We had an amazing day at the falls, both sides but we couldn’t have done it without Cristian. He is a fantastic tour guide. He collected us from our hotel at 7am which was So worthwhile as we were the first people at the devil’s throat. Every detail of the day was so well planned and we’d time to stop for coffee and lunch. I would 100% recommend CAFalls tours and Cristian is the expert.

What a great experience with our tour guide Douglas..he was very knowledgeable about the timing and pace of our tour. We experienced the Argentina side in the early morning before the heat of the day and than the most beautiful part the Brazilian side when there was hardly any people on the walkway. He even gave our wives the opportunity to shop at the stores. He also suggested the boat ride to the falls..the NOT WET boat ride lol..what a wonderful experience that was. Douglas also was very knowledgeable about the area and county and shared many stories and experiences of the country and town. I would highly recommend Douglas as a personal tour guide.
Exceptional organization and very professional attitude. We saw everything most interesting from the Brazilian and Argentine side of the waterfall. Our guide William told us all the most interesting and useful information, helped us with tickets and reservations and other activities that we included at the last minute. He helped us with a helicopter tour, a dinner with a tango show and a reserve with rare birds. I highly recommend the service that the company offers.
We just finished our day tour with Fernando and it was such a wonderful experience! Fernando knew the best way to structure the day to give us the best viewing opportunities while avoiding the worst of the heat and the worst of the crowds. He gave excellent tips on where to take photos and even took a few pictures of our family for us at those spots. (Including when a butterfly landed on my thumb!) He gave us time to enjoy each location as we wanted and was ready to guide us to each new spot when we were ready to move on. He was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we saw during the day, as well. We were also well guided with the admission process at both parks and Fernando really made us feel like VIPs. I will definitely be recommending this tour with this company to anyone I know who is planning a trip to Iguaçu. Thank you for such a lasting memory!!!
We were very happy with our guide Willian 🤩 we had a wonderful day seeing both sides in one day! Felt like we had plenty of time to enjoy the views on both sides.
We had an amazing experience visiting Iguazú Falls thanks to our fantastic guide, Christian. He took us to both the Brazilian and Argentine sides, arranged early access, and made the whole day smooth and stress-free. He was extremely knowledgeable, well informed, and shared great insights about the park and the waterfalls. His customer service was excellent and he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. Christian was amazing — highly recommend this tour and guide!
Wonderful tour with Fernando to Brazil and Argentina. He customized the tour for us as we needed and made the day easy and memorable. Highly recommend!
William was a fantastic guide. We were collected at 7pm in a comfortable car and taken over the border into Argentina. We were dropped at the gate, William got our tickets and we boarded the train. The Devil’s throat and the Bonetti falls were beyond spectacular. Then back into Brazil and a stop for lunch at the magnificent Refrain steakhouse and into the Igazu National Park, all by the same comfortable car. The views from Brazil as incredible as there’s water all around you. Just an amazing day - well done William 👍
We had an amazing day with our tour guide, Cristian. He is very attentive and professional and took care of everything for us. Visiting the two sides with 2 kids could have been stressful, but with our tour guide everything went smoothly and everyone was happy! The tour guides also have preferential access which can save a lot of time. Cristian knew all the ways to go to the various spots at the best times. Highly recommended!
Best tour ever and best guide ever! Christian made sure we accomplished our goals for the day. Not only did he make sure that we get to do what we wanted, he made sure our experience was an amazing one and beyond compare. We got to experience the park before it opened to the public in the morning. We didn’t have to contend with the crowds, took our time to soak in the experience. Highly recommend Christian. I wouldn’t do Iguazo any other way.
Leandro was a great guide indeed he describes me everything we saw together in the park. No spoiler but it’s one of the best natural place in the world. I had a good time :)
We had the best day ever with CA Falls. It will forever be such a magical experience and memory. William was amazing and so knowledgeable and organised. Highly recommend.
The number of tour options to visit the Iguazu Falls on TripAdvisor can be overwhelming. There are group and private tours, visits to the Argentine or Brazilian side, spread over one or two days. We chose a private day tour to visit both sides in one day – and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! The preparation was smooth thanks to Christian, who provided us with detailed information via WhatsApp. All our questions were answered promptly, and we received the name of our guide, Leandro, along with confirmation that he would pick us up at the hotel. Sure enough, in the morning, Leandro was already waiting for us in the hotel lobby. We started our trip in a comfortable car with great air conditioning. One thing that stood out immediately was his excellent language skills (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) – something not very common in Brazil. He gave us a clear overview of the day’s itinerary and drove calmly and safely. Leandro’s added value as a guide was exceptional. He continuously provided explanations and useful tips about the different parks, pointed out the best viewpoints, restrooms, and places to buy drinks, and proved to be an excellent wildlife spotter. His knowledge of the local fauna, flora, and park history was impressive, and he shared it in an engaging and interactive way. On top of that, he handled all the practical aspects: he arranged the park tickets, the train rides, and even the passport control at the Argentine border. We never felt rushed; our own pace dictated the rhythm of the day. The waterfalls themselves are already a breathtaking natural wonder, but Leandro’s guidance took our experience to another level. His attention to detail, expertise, and friendly attitude made this a day we will never forget. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Iguazu in the best possible way! Christian was extremely experienced and friendly. He coordinated this tour with me via Wattsapp after the booking. He guided me through the bookings and the arrivals process which was customised to my group as we arrived from Buenos Aires at 1015 and did not fit the usual tour times. What made Christian unique was the way he organised and coordinated the day seamlessly and got us to the best viewing points of the falls. He read the needs of my group as one person was older and could not do the extra walking so made it as easy as possible for her without compromising her experience of the falls especially on the Brazilian side. What an amazing experience. I highly recommend this tour with Christian. After going on his tour you will not go on any others as we felt very well looked after and special. Thank you Christian and Nicholas for picking us up .
Guilherme was excellent guide. He let us customize how we wanted to see the falls. And let us spend more time on the interesting areas We recommend very strongly.
Unbelievable! I can’t imagine packing this trip into a day without a guide. Really glad I found this and willheln was great. We used every minute of the day well
We loved the private tour with excellent guide Christian. The falls are one of the most beautiful things my eyes ever saw. The day went beyond my expectations
Great tour!! We really enjoyed it. Very accommodative and informative. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone !
Hey, the day was amazing thanks. Mauricio is a very good guide, very attentive and benevolent. His knowledge of the region and the falls is very interesting. His advice and explanations helped us a lot. The crossing at the Argentine border was very fluid and reassuring, he took care of everything! In addition, he speaks French very well, which made the day even more enjoyable! We recommend him at 100%. Thank you very much for this beautiful day!
Cristian is an awesome guy! I booked last minute the night before and he made my trip possible. He is a professional guide with special vehicle transit privileges and is well known throughout the park's staff (true celebrity haha) I had just one day to visit, so I needed a guide to help me through all there is to know and do to visit as much as possible in one day. He moved me around in a nice SUV and shared very interesting facts of the park and wildlife. I'm a photographer, so I chose a private tour so I could take my time taking pictures; he was so chill and helped me find great spots and manage my time right. He is cool and helpful at all times, 1000% recommended!
I visited Iguazu falls 25 years ago which gave me a false sense of confidence that I could now navigate through the Iguazu fall walkways without a tour guide. I flew into Iguazu , ill- prepared and naively believing I only needed to be dropped off at the entrance by a taxi into Iguazu National Park by a taxi to experience all of what Iguazu falls has to offer. When logistical concerns became apparent, I desperately booked a private tour through Viator at the last minute , in the late evening preceding the morning of my tour. My flight was scheduled to depart in the evening of the day of my Iguazu tour. By sheer luck, Viator assigned me to a private tour guide who is fully certified and well respected as a “second generation” veteran Iguazu Falls tour guide. These 2 factors resulted in me avoiding the huge crowds with NO WAIT TIME and so much more! My tour guide contacted me within minutes after I booked the tour through Viator and verified my pick-up location and time at my hotel at 7:30 am in the morning and provided information to prepare me for the walking tour: such as the need for my passport, an umbrella or rain poncho, etc. That next morning, my tour guide was punctual , professional, and courteous, as he asked about any health concerns of walking before communicating his plan to avoid traffic and long wait times as necessary to get me back to the airport well before my scheduled departure time. Being that I flew in from Argentina, the plan was to view Iguazu Falls from Brazil first and then view it from Argentina before taking me back to the airport, on the Argentine side. Once in his vehicle, we passed miles of other vehicles and tour buses ,all in a queue in a single lane, awaiting to cross the border into Brazil. We were able to quickly passed them all because we were in the fast track lane. For crossing into Brazil, we exited his vehicle and I simply gave my passport to Cristian, stood behind him, as he approached the counter with no line, and handed a customs official my passport with his certifications. The federal customs was obviously familiar with Cristian due to numerous previous encounters, as he engaged Cristian with friendly small talk, as they reviewed my passport and his certifications and quickly granted my approval to enter the park from the Brazilian side. As a result of being in the fast track lane and getting through customs so quickly, we were amongst the very first people to enter Iguazu national park from the Brazilian side, just as the park opened. Cristian answered questions not only about the Iguazu Falls, but about the indigenous population of the region including their plight and politics impacting his tourist industry. He also gave an in-depth history on the formation of the falls, the ecosystem, and issues involving Brazil’s heavy reliance on hydropower, and impacts during droughts. Cristian also shared photos from his cell phone of specific sections of the falls that I was viewing were flooded due to heavy rains and when relatively little water was flowing over the falls during droughts, such that I knew how the magnificent falls looked during both extreme conditions. He also shared video recordings of his encounters of animals during previous tours, including a jaguar and a caiman encounter and shared other interesting experiences he had as a tour guide, as well. Christian keenly listened for forest sounds and has an uncanny ability to spot wildlife, plants, insects including various species of butterflies. He even spotted a camouflaged Great Potoo, which is a rare find being that it’s nearly impossible to spot, and disclosed that is a birder in his spare time. My walking tour was more than just a tour but an educational experience. Being first to enter the park on the Brazilian side, we were stayed ahead of the huge crowds and I enjoyed the breathtaking views of the falls in tranquility without having to wait for others to leave highly desirable viewpoints and without people crowding my personal space, which made for a pleasant experience. Cristian monitored the weather closely and timed our lunch break perfectly to coincide with rains. After our meal, the rain had passed. As we left the Brazilian side, midday, I noticed that the long line of vehicles and tour buses on the opposite side of the highway had not diminished much in length, as many people were still waiting to enter the park on the Brazilian side. We crossed back into Argentina quickly, as we once again, we passed by buses and other vehicles in a queue awaiting to go through customs because we were in fast track lane, saving time. Even so, the lines of vehicles and tour buses waiting to enter the park on the Argentinian side were not nearly as long as lines in the morning because most tours start earlier in the day, and only a small percentage of tours included viewing the Iguazu Falls from both sides, such that, on the Argentinian side, in the afternoon, large crowds and long wait times were avoided as well. I was dropped off at the airport with plenty of time to spare before my flight was scheduled to depart. —— Mr. Christian Albino is a fully certified tour guide who is a Brazilian national residing on the Argentinian side of the Iguazu Falls who is also a second generation Iguazu falls tour guide, as his father was also a fully certified tour guide at Iguazu Falls before him. Christian also has a brother who, like him and their father , is also a fully certified Iguazu tour guide. He is more than a tour guide as this is his passion as it is his father’s passion. There is no substitute for proper training and certifications, a passion for the Iguazu Falls, and a reputation developed over decades, as with the Albino family. In reflection, I witnessed camaraderie amongst tour guides who knew Cristian in passing, including his brother who I met briefly. I observed the respect of park staff and federal customs officers alike, which, along with the necessary certifications all made our navigation to and through the park easy and my experience extraordinary. While others were being made to wait in long lines, both in gridlock bus traffic and in lines inside the park, and being herded in and out of tour buses like cattle with very little informative interaction with their tour guides, my experience was vastly different. I benefited immensely Cristians certifications, expertise and reputation of his family which preceded him. My recommendation is to avoid large group tour groups and to seek out a private tour guide with fast track credentials. If you are lucky like I was, you may be assigned an ‘Albino’.
We had a great time with Chris. He guided us through a wonderful day at the falls, was very friendly and also accommodated our travel plans! Highly recommend this tour, very seamless and enjoyable!
Amazing tour ! Christian is one of the best guides we have ever had. He took care of us in a very professional and kind way. The tour had us skip lines on the border and we enjoyed every minute of both sides of the falls ! We really felt we were VIP ! And the views on both sides are so mindblowing ! I highly recommend the tour
This was a fantastic tour of both sides of Iguazu Falls. Cristian is an excellent tour guide who is knowledgeable, patient, resourceful and truly dependable. His versatility in English, Spanish, and Portugese, among other languages, made it very easy to navigate different countries without a fuss. This highly recommended tour is is an experience of a lifetime and definitely worth the money.
If you're going to make the trip out to the Iguazu Falls, you owe it to yourself to see it from both Brazil and Argentina. Cristian is the only guide in town that will take you to see both sides on the same day. Going with a guide, you can navigate quickly between the Brazil/Argentina border. He'll take you to all the best spots to see the falls. I loved the private tour because I was able to enjoy the hiking and each view at my own pace.
Amazing day trip to Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires! We were a group of 6 adults from the U.S. I am so glad we booked with Cristian. He met us at the airport on time, knew a lot about the waterfall, trees, and local animals, and helped us cross over to Brazil then back to Argentina quickly. Without a tour guide, it is impossible to see both sides of the falls in the same day. I highly recommend him to others. Also his English is perfect and he is very responsive via WhatsApp.
What an incredible experience! We did a day tour to both sides of the waterfalls and it was spectacular. Cristian is amazing and organized our tour perfectly so that each view exceeded the last. We ended with the greatest view on the bridge! He is extremely knowledgeable and knows all the tips and tricks to make the day seamless including crossing the borders. With him we were able to get exclusive access to the park/viewpoints after hours with very few people for an unobstructed, efficient experience. Could not recommend this tour and Cristian more!
We had an amazing experience with our tour guide Sidnei. The waterfalls are beautiful and you MUST see them from both sides to understand the magnitude of them. Sidnei was full of great information and made crossing the border very easy. Great tour and tour guide. Thank you!
What an experience… Chris was as amazing as nature. He made our day great and manage to fit all plus boat ride in one long more than enjoyable day. He met and exceeded far and beyond all our expectations. We will recommend him to long time and just met friends. AMAZING all over 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful trip. Thank you for a well planned day that was smooth and truly felt luxurious. Enjoy the boat ride.
Both sides tour was completely worth it. Our guide, Sidnei, could speak great English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He knew how to navigate and avoid all the lines, spotted cool wildlife, knew what order and where to guide us. We added the boat tour on the Brazil side, which was insanely fun. Our guide even brought a waterproof bag for us, knowing we’d need it and stored our dry clothes and belongings in his car, which always had the best and closest parking spots. Each side has such different vantage points, so glad we did both because we only had one day. Our guide said he’s guided for years and clearly had a rapport with other people there, which made it easy for us to avoid crowds, see so much, do so many trails and have the most memorable day.
Chris was an an amazing guide and helped us experience the falls like locals! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and informative: he gave us an insiders perspective while taking us to all the major sights and activities on both sides of the falls. While we were on the tour he was pointing out local wild life, interesting plants, and telling us about the history of the areas and cities close to where we were exploring. He also organized an amazing Argentinian steak lunch for us (per our request) and waited for us while we took a boat tour of the falls before taking us all back to our hotels. We would absolutely book Chris again for any excursions while in Iguaçu!
Chris was recommended to me by a friend. He was fantastic! Chris knows the tricks to making the most of the visit that we would have never known. Our group of 5 ranged from 16 to 76. Highly recommend Chris and his family owned tour company!
In the beginning we actually didn't want to book a tour and visit the waterfalls all by ourselves. Then we decided to book the tour with Cristian to the Iguazu Falls in Argentina to save time and to be a bit more relaxed. So we met this great and nice guide, got good informations and no queues. We were so amazed by his organisation and the way he took all our wishes into account that we finally ended up booking the trip to the brazilian side the next day with Cristian as well! I would allways book a tour with Cristian again and can highly recommend it to everyone! Thanks Cristian for 2 unforgettable days!!! ☀️
Thanks for two great days Cristian, a guide who loves his work, with a lot of commitment, great tips and interesting stories. Well-organized tour. We highly recommend!
A very pleasant and complete day despite the rain; Cristian is a very friendly guide.
Nice experience although due to the challenging high temperatures. Our guide Maiko, was perfect, organized and extremely affable and helpful. Nice tour thanks.
Excellent, really exceeded our expectations, friendly guide very organized, felt we were with a friend Super recommended
Excellent treatment and very punctual in everything. The falls on both the Argentina and Brazil sides, spectacular. Cristian very friendly always, and with a lot of experience on the tour, and even though we had a rainy day we had an unforgettable time. Worth the tour
Excellent treatment, excellent explanation and Christian a great guide , helpful very attentive and very prepared, I recommend it 100%
We did the visit to the Iguazu falls with the guide Leandro. He was punctually on time to pick us up at the reception of our hotel. Leandro was very friendly and very helpful. At the customs transition from Argentina to Brazil he arranged everything for us. He even arranged Argentine money for us to buy the tickets because we couldn't do it online. He explained everything in fluent English. It was a luxury to be able to do the tour privately with Leandro. In many places we got priority because we did the visit with the guide Leandro. The day went super smooth. It is highly recommended. Christian and Leandro are super!!!!
