Soar Above The Wonder: Helicopter Flight Over Iguassu Falls

Nothing could have gone better! Our pickup was only 5 minutes behind schedule, even after waiting for a no-show who hadn't bothered cancelling, before picking us up. As it was we were early enough that we could stop for a coffee on the way and still be there in time for the second flight of the day. Our guide Antonio was brilliant, he sorted the border crossings for us, in both directions, and the flight tickets as well as providing a great running commentary throughout. The flight itself gave us the most spectacular views of the falls and seemed much longer than the 12-15 minutes that it actually was. They even arranged for a magnificent sunny day, with almost no wind!

Do yourself a favour and stay away from booking on this platform!!! Better go there yourself and save a lot of money and yourself from a lot of hassle!! We booked the flight for two people for a horrendous sum of money - for max. capacity of 4 in the helicopter. When we got there even the company was shocked how much we paid for something THEY DO NOT EVEN OFFER!!! Thing is, you get there and get in line and whatever helicopter with whatever number of persons is next you will be on it! They DO NOT OFFER flights with a max. capacity of 4, only one price for a flight, that`s it. You will be much cheaper going there yourself and just book a flight directly!!!

First to be seated on thé front And to fly on the forest ans discover step by step the falls. A life memories indeed!!

Nice flight for 10 minutes ofer the Iguazu falls from the brasilian Side. Took some really nice Fotos. 3 Times ofer the falls so enought time for Fotos from different angles. Nice Driver came to the hotel to Pick ne Up and told ne a Lot of Infos

While booking the tour the only time available is 8am or 7:30am, giving the impression that the tour will be over by around 9am giving you the rest of the day to leisurely explore the falls or any other activity. Had to wake up by 6am to be ready for the hotel pickup. I was picked up in big bus which after several long stops delivered me to the heliport by 9:30am. At the heliport they said they dont reserve by time. People just drop in buy tickets and they get on the tour in the order they arrived. At 9:30am there 70 people in queue. Also at the heliport the tour costs around $110. I did not take the tour I purchased on Viator. You are better off taking an Uber to the heliport and buying tickets there. This page is not allowing 0 stars, so have to give it one star.

10 minute around the falls, most time getting there and back. Around 1700/1800 feet so not too near falls. On return they offer for around $us40.00 a USB stick & photos of your experience, 20 seconds of you getting on helicopter and that’s it. Complete rip off.

Flight was a bit too crowded and if you're seated in the middle, you are unable to take pictures. Helicopter was very nice and pilot very good, but flight not long enough and visually not great. Felt like we were rushed in and out. Not a very personable experience..

We were advised by friends that the helicopter ride over the Iguaçu Falls is a MUST. We followed the advice and dutifully paid an overpriced fee each for what we assumed would be one of the highlights of our trip to this beautiful part of the world. Disappointed and disgusted are just two of the adjectives to describe this over rated “adventure”. Excluding the pilot the helicopter takes four passengers. The front seat beside the pilot gives a great view of the Falls. Unfortunately I was placed in the back seat between two men, one who was very very large. I shared half of the back seat with the third gentleman, I sat behind a structural post approximately six inches in width and saw very little of the Falls. Fortunately, I say fortunately because I was so uncomfortable, the trip is EXACTLY ten minutes long from go to woe, the ten minutes includes take off and landing! Our pilot did not acknowledge or speak to any of us in any way for the short trip, he reminded me of a robot, he was so bored with his job. Ten minutes up and back, repeat ten minutes up and back and so his day wore on. My advice to this company, instead of being so greedy placing four people for each trip, if you must, charge a little more (how you can justify charging more I don’t know) and take only three guests per trip. <p>Stay away from this disaster. You can purchase the tour at Helisur at the Falls gate for 130 USD. Drive yourself there or cab it, don't pay over 200 USD for a car ride you may not get. this was a rip off at it's best. The helicopter ride is too short and you're lucky to get one good picture.</p>

<p>The best helicopter experience one can take part in and do for an excursion! This was simply awesome to see from up above and I loved every minute of it! You got to do this one if you go to The 7 Wonder of The World, it's a must by helicopter!</p>

<p>The helicopter , bird park and entry to Iguazu Falls Park are all within 200m of each other.<br/> We had the helicopter transfer from hotel to the helicopter location included in our ticket price and this worked very well.<br/> However be aware that the pick up drops you at the helicopter park and then you are issued with a number for your position in the queue to get into the helicopter. We were there early in the morning and not on a busy day so we had a short wait for our turn. I am not sure if this would always be the situation. The waiting area is air conditioned with a shop and small cafe.<br/> the flight was about 10 minutes but that gave a couple of circles over the falls so that both sides of the helicopter had very good views of the falls.<br/> Across the road is the Bird park.</p>

<p>The helicopter flight was amazing, it was an experience of the lifetime to see the mighty Iguassu Falls from high above. It really gives a totally different perspective of the falls. The people who came to pic us up were very nice and friendly, they drop us off to the entrance of the Brazilian side of the falls upon our request and showed us how to get back to the Argentinian side.</p>

<p>Such an awesome experience. You can see both sides of falls from the helicopter. Highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience.</p>

<p>I mean what can I say about this awesome event and tour. A helicopter ride above Iguassu Falls speaks for itself! I had some great pictures and truly had lifetime experience doing this particular tour. It's expensive for the time your in the air, but you will come out with some to die for pictures afterwards!</p>

<p>Thought the 10 minute helicoper ride would be 10 minutes over the falls. Not so, the 10 minutes included getting there and returning. Therefore we had about 2 or 3 minutes over the actual falls. Would I do this again NO NO NO</p>

A MUST when you arrive in this magic place!</p> <p>After the helicopter Tour, you can choose to visit their Birds Park or take a walk in the National Park along the falls, both located at the same place.</p> <p>Little minus, there is no drop off back to the hotel included. Arrive on the site with some cash as you will need to return on your own with a local taxi, which for that matter are totally overpriced!!!</p>

<p>There really is no reason to buy a ticket on-line because you will still have to go to the place and redeem it for an actual ticket. I bought the ticket for the next day and no one called or left a message at my hotel. At 10am on the day of the flight I got a call saying I needed to be at the park entrance at 10am! or I could reserve for 1pm and since it was at least a 15 minute drive to the gate (stayed at the Belmond) I said ok to the 1pm flight but I was told not to be late! It was a busy day at the helicopter place and we ended up standing in line for 45 minutes after we got the ticket (there was no such thing as an actual reservation so I don't know what the 1pm deadline was all about). I was also not aware that the helicopter place was right in front of the Iguazu gate entrance so the transportation that I paid extra for consisted of a van driving less than two blocks - after the helicopter ride I told the driver to not even bother picking me up (the driver btw was very friendly and professional). Also you should know that they don't fly when it is excessively cloudy or there is rain as visibility of the falls is poor. That means when the rains stop, there are lots of people waiting in line - I counted at least 50 people - and that means that you are kind of shuttled through like cattle. All this said the views are amazing and well worth doing - just not on-line.</p>

<p>An excellent tour - pilot ensured both sides of the aircraft were given viewing access to the falls scene by turning and flying back in the opposite direction on two occasions.</p>

<p>It was somehow expected but still absolutely thrilling experience. Hard to reccommend , which time of the day is the best, but prepare for some lines at the site anyway. After lift-off you will have 10 minutes with superb views. They try to sell you DVD after this whole thing, worth those dollars, as this contains more than just your own trip video. Try to get to first row- they prefer women, though:)</p>

Photos and videos made for the team at a fair price. We bought everything on time It is in front of the bird park , we enjoy and visit . We love it.

Brilliant excursion done in Foz do Iguacu (Brazilian side) price of 430 reais x person. Unmatched cataract dresses. Totally recommended not to miss. 100% guaranteed.

We left the helipad not very sure what we were going to see but it was a pleasant flight and the view of Iguazu Falls was spectacular, majestic, intimidating, I would do it again

Accueil sympathique à terre, bonne préparation au vol, pas d'attente, un pilote surdoué et presque 1/4 d'heure de pur bonheur à survoler les chutes. Il faut impérativement faire ce survol pour ensuite apprécier les circuits piétons. Un grand merci

Der Flug ist zwar kurz, aber etwas, das man machen muss! Leider wurden wir kurzfristig auf einen größeren Hubschrauber umgebucht und saßen dann in der hinteren Reihe in der Mitte, ohne direkte Fensternähe. Aber die Flugmanöver des Piloten ( nichts für schwache Nerven) haben uns dann für die eingeschränkte Sicht entschädigt. Wir fanden das lustig!

<p>Je déconseille ce tour, le rapport qualité/prix est exécrable. Le vol a en fait duré moins de dix minutes 7, ce qui fait 30 de moins. On voit les chute deux fois. Chacune moins de 30 secondes, bien trop peu pour apprécier et photographier. Le vol a finalement que très peu d'intérêt. C'est une grosse déception.</p>
