Punctual hotel pick up very early and off to the Falls. Ana Carolina was a very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable guide who managed to add me to the Brazil side too, plus an unforgettable boat ride under the Falls. You'll get soaked, there and on the final photo shoot at the end of the tour. Be warned. My trainers are still drying out - and it's the next day. Weather was terrible, torrential rain, but coming from Scotland I'm used to it. It did not dampen our spirits and we enjoyed every aspect of it. Lunch could have been a little longer but we had time for coffee and snacks at the end. The Falls were truly spectacular, from both sides - and under. There's a fabulous walkway right out into the middle. Again, you'll get wet! A once in a lifetime sight. Dropped off at our hotels afterwards and straight under a hot shower this time. Just fantastic!

Itinerary
Get inside the National Park and see the amazing waterfalls. There's not much in the world that compares to the 275 waterfalls that make up stunning Iguassu Falls, which straddles the border of Brazil and Argentina and sits not far from Paraguay. On this tour, you'll travel from Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, to Iguazú National Park in Argentina to explore the Upper Circuit and Devil's Throat.
Once the tour started, every 30 min a train leaves to the superior part of the falls. First stop is the most traditional point, after the bus or van drive through the park until reach the point to start the trails and walkaways; in the end of the trail, you will find the Garganta do Diabo, the biggest waterfall in the park. Garganta do Diabo (Devil´s throat) is a footbridge of 2080 meters that give access to one of the most beautiful natural spectacles on earth. Make a stop to behold and absorb all the nature and landscape around.
Start the second part of the tour, Called Circuito Superior (Upper Circuit). When you reach the top, you will be able to see all the high points of the park. If it is a sunny day, you will watch a gorgeous rainbow. There you can visit six observatories and spaces that you can relax and appreciate the view. The Upper Circuit, which is wheelchair accessible, allows you to see the top of the majestic falls on the Argentina side and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the area. The view stretches from the Argentinian falls to San Martin Island and parts of the Brazilian falls.
If you choose the option with Brazilian side of the falls, you will have the chance to get a different and also beautiful perspective of the falls. This must-see tour provides an unforgettable view formed by the massive group of waterfalls of Iguassu. Once inside the park, the van or bus will drive until you reach the trails and walkways that face the falls. We will walk 40 minutes to 1 hour through the trails and walkways facing the falls on the Brazilian side and panoramic view of the Argentinian side

We booked a tour with Civitatis. Amazing experience. Excellent tour guide. Easy to book. Good communication. Would recommend
Our Guide Roberto was excellent, arrived on time, kept the group moving and introduced us to one of the most amazing places on the Planet ( and I have been to 105 countries) . This trip is simply a must do. But don’t do the two country version. Each side needs its own day! Now for some logistics. The tour operator strongly advises buying the actual entry ticket on line before you go. Follow this advice if you enjoy root canals. Five credit cards and two debit cards later we finally gave up. The reason given to buy ahead of time is that Argentine credit card machines at the Entry gate are “unreliable” Funny that the machine at the gift shop had no problem taking my 7 US dollars for an ice cream. The entry ticket problem was solved by our guide who arranged US dollar to peso exchange at the border. This was an expensive exchange ( ie the 30 dollar ticket now cost 40 but in the end what choice was there?). I would suggest doing the Brazilian trip as a separate day ( and do the boat ride on that side so as to mazimize the Argentine experience. Which is the best side?? What side of your face do you prefer?
Our tour wasn't what we expected. We choose only the Argentinian side of the Iguazu falls but the bus had more people that had to go to the Brazilian side. Because of that we had to whole tour in a RUSH matter. We were supposed to take the "circuito inferior" but the train time we had to take to see the "garganta del diablo" was very short we took the "circuito superior". We wanted to see the falls from the other perspective. The park was really crowded and we had to walk very fast the whole time. The Falls we very impressive. We would enjoy it more if the time schedule wasn't so rush the whole time.
This was an awesome tour!! I was a solo female, and I think it’s best to do a tour like this so that you have a group and feel safe. Also, definitely worth the price to have a guide take you to both sides (get you through customs in Argentina, inform you about the history and science behind the falls). We saw lots of wildlife despite it being quite chilly! Bhrenno was a great guide and made sure everyone was comfortable.
Our guide Henrique was really helpful, insightful and funny during the whole tour. We managed to get ahead of a huge crowd with his arrangements
Over the top fantastic, bhranno was fantastic, very knowledgeable and courteous. He showed us things of nature we would have never been aware of.
Amazing day trip!! We loved seeing the Argentinian side of the Iguacu falls. Roberto was a great guide, he was very informative and flexible, willing to work with the group to make the most of our experience. The only thing I would say is that it wasn’t clear when we were booing that this is a FULL DAY tour. We thought we would have time in the afternoon back at our hotel or to see another attraction after getting back, and this really took all day. Knowing that, I would book again!
Meri was an amazing guide. Saw the greatest natural wonder of our lives! We hope to return in the future to take the tour again with other family members.
We had a fantastic trip to the Argentina side of the falls. Our guide Eli was great throughout- she picked us up on time, and dealt with the border crossing and the timings of each section of the park so we could just enjoy the beautiful falls.
They picked me up on the Brazilian side. The guide was very good and stayed with the group the whole time. The falls were beautiful and we got to see Devils Throat! No lunch included so bring food or there are places to purchase.
Bhrennon was an exceptional guide.. so knowledgeable and answered all questions put to him. He has a passion for the Falls and wildlife and this made the experience very enjoyable. The Falls are breathtaking .. while we had to pay for visas into Argentina and other taxes … it was all well worth the money… highly recommend.
It was great to have a guide take us to the Argentinian side of the Falls from Foz do Iguaçu. Makes the border crossing quick and effortless. Because we had 2 people in our group that had opted for the Brazilian side on the same day, I felt like we were rushing around to make sure they would have enough time for the second part of their tour. I picked a tour of just the Argentinian size specifically because I didn't want to be rushed. The people in the group should all be doing the same thing so we're not on someone else's schedule.
Our hotel was in the Brazil side of the falls and we were collected from our hotel and brought across the border with the tour guide. This took the stress out of the border for us. Remember to bring your passport! Our guide Roberto was amazing he knew everything about the falls and his enthusiasm brought the trip to life. We did the half day Argentina side of the trip and were dropped back to our hotel after an amazing day at the falls. I definitely recommend doing the full day, Brazil and Argentina side with this tour if you have a limited amount of time in Iguazu. We split it into two sepeprate days as we had more time to do so. But both would be amazing with this tour guide!
Excellent trip. Meri was a great tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting the falls.
I cannot recommend this excursion enough. The tour operator communicated well with us throughout, picked us up at our AirBnB, and provided opportunities for additional excursions. Roberto, our guide, was informative and engaging. He clearly loves the falls and the flora and fauna surrounding them. It was great to get local history as well as information on local wildlife from him. Book this tour and get up close and personal with one of the Wonders of the Natural World.
Excellent guide, Roberto from Venezuela, made the experience memorable. We visited both sides at an appropriate pace. It was a bit crowded, but manageable. The info provided was concise and help ful.
Fantastic! Bruno was an excellent guide; got us there early to beat the queues and kept us well informed throughout!
Our tour guide, Robert, was fantastic! He was friendly and knowledgeable. We were surprised and excited that it was just us in the group... And it sounded like his company did the smaller more individualized tours. It is really cool to walk through the jungle on the paths to the waterfalls. We enjoyed the lower loop seeing the waterfalls from the front more than from above, but both loops were still great. Unfortunately, the water was so high from rains that Devils Throat was closed at this time. Still, there are so many waterfalls, it is amazing. There was a lot of walking, but it was worth it! It was really fun to get the view from both sides, as we had done the Brazil side on our own the day before and we were glad that we had then on different days.
Excellent guide, excellent experience at the falls, all around very happy with my trip! The guide was on time with everything, knew the best way to experience the falls to avoid the crowds and the blazing sun. I really enjoyed both days, the falls will blow you away!! Highly recommend adding the boat trip, it was 100% worth it!!
A well-planned trip. Great experience. I was picked up on time, and everything else on the itinerary, in spite of the many different "moving parts" was executed smoothly and professionally. The only thing I would have changed was the amount of information shared regarding the history of the place, but in the end, this is something that one can easily read about independently. I took the combined trip to both sides and also thought that a little more info on how lunch worked on the Brazilian side should have been offered. But everything regarding the tour itself was great - just the right amount of walking, just the right amount of time at various locations, just the right balance to give you a good experience and a feel for the place. I have to point out that the weather, the border crossing, and the size of the group can change all of this easily, so a certain amount of luck is mixed in. The guide was great. Do I wish he had better English - yes, but it was manageable, and to my surprise, English speaking turned out to be a problem in Brazil in general. It appears to be a chauvinistic issue - Brazil being friends with China, Russia and India, does not put her in the best of company this way. Even flights and airports there do not have announcements in English, so I was happy to get a guide who might not have spoken perfectly, but managed to communicate the basics.Overall, 5 stars.
It was a wonderful trip to the Argentinan side of the Iguazu Falls. The pick up was on time and the trip was very well organised. Antonio, our guide was very cheerful and helpful. He ensured our safety throughout the trip. Like other reviews said he is knowledgible and gave us interesting facts about the Iguazu Falls and the animals living there. It wasn’t too crowded on the Argentinan side and we had sufficient time to take photos and enjoyed ourselves. Devil’s Throat is definitely breath taking! It’s truly a memorable trip and I’d recommend this tour to my friends and family visiting Brazil/Argentina. Muito obrigada!
They made this a great and seamless experience. Antonio was very good! Very knowledgeable and truly enjoyed his job! Thank you very much! Very highly recommended!
Antonio excellent and Roberto the driver. Antonio shared so much interesting information with us…..was very friendly and well organised.
Pick up from our hotel was on time. We were taken to another meeting place where we waited some time for our guide to join us. We then traveled over the border. The guide dealt with immigration formalities on our behalf and it was reasonable quick to cross. The lines later were very long. We arrived at the falls to find out the price quoted for entry fee had doubled from peso 2800 to 5500. This info should have been available to us so the listing is not accurate. The guide was very helpful and we chose to do only the upper trail as we had not realised that to do both trails was around 4km to walk, some parts with steps. This info should be in the description of the tour in case like us you have mobility problems. We didn’t get the chance to do the train which was disappointing due to time constraints. This was because the rest of the group were continuing to the Brazilian side which we did the day before. If we had more time we could have done the first trail , had a break, then done the second trail. We then returned to Brazil and again the border crossing wasted some time. We honestly wish we had done this tour alone as we paid £77 just for transport and then to be rushed around due to them doing both sides the same day. The info provided by Gray Line is not accurate and communication was not great. To do justice to the falls we recommend doing each side on separate days if you have time especially if you can book a helicopter ride on the Brazilian side
We has a fantastic time. The tour was not over crowded and out guide Antonio was absolutely fabulous. We were picked up in Brazil in the morning and crossed over to Argentina. Antonio took care of all the paperwork. We did almost all the trails on the Argentinian side, except the Devil's Throat trail, which was closed due to excessive rain. We them made it back across the border to the Brazilian side for the afternoon. We had some lunch, followed by incredible panoramic views of the falls making our way towards Devil's throat. Overall, this was as smooth as any any adventure we've had and we saw something so incredible. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.
We had the best day! Fabio our guide met us with a big smile. He was ever so patient, kind and made sure of our safety all through out the tour. He answered most of our questions and at the same time shared as much info about the falls and the area itself. Having him as our guide made this trip more worthwhile. Parque National Iguazu blew us away. It was an experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend this tour and our amazing guide! Xxx
Definitely wouldn't recommend this tour since it is way easier to do everything yourself. Don't see the need for a tour guide - they don't give a lextra information that you can't find online or anything.
We have guide Aline. She is very fine, intresting guide .It was very good organized. It was very intredting tour.
Fantastic to see la gaganta de la diablo ! To be so close. Will bring some friends next time, where alone this time.
the driver Gel was excellent made the crossing of the boarder from Brasil to Argentina seamless Gel was very helpful with the going forms needed for the boarder going and coming back to Foz Do Igaucu. A great day was had and would recommend this tour.
We bought full day trip to Argentinian iguazu fall. The trip was suppose to include the return transfer from Foz do Iguazu (Brazil), garganta del diablo, lower and upper circuts. Apart from both of us there was an older lady 67years old). When we reached the bridge to the garganta del diablo we said yo our guide that we will go faster to spend there more time so she( our guide) can go slower with the older lady. Our guide agreed and said she would be waiting for us. When we came back we waited 1 hour fir the guide and as we could not get any wifi to write to our guide we decided to go to lower circut were we immediately called the agency asking where is our guide. We thought that something had happed to the older lady. To start with no one spoke English or Spanish do it was difficult to communicate. We said were we are and asked where is the guide and we were she is at the exit of the park it was around noon so half a day of our trip. We went only to lower circut as we were afraid we would run out of our time. When we went to the exit (we still had time till the end of our trip) we searched for our guide, for the car ...our guide left without trying to call us or make sure someone else would take us back to Brazil. She took also the money for the tourist tax. We found wifi and wrote her were she was but she replied that she waited for us 1 hour but the older lady was tired so SHE LEFT. After that she switched of her whats up. We were very stressed and we called again the agency and waited 1,5 hours for another guide who finished full day trip with other customer and went with them back to Brazil. Please be aware as this was a serious negligence of safety. Something might have happened to us but the guide which we paid for did not bother to take care our safety, did not tried to call us to make sure we are ok, left us in the foreign country without help. We asked for the refund but we were informed that we can get 25£ discount for the next trip which we will never book again. Just the calls we made on roaming in Argentina would be much more than 25 pounds. Unfortunately we will not get any refund hence we would like to warn everyone so nobody will experience what we have had.
The falls were very good but they wouldn't let us go down to the lower trail. At the end we were dropped off at a horrible buffet where we had to spend one hour. At that time our guide left without informing us. The driver came back and couldn't speak a word of English so he couldn't answer questions. The tour guide had been very nice. However her English wasn't good enough to understand certain questions so were were confused at times. Plus we didn't get a bathroom break at the end of the tour.
Our guide was excellent, and made the trip super easy from border crossing to viewing all the circuits at the falls. He also took us to lunch at a local churrascaria on the Brazil side before ending the tour!
We wee crammed into a small tour van at 7 in the morning, then driven around for an hour picking others up at different hotels. We were crammed into seats like sardines- no legroom or arm room, every single seat taken. The guide was pleasant, but she spoke very poor English and very little Spanish. Inside the van, we had to wait for 30 minutes to go through Brazilian border control and another 30 minutes at the Argentinian control. Once in the park, we had to pay for our park tickets, only to learn that the Argentinian side only took cash. Our guide got us through border control and helped secure tickets at the park for us. When entering the park, she did not look back at us, and we were walking slowly with two small children. We fell off the back of the group and she didn’t notice for a while. The train to the devil’s throat was super packed, four to a row. Once at the Devils throat, there was more waiting, then a .75 mile walk across bridges to get to the falls. The falls themselves were magnificent and well worth the trip. The kids, 7 and 9, were complaining most of the time about the 93 degree heat. After that, we took another slow, cramped train to the upper and lower loops to the other falls. Most of the group wanted the lower walk, because it has better views. My kids were hot and tired and didn’t want steps, so we took the easier upper path. The guide went with the other group, so we were left on our own. The guide told us nothing about the Falls, and the only “guiding” she did was to say things like, trains now, bathroom now, meet here, etc. Our loop took less than one hour, but the other one took over two hours, so we had to wait around for the other to walk and eat. We were basically sitting around on our own for two hours, just waiting for people to get back. On the return trip, we pulled over to the side to wait. We sat packed in the van for 20 minutes outside a Show place, not being told what we were waiting for. Eventually, we found out that some passengers had another tour after the Argentinian falls. 20 minutes later, we found out that we were the ones with the other tour to the Brazilian side of the falls! We were left to wait for ano5er driver at the Churrasco place. Luckily, the other driver came ten minutes later in a private car and took us to the Brazilian falls. He was wonderful, attentive, kind, and accommodating. He stayed with us, helped us, advised us, etc. I would suggest calling him or someone like him instead of group tour.
From the Brazilian side, one has a great panoramic view of the entire Falls. From Argentina side one can get in close proximity to the water.falling down.. At the viewing platforms along the meandering boardwalks at various elevations one feel the sheer might of nature up-close. For more exhilarating experience there are boat trips for a shower of life being bathed by hundreds of hosepipes hitting the face. The shrieks come out spontaneously. .It is a worthwhile adventure.
I did not get picked up and sadly, I had to book another agency for the trip. How do I get a refund?

It was ok, but not what I booked: a guided tour in English (minus 1 star)
The bus was awful, not enough space for our legs (minus 2 star).
The price was definitely to high

The tour was well organized and secure! Jose was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay not only at the Argentinean side of the falls but on our trip to Foz. She spoke Spanish and Portuguese so those that only spoke Engilsh on our tour were just translated to by the rest. The tour itself started right on time and took us across the border with no issue and to the Iguazu Falls Park. Jose dealt with the ticketing and lines so it was a relaxing ride without having to worry about a thing. The falls were a spectacular phenomenon with an energy that can only be described by being there. Because we were a large group we didn't have to worry about being paired with other tourists but be prepared for crowds of people flooding the walkways in the main trail. We had a nice walk that took us to the less crowded lower views of the falls and then later headed up up to the bridge walkways over the river. The tour ended with a drive back to Brazil and dinner at a traditional Brazilian buffet and meat grill. It was a little expensive if you aren't a meat eater coming to about 70 reals per person. It is a popular tour guide location so many vendors sell things out front and the inside is filled with tourist. Overall it was a delicious and great experience. If you are struggling to decide between seeing the Argentinean side of the falls or the Brazilian side, I'm here to tell you that you should see both. On the Argentinean side, you get up close and personal with the water and a beautiful trail. On the Brazilian side you get to really see the expanse of the entire landscape of Iguazu like you could never imagine of the Argentinean side and a similar close and personal feel at the Devils Throat. Overall Amazing, hassle-free tour and would definitely recommend!

The pick up was on time. The bus was comfortable. The guide was able, kept everything under control, trying to please everyone; pleasant demanour. Most of the day went by waiting at the border and queing up for almost anything else. Horribly crowded. It was even hard to get a good glimpse of the beautiful waterfalls. Drop off at the hotel.

The tour itself was great but it was cut short because one of the attendees needed to get to the airport which I found unacceptable in the extreme. To have an entire group of people who all paid full price sacrifice a part of their tour for one individual is poor planning on the side of the tour operator, they should have declined her attendance or placed her on another tour.

It is not so easy to appreciate the beauty of the Iguassu-Falls when thousands of other people want to see the same Falls at the same time but with a bit of patience it is possible to see 'all'.

What a wonderful site. The guide was calm and took us around at a leisurely pace. He helped point out many items that we probably would have missed without him. This area is on our list for a revisit since it is so large and wounderous that it will take multiple trips to really see it without all the awe that first time visitors would have. A long day well worth the price.

An absolutely amazing and breathtaking experience. The views of the falls from the Brazilian side are great but they are far far better from the Argentinian side.

This was great, getting through boarder control was so easy and the park is absolutely amazing. Definitely go for this if you want to see the falls and are nervous about getting across boarder control.

The guide is very helpful who knows the place well. It just give you enough time to visit the Argentinaian side in the morning, so you can do the Brazilian side in the afternoon. Worth the value!

Well worth the time and money - gives a totally unique perspective on these great falls

The trip was perfect. The guide tour did a great job to guide us around especially to pursue as per our request and b flexible in anything. Thank you for making our this as a memorable trip. I remember the quote from our guide that Argentina falls is to feel the falls while Brazil falls is to see how awesome it is. The boat trip to feel the falls is a must. Please request to the guide. Additional charge is required but surely that you will get a great experience there!

Late arrival of shuttle 1 1/2 hours. Had tried to call and confirm pickup twice the previous day: first time the phone was answered but no one said anything, the second time no answer. Eventually the hotel managed to get hold of the right people in the morning of the tour. The guide was efficient, helped us get a boat tour and made sure we got there in time. We had bad luck with the weather, heavy rain. The falls were still an amazing experience.

The Falls are breath-taking! Both the Argentinian and Brazilian side ! We breezed through the immigration even though it was a Sunday. As we didn't speak Portuguese, we were a little lost in the commentary. The English commentary was much shorter. Be prepared to walk to see various views of the Falls.Seriously, you must wear good walking shoes!! Take videos of the Falls to capture the sheer grandeur of waterfall at the Devil's Throat. Don't forget to try the Argentinian buffet as the lunch area. Food is much cheaper and meats much better than in the Brazilian side. Our guide and driver sped us back to catch our flight back!! Thank you for an amazing trip!
