We had a great experience overall. The hike to the falls, the boat ride and helicopter flight were amazing. The bird park was also neat…tons of macaws. The only thing to keep in mind is that we were part of a group where we were the only ones going on a helicopter so we ended up having to meet another tour guide. We don’t speak Portuguese but we’re able to make it happen because a good number of people speak Spanish or English in that area. Lots of fun!

Itinerary
This incredible tour offers an unforgettable view formed by the immense group of waterfalls of Foz do Iguaçu. Once inside the park, the van or bus will drive until you reach the trails and walkways that face the falls. We will walk from 40 minutes to 1 hour on the trails and walkways facing the falls on the Brazilian side and with panoramic views of the Argentine side. After the pick up at your hotel, get ready for spectacular landscapes. Nothing in the world of water compares to, or is more impressive than the natural spectacle provided by the stunning group of 275 waterfalls that make up the Iguassu Waterfalls. Located a few kilometers from the union of the Iguassu River with the Paraná River, the waterfalls takes you to a state of awe with their size, water flow and strong current. The geologic change that gave birth to the Iguassu Waterfalls took place nearly 150 million years ago and shook the earth crust around the globe. At the Iguassu region those changes created a gigantic canyon, full of rock steps through which the grand Iguassu flows, producing a huge steam cloud and a deafening sound. The average flow of the Waterfalls is around 1.800 m3 per second, for an average amount of 10 million liters per second. During the rain season, the stream of the Iguassu River increases and shows an even more beautiful spectacle. The biggest waterfall is the “Devils Throat”, which is 90 meters high. The volume of water poured down creates a cloud of drizzling water that can be watched from kilometers away. Panoramic Helicopter Flight - 10 minutes approximately: You will also have a thrilling, informative helicopter flight that gives a completely different and unique perspective of the spectacular waterfalls.
.Ecological trails, canyons, wild animals and a spectacular view. Iguassu Falls are some of the things you´ll encounter during this unforgettable excursion through the Iguassu National Park. The adventure begins at the entrance to the Macuco Safari, located 25 kilometer down Cataratas Highway inside Iguassu National Park. Board open jeep-towed wagons that allow for an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail. During the stretch of three kilometers through the jungle, multi-lingual guides will point out examples of the flora and fauna of the Park. Orchids, palm trees, bromeliads, centenarian trees, and even wild animals that occasionally cross the trail are pointed out by the guides. The hike is the second stage of our journey. On a stretch of 600 meters, is a hike on a trail that leads to a waterfall called "Macuco Falls" (optional). The waterfall - perfect for a refreshing dip on hot days - spills down from a height of approximately 20 meters. Access is via a stairway carved into the ancient rock. The last stop is the Macuco Safari docks on the Brazilian side of the Iguassu River. In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats await us. They´re constructed to withstand the rigors of the excursion, as well as being secure and efficient vessels. Before embarkation, passengers receive life-vests and plastic containers in which to protect photographic and filming equipment. The boat travels up-river passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that allows for scenic viewing. Rocks, animals and ample amounts of greenery complete the scenery until the base of the Falls is reached, next to the "great horseshoe" know as the "Devils Throat". Enjoy a waterfall shower. Rainbows, blue sky, mist and water in abundance, punctuate the spectacle whose high-point is the "The Three Musketeers". Here the captain maneuvers the boat in order to get close enough to provide the passengers with a quick and refreshing shower. Since at the end of the fun everyone normally ends-up wet, passengers more sensitive to cold should make sure to bring extra clothing to use after the boat excursion.
The Bird Park is conveniently located at the entrance of the Iguassu National Park, and fully integrated into its natural surroundings. Mingle with and photograph hundreds of different native and exotic birds, reptiles, caimans, marmosets and butterflies in spacious walk-through aviaries and trails that wind through the jungle.

As time was limited I chose the boat ride and the bird park and skipped the helicopter ride . We went for the boat ride in the morning , it was experience worth every bit the effort , for people not used to riding the rapids it was an exhilarating trip , thoroughly enjoyed the adventure , we visited the bird park in the afternoon , that was also a wonderful experience , I am interested in birds and bird photography and had a very interesting time there , in fact when it was time to leave I couldn't hide my disappointment , I could have spent another 2 or 3 hours there For the boat ride be prepared to be drenched , keep a change of dry clothes and protective gear for your cameras and phones , the ride is also likely to be bumpy The bird park is camera friendly and it will be worthwhile to take your gear with you because there will many good chances to take wonderful pictures
The whole tour was well done. Our guide Roberto was great. Very knowledgeable and pick up on time. Clean vehicle
great guide, get to see iguazu from all perspectives. Pickup starts very early but it is worth it to see everything
The guide was great, and you truly get to experience so much within a day. Would not miss any of this experiences.
Fantastic day! My guide, João Pedro, was excellent and knew exactly how to manage timing and lines, making the entire experience efficient and stress-free. He was very knowledgeable about the area and shared helpful information throughout the day. With only one day to see the falls, everything felt seamless and well organized, and I was able to see everything I wanted. The helicopter ride was interesting, but the experience depends on your seat; honestly, the trails and especially the boat ride were far better. The boat ride was incredibly fun and absolutely worth it!
Ana Carolina was Great and turned a very raining day into a wonderful experience. Unfortunately we could not do the helicopter ride due to the heavy rain.
We had a very nice and knowledgeable guide called Bhrenno who took us to the bird sanctuary and through the falls :) it was such a great way to celebrate my birthday between snapping pictures of the waterfalls and seeing some wildlife. We were lucky that the sun came out in the afternoon so we could still do our helicopter ride which was so much fun and the views were great.
The guide Ana Carolina was outstanding with a brilliant knowledge as tour guide and a very warm demeanour , made the trip very comfortable
Absolutely brilliant day, I was slightly concerned after reading some other reviews, but perfectly organised from start to finish, no waiting around and every part of this was fantastic. Lurdes our guide was very knowledgeable and a great person for the job Highly recommended
We had Ana as our guide. She was very attentive and on the spot. He went on the helicopter ride and had added time, and she went out of her way to make sure that we could have the experience that we wanted. She was incredibly knowledgeable in the bird park seem to know all the ins and outs of the floor and animals of the region as well as the Amazon. So impressive. She then modified our day to have a great lunch with the best view of the falls and then to see the falls. She made our whole experience A rated
Wonderful the guide was fantastic. I would tell anyone to take this tour. The key is to start early to avoid crowds
Totally awesome experience and over the top experience. The guide was a very nice and knowledgeable person, and stayed with us for the whole, to make sure we didn't get lost.
What a great day! We loved the pace and relaxed feel to this tour. Everything was at your own pace and time. The falls, boat ride, helicopter ride and bird park were all a lot of fun and all very close by each other which was great! Sergio was a wonderful guide. He is also a FANTASTIC photographer and can find you the best shot of the falls. He was full of information, but we really loved that he was able to have fun and make jokes with us the entire time. Highly recommend!
Great option to book and Lucas was an amazing guide! Highly recommend him to anyone visiting the area. Very informative and knew how to avoid the lines.
Great guide! Ana was very knowledgeable and considerate. The trip was well paced and we were able to do a lot a stuff in a day
It is a full exhausting day, but a truly amazing experience. Because of Eric‘s experience and knowledge, we were able to spend much more time at the falls, then waiting in long lines at the border or at the park. Eric gave us the opportunity to get the real essence of the Iguassu Falls!!
Very good trip. Takes all the stress out of planning and navigating it yourself. Guide and transport were great Plenty of time for all the activities. Helicopter and boat ride were amazing. Bird park just mediocre.
The best tour I ever got, very informative and itinerary is at the perfect time. Highly recommend it.
Everything was perfect, this tour is highly recommended. Remember to take dry clothes to wear after boat ride
The Brazilian side offers breathtaking views, and the helicopter ride was incredibly scenic. Everyone had a window seat, allowing us to capture some fantastic photos. The safari was enjoyable, with a diverse array of birds to observe. However, the boat ride was undoubtedly the highlight. It was an absolute blast, and they even drove us into the falls, soaking us all to the bone. It was an unforgettable experience. Mauricio was an exceptional tour guide. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail. He didn’t rush us or pressure us into doing anything. Instead, he patiently guided us through the entire experience, providing us with all the necessary information and assistance. Mauricio was truly a valuable asset to our tour.
Lucas was a great guide! Super friendly and personable. Took us on a day through Iguazú falls getting to do everything we wanted to in the falls. Helicopter ride, boat tour, walking along the falls, bird park, coati and capybara sightings. Great trip from start to finish!
At the beginning we had our doubt about this trip because the guide arrived 1 hour late. But the waiting was all the worthwhile the guide was very kind and passionate about his job. Everything was very well organized and the animals and the views we were able to enjoy made this trip one of the best experiences ever. It was great. I would recommend this trip to anyone who really wants to get to know the Cataratas of Iguazú from every angle.
We booked the trip with an english guide, and we get it as wel! Oscar was an amazing guide with a lot of knowledge. We started with the bird park, a nice place and history. After there we did a panoramic flight with helicopter at the water falls. Then we went to the National Park where we visited the Water falls in Brazilian side, that was so so beautiful. 🤩To finish we went with boat (macuco safari) to see closely the water falls, that was the most amazing, beautiful and nice experience that we had! The whole day was incredibel. If possibel you need to do this itinerary!
explore the falls in every way possible in 1 day with great guide and new car , everything on time and well organized
Can’t have had a better experience. Amazing tour with Brhenno who enriched this experience with his incredible knowledge and passion.
The Brazilian side has lots of awesome views, the helicopter ride was very scenic, everybody had a window seat, was able to bet some good photos, the Safari was nice lots of different birds to see, the boat ride was by far the best, it was a blast, and they drove into the Falls and got everyone soaking wet, it was so much fun, Mauricio was a great tour guide., He was very attentive and explained everything that was going on and the order we were going to do things he was very accommodating did not rush us, He pretty much walked us through everything we needed to do and was super helpful
Had a wonderful day with our guide Eleni who was very helpful, kind, knowledgeable and enjoyable at all times. The falls from the Brazilian side are beyond gorgeous. The helicopter ride, river boat ride and bird park made great memories.
If you visit South America and don't come to Iguassu you will come to regret it , big time. Definitely worth at least 2days in your schedule as the experience cannot be replicated anywhere Extremely high value , close proximity and time saving of these 3 activities plus the ' oh my God falls', is simple a no- brainer MUST if you are aware of this secret gift from the gods.My only regret was out of ignorance- should have seen the 2nd largest dam in the world at night.
A beautiful day! Don't miss the helicopter view, the hike or the boat tour! The bird sanctuary is amazing!
Very comprehensive tour of the Brazilian side of Iguazu. We loved our tour guide João, he went above and beyond and was extremely nice.
Antonio was a great young lad, made it so special. Took the time and effort to explain to us everything in so much detail, would give him a 10/10.
João Pedro was awesome! His English was very strong and we had no trouble communicating with him. He did an awesome job of giving us space and time to explore on our own while remaining at hand and attentive. His service was above and beyond. I was recovering from a cold and he was very patient with me. He also went above and beyond to book us dinner at a restaurant we had been trying to get into but weren’t sure how to. He also had the park ranger stamp our passports. The falls, the helicopter ride, and the. Oat ride were amazing but Joao Pedro make the experience one-of-a-kind!!! Would highly recommend this tour and Joao Pedro!!!
Amazing helicopter flight with a great view, a beautiful bird park and a super fun boat trip to / under the waterfalls! Plus our personal driver / guide was excellent and took care of everything!
Everything was just perfect, starting with pick-up from my Puerto Iguazú hotel. Many thanks to the team! P.S. Take a helicopter ride if you can, it’s unbelievably beautiful.
Gray Line Brazil is the best! They took care of me during my tour of the Brazil side of the falls. After my tour of the Argentina side booked with C2Rio was cancelled, I called Gray Line and they went out of their way to give me a private tour of the Argentina side. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and take care of everything! I highly recommend them for any tour they offer!
Good way to see as much as possible of the falls if you have just one day. Bring a full Set of changing cloths - the boat experience in the end is really wet :o)
You need to visit this place before you die! It is really amazing to see all those waterfalls, the rainbows! Try to visit both sides, from Brazil and from Argentina! Need to have a good shape, you will walk a lot! Você precisa visitar este lugar antes de morrer! E realmente surpreendente ver todas aquelas cataratas e o arco iris! Tente visitar tanto o lado brasileiro quanto o Argentino, precisa ter um bom preparo, você vai caminhar muito.

I was led to believe this was an English tour. It was all Portuguese. The hike is worthless and a big waste of time. So is the journey through the trails. You don't see any wildlife. And the hordes of people have destroyed most all of the natural aspect. The boat tour under the falls is cool. The bird park is nice. I love nature. But I had to skip the picture with the macau to do my helicopter ride. Turns out, they wouldn't let me do it, because they only fly groups of three. Even though they flew with two while I was standing there. My guide couldn't handle the situation. I had already paid for the whole thing. This whole tour is just a cluster of disorganized junk.

They don't pick up from Argentinian hotels, so you have to buy a taxi ride to meet them. They tell you a time to meet, but it is in the wrong time zone. The big perk is that you skip the long lines at the Brazil border.... but then they leave you at some tourist trap souvenir shop with rocks for 45 minutes.

2-3 hours is recommended, if you have time to spend the day is best, has the macuo safari, trails to cycle through the jungle, things you need time whenever the weather accompanies.
Super great experience. Sergio our guide organized everything great. First class service. We had through him the best places never had to wait, even the border crossing went smoothly through Sergio . Bravo 👏 Very informative, helpful, attentive and friendly. Great views and good entertainment. You can really recommend this trip and is worth his money. Everything was great!!!👏👏👏
How can I tell you! Breathtaking this park can be visited in 5 hours taking its time but without making the boat for the falls we made the falls so plan an hour more and a more sustained pace but really nice little detail do not forget your jersey and put it on before taking the key 🔑 for the locker you have changing rooms right next door attention sensitive soul abstain we really go under the falls a real passage to the washing machine an impressive flow!! But superb experience watch out for your bags during photos because coatis use in very funny to see 😍
Ein unvergessliches und unbeschreiblich beeindruckendes Erlebnis. Ein absolutes highlight! Jederzeit gerne wieder
Excellent tour. An excellent guide. (Sebastian) a great experience to see the falls by air and by land. Park the birds very nice
Vielen Dank.
Place well preserved Many stairs to go down and up the waterfalls Clean Bathroom Lunch Restaurant Bus that takes near the Falls from where you buy the ticket Private parking
Nous avons eu un guide super . BRUNO.👍👍👍très professionel, sympathique, attentionné. Très heureux de l avoir eu.
Rien à redire, Antoine notre guide parlait français, parfait... tout etait parfait mes ados ont adoré
If you want to enjoy Iguaçu Falls, the one and only hotel in the park, 45 Das Forte, recommends Catalatus, which is right in front of the hotel. Enjoy the waterfall on your feet on the day of your stay. Or a helicopter tour over a waterfall. The next day was a waterfall on the Argentine side. On the second day, we joined a boat tour. We recommend booking a tour guide in advance with a Japanese speaking guide in Japan if possible. Of course, if you're fluent in English and Portuguese, no problem.
