosAires. 'm still waiting for my refund.
Less than 24 hours before our tour they informed us they would not pick us up at the Airport as we had scheduled. They would also not pick us up at our hotel. We arrived as scheduled at 7:10 AM. They also said we could cancel but they would not refund our money. Currently we are working with Viator to get a refund. I would NOT use this tour company.
Spectacular falls, in the Middleton of the jungle, but still accessible from a large number of viewpoints.
Excellent tour, very complete, highly recommended all sorts of activities involved. Thank you and see you again soon.
Met at the airport by our guide Marcos and driven to the Iguassu Falls. Marcos was exceptional showing us the best of the falls, explained the history of the area, and suggested options with no pressure to purchase. We then went to the Brazillian side and went on the boat ride under the falls. This is a must do if you go to the falls. Marcos then drove us to places off the normal tourist route and we saw the falls at sunset. He then took us to a spot lower down where we could almost touch the water. He made this day one of the most memorable of any day I have done in 20 years of travel. His company is globa travel in Iguassu.
Absolutely beautiful place and a special thanks to the guide who personally came to explain everything in English to me as everyone else in the group were spanish speakers!
It is an inexpensive tour and is mainly transportation from your hotel to the falls. It has added value through a kind guide who gives you all necessary infotmation but let you explore the park on your own. Convenient tour we liked it. Please note park entrance fee is not included.
As of late Dec 2022, the walkway to devils throat was closed. Expected to open by March 2023. Boat tour was very good. You can purchase boat tickets inside the park for about 14,000 (~$42 at blue rate of 330 ARS to $1). Park entry was 4,000 ($12 blue rate). Suggest getting to the park early, book your boat ride as early as possible. Walk the upper and lower trails either before or after the boat, depending on timing. It gets feels crowded because much of the “trails’ are slightly elevated narrow metal walkways that tend to move slow. Several of of the trails are closed, so you will likely not be able to follow the map exactly. Marginal food is available in the park. But if you get your boat ride in early, you can be easily done by noon or 1 o’clock. In my opinion, that would allow you time to make your way to the Brazil side via taxi. No need to book a tour. Especially if you are active and want to keep moving. The group moves very slowly, and in my opinion, not worth the information shared, which can be found on the internet.
The falls are amazing - must see. However, my experience is that it is not necessary to go with a tour agency. You will see exactly the same things as if you went by yourself and the tour guides did not really interact with you during the experience. They are also highly likely to be late picking you up from your hotel. I would recommend booking the boat / waterfall experience in-person at the falls rather than beforehand on one of these TripAdvisor experiences.
I do not recommend this company. They delayed our tour almost 2 hours. They also had miscalculated the amount of people so they did not have enough seats in the van. We had to see the falls at a high pace, they did not compensate us in any way.
An totallay amazing water fall! Huge and loud! The park is very well kept and the pathways are wide and easy to follow. The refreshments were extremely expensive!
Visit to the falls very disappointing, only 1 out of 3 circuits open, unacceptable 60000 pesos per person without warning us that 2 circuits were closed! This is called theft! Avoid at all costs! And it's not possible to negotiate a refund, the weather conditions meant the falls were closed, okay, but warn people at the entrance and lower the price. More than a negative point for Argentina!
Very attentive and professional, they fulfilled everything. Driver and guide, Nancy very good.
It was sincerely a pleasure to go on this excursion with Shamara, with her grace and wisdom, being continuously attentive to the group, Congratulations Shamy!!!!
Personally I don't like the attention at all -tour Falls Arg. ... I understand that ‘much’ to tell there is not, but the guide did not worry much about explaining anything... interesting things: like that the falls are ‘moving’ 1mm annually as a result of the erosion of water in the stone... that were not always there (thousands of years ago) or tell us about the life of poor Vencejo 🐦ₛ Nothing, I can live without that info, what I mean is that ‘you pay for a guided tour’ -transfer In / Out airport, we arrived in Iguazu and there was no one, arrived at approx 1/2hra, to leave I had to wait for him to name me twice to know that he was asking about me, what a bad vibe that man please! Nothing, me: personally, I will take care not to have a deal with Nordic Iguazu again
Nos estafaron, nunca nos fueron a recoger al hotel, ese día fue horrible para mi familia, ya que nos dieron falsas indicaciones y no cumplieron con lo pactado
It was Horrible, we were tricked and never picked up at the hotel, we paid for a hotel pickup tour and the same day of the tour we were written about the meeting point that was directly in the park! We were cheated and lost the money
I hired the great adventure to do in iguazu, the excursion did not go, they kept the money I had paid them and they do not return it. I've been back for 15 days and they still won't give me the money back or answer the texts. SCAMMERS ARE
I have been cancelled the excursion activity to the moconá jumps with less than 8h in advance, and I have already been cancelled another activity in Salta. I assessed them positively in the activity of Salinas grandes and the one I decided to do in jumping instead of hiking in San Lorenzo. Here I value them as your organization, LOUSY
Pick up at the hotel on time, we were taken to the entrance of the waterfall park. Here we lost a lot of time to enter and get to the train that led to the Garganta del Diablo station. Once we arrived we were shown the walkway to reach it but no explanation on the place was provided. They just told us to get back to the station an hour later. Second lap made on one of the circuits, again without description of anything. Lunch break then 90 minutes before queuing up for the boat ride, the only positive note of the day, managed by the Park staff. In summary, 10 hours outside the hotel, for a maximum of two and a half hours. Given appointment at the exit, which we had to reach ourselves, bus arrived 30 minutes late. Recommendation for this experience
I should just say awesome! I went to visit the Argentine side and there you can see the full force of the waterfalls, you can see from where they break, I touched open the throat of the devil and had a lot of water! Unmissable.
Excellent service, very punctual. The guide Chelo is the most, super friendly perfectly accompanies the visit with a lot of interesting information that adds up. He gave us optimal tips to enjoy our experience. Thank you so much!
They do not refund the money, not because of what the contract says, not for anything in the world, nor do they offer you open vouchers so that you can carry out the NordicTimoTravel activities again... We contracted with this company, if you can call them a company... The transfer from Iguazú Airport to the hotel, the Argentine Falls excursions with Great Adventure and Brazilian Falls, March 20 and 21 respectively, we arrived in Iguazú around 3:00 p.m., the driver who picked us up after dropping us off at the hotel told us that on the 20th at 07:30 a.m. they would pick us up from the hotel (we only had two full days in Iguazú). Around 8:00 p.m. (7:55 p.m. to be exact) I receive an email telling us that they will pick us up around 10:00 a.m. since they had replanned and on the 20th we would do Brazilian Falls? This is a 1/2 day excursion, we told them that we had planned the afternoon of the 21st, to which they argued that this was in the contracting conditions...We had to swallow because that was how it was... On 03/21 they picked us up by the hotel at 07:40 a.m. to do Argentine Falls with Great Adventure, which seemed like a day of great adrenaline. It ended up being a disaster, when we arrived at the park we bought the tickets and around 8:45 we took the train to the station where we would get off and take the trails that run through the three areas, only when we arrived they told us that the Devil's Throat trail It is closed for works and they will not reopen it until August 2024... it was not indicated in the contracting program... Now the worst thing about all this is that during the train trip, a very strong wind arose with abundant rain which stopped/retained us at the trail access station for approximately three hours, until they informed us that the park was closed due to hurricane-type winds that left the trails impassable with fallen trees, branches, etc. As we were leaving the next day, 22.03 at 10:10 a.m., we requested a refund for not carrying out the activity due to force majeure (decision of the management of Argentine parks), they told us the following: "we remember that the company is not responsible for the events that occur due to a fortuitous event or force majeure, climatic phenomena or acts of nature that occur before or during the development of the services that prevent, delay or in any way hinder the total or partial execution of the contracted services. Therefore, there is no partial or total return of the service because it was a third party decision." We requested an open voucher and they did not answer us anything further. Be very careful with this company, if everything goes well, Fantastic!!! Otherwise you will be very harmed!!! Good luck if you hire these...
Estafada, pague el paquete para cataratas de Iguazú y no me buscaron, no me responden las llamadas y no me dan señales de rembolso, estafa total está compañía, no compren acá, investiguen primero, viajen con las personas del mismo lugar que visitan
A breathtaking experience! Amidst the stunning and unique nature, amazing waterfalls, an ecological walk with the presence of various wildlife, I loved!!
19.Feb.23. I have been visiting the Falls on the Brazilian side many times, but this time the experience was different, because on the Argentine side the view is from top to bottom, while in Brazil, we see the falls from bottom to top. VALEU
Just thanks to this Enterprise, we had contracted transfer, Argentine Falls ruins and sunset walk along the Iguazu. Our flight was cancelled and we travelled 3 days later. They rescheduled everything WITHOUT CHARGING US ANYTHING. Friendly and fun top guides. I would hire them again without hesitation.
The falls on the Argentine side are the most amazing!!!! the Devil's Throat... beautiful as it splashes the water of the falls on the walkway... I would always return to that place!!!!
Excellent experience with Nordic. We were contacted x mail when we purchased the ticket with precise instructions regarding the purchase of the entrance to the parks. The day before the tour, by whatsapp they confirmed the pickup schedule with important reminders. During the tour we had the telephone contact of the guide in case we missed the group. The accompaniment of the guide was very interesting, precise and not invasive.
Very disorganized, our guide Cesar had a problem arriving at the Devil's Throat, the group broke up, some of us traveled on the train at the time he said and another part of the group on the next because there was no one to replace him or even indicate how we were going. On the way back, it was necessary to wait a long time until the boat tourers arrived, those who should have been in another vehicle in my opinion so as not to delay the whole group. I wouldn't hire this agency again.
Beautiful triple border experience, beautiful hotel, friendly people, green landscapes, variety of fruits, beautiful Guarani crafts, with a mysterious Paraná River and majestic falls.
I went in February with my 2 children aged 18 and 16. Since we only had 2 days I informed Nordic entrance that we wanted to do the BIG ADVENTURE ride. The description on the voucher is absolutely CONFUSING and INCOMPLETE, it is not known which day you are going to each place or what each ride in each country includes. In Argentina I told the guide that we wanted to do Gran Aventura, she didn’t tell me that I should do it that day yes or yes because the next day it was Brazil. Back to the hotel I consult by whatsapp and they tell me that they do not sell similar walk on the Brazilian side, I consult how I can do and they do not respond. The next day as soon as we boarded the transport consult with the guide our problem, it did not help us at all. Some time later I found out that we would not have lunch in Brazil (yes we did on the Argentine side) and that we would return in time to go to the Argentine side again; "we flew" in a taxi but there were no tickets for Gran Aventura because they had sold out in the morning. Neither the guide nor the agency suggested that I take tickets in the morning so that I could do the ride at 15.30 (last departure), on top of that I was not even offered to buy it by Nordic itself. A DISASTER, I hired the agencies to help us know a place I didn't know. SERIOUS ERROR!! I just made the mistake of not buying Gran Aventura from Buenos Aires but Nordic DID NOT HELP ME ANYTHING TO FIX IT.
We contract the transfer of the airport- hotel and hotel- airport, very puntuelws with their services, there is nothing to claim. Then we hired EXC Argentine Falls, we were searched in our hotel without any delay. The Enterprise staff very friendly, responded to WhatsApp immediately, always attentive to the customer. We will recommend your services.
Excellent Service! Punctuality, impeccable vehicles. I highlight the feedback at all times by whatsapp and finally the cordiality and attention of the drivers! Both on excursions and Aero-IGR transfers!
Fascinating, from start to finish, the truth that everything more than good, from the transfers, the comfort of each vehicle, the good Welcoming from the people of de Nordic all more than good. Guide Adrian a genius, he gives you a great day.
Very nice experience nordic travel is excellent all are very responsible and good vibes both guides and drivers and all q coordinate excursions .I recommend it
We contracted everything with NORDIC without knowing the Enterprise beforehand and without knowing it since we did it for Takeoff (from the transfer, ruins of San Ignacio and Cataracts). We didn’t want to close the trip without recognizing the professionalism and warmth of all the staff we have dealt with these days.
