A fantastic day hiking to idyllic waterfalls, showering in the spray and swimming in the natural pools. A great change from the mass crowds of the big falls at Iguazu (or Iguaçu), and with water you can actually dive into. The guide, André, was friendly and funny and skilled and full of great stories about the rivers and the forest. There were guavas growing everywhere, which made a perfect right-off-the-tree snack. Do the full day -- you will be very happy you did. Highest recommendation.

Had an exhilarating trek with an amazing guide Camile! She was so knowledgeable about the various trails, took us at our own pace and challenged us with some fairly rugged terrain. We are both 58 and hike a lot in the mountains of Colorado and would rate some of the paths as moderate and some as difficult due to climbing over rocks and some steep inclines. The views were great and the waterfalls beautiful. Our guide couldn’t have been better!!
This locally owed business is a great example of sustainable, eco tourism. The guides put our safety first and shared their wealth of knowledge about the area. Surprising, the lunch was bountiful and regional. Each stop was an amazing waterfall where we could swim and take pictures. This adventure made Iguaçu something I could participate in instead of just observe. Oh, and if you’re wondering if it’s too difficult, I’m over 50 and not in particularly good shape and I was fine.
The whole-day tour with Camily was the highlight of our trip to Foz do Iguaçu! In the morning, we did two trails with waterfalls. One of us enjoyed jumping into the water at any opportunity while the other one enjoyed the moment and the scenery. Both of us had a great time. After a super tasty buffet at a local shop, we went for the third tour, which was a great combination of hiking and swimming. All the time, Camily was a wonderful guide, showing us plants on the way or telling us about Foz. We enjoyed her company.
We had some spare time and came accross this secret falls tour and decided to give it a go. Wow so glad we did. Our tour guide Jeferson spoke great english and was very engaging. My adult daughter and I just had the best day treking through the jungle to reach these hidden falls, the majority of which we were the only ones there. A very special day. Thanks for the great memories!
What a great hike! My sons (16 and 17 years) had so much fun and so had I. Nice walks and some great challenges along de way, in a very relaxing atmosphere. Thanks Andre for this day!
The tour was amazing!! Our tour guide was Jeferson, he did a wonderful job explaining everything and telling us more details about the area and the beautiful nature. We had so much fun exploring and enjoying the stunning waterfalls. Thank you Jeferson!!
Roberto was my tour guide for the day and what an amazing tour guide he is! He knows the area pretty well, not only did he take his time explaining all the fauna but he was patient and fun at the same time, we visited all the waterfalls and much more! I would definitely recommend this tour and also Roberto for the guide, he speaks english very well (which is a rarity in Brazil) and also spanish and Portuguese, you will have a blast with him, worth every penny!
Too expensive for what they offer $60 USD I will give 2 starts because Roberto the tour guide was really nice and very competent in his job. I did the full day tour and I regret it. They’re a few trails and for each one you need to drive. They offer one tour in the morning and another one in the afternoon. If you are doing the full day; after you finish in the morning you need to drive to the hotel the people that are only doing the tour in the morning and go to pick up people that are going to join the tour in the afternoon…. I wish I knew that information before join this tour. The trails are nice. Keep in mind to take enough water with you and hiking shoes.
My partner and I were lucky enough to have Roberto as our guide for this tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. We left it the morning to with another couple from Sao Paulo who were doing the half day tour so in the afternoon it was just us and Roberto for the second half of the day. It was a pleasant surprise to see how adventurous and off the beaten path this tour is, with a lot of scrambling over rocks, up waterfalls and through the thick Atlantic Forest. Each waterfall is unique with my favourite being the waterfall onto the Iguazu river that contains a natural one person infinity pool. The water in all of them is wonderfully clean and a perfect temperature. We were fed lunch at a buffet style restaurant that is included in the package. It was some of the best food we have had on out trip. Make sure you wear clothes that you are happy to get wet because you will be soaking the whole time. We brought a back pack but it was not necessary. The lunch meant we didn't need snacks, the tour provides water and our guide took many photos and videos so we didn't need to take a camera or phone. This is definitely a highlight if you want to do something adventurous (not dangerous except for jaguars and pumas) and see some beautiful bit less touristy places.
Amazing day! We did the full day tour of the waterfalls. Our guide was Roberto, he was absolutely fantastic. So knowledgeable about the forest and the waterfalls. And so passionate about the environment and his job. He was a pleasure to spend the day with. He took many great photos and videos for us as well. The waterfalls were incredible, we saw 10 different waterfalls and swam at every stop. Some of the waterfalls are on private property so we felt very lucky to see them. Definitely a special experience that you can't do on your own. Would highly recommend this tour. They are a small team who are passionate about making every experience special.
This was possibly the best thing that I have done in Brazil after being here for over 4 months. Francisco and Roberto made it such an intimate and educational trip. They know everything there is to know about wildlife in the Atlantic forest and really care about it too.
One of the best tours I have ever done in my life. And our guide Roberto is absolutely fantastic. I booked a full day trip, and in the afternoon, it was just me and Roberto (VIP tour). We had amazing lunch (price included) and we swam a lot in rivers and lakes and waterfalls. He has shown me great passion and respect for our mother nature, the river, the fungi and how to protect the great nature (by picking up trash along our hiking trip). Then he nicely took me to the airport with a free ride. I strongly recommend this tour to its maximum.
An amazing experience, such fun and Andre was caring, safety conscious and a really fun guide who could not do enough for us, highly recommend this tour
The tour was one of the highlight for my trip to Iguazú waterfall. With the hiking trails, I was able to get closer to the forest and, of course, took some refreshing waterfall showers. My guide Andre was attentive, experienced and full of positive energy. :-)
Amazing experience with really helpful and friendly guides. We got to explore all the secret waterfalls and had a great lunch half way through. The trails were very fun and thanks to the amazing guides we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
It was a great day, well planned and amazing tour guides.. who were extremely knowledgeable in every way!
It was a great experience. Guides were speaking several languages and were supporting and nice! I recommend this activity where you can understand better the nature and enjoy the rivers and the falls.
O melhor tour de Foz. Obrigada. Cachoeras. The staff is amazing Specialy Fraeedry and Andre. This is highky recommended
It was an incredible experience and the guide was very good and took some incredible souvenir photos of me.
I like to explore the places I travel and I found that Foz do Iguaçu is not just Waterfalls. Together with two other friends, we went to explore the hidden waterfalls. as directly by the establishment did not parcel, cotrate via agency, but did all right. We arrived early at the campsite, but owner André gave us attention until the arrival of the Colombian guide Andrés. Mega attentive, gave us safety instructions, advised on the use of the shoes that have in the location to rent, we went helmet throughout the circuit and wearing vest for nothing in the River Iguaçu. The trails are little explored and the flow of water was low, but it was an unparalleled experience, with a lot of technical and historical knowledge of the guide Andrés and always surrounded by safety and care. I even raped in one of the waterfalls and nothing in Rio, it was magnificent. Sorry the day wasn't hot. Lunch at the site of the basic camping, but fresh and tasty (the part). It is great for those who like nature trails, waterfalls and explore the corners of the cities.
Unique experience, excellent service, very professional guide, amazing waterfalls! The Secret Falls site is unparalleled, very well wooded, with a restaurant and wonderful food!
Immersive experience, apart from the obvious where you have the opportunity to connect with nature in an amazing way, the guide further enriches the tour with their vast knowledge, is a tour that I highly recommend that everyone do because they will not regret
If you are looking for something to do in Foz do Iguaçu beyond the Falls, Iguassu Secret Falls was one of the best experiences of our trip. The combination of trails, waterfalls, preserved nature and contact with traditional communities allowed us to know an authentic and little explored side of the destination. The guides are excellent, the tour is safe and the landscapes are amazing. For those who like ecotourism, adventure and genuine experiences, I consider one of the best attractions and one of the main things to do in Foz do Iguaçu. I highly recommend.
I did the Secret Falls trail for the second time with Secret Falls and I loved it. Guide Andres Davi super attentive and clearly has a lot of love for what he does. I learned too much from him and want to go back to other tracks. Organized agency that leaves an incredible legacy for City of Foz: the love of the environment and the care of Ecotourism.
A fantastic experience. Amarilla and André are super nice and kind people. Great guides. I will definitely go on more trails with them again. Thank you for providing such a nice day in connection with nature. Congratulations on the work of vcs.
We did an acquatrecking and it was wonderful... Take plenty of disposition and especially be in shape to withstand the walk...👍👍 We went with the guide Amarilla who will give us a precious lesson... I recommend!!!
The guide Andrés was very attentive, always explaining the route and taking care of the safety of the group. However, the whole day walk does not make up: the morning waterfalls are in urban rivers, with a strong smell of sewage, which generates concern about the water quality. In the afternoon the tour improves considerably, with more preserved waterfalls and the possibility to swim in the River Iguaçu. Given the general experience, the amount paid was not justified. I suggest that the tour be only half-shift, focused on the afternoon attractions.
Amazing experience. Even though I had never made a trail before and had been a challenge, I felt super welcomed and safe, especially because of Francisco Amarilla, who guided us so well and in such a fun way. A unique experience to explore and appreciate our nature with other good people ♡ Congratulations to Secret Falls!
An incredible experience. No words to describe. I did the trail all day. Andress is a very light person who explains every detail very well. I was alone with him in the morning and did not feel embarrassed at any time (I say this because I am a woman), respectful, very professional. I had a problem with my phone and he immediately prompted to help me. Note 1000 pro instructor, pro lunch which is a delight pro walk that is just enjoy and relax. Immersion in nature and the history of the Foz do Iguaçu Rivers. Now I feel like an authentic Iguaçu.
Andres was a top guide we could jump in good places, swim in waterfalls and learn a lot about nature
It was a surreal and unforgettable experience. The waterfalls are really secret and beautiful; the trails, clean and with a level of difficulty from light to moderate; the safety equipment is new and fits with all looks. The guide André was amazing — he explained about the waterfalls, the origin of their names, left me at ease, helped me and still followed my pace. In addition, he recorded the most beautiful memories of this paradise which is Foz do Iguaçu. Diving in the River Iguaçu was an experience that I didn’t even know I needed to live. Thank you, André and Iguassu Secret Falls team!
It has been a fantastic experience where we have trekked through a very little-traveled jungle, we have been explained the native flora and fauna. We have crossed rivers and tributaries, and our guide Andrés, has been very attentive at all times of us. We did 3 routes and all with its charm, the spectacular waterfalls, we have bathed in the Iguazu River. Andres, thank you very much for all your involvement, we were very lucky to match you. RECOMMENDATIONS: - Suitable for all people with medium level on mountain routes, and for people who play sports regularly. -Wear shoes with a sole that slides as little as possible, as you cross rivers, walk on large stones and the terrain is clay. -Wear water, long-sleeved T-shirt and long pants, change clothes and swimming trunks.
All impeccable since the guide Andreas who was super attentive and patient. The girl who received me, are super punctual and organized. I highly recommend. The waterfalls are spectacular
Quite an adventure, a hike with lots of adrenaline, the reward of which is a great barbecue. Delicious food, excellent service.
Great experience, from beginning to end, everything as planned, and high quality security equipment, very cool every moment
For those who like adventure, trails, waterfalls and very green, accompanied by a very good instructor, I recommend super for those who like.
Wonderful experience we take several photos, the team of guides always helping and explaining everything about the locations during the journey.
Simply an amazing walk, connected with nature, felt very well, the Guia Kauano simply wonderful, very attentive, friendly, we made friends with the staff along the trail that simply wonderful, this defines the Secret Falls tour, congratulations Guia Kauano for all your affection and attention with us
Very attentive guide, super recommend 🙌 the tour was done on many trails with unique views of wonderful waterfalls
It was an incredible experience! The guides were super friendly and we met a differentiated from Foz! The waterfall baths were very good. And lunch is not even spoken, very deliciousooo!! They provide security equipment (helmet and vest) and anyone who wants can rent the appropriate shoes. I highly recommend!!
A surreal experience, with a nice staff, forgive me but I forgot the name of the girl who was our leader, but she was incredible, had patience with me, I barely could walk, because I was tava and I am overweight, but taking that, the walk was incredible, she took us in several waterfalls, I had a long time that I did not track, it was very productive my day, lots of photos, super attentive. Thank you all group of the secret waterfalls.
We did the full-day family outing with my children aged 7, 12 and 13. At their request, I take a moment to leave our review and our 5 stars. A day before the tour, we were joined by a WhatsApp group with the guide Camilly and another participant, where they reminded us of the preparations, the schedule and the meeting point. From our accommodation in the center of Foz we took an Uber and arrived in less than 10 minutes. The first half hour was spent signing consents, equipping ourselves with a helmet and safety vest, and receiving Camilly’s explanation of the tour. We leave in the company car, similar in size to the tourist taxis in the area (maximum 8 people). In 15 minutes we reach the first trail, where we walk surrounded by the lush Amazon rainforest and find small waterfalls along the way. Camilly made the tour even more interesting by telling us about the trees, flowers and seeds that made the waterfalls foamy and soapy in texture. The boys kept pace smoothly and enjoyed each waterfall, which increased in flow as we went. About 10:30 we finish the first trail and drive to the next one, about 15 minutes away. In this part we wore vests because the waterfalls had deeper waters. It was certainly the best leg of the morning. On the way back to the car, the youngest of my children felt tired, especially since in one section of the trail there were ants that took advantage of every step to climb and sting us. It was lunchtime and, on the way to the base, our excursion partner (from Canada) got off near his inn, as he had booked only the half day. At the base we were surprised by the lunch buffet. We didn’t know if the food was really a 10 or if post-trail hunger influenced, but my kids insisted I leave 5 stars at lunch! After lunch, we relaxed a few minutes in the Paraguayan hammocks next to the restaurant, where we even took a small nap. At 13:30 we set off for new trails. We parked in front of a luxury condo under construction. Machinery and laborers were at work, and the entrance to the trail was clogged by remains of trees and plants. Camilly found an alternative access and we were able to continue. During the first 10 minutes of walking, we passed a road with a brick wall on one side and the jungle on the other, which generated a chat with the boys about the contrast between urbanization and nature. It started to drizzle and the post-lunch downhill made us hesitant to follow or not, but Camilly managed to distract us with more teachings about the trees and we got on the trail. The first waterfall was much higher and different from the morning, which made us confirm that it was worth continuing. Then we came to an area with mini pools on the edge of a cliff (not suitable for people with vertigo!), but which my children loved. The trail had steep descents and, with the drizzle, the terrain was more slippery. Camilly accompanied us at all times. Finally, we reached the Paraná River, where we got into the rain with vests and a beautiful waterfall. Getting the boys out of the water was difficult because they were fascinated: swimming under the waterfall, the water temperature, the green landscape around, floating upside down and getting carried away with the current was an unforgettable experience. The climb was easier than the descent and, until the last moment in the car, Camilly kept teaching us about the vegetation. He showed us plants that give water in emergencies, hollow plants where ants live, and we tasted fruits that we didn't know existed. Back, Camilly dropped us off at our Airbnb. My children were very fond of her and at night they commented on how amazing the excursion had been with her. The final surprise came when I checked my phone and saw the photos and videos it took: GOD level! This girl is talented at many things. I leave my comment because they really deserve it, although I am a little afraid that this very personalized adventure will become as famous and we end up lining up en masse as on the trails of the Falls. Congratulations to the team and a giant hug to Camilly! We're gonna miss you!
I loved the waterfalls, warm waters, easy access to the waterfall, easy trails. Attention and care of the guide were perfect.
