Itinerary
The Brazilian side of the Iguaçu Falls provides stunning panoramic views of the waterfall complex, including the iconic Devil's Throat. While the park is smaller in terms of trails and infrastructure compared to the Argentine side, it offers incredible viewpoints and a more general perspective of the falls. Visitors can walk along short trails and walkways, or opt for the "Macuco Safari" boat tour to get up close to the falls for an immersive experience. The Brazilian side is also known for its rich biodiversity, with a variety of species from the Atlantic Forest, making it a unique experience for nature lovers.
The Argentine side of the park offers wider access and a variety of trails that allow visitors to admire the waterfalls both from above and up close. The famous "Devil's Throat" (Garganta del Diablo), the largest and most impressive of the falls, is located on the border between Brazil and Argentina and is one of the most spectacular views. In addition to this, the Argentine side features several other smaller, yet equally impressive, waterfalls. Besides walking along the trails, visitors can also take boat tours that bring tourists closer to the waterfalls, offering an exciting and refreshing experience. The Argentine side is also known for its rich biodiversity, with a vast area of tropical rainforest that is home to a wide variety of fauna and flora.
The panoramic flight over the Iguaçu Falls is an exhilarating and unforgettable experience, offering breathtaking views of the massive waterfalls, lush rainforest, and the winding Iguaçu River. During the flight, visitors can admire the vastness of the falls from above, gaining a unique perspective that showcases the grandeur of the site. The tour includes both the Brazilian and Argentine sides, providing a complete view of the falls and surrounding nature. Although the flight is relatively short, it provides an adrenaline-packed experience while allowing visitors to appreciate the raw beauty of this natural wonder. It's a perfect opportunity for those seeking a different viewpoint of the falls and a chance to capture stunning images from the sky. The experience is highly recommended for nature lovers and adventure seekers looking to explore the full scope of Iguaçu's awe-inspiring landscape.
The Bird Park, in Foz do Iguaçu, is a unique attraction offering an experience with native and exotic birds, including macaws, toucans, and herons. The park features trails and aviaries where visitors can observe the birds up close in environments that mimic their natural habitat. In addition to birds, there are also reptiles, butterflies, and mammals. Focusing on conservation and environmental education, the park raises awareness about biodiversity conservation and offers interactive activities. It’s an excellent option for those seeking to connect with nature and support local wildlife preservation.

Ricardo/Richard met us at the Argentinian airport and took us over the border to our hotel in Brazil. He explained the procedure and we got through smoothly. He took us back to the Argentinian side of the falls the next day and was very knowledgeable with great English. He also arranged a helicopter flight for us which was the icing on the cake. Thank you Richard, you made our trip to the falls very enjoyable. I would highly recommend.
We are a group of 8 seniors. This was our first time visiting Iguazu. Richard the tour guy was really great. Started from booking the tour, purchasing the entrance tickets, picking up our group of 8 from the airport, to the day of touring both side of the Iguazu falls. Even though we have changed our itineraries a couple of times. He was patient and was able to provide us with recommendation. Our whole group enjoyed his service a lot. I liked the communication with him through WhatsApp as soon as I booked the tour, and he was able to confirm the size of the vehicle with pic to ensure me it’s big enough for our 16 pieces of big and hand carry baggage and we still could sit comfortably in the vehicle. This was our biggest concern. I appreciate his professionalism and experience, and I would highly recommend his service to anyone for this tour.
Richard is the guide for you! Knowlegeable, speaks very good English, is nice and very helpful. We had much fun in this amazing park.
We have had the experience of a lifetime, Richard has looked after us so well, he was extremely good company over 3 days. He adapted our trips due to weather conditions and he organised helicopter fights and boat trips around the Falls as well as an evening dinner and show. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Well done Ricardo xx
Thank you Richard for a superb two days tour with you. We so appreciated your patience and consideration for two seniors who were determined to do it all. Our experience felt stress free and seamless thanks to your attention to detail. Your care and enthusiasm made our two days very special. We can't recommend your tour enough.
Me and my family spend 2 days touring iguazu falls with Richard. He was very knowledgeable, knew all the good locations and tips and highly efficient. Overall recommend.
Richard was an excellent guide and conversationalist. We enjoyed learning about the falls and his inside knowledge of the area. We felt very safe and comfortable with him. I highly recommend asking for him by name for the best experience!
It was a pleasure & an absolute joy having Richard as our tour guide . He’s friendly & knowledgable & prompt with his responses & services . Will definitely recommend him to my friends visiting Iguazu Falls !!
We covered two countries in just a day and a half. Richard is extremely friendly and has extensive knowledge of the park, including its wildlife and forests. He is also very patient and flexible, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Great tour with Richard! It was a very hot day and Richard readily adapted the tour to meet our needs and ensure that we didn’t melt! Managed to fit in both the Brazilian and Argentine sides of the falls. Richard finished our day by taking us to a traditional Brazilian buffet lunch. Fabulous thank you so much Richard and Hannibal ( our driver)
Wonderful day trip with adventure and learning about wildlife while enjoying nature. The park is very organized and well run.
The trip was fantastic. Seamless. From the airport pick-up, to the falls, the hotel, dinner recommendations, reservations and transport. It could not have gone better for the three couples traveling together. Don't miss lunch at the Belmond if you get to the Brazil side of the falls.
Ricardo was an excellent tour guide. He was very helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed both the Argentinan and Brazilian sides of the falls and his knowledge of the routes was impressive. He was friendly and easy to be with. I would highly recommend his services
Recommendations Ricardo as our private guide gave us a fantastic trip. We feel very pressured his service. Thank you Recardo!
I had such a great time with Ricardo!!! He’s a great guide and made our time at Iguazu Falls much better. You can blindly trust him. Explained everything and also gave us water during the trip. Thank u.
Ricardo is very professional, caring and patience tourist guide that I never met before. He did his best to suit our request. We like to spend long time for photos of each scenery and shopping. He was very patience to stand aside to wait for our shopping. We had helicopter flight and walked close to the falls in Brazil side. He also arranged a top dinner show on the first night in Brazil too. We also had enough time to Devil Throat, train ride and jungle jeep to speed boat ride close to the falls to get us wet and also walk through upper circuit with stunning views with rainbows, the boats on the River and waterfalls too. We arrived airport on time to catch the flight back to Buenos Aires. We highly recommend Ricardo to anyone who wants an excellent tourist guide in the Iguazu Falls.
We visited the Iguazu Falls over 2 days, one day on the Brazilian side and one day from the Argentine side. Both sides are worth the visit.
