Our tour guide, Sidnei, was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable about the Falls, plants, animals, and the region. He spoke excellent English and made sure our experience was tailored to our interests. There are 3 generations of tour guide experts in Sidnei’s family. The Falls were spectacular - certainly worth the rating of one of the 7 wonders of the world. The many unique types of butterflies, birds, and flowers were amazing and beautiful. We have the good fortune to travel to many places around the world and this rates as one of my favorites! 🇧🇷🇦🇷🇺🇸

Day 1
1
The Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls offers the most complete and breathtaking panoramic views. This side can be explored in just a few hours during the morning, making it perfect for a half-day visit. There is a single, well-marked trail that leads you through several scenic viewpoints and ends at the awe-inspiring Devil's Throat. Along the way, youll enjoy stunning vistas of the falls from different angles, and the trail culminates at a walkway that brings you incredibly close to the powerful cascades - an unforgettable highlight included with your standard park ticket. To top it off, a glass elevator takes you to an upper viewing deck, offering one last spectacular view of this natural wonder.
Day 2
2
Argentine Side Tour – Approx. 5 to 6 Hours. The tour of the Argentinean side of Iguazú Falls takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and is divided into three main trails, each offering a unique perspective of this natural wonder. 1-The main highlight of the Argentine park is the spectacular Devil’s Throat. To reach it, visitors board the Ecological Jungle Train, which travels through the lush rainforest and along the river. You’ll disembark at Devil’s Throat Station, where a flat, accessible catwalk leads to viewing balconies right on the edge of the tallest and most powerful waterfalls. 2-This Upper trail offers panoramic views of several waterfalls from above, providing an impressive overview of the falls and surrounding river. 3-The Lower Circuit is a network of elevated walkways winding through the jungle, offering a more immersive experience. Along the way, you'll find several balconies and viewpoints that bring you closer to the base of the waterfalls.

Absolutely fantastic experience- the waterfalls are spectacular and you must see from both countries for the total perspective. I’d recommend doing the boat trip too though prepare to get wet. A must do experience. Our guide- Sidnei - was superb just the right level of help and information. Without him we’d have been stuck in the lines. Overall one of the best things I’ve done.
We had the “2 days Private Iguazu waterfalls: Brazil & Argentina” tour with Sidnei. He was a wonderful guide, very experienced with little reminders and arrangements here and there that made the world of difference. Just enough (not too much) information based on your level of interest. Good pointers for beat pictures, and steps in at the right moment to take pictures for you, and never intrusive. We sometimes take group tours, but think this private tour is good value, and well worth the extra. Sidnei was very flexible to work with our schedule and pickup/dropoff points. Most highly recommend.

Leandro was a wonderful guide and made our visit to Iguazu Falls easy and stress free. He was a good communicator and well informed about the area, and local birds and animals. It was great to have priority access that having a guide enabled. We highly recommend this tour.
Excellent guide. Well organised. Even got a side quest to Paraguay. Thanks Sidnei
We are STILL talking about this tour and how amazing it was! Eduardo was our guide, and he was absolutely the best. He was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and somehow managed to feel like part of our group from the very beginning. Not only did he provide a fantastic tour, but he also went above and beyond to help us make the most of our entire experience. His recommendations, attention to detail, and genuine care ensured that we got the most out of our time there. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we can't recommend Eduardo and this tour highly enough!
Absolutely amazing! We were able to see the Argentina side on our full day and do the Brazil side before our flight the following day before the park opened. Just fabulously done.
Iguazu Falls were spectacular. We expected a group of over 10 people on the tour, but it was only my wife and I. Sidnei was an excellent tour guide.
We booked a 2 day private tour with Sid(nei) and had a fantastic experience. First day was Argentina, second day Brasil. Sid was very flexible and accommodating. His knowledge of all the trails, the history, the animals and birds is excellent. And he also offered to take us on our Brasil day into the park 90 mins before official opening. We took up the offer. Great decision as we had the walkways almost to ourselves. Just stunning. Cannot speak highly enough of this tour!
An amazing two days with the excellent Sid (Sidnei) as our guide. Fully flexible and tailor made, he also gave us early access to the park on the Brasil side 90 mins before the park opened. Expensive but well worth it!
A fantastic experience with excellent guides who looked after us very well. They were very informative and made sure that we were able to avoid the queues. We would recommend this tour to anyone.
2 of us were given 2 day tours with Eduardo who is a third generation tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, responsive, relaxed, enthusiastic about the 2 countries and the falls, and a superb driver. He made the tours of Iguasu Falls a fabulous experience for us!
Sidnei was a very experienced and helpful guide. He enabled us to visit the Brazilian side of the park earlier so we had practically no one there! He was very knowledgable and shared many facts about the national park. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with him and would really recommend booking with Sidnei! He was patient throughout and offered customisation of the tour (for example we got dropped to a lunch place on our second day at our request).
Our guide Eduardo was great - personable and knowledgeable. He took care of every detail for us and made the two days very enjoyable. Seeing the falls from both Brazil and Argentina was amazing. The itinerary was flexible. Communication with Sidnei in the days/weeks prior to our tour was excellent. Highly recommend!
An amazing and emotional experience. The Falls are spectacular, we couldn't fault the experience. Our Guide Leandro was always on time, always polite, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our time in Brazil so memorable and see you when we come back.
Seeing both side of the falls are a must! Having Sidnei taking care of all the border crossing paperwork was the easiest way to do it.
If you’re going to Iguazu, do yourself a favour and go with Douglas and the team. He didn’t just guide me through the falls, he created a seamless, and immersive experience from start to finish. Thethree things that truly set this tour apart for me: 1. Exceptional pacing & positioning - Douglas knew all the viewpoints at exactly the right moments. He knew how to avoid the unnecessary crowds, and showcase the falls in their full power and beauty 2. Outstanding depth of knowledge - Douglas is warm, clear, and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the geography, history, and ecosystem in a way that deepens the experience without overwhelming it. 3. The thoughtful and personal touches - great guidance, constant check-ins, smooth transitions, and a relaxed, confident energy throughout made this truly remarkable. He knew when to lead and when to step away to give you those deep reflective moments that make the falls life-changing. I’ve seen many iconic natural wonders around the world, and this experience stands out. If you want to experience Iguazu Falls with clarity, care, and their true sense of scale, Douglas and the team are the guides to book.
Our guide Eduardo was excellent. His English was very good, he was quite knowledgeable, and he was a very good driver. Both sides of the falls were breathtaking. This side trip was the highlight of our vacation in South America.
We had an amazing experience touring Iguazú Falls on both the Argentina and Brazil sides with Douglas. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Douglas explained the history, wildlife, and geography of the falls in a clear and engaging way, and he knew exactly where and when to go to avoid crowds and get the best views. Crossing the border between Argentina and Brazil was effortless thanks to his organization and experience. He was also very attentive to our needs and pace, making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and highly recommend Douglas to anyone visiting Iguazú Falls.
Eduardo was our guide. He was knowledgeable, his English was perfect, and he made sure we were enjoying all aspects of the tour
A great way of seeing both sides of the falls, in a manageable couple of days, with personal, local advice and expertise, in comfortable transportation. Eduardo was very friendly, informative and so helpful. His arrival times were advised in advance and he was punctual. We visited the Brazil side of the falls on the first day, and ended the first day with a visit to the Bird Park. The latter involved extra time for car and driver and so cost $10 each. On day 2 we walked the three trails on the Argentine side of the falls, after which Eduardo dropped us at the airport on the Argentine side. Great service, and well-chosen times and routes to minimise queuing. As to the Falls themselves, wow! No words effectively describe the beauty and grandeur. As Eduardo said: having seen Iguacu, you won't now need to waste money going to see Niagara or Victoria!! A strongly recommended, professionally run tour!
Amazing tour. We had the pleasure of having Fernando as our guide for our 2 days private tour. He was wonderful, punctual, easy to communicate. Everything was well thought out and organized. Our entire journey was very smooth. He was with us throughout the entire time but also allowed us to enjoy the trip on our own when it was appropriate and at our pace. We did the boat ride on the Argentina side which is a must do if you have the time. Just be prepared to get soaked completely from top to bottom. We highly recommend the tour with no hesitation. You will not be disappointed. We enjoyed our tour very much and thank you Fernando for a fabulous experience.

Douglas was our guide for two days. He picked us up from our hotel in Brazil at Fos de Iguazú. On meeting us, he was really informative about the two days ahead. Enquiring what additional options we would like to add to our trip. The trips that we had our passports and deet spray. And overall, he was really helpful and thoughtful from the off. Day 1 My first day was in the Brazilian side. Douglas insured that we knew what was happening throughout the trip, linking us in with the guides on site. He talked through the optional boat trip. With a dry and a wet version available. On his advice we booked up the wet boat trip in addition which he organised for us. This was a great choice. We had an amazing time. And I highly recommend to his next guests. Prior to second part of the trip, Douglas directed us to our chosen lunch spot, with views of the falls (and a Coati guest to my wife’s delight). Whilst we had time to ourselves, he was repositioning the car to ensure that our journey was made easy at the end of the day. Always had customer care at the forefront of his mind. The views of the falls are stunning, Douglas returned to us prior to our departure to guide us along the upcoming paths. He advised when we needed our ponchos (make sure you have these packed) before giving us the time we wanted Day 2 Collected from the hotel again, again he was thoughtful in checking we had relevant items and documentation. Offering assistance with booking the tickets needed for the next park. Another amazing experience, wandering through the Argentinian side of the park. We had views of where we had been the day before. And Douglas organised the day to ensure that the views just got better as the day went on. A very experienced and knowledgeable guide who will make your trip as wonderful as ours. Douglas was an amazing guide over the last two days. Both professional and friendly throughout. And a great member of the SCA Falls team. He was never pushy for time. Always gave us space where he recognised we would want it. And was on hand to talk us through the local wildlife and cataratas when we needed him. He has taught us so much, so thanks for reading and book yourselves for him to pass on his knowledge onto the next couple/group. Thank you, and hopefully see you on another future visit.
Both sides of Iguazú are unique and wonderful, and of course you’ll be crossing borders to see both sides. Eduardo picked us up right on time from our hotel each morning, and navigating the border crossing via taxi would have been a mess. He also had all of the entry logistics nailed, and having a guide enabled line skipping. Nice new vehicle and very engaging personality. 2 day tour is also great because by day two he knew our personal preferences and travel style. Questions answered on the spot, side stops for various things along the way- perfect. Eduardo is a 3rd generation tour guide… we met his father in the park along the way. Great memories made.
Great experience! We came to Iguazu unprepared and book this tour in a very last minute. But Sidnei and Eduardo did everything for us - we've been to the bird parque, helicopter flight, boat tour (and as we didn't have spare clothes, Sidnei organized a "dry boat" for us), and brazilian side of the falls. Another day was excellent walk throughout all three argentinian pathways and airport transfer. Without theirs care and experience we couldn't have done a half of that activities because of the long queues and lack of Spanish. Thank you Eugenie and Dmitri

The owner of SCA, Sidnei, contacted us the night before our first day and told us to meet Pedro for a tour of the Argentine side. We powered through the day and had a fun time exploring. Pedro was so informative! I was disappointed to learn from Pedro that the information I sent along with the reservation didn't make it to him. He was a great fit for us, but it was actually a coincidence... I was excited about our second day with him but was later disappointed because towards the end of the day, Pedro told us he was not with us the next day. I wrote to Sidnei and asked for information from him about the second day... because our flight left the next afternoon. That's when he told us the second day would only be an hour and a half or two hours max?!?!? That's not what I expected when it said two days... I didn't have any plans for the rest of the day, and I thought it was lousy to tell me this the night before. Based on how Sidnei spoke to me via text over the disagrement - saying things like I couldn't get my money back even if I wanted to and I should have read the information on the booking, I wasn't interested in meeting him and cancelled the second day.
Our tour with Douglas was absolutely amazing. We spent the first day on the Brazilian side of the falls. Douglas made sure we were warmly welcomed and accommodated all of our needs and requests. His English is excellent and he was thoughtful and skilled as he guided us to the falls. We spent the second day on the Argentinian side and again Douglas was amazing. We navigated seamlessly across the border and with Douglas’ help the day before, we had pre-purchased the park tickets and spent very little time entering the park and getting where we needed to go. Douglas also made sure we used the time wisely to make sure we made the most of our time in the park. As an added bonus, Douglas took great photos. If you are visiting the Cataratas of Foz do Iguaçu, definitely book this tour and ask for Douglas!!
We had a great experience on our tour. We are traveling with a 3 1/2 year old & 20 month old. Our guide was VERY patient, helpful and caring to ensure we all had a good time at a pace that was appropriate. It was a very intimate & fun experience all together & I would highly recommend. 5 stars for many reasons! Highly recommended private tour for parents & singles alike if you want to see the best of the falls.
My husband and I had the privilege of spending two full days on a private tour with our guide Douglas, and we can’t say enough about how exceptional the experience was. From the moment we started, he was warm, open, and incredibly sincere — someone who clearly cares about people just as much as the places they’re showing. Over two days, we got to see not just amazing sights, but also how much depth and knowledge Douglas brings to the experience. He tailored the tour to our pace and interests, answered every question with patience (even when we doubled back and asked again!). He is also very considerate, took care of our backpacks when we were on a soaking wet boat, and arranged to pick us up with his nice car at a perfect timing so we only have to do a minimum amount of walk in the woods, What stood out the most was the honesty and heart he brings to the work — no scripted routine, just real stories, thoughtful insights, and a genuine love for the history and culture being shared. Spending two days with someone can go either way — we are happy to say this went very much the right way. It’s rare to meet someone so honest and grounded, especially in the world of tourism — and it made a real difference. If you’re lucky enough to have Douglas lead your tour, you’re in for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend!
Besides receiving first class service from “Sca Falls Tour”, I wish to commend the attentiveness of our guide Douglas, which went far beyond from expected in securing elevator service and Park’s car ride when needed plus even pushing my wife’s wheelchair on the ramps to get the best possible views of the falls. Obrigado, Douglas!!!
This was a great trip. Each day being divided between each country gives plenty of time to enjoy other things in the afternoon. Every detail was very well planned. Douglas was so kind & knowledgeable. He worked out the details to avoid large crowds, & was very personable. He spoke very good English. He answered all the questions I had. A tour guide can make or break a trip sometimes. Douglas made this a memorable trip to Iguazu. I highly recommend this 2 day experience.
This was a fantastic tour of both sides of the falls. It is so beautiful and the trip was arranged to see so much yet it wasn’t exhausting. Douglas gave us a great tour. He was so kind and knowledgeable. This two day tour was really a highlight of our month long travels. Highly recommended this tour.
If you are looking for a private tour, this company is it. Worth every dollar!! Douglas was amazing. Catered to elderly.
We were very pleased with our private tour with Fernando. His English was excellent and he was very prompt. His car was clean and cool. He went above and beyond to help us find a place to do laundry and gave an excellent recommendation for dinner and made sure they had an English speaking server. He was very patient and well informed about the area. He answered all our questions and was flexible with the schedule. If we return we will go with no one other than Fernando. Outstanding experience!
Our guide Sidnei was great!! Lots of information, kept us ahead of the crowds, planned departure times to avoid LONG car lines. We went to the Argentinian side first and Brazilian side the next day. In the end we realized that was the best choice. One of top 5 destinations we have done. Don't miss this amazing site and DONT miss this excursion!
Lots of walking but worth every step. Our guide, Fernando, took very good care of us and made sure we had the best day - both days!! The Argentinian side was gorgeous - LOTS of walking. The Brazilian side was phenomenal- less walking.
Fantastic way to see both sides of Iguazu Falls in unhurried way. My guide Douglas, was on time and thoughtfully planned each day. We were able to avoid crowds and the heat of the day making the visit totally enjoyable.
Sidney, our guide, spoke English very well and explained lots of history of the area to us. His suggestion was to start really early in the Morning - we were first into both sides of the falls each day! This was a big bonus for taking photos without crowds and as an added bonus we missed the hot weather of the later afternoon. We highly recommend asking for Sidney if you want a wonderful tour.
This was an amazing tour…. Sidnei is such a knowledgable guide and his English is excellent! We covered everything…. Even managed to have a great lunch in Brazil! The falls are just incredible and having Sidney’s knowledge and guidance just made our whole day flow seamlessly and without any worries…. Book this tour, you won’t be disappointed and certainly won’t miss anything! Thank you for a fantastic day Sidnei!
This package excluded a few extra options, such as The Bird Park or a boat ride (wet or dry) but these were sorted once we were on our way. We did the dry boat ride option on the Brazil side. Really worth it! Our guide/driver Douglas was very informative, help and always on time and there to help. But when driving in Argentina he seemed to confuse the 60kmh speed limit with 60mph! We were graced by great weather.
My family visited the Brazilian and Argentina side of Iguazu Falls with Sidnei and very much enjoyed our experience. Our group was a little slower and not as mobile and he was very patient and thoughtful. He gave us great suggestions and made sure that we were able enjoy the sights within our ability. Thank you, Sidnei!
The tour gave a comprehensive view of the falls. Our guide Sidnei Albino speaks excellent English and is knowledgeable both about the park and general conditions in Brasil and Argentina. He gave us excellent recommendations on where to go in the evenings.
This was a true bucket list experience made easy by our guide Sidnei. We got to both falls before the crowds and before the heat of the day which was important for us. A private tour gave us information we would not otherwise have had. Highly recommend!
Indescribable experience and our guide Sidnei was amazing he went above and beyond , his knowledge was fantastic too I would highly recommend him
What a blast! This was a Brazilian-based tour so they arranged for a ride from the Argentinian airport (IGR) and it went very smoothly. We transferred from our pick-up car to our tour guide’s car and quickly crossed the border into Brazil. Our tour guide, Sidnei, was great. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the local flora/fauna and general history of the area. He advised us to start with a boat ride that took us right up to the falls. We opted for the “dry” boat, which is not the popular option (most want to get wet). And bc we wanted to stay dry, we ended up with a private boat to ourselves (i can’t guarantee this will happen for everyone, but we got lucky). It was amazing and I highly recommend it as an add-on. Next Sidnei brought us to the entrance to the main hike. It had breathtaking panoramic views of the falls. It wasn’t particularly long and was pretty easy to complete. He picked us up at the end of the hike and drove us to our hotel in Foz Do Iguaçu with some recommendations for dinner. The next morning we were picked up by Luis, and equally great tour guide, who took us across the border to the Argentinian park. We started with a train ride to the trailhead of the Devil’s Throat hike, which brought us directly over the most powerful part of the falls. What a rush! After returning on the train we opted to do the lower trail as Luis suggested it was a different experience from what we had done already. It was another breathing experience. I should also mention Luis had exceptional knowledge of the area, history, animals in the parks, etc. He was truly fantastic. Then a quick trip back to the airport and we were off back to Buenos Aires. This was an amazing 2-day experience of Iguazu Falls and I can’t recommended it more.
Nelton was a great guide and gave us many information on the park and its animals! We really recommend!
I had a great time on this solo tour with Douglas who was a wonderful guide. I really appreciated not having to worry about so many details and to have a private guide to both sides of the falls. Both sides are unique and I am glad I had two full days, one for each side. There were some weather troubles with the high river, but it was still a great time. Douglas was a great guide and had a lot of information to share about the falls, their history, and the wildlife. Everything was clear. The guide gave me space to enjoy at my own pace. I didn’t feel rushed. Just remember to bring cash, as you really need it more often than you think (for fees, tips, etc.) Highly recommend booking with this company whether you’re solo, a couple, or a small group. Definitely do the boat tour.
