Never picked me up - after booking, no confirmation on pick up time. Waited 2.5 hours and no communication, driver showed up then immediately left.
The enormity of the falls. The walk over the river. The guide took care of me as I was the only person who wasn't fluent in Spanish.
The Iguazzu falls Itself Was Fantastic: However, this trip does Not Really need a viator Type Travel group To go With. You just need transpo from Your hotel to Falls.once You get there you don’t Realty need A Tour guide. It’s all pretty much self Explanatory. To think I paid US$100 + a ride To and from The Falls. Our tour guide even lost us as He did Not Give good Instructions for Us.
Iguazu itself was fantastc and guide was very helpful although being in a large group slowed down the border crossings.
Wonderful activity eventhough it was raining and a little foggy. The tour guide did a great job of giving information in both english and spanish.
The Brazilian side of the falls are impressive! The return was a little stressful because we arrived back at our hotel at 2 pm, not the stated 12:30pm, and we had to catch a flight that afternoon.
Well priced tour of Brazilian side. Unfortunately they go in the morning and that's when biggest crowds are. You only have 1hr 45min to see the falls. It is barely enough time to absorb as you fight crowds. Considering the border crossing service is included it is still worth it just know it is not the same as going alone. We were also with group of Chinese tourists doing helicopter tour so our guide had to hold their hands on where to go and how to meet up after. I don't like being on someone else schedule. My recommendation is to filter tourists who are only going to falls.
Booked this tour and was extremely disappointed. Operated by the bus company and your company desperately. Bus company confirmed our drop off point and that's it. Zero communication from either side and no response to messages confirming a time. Went to get picked up at time stated on tour and a bus came by at that time and said it was for us. Half hour later heard from the tour company for the first time asking where we were. Turns out it wasn't our bus. Tour went on without us. Asked for refund, tour company sent us to bus company, bus company is silent. The might be good but we have no idea. Terrible communication. Just go do the Brazil side yourself. It's an easy process and cheaper.
Mirian ia the best guide you could find. Very knowledgeable and attentive. The sight of the falls is amazing and the place is clean and very organized.
Sadly, I was never picked up or contacted about any changes. Understand it can happen, but an apology would have been the least I would expect.
Brezilian side of Iguazu falls was marvellous. You can view almost all the falls on Argentinian side The tour was very good. Everything worked as claimed. The guide was very kind person and explained everything and answered all the guestlons.
I was the only English speaker in the group. The tour guide eventually stopped translating for me. The driver went very slowly the entire time. We waited for an hour at the Brazil border. Once we got to the trail, the guide gave very vague instructions on where to meet afterwards, and did not leave time to get food. A few people were late, and the group was forced to wait half an hour for the guide to find them--the guide, for some reason, did not just call them on the phone.
There are lots to see on this single trail that does not require a lot of walking. Prepare to get wet at the very end under devils throat’s but worth it. My only qualm is not given enough time by the tour to stay longer.
A convenient way to get from Iguazu Town in Argentina to visit the Brazilian side of the falls. No hassle at the border as the guide takes care of everything. We were picked up from our hotel and had an enjoyable day out, the guide gave us plenty of information on the trip to the falls, and clear instructions of where and when to rejoin the bus allowing us time to go at our own pace whilst viewing the falls which suited us.
Worth the price, it basically was transportation from hotel, crossing the boarding through customs & then a drop off/pickup for our walk through Iguazu falls. So we could enjoy the walk and take pictures at our own pace.
It was an enjoyable visit to the Brazilian side of the falls on a leisurely walk and did not feel rushed.
Well organized pick up and return. Clear information about what we would be seeing, doing etc. Great views of the waterfall.
Great experience. Worth booking. Great tour guide Florence. Gave history and recommendations for restaurants and safety.
Great tour and such an awesome guide. Timely, worth the price and such an adventurous day. Got a great view of the falls
I booked this tour as it was advertised as starting at 1.30pm however when I arrived to my hostel I was informed that the tours only run in the morning so I could not go on this tour. I would therefore like a full refund as it was falsely advertised.
...you should do it on the Brazil side instead of the Argentina side, as the Brazil side has a funicular leading to/fro the river, whereas the Argentina side is (quote) a bit more physically challenging.
tl;dr This is a no hassle, nothing to worry about tour. If you want to save some bucks and don't have an issue figuring out public transportation the tour isn't needed though. Hotel pick-up was right on time and after some additional pick-ups we were on our way towards Brazil. The guide handled all boarder paper work and we had nothing to do but wait in our comfy ACed bus. At the park entrance everybody got out of the bus and had to purchase a park ticket (19.5 USD). Once everybody had their ticket we got back into our bus within the park and made our way to the walking path. Their we were left loose with some brief words about how to follow the path and when/where to meet at the end. As it was a holiday the path was clogged and full of people, but it has breath-taking views and a must-see when in the area. When everybody completed the path we got back into the bus and were ready to return. There was an option offered to visit Parque das Aves (1000 ARS) or to go back to Puerto Iguazu. I opted for Parque das Aves, which I did like (a lot of exotic birds with the highlight the huge Macaw aviarium). But I found the time I had to spend there too long. We were dropped there around 12:30 and pick up was at 16:00 - while you can complete the park in an hour or hour and a half. A minus of this park was the Ikea-style one-way routing through it. Given that I had far too much time too kill it would have been nice to just start over and walk through it again, but there was no open way to the beginning. Pick up at 4 was on time again and we returned to Puerto Iguazu. Again, a no worries, everything is cared for border crossing. In summary, you mainly pay for transportation and for nothing to worry at the border crossing. The actual visits aren't guided and there isn't really much the guide is telling or explaining other than logistics. Given that the Brazil side of the falls and Parque das Aves each only fill a couple of hours you should consider tackling this using public transportation (I met a person doing that and while more adventurous, it wasn't a problem either).
Collected on time in a very comfortable car. Had an excellent guide who was friendly, professional and spoke very good English. Helped by guide at the Argentinian and Brazilian border crossing. Enjoyed the walk to the falls (very impressive) and had a good journey back to our hotel. Recommend this trip.
We had a nice time at the park (it's definitely a must to go to the Brazilian side, the views are incredible!) but the organization for this tour could have been much better. We had to have our hotel call the tour company late the night before to confirm the pick up time, as they still hadn't informed them (even though it said 24 hours before). Our guide was nice and we got a good amount of free time, but instructions were not clear on when and where we would meet up with him. There were also several unexpected stops on the way back, which was nerve-wracking as we left very late and had to catch our flight. I would say make sure you are flexible with your time when booking this (we originally thought we would get back at 11:30am and didn't get back until after 2:30pm) and double check with the tour guide on logistics before you go off to explore the park. Going on a tour definitely saved a lot of time and hassle though with figuring out transportation and immigration, so it's worth it!
The guide is very competent is organised, really important when you need to cross the border. Brazilian side of the falls are equally amazing as the Argentina side but it's different so it's really interesting to visit both sides.
Awesome, grand and so panoramic of the view of the fall from the Brazillian side. Very well cosntructed path that best shows the view to see the falls. Many best spots to take just georgous photos.
Pick up was on time. I had to email them (Grey Line) many times to confirm they would pick me up at my hotel since it wasn't on their list. I was the only non-native Spanish speaker so the guide spoke in Spanish the entire time, which was fine, since I am fluent. She was very knowledgeable and gave good information as we crossed the border and arrived at the Brazilian side of the falls. After that, we were dropped off and left on our own, told to return to the bus in 2 hours or so. That was fine, since the falls are best explored on your own. Basically you are paying for a bus to pick you up in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina, and take you to the Brazilian side. If you don't want to try and figure out how to do it on your own (which you can), it's worth spending the extra $.
We found the Brazilian side of the falls to be more interesting than the Argentinian side. here you are looking up at the Falls, not down, and it is a different perspective, Good guide and good infrastructure.
We booked this tour from the Argentinian side where we were at a hotel. Seems like most of the actual tours are jobbed out to smaller tour companies and guides. Our guide was knowledgeable, tour was mostly transportation to the falls and back and advice on where to buy tickets and how to follow the path. Since we did not have transportation this seemed like a good way to get there and back. The tour bus stops at both border crossing on the way there and back and the tour guide takes your passports to the customs booth and brings them back stamped so no need to get out of the bus and no hassle. I have seen some reviews where people have said they have seen any one side of the falls. To really experience this I would recommend seeing the falls from both sides for different perspectives. The Brazil side is about 1.5km walk/trail starting from where you get off the coach to where the coach will pick you up. The start point has a vista view of the falls and as you move down you get closer and closer till the final point is where you can walk to the base of the falls which you cannot do from the Argentina side. These falls are spectacular and having been to Niagara several times, these are much larger/wider and more natural. You will 100% get wet if you go to the foot of the falls so either bring a poncho or but one where you get your tickets. When you finish with the falls there is a elevator that takes you back up to the road. Some great pictures at that point and also a gift store, washrooms and snacks.
I had half a day to kill during a conference in FOZ - Brasilein side so I booked this tour on GetYourGuide. I was contacted by the head office right away with practical information and eventual changes. (I booked an English tour but as there was no other for the day Iw as asked if I would like to join a Spainsh tour witch I did) I was picked up by our tour guide (Maria I think...I am soory to have forgotten the name as she was absolutely lovely and fun to have around), together with a mexican and a Spanish. Our tour guide was as lovely and as full of information as they come. We had a great time and enjoyed her company a lot. She offered a lot of information not only on the waterfalls but also on the differences between the two sides as well as the fauna😊. Excellent way to spend the day. Highly recommended.

To truly experience these falls you need to see both sides. Brazil is looking at it while Argentina is being in it. The tour itself, like the other side, was heavy on Spanish

Great opportunity to see the spectacular Brazilian side of the falls - be prepared to get wet! Make sure you get the real local operator's name from Viator. We were given Gray Line Tours which doesn't operate in Iguassu but uses a local operator. The front desk staff at our hotel helped us figure out who would be picking us up and at what time. Viator/TripAdvisor should know better!

WE did this with Gray Line AR. Pick up hotel was on time. Meriam, our tour guide did a good job in facilitating the legalities with the Argentinian border. We signed up for the English tour, but Spanish-speaking tourists made up the bulk of tourists in our bus. So Meriam had to speak in Spanish at length, and in English relatively shorter. On our way home, Meriam led us to a Cuenca Office, trying to get a driver to drop us off to our hotel. As we were sitting in the reception area, we were hoping that Meriam would tell us about the driver. We were surprised to see her leaving the area without saying a word or anything. That was odd, if not, rude!

Another amazing day at the Iguazu Waterfalls but a different perspective from the previous day to complete the picture for us. We had the same guide as the previous day Miguel. He expertly guided us through the immigration procedures at both the Argentinian and Brazilian borders on the way there and back. He had excellent English and was able to share his years of experience and expertise about the park and the area. Because they had arranged a Brazilian Bus for us we were able to stay on our tour bus for the day rather than transfer to the Park Bus. It was less strenuous activity than the Argentinian Park but the views were just as awesome and completely different. So pleased we chose to do both sides of the Falls. Thank you Miguel for 2 fabulous days. Very enjoyable.

Our guide, Manuel, was fantastic. Lots of information, guided us on the paths of the falls and had a great smile and personality. If you are on the Argentina side of the falls this trip makes your life so much easier. The guide takes care of the papoerwork for the crossing, you never leave the comfortable bus. Also tour busses get preference at the borders. There was a long line in both directions for cars.

Everything was very well planned, the friendly guide helped us with our next plane back to Buenos Aires.
The tour is worth it and you don't have to think about time, luggage or passport, all is done for you. The views are amazing! I recommend as well doing the Argentinian side the day before.

We were told this half day tour would have us back at the hotel by lunchtime which suited us fine as we were flying out that afternoon. Then we found, the day before, that the tour would stop for lunch on the Brazilian side and would not get back until 2.20pm. so we had to abandon the trip which we had paid for and never did get to see the Brazilian side of the falls. Very, very disappointing.

Tour was good and got to see what it said. Lunch was also good. I was the only English speaker on the tour but I was used to that by this stage of my trip!

This half day tour from the Brazilian side is very worth it ! As you will see the iguazu falls from another panoramic angle. And one is able to capture everything from the Brazilian side from this half day tour.

It's not ok to state that this tour is in English since the guide did not speak English! Waste of time and money, it would have been much better to take a taxi and go there by oneself!

The Brazilian side is definitely worth it. However the trip no English lasts much longer than the 4 hour estimation. It was more like 8! Also we were forced to stop for the people doing the helicopter tour and a wildlife park. We stopped 4 buffet lunch (180 pesos per person not including drinks.

Easy way to get to Brazil with a guide and organised tour. Enjoyable afternoon with spectacular views.

The experience was amazing. Our tour guide was helpful and spoke good English. The only down side was waiting in the intense heat and time wasted for well over an hour for a couple that did not meet back at the required.

Pickup at hotel was on time and guides were very nice and helpful during all the trip, specially getting through customs and the visit to the Brazilian side was fantastic.

It was a mess, we went from bus to bus, and everyone was running late. The bus was having problems with its a/c so we didn't have a/c the whole time. The falls were gorgeous but getting there was a problem.

I loved the Brazilian side of the Falls - not as extensive as the Argentinian side but great views and the walkway out over the waterfall was great fun. You get an hour or so to make your way round, then you're taken for what feels like a compulsory lunch - no option to do anything else as it's on a busy roadway.
Worth doing but be warned - this tour is not the four hours stated but closer to a full day. If you have onward travel plans it might be a problem. I did but the tour guide Marco was very helpful at getting me back on time.

I think this is a very good value for money. The timing is perfect as well- you won't need more than three hours to see the all angles through the designated platforms...and that is walking leisurely whilst trying to spot some wild life...I was lucky to see a couple of capuchin monkeys, a reptile that looks like iguana and various multi-coloured butterflies.
Advise though, bring a raincoat and something to cover your phone...on Devil's throat platform, it's more than a mist- it's more like a proper rain and you'll get drenched! it was fun but not if it will break your electronics.
Overall, I highly recommend this trip...

While Iguazu Falls itself was obviously AMAZING, my experience on this tour was not as I had hoped. I had booked an English speaking tour, however was the only person on the tour of around 20-25 people who spoke English as a first language. Most of the group were native Spanish speakers. I don't mind everything being spoken in Spanish and then English, however, it made it quite uncomfortable for me having a group lunch together in a restaurant when I couldn't join in on the conversation everyone else was having.
I was also advised on the website and again when I called up, that we would be back at our hotels at 1pm. When it was obvious that we were not going to get back on time I was told by the guide that we would be back around 3:30 or 4. I had a plane to catch at 3:30 so ended up having to leave the tour group and rush my way back to my hotel in order to get my plane on time. I understand this tour was cheap, but I feel that better communication about the tour would have helped before I signed up.

WORST tour ever!!! It was suppose to be a half day tour and it went longer than our full day tour!! Again english was the forgetten language, as we were the only english speaking people they didnt really care. We were also made to go to a buffett lunch and then duty fre shopping, very annoyed as we had other things booked for the afternoon and missed them because we were forced to things such as the lunch and duty free "or make our own way back by paying for a taxi".
I sent an email following this tour to express our disappointment and still waiting a repsonse
Overall wouldnt book with Viator again
