Hotel is nice but definitely has room for improvement. You cannot tip anyone using a room charge as you would at nearly any other hotel restaurant worldwide. To that end, the hotel does not have an ATM either. Closest one is 3km away. Why would management do this to their staff by making it so difficult for the guests to pay them??? My room had great view but from the moment I opened the door I had a very pungent mold smell. Enough to trigger allergies. I was told it was normal, but the rest of the hotel did not smell that way, so not sure about that answer.

Unfortunately I wanted to like this hotel more than I did. It has a beautiful lobby and nice location but it’s more of a 4 star or good 3 star hotel than 5 stars. The good - Beautiful location and lobby - Dinner (not included) was consistently good (though European prices) - Service was generally good and efficient, with very welcoming reception and transfer staff (special mention to Ivan who drove us twice during our stay - he is an asset to the hotel) - Comfortable beds The bad - The breakfast was not 5 stars. It had limited supply and some items weren’t great (cereals over dried, no specialty coffee, limited amount of juice) and tables weren’t cleaned fast enough (probably lack of staff) - The room needed some TLC in areas, no sleepers or robes were provided and no bottles of water (water only available if you walked to reception and had your own bottle…not very convenient or 5 stars) - We found rust inside our kettle (good thing we looked before we used it) and the bathroom door was warped and had green residue from likely overflowing water from a previous stay - The swimming pool was not clean (it’s the beginning of winter so unlikely many will use it, but still you’d expect more from a “5 stars”) - Transfer prices were steep, even when considering the bigger cars - We had a cot in our room for our baby but this was dangerously put together, as the mattress was too small for the cot and there was a big gap between them (suffocation risk) Overall it was ok. If they were to market themselves as a 3-4 star hotel I would have been probably happier with my stay, but as a 5 star it’s lacking in some of its standards
The drive to the hotel through the forest is beautiful, and the hotel itself is like a shell hidden in the greenery. We were grateful for the early check-in and the warm welcome from the staff. Our room smelled amazing and had a lovely view of the jungle and pool. It was clean, cozy, and perfectly air-conditioned. Do not miss the massage! It was one of the most professional experiences I've had. Great breakfast, excellent location near the attractions, and a very fresh vibe overall. We loved it!
The hotel is surrounded by forest, and the environment is beautiful with plenty of fresh air. The staff are kind and very friendly. The pool is stunning, and the rooms are spacious. However, I have to say the rooms feel quite outdated and could use renovation. That said, they are still clean and well maintained. The shower pressure is also a bit low. Overall, it’s a nice place for a short stay of one or two days, and I had a pleasant stay.
Fantastic stay, especially thanks to the poolside experience! Exequiel’s drink service by the pool bar was incredible. He knows how to make a Pina Colada! Front desk staff were lovely, however they could be a little bit more knowledgeable on the Iguazu National Park, given that is what most guests come here for. The breakfast service could also be a bit more in keeping with a five star hotel in terms of offering and cleanliness there were a lot of crumbs left on the seats and flies by food! All in all, still had a fab time thanks to Exequiel!
