On this 4-hour tour, you will visit the world’s largest hydroelectric dam. It starts at the reception centre, where we can watch an audio-visual presentation about the dam and its power station. Following the presentation, we'll go to visit the dam itself. The barrier is 8 km wide and consists of 20 turbines running at a capacity of 14MW. This impressive civil engineering project crosses the Paraná River: the 7th largest river in the world. It was built by the Brazilian and Paraguayan governments and supplies water to 10 different states in Brazil and Paraguay.
