From the beginning… we were never communicated a pick up time and spent the entire previous day trying to reach them to figure it out. Email finally worked. Next, they show up an hour after the tour start time. The van holds 16 people and we had 16 people. unfortunately one seat has the overhead where i had to hunch into and i was bent over trying to just not hurt my neck. the guide himself was less than helpful. had one sentence of information to share, and poorly articulated expectations, what we were doing, what to do, etc. As a group we just started doing things and making sure we all just found each other. the tour overall felt cheap and very assembly line. I reccomend ubering to the falls, picking up a map, and doing it all your self using the falls bus system.

Enjoy the Porto Canoas gastronomic center (meal not included) and the park’s souvenir shop.

Horrible experience. Do not book with this tour operator. They did not show up to pick up for your. The hotel calmed. Viator was useless. Tour operator say we are at the wrong hotel 2 when our confirmation clearly shows our hotel. They claimed they tried to call me on a number that is not mine. For 3 days prior I tried to contact your operator with no response. Again Viator was useless. Save yourself some trouble. Do not book this
Absolutely great trip! The boat safari was just absolutely incredible!! The wet boat is a MUST. As a young group of adults we have never laughed so hard! Bring swimwear and a complete change of clothes - definitely helps!! Our guide was absolutely lovely and gave us so much information, and still let us have enough time to explore.
Excellent experience! Good place to see! Beautiful views, sightseeing and waterfalls! And macuco boat is the must interesting experience!
Initially, the communication was good. We had Wederson as our guide who is very friendly and helpful. Although we had received the itinerary saying it included the bird park on the way to the Falls, it's not the case. After the first part, the walk, we had lunch and waiting for the second part, the boat ride. For some reasons, our group seems needing to be reorganized and rearranged with other groups. That was a bit chaotic and took quite a while to sort out. By the time we arrived the boat ride, it was nearly 3 pm. And then we still have to wait for tickets, which again took quite a while as the tour members were all in a queue. Although it's all good at the end, the tour did take over 8 hours to complete, mostly due to the wait between lunch and boat ride. Could have been better organised.
The walk on the Brazilian side had the best views and was shorter than the Argentinian side. Junior, the guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. The fast boat ride down the river and under a couple of waterfalls was exciting and, take a poncho - we did but we still got a little wet. There was an item on the texted itinerary (the Bird park) that we didn’t do but, overall, it was a spectacular experience and well worth doing.
The falls are up there with the best sights in the world. No words can describe them. Our driver Luis made this potentially complicated trip between the borders of Argentina and Brazil so simple and guided us along the spectacular walk dominated by the hundreds of waterfalls. The boat trip up through the rapids and skirting under falls too was a unique experience. I suggest the use of the lockers in the shop for your back up etc. also I would buy a waterproof cover for my smartphone to allow photos in the spray and also a plastic cover you as it does get pretty wet
The Falls are amazing but not worth €374 .. there was no tour guide just a driver who collected us, wasted an hour bringing us to shops we had no interest in and then dropped us off at the falls… picked us up again to bring us to the boat trip and that was it. Boat trip well worth it.
Was a fun ride especially the speed and then the falls Having the spray of the falls left you with the refreshing feeling
This was amazing. From start to finish the experience itself was fantastically planned. Weda was incredible and very knowledgeable.
Our guide, Joao, was energetic, enthusiastic and helpful throughout the 8 hours, weaving between languages fluidly. We enjoyed all the events of the day which ended with the excitement of the boat ride. It was also a pleasure chatting and laughing with a very nice group of fellow passengers. The only downside to the day was some extended stand and wait times between different parts of the trip (especially in areas where the bugs were biting). Perhaps a tighter schedule with less downtime between excursions? Any lineups moved smoothly. The start to the day was also delayed due to a marathon on the same morning but that worked in our favour as we then had the option to fill in time with a visit to the Parque des Aves. A very big bonus!
Helpful MMC drivers. Very organised, explained what to do, where to go. Falls are amazing and Manuco safari & boatride was fab. MMC drivers also sorted us a taxi back over boarder from Brazil to hotel in Argentina 🙏🥰
Amazing experience, went with my parents, husband and 8 yr old daughter. Take a little ride then walk a bit get a life jacket and load onto a boat, they take you out to see the falls which is amazing… then you go under one of the small falls and doesn’t matter where you sit you get soaked. I would recommend leaving your bag at the dock to ensure your belongings stay dry. I think our daughter had the best time she wanted to go again
On the day of our scheduled tour, we were not picked up. The phone number of the tour company was busy for two hours. Neither our hotel nor Viator was able to contact the tour operator until two hours after the scheduled pick-up. The tour operator said "we were not in their computer database." Viator had confirmed our tour arrangements just days before our trip. Fortunately, we were able to reschedule the tour on the day we were supposed go to the airport. No apology for the miscommunication from the tour operator. This was not a tour. We had a driver that picked us up and brought us back to the hotel. We did not see him at the site. No guiding. Just a time to meet for the return. The guide/driver spent 8 minutes reviewing the location map with the Brizilian couple (Portugese) and one minute with us in English. The Falls are spectacular, not to be missed. But it was a lot of money for just a driver.
Amazing tour! João was an excellent guide, and very helpful throughout the day. The walk to the falls is wonderful, so many photo opportunities, and the brindle out over the falls is incredible! Highly recommend this tour, I have complaints.
I can't even call this service a trip. It was basically a very overpriced taxi. The guide was nice, that's the only plus side. We (me and my husband) were the only 2 ppl in our initial group who wanted to do the safari/boat tour. So we ended up waiting for a different guide who just drove us to the safari entrance and dropped us off there. We were told that after the safari and boat experience we should catch the park bus!! to get back, and someone will pick us up to take us back to our hotel. A driver was there which was fine but the car had no A/C, which was very uncomfortable. Everything that this tour offers can be done easily on your own, saving you a lot of money and time. It didn't make anything easier, on the contrary, it was a confusion and we ended up waiting a lot.
We were picked up at the hotel in the morning, so far so good, the guide was nice and there were other people in the van. The first obligatory stop was in an 'artisan' shop - the itinerary said nothing about that. We entered the park by van, but note that it's faster to go by yourself and take the bus. It took around 10 minutes to get to the point where the walking path starts - the guide told a few things about the park - and that's where the 'guided' trip ended. Then we walked the path (the one where you see the falls), but you do it all alone since there are too many people there for the guide to tell you anything. After the path, the guide announces that we have to go for lunch and wait over 2 hours (!) for some other guy to take us to the safari. The lunch is in a nice location so we patiently wait. Then a new guy comes an tells us to go with him. We drive for 3 minutes (the same route that the shuttle bus covers every 5 minutes), he drops us off at the safari, says that after we finish we can take the shuttle bus to the park entrance where someone else will pick us up, and drives away. So do everything alone to be in the end taken to the hotel by a car without AC. Honestly I don't know how this trip has so high reviews up to date, for me it is at this price it is simply a scam and I'll be trying to get a partial refund for today.
Beautiful view of the Water Falls, very wet end of the trip! Amazing place and our guide was very helpfu.
It was a wonderful way to see the falls. The tour proactively reached out to confirm the pickup time and location. The morning of the tour guide was waiting for me in the hotel lobby. Once we got to the Park everything was hassle-free as all the tickets were taken care of. A great experience to see the fall without worrying about what to do and when. One tip though is to make sure you bring a change of clothes for the boat tour because it is a great experience but you will get wet... very wet.
The ease of getting around in the park is fabulous. The views of the falls were spectacular and not to be missed. The “safari” ride to the boat launch was meh compared to walking to the falls. The boat ride we were not quite prepared for as I knew we were in trouble when half the people in the boat were in swimsuits. Leave as much clothing behind in the rental lockers as you can and PROTECT your electronics from water. On the walk to the falls you will see lizards and adorable quatis and a huge number of butterflies everywhere. This is truly a natural wonder.
A very interesting and instructive tour. Mauricio was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, helping me navigate the borders on both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides, as well as having an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Park and its creatures.
The Macuco jungle/boat tour was awesome! The travel company Viator/C2Rio Tours & Travel was terrible. We bought the tour online through Viator before. We had a verified time to be picked up at our hotel in Foz. The morning of the tour THEY verified everything with us again. We waited in the hotel lobby for two hours! When we messaged them they said they were coming but late. When they didn’t show up we messaged again and they said they had no record of our reservation! I think they forgot to pick us up the tried to cover their backsides. We then bought the tour through the hotel for half as much, drove there ourselves, and had a blast! Macuco did great! Viator/C2Rio very poor service.
If you choose the wet boat ride make sure you're prepared to get VERY wet as the boat actually enters a couple of waterfalls. Obviously for safety reasons you cannot get right up to The Devil's Throat but you do experience the force of the Three Musketeers and some rapids. We absolutely loved this !
What's good about this is that it's all inclusive. While it's possible to coordinate everything yourself, it's more hassle-free this way. Essentially door-to-door service, and we even asked the driver to stop by some shops to wait while we bought souvenirs.
The excursion was well organized and well worth the price. The ride through the rain forest is informative and beautiful and a great lead up to the boat ride. While you'll want a poncho, don't think its going to keep you completely dry! There isn't a poncho in the world that could do that on this trip! The boat ride is fast and the falls are COLD but so much fun! We went on a chilly day and I was terrified to be cold after getting soaked under the falls, but honestly it was worth it! You're adrenaline is too high to care about the cold you're feeling!
We decided to take the boat trip after seeing both sides of the falls. The trip started with a bus ride safari through the rain forest where we saw loads of wildlife, monkeys, caiman, toucan etc The boat ride started where we had to package any valuables etc in a waterproof sack, and no wonder 🤪🤪🤪🤪 The raft went to two locations in the falls and culminated with a ride THROUGH THE MIDDLE of one of the cataracts. A frightening but unmissable experience. The force of the water was incredible and we got soaked. Fantastic
Fantastic good place to arrive, reception and excellent access, are reforming the road and will be better, but lack there parking infrastructure, from buses vans and cars, carissime restaurant, a stupidity of expensive queues for snacks, inviable in this part.
Polite and solicitory guides. The walk was great. He picked us up and left us at the hotel. During the walk gave all the assistance. It's very worth it.
It has very good views the micros that bring you to the area waterfalls are modern and clean is all the route very organized
Who comes to Foz do Iguaçu, can not fail to make this tour. It's safe. Sailing by boat in the waters of the waterfalls, taking a bath with these waters...is to wash the soul...and the water is warm. A unique experience!!!
The Brazilian Falls have a spectacular view!!!! Even though we were a cloudy day, the view is spectacular!!!!! We did the boat tour with guys and it was amazing!!!! We chose the “dry” ride because it was cool to get wet, but the adrenaline is great!!!!!! Good food for a quick lunch in the middle of the road.
Excelente comunicación con los agentes del tour. Todo salió tal como lo explican en la página oficial de Viator. Gracias y saludos.
Wonderful place, perfect view, coming to Foz and not doing this is a sin. What a crazy but rewarding experience. It's worth every penny, even if it's affection for those with a family of 5 people. Moments that are worth it.
Second time I'm going, despite the above average price for tours, it's worth the experience, for those who don't have a phobia of water, they can't go through this life without doing it.
incredible tour. full of emotion. good logistical structure, organization and security. Great opportunity to cool off in that heat.
Goed georganiseerd. Vriendelijke mensen. Goed nat geworden. Veel tijd voor waterval. Lekker buffet in restaurant.
My best trip I've ever done, all the tours are incredible, I can't wait to go back, Brazil has wonderful places
Esperienza memorabile, le cascate sono eccezionali e il giro in gommone finale una vera forza! Consiglio un cambio d'abiti per quando si è terminato il tour e ciabatte di gomma perché ci si bagna completamente
Wonderful walk. All well organized and perfect infrastructure. Excellent service. I just want a little more “emotion”
Organized place and with good infrastructure, the problem is crowding. As for the Macuco is a very cool walk but it is very short, it takes about 30 minutes
I liked it when I first went to Foz. Now that I took my 5-year-old grandson I ended up not doing.
The boat ride is short, I would think it is because the falls are on the Argentine side and can not get very close. But the Service the employees provide is very good.
Very cool and fun, very well organized and safe, worth it for couples, colleagues, family, the photos and the shooting made by the team of Brito was shown
The Falls are a national pride. Every Brazilian should know! The Argentine side is also spectacular, but requires much more physical preparation. Stay in Foz in a minimum of 4 days....there is a lot to do!
What a wonderful walk, super recommend. Very safe, during the trail the guide explained the history of the park. For the tour take repellent, sunscreen and a slippers for the boat ride. The stores are well prepared, but it's good to go prepared,
Super organized, everything worked out well. Communication with organizers possible at any time. All questions have been answered
Experiencia inolvidable e imperdible!! No pueden dejar de hacerla!! Si vienen a Cataratas, Vale cada $ invertido
Unique and spectacular experience! In addition to the wonderful view of the waterfalls, the boat ride in the massive Safari passes beneath one of the waterfalls, which is “the cherry of the cake”! I loved!
El tour estuvo excelente y cubrio nuestras espectativas. Tambien el guia asgignado (Cristian Albino) nos asesoro en todo el viaje para aprovechar nuestro tiempo al maximo. Excelente servicio
