Macuco Safari Boat Trip

It was very fun! It’s very safe if the participants follow the instructions.

Great and awesome experience but I was shocked to figure out that Viator Commission is 35$ out of the 109$ … real cost of the activity is 74$

Firstly I can say the actual boat trip up the river and into the falls is great fun and worth it. However, the rest of the experience is appalling. Firstly , we were in the entrance queue for over an hour despite already having purchased our tickets! Then we were in a queue for the transport which travelled a few hundred meters before depositing us at the start of the ‘safari’. This was a complete joke we walked 600m through the jungle and the sum total of the safari being a solitary butterfly!! No commentary about the nature or wildlife from our guide. Don’t take people for fools this is just a way of wasting time before joining yet another queue for over an hour to finally get onto the boat. Again the boat is great fun and not to be missed. Then back on land off the boat its another 40 minute wait in a queue to get out of the safari. I believe there is maybe private tours that skip much of the queuing and bypass the so called “safari”. My recommedation is do this.

Basically a short walk through jungle to get to the boats. 20-30 minutes on water. If you have the chance the tour on the Argentina side is much better, they get you much closer to the falls. Just do both and then you will know.

Nice boat ride and walk through the jungle but more explanation from guides would have been useful and the boat ride sadly not worth the money charged...

you will get SOAKED , but it's super nice, they will take you under the falls, it's amazing. They have lockers where you can leave your bag with extra clothes. Dont miss this experience !

I loved it all ,the hike was exciting although it might be a bit challenging if you have trouble with your back or legs. I am 63 and in moderately active shape. The kayak was calm and waterfalls were awesome. The guides were great and very attentive.

It was an exciting experience. The staff were very friendly. We had an awesome time. Expect everything to get very very wet. Take off you shoes.Enjoy. It was marvelous.

This will be my third time doing this tour. Taking my adult children to experience this once in a lifetime boat and safari ride.

One of the best experiences to do at Iguazu, but I would suggest booking yourself the trip. This company did not tell me that I have to go to a travel company to get a voucher! Likely I called the evening before since I had not heard anything and was given instruction by the local provider.

Great for feeling the power of the water. Impressive amount of water that passes through there.

The attendant Brenda was great! Very patient and helped us to reconcile all our excursions of interest in our period of travel to Foz. It was a very amazing journey and full of experience and special moments.

An Enterprise that focuses on excellence, from the first appointments to hiring, ease of payment, with the advantage of packaging all tickets and transfers in a single package. Effective support during the journey, through whatsApp. Punctual and friendly drivers, as well as comfortable and clean vehicles. The hiring of Loumar was a difference in our trip, as we avoided wasting time in queues to buy a ticket. All wonderful. We will be back in Foz in 5 years and I will definitely hire again.

Just wonderful we were in 2 adult and two children of 12 and 10 years old. The tour was amazing macuco safari everyone should do. I actually made all the tours with the LOUMAR, Cataratas Brasil and Argentina, Parque das aves, Itaipu Yup Star the giant wheel and the Movie car with the show of the waters. The staff is very prepared in what it does; I recommend to ALL QUPRESTEM BASTANE ATHESE TO HORARY FOR it is collective trips so nobody stays for TRAZ. VARIOUS TIMES OUR GUIDE SPOKE THE TIME OF RETURN RESPECTING THIS NOBODY STAYS FOR TRAZ. NEXT TIME I'LL DO IT AGAIN WITH THE LOUM

I participated in transfer in/out, transfers and tickets to parks and attractions. The Service is excellent.! Punctuals, new and clean vehicles, excellent guides and operator desk in the hotel lobby always available for information. I recommend Loumar.

We made several tours with Loumar and the feeling is of a very popular Enterprise. All made with buses, a lot of people and so it takes a long time to get to the destinations. No coincidence. We used to hear about the history of foz and the destinations but if you want something more exclusive and agility I do not indicate.

We have contracted various services with the Enterprise Loumar Turismo, since it is one of the largest agencies here in Foz. When we left Macuco Safari, the Enterprise guide warned us that our van would be waiting for us. The combined time was the departure at 17:30. We arrived at 17:10 and there was no one from the Enterprise, no van and we discovered through the agent who sold us the package that the van had already left city sense. I mean, they left us (me and my girlfriend). We asked for agility, we contacted several times in search of a short solution. Nothing done. The van informed 10 min, 15 min and so on until it arrived at 18:40. The front of the park was dark and empty. There was no one else on the spot. We paid an advance Service to have comfort and had this huge headache after a beautiful day of walking. We are awaiting an official position from Enterprise regarding the damage and wear caused to us.

The whole walk was wonderful! Beautiful place and the special Processing of our guide Santander left us the best memories of Macuco Safari!!

They should warn you that on the boat trip they not only get you wet but they put you directly under the raging jet of water that falls from the jump, especially if how much I am paying they see that I am with a 6-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl. My kids were really scared, they literally cried in terror, they didn't know what was going on. The amount of water that falls on you is so much that you have to hold your breath. Horrifying experience, I do not recommend it.

Amazing experience in the middle of nature with experienced professionals. The tour is safe, including I took my 3 year old daughter. Unforgettable.

I selected activity like Macuco Safari, but I did all the other accompanied also for Loumar. Amazing, helpful and punctual. Always available, in addition to having placed in hotels. When I get back to town, I'll take tours with them again for sure

I went with my 8-year-old daughter and we loved it! Even at that time (Feb/2022) when the volume of water is smaller. I thought it was worth it. The Boat is fun to walk, the whole tour is worth it, the bathing in the waterfall is fantastic, the view is quite different from the one we have on the sidewalk. Seeing the Devil's throat in front of us even far away was so impressive. If I had a ride with more time in the boat, I would and I would do it again!

Wonderful experience.... All super attentive staff, especially the Júlio, the Jessica who is the guide on the city tour buses, who besides we pass all the tourist information is still a wonderful photographer!!! Super recommend...

The Paseo is amazing and for all ages. Time is short but worth it! During almost the entire route you can take photos with your cell phone... then forget... you will all get wet. The view is incredible, the feeling-feeling is unique.

Note a thousand the guide Vera. Attentive, professional, explained and guided us along the trail, telling us curiosities about the local flora and fauna and why of some names of trees and animals. His explanations were so striking that my 4 year old son, after finishing the tour and when we were doing the other track, asked about the "aunt" Vera and my nephew was pretending to be a guide and explaining things. They should make the promotion of the trail, Vera with their native knowledge and constant kindness and inclusive Service.They offer water and snack included in this price and towel for after the boat ride. The boat ride eh beautiful, we went without adventure because we were with small children. .Marine joel and very attentive helper tb.. My eldest son said q was more radical than disney. It was worth every penny. Thank you but now I want to find timbo seed and I will stay away from floating trunks (jacaré in guarani)

Unforgettable tour. I recommend everyone to visit Foz do Iguacu. A mix of emotions, amazing landscapes, encounter with nature in a stunning place.

The walk was very short and unfortunately I went at a time when the river was very dry, which made the waterfalls not so voluminous.

I made a package with Parque das Avez, Itaipu with Macuco, Restaurnte Porto Canoas and Eco Museum and also the transfer Paraguay and Cty Tour with Marco das 3 Fronteras. It was all perfect, very punctual and all the tips were valid. Details I had already visited Foz but with their support really my whole family took great advantage of the tour.

Fantastic service!! I never use travel agencies because I can always make all the reservations myself and at a lower cost, but for the first time a travel agency managed to surprise me! Today my son and girlfriend did the macuco Safari and it was awful! There was no water and it was just a boat ride through the river for R$299,00/Cover! A disappointment that could be avoided if Loumar had informed that there was not enough water in the falls to pass by boat (best part of the tour and our espwctativa). A disappointment! Don't take the tour right now and ask your travel agency about it. We wasted time and money today on this frustrating ride!

We had been to the Iguacu Falls other times, but never was it as good as when we closed the tour package with the Leonardo da Loumar Tourism. He indicated us the package of Macuco Safari + Rafting + Restaurant in the waterfalls (which is surreal) + Marco of the 3 borders. Buying this package with it all together came out cheaper, and we had the whole tour organized by it and we received incredible tips of recommended places and times. Nothing better than taking a tour with professional recommendations!! I highly recommend, congratulations to the whole team and especially to Leonardo!! A big hug Allan and Family!

We made several tours with them , Macuco Sáfari indescribable and indispensable, two-storey bus to the Marco de las Tres Fronteras and tour of the city, transfer to Paraguay, very attentive guide and Dreamland we went to 03 attractions of the 05 that possesses, I want to go back to do the rest, international level the wax museum, Ice Bar very nice and open bar of drinks , Valley of the Dinosaurs very well done the replicas style Disney, I liked a lot!!! I went to Reveillon 2020/2021 and pressing back to see the waterfalls on the Argentine side, Paraguay again, Bird Park and the Dreamland! We closed several tours with Loumar Tourism. The first contact was via WhatsApp and phone when we bought the tickets. Upon arrival in Foz we took out the tickets at the hotel itself and we were treated by Lucas who, very attentive, informed us better about the tours (what to take, what time to arrive..) and gave suggestions. Tickets have the same value if purchased at Loumar or at the attractions, being interesting because they avoid queues and we have left everything scheduled. -We did the CityTour (we were damaged pq 2 of the attractions were closed due to Covid and the Bridge of Friendship was in a lot of queues so we could not stop for a photo, but it was worth it due to the knowledge acquired with the information passed by the guide and the tour of the 3 Frontier); - Bird Park: excellent experience. - Cataract: wonderful - Macuco: high price, but very fun, worth it. - Biological Refuge: interesting, but not surprising after the other attractions. -Aguaray: legal beeem activity. Trail + Kayak + Waterfall. Very attentive guides. - Helicopter: expensive and short time, but an unforgettable experience. - katamaram: interesting experience, worth it. Dinner leaves a little to be desired. The trip was excellent, without headaches and with many memorable experiences.

Very well organized tour, which begins with a ride to the banks of the river with a cart along with the staff of Macuco Safari. The boat ride is very fun and super safe. Fun is guaranteed!!

An unforgettable ride by speedboat on the Iguazu River up to the waterfalls. We got the first trip of the day, just us two. A lot of great photos could have been taken, but we were afraid of water / moisture on the photo equipment - the photos were taken afterwards from land. Some believe that Argentina side is better, well, the best is to visit both sides + boat trip! We visited the waterfalls in early July, good weather and plenty of water in the waterfalls. No problems and good safety on the trip. One should prepare well, read about everything that is available and that is attractive. Macuco Safari also have a "full-day arrangement" which should be very good - we unfortunately only had one day available - this was not enough in time! (This tour lies a few years back now)

I did the tour in the "dry" style because passing under the waterfalls is an optional one; just inform at the time of boarding that you do not want to get wet. Be careful when crossing between two lanes because the shaking of the waves causes abrupt movements and are not recommended for those who have problems in the column.

The Macuco Safari tour is indescribable. The beginning is quite slow and half boring, going to the edge of the river of "trenzinho" through the Atlantic forest should have a bit of patience, the information of the guide are basically of interest to foreign tourists...But when arriving at the place of boarding on the boat / boat the climate changes and the expectation increases...I changed and I went only from sunga + the life jacket (the closet to put the backpack costs R$ 10,00 and they do not warn before)...once boarded and only emotion and manoeuvres to take the bag!!! It's expensive, but it's worth it. Tip: If you are going to do cascade and macuco, do the macuco before and right in the morning, because the whole tour takes about 2h 2 and half....
