Transfers and pick-ups were reliable and communications before and during the tour dates were really reassuring. The border controls between Argentina and Brazil were all dealt with for us hassle free. Our guide, Eduado, was great - friendly, funny, knowledgeable and his English was perfect. He managed to skip a lot of queues and was excellent at getting through crowds to make the most of our time and to get some perfect pictures! Don't hesitate to book this tour through CA falls. Its also really nice knowing it is a family operated company so no matter which guide you may have, the money is kept within the family unit rather than just a faceless firm.

The mist and rainbows created by the sunlight make this an incredible photo opportunity. As you walk, keep an eye out for local wildlife. The Brazilian side is home to diverse flora and fauna, including colorful birds, butterflies, and playful coatis. For an adventurous twist, consider taking an optional boat ride that takes you near the falls. Our tour was incredible. Not only the amazing sights to be seen at the falls but also our guide Nicolas. He was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and good fun. He spoke great English and ensured we had the best time!
I really enjoyed the experience. Eduardo is very professional and nice. Thank you for the two-day visit, the discussions and your flexibility. PS: possible to have the tour in English.
We got exaclty what we wanted, but it was even better than expected :) We stayed on the Argentinean side of the falls and got picked up punctually on both days. Communication was clear and the trip went according to our wishes, but we still listened to the guide's recommendations and adjusted accordingly. Fernando was an amazing guide. He was also quite knowledgeable and saved us a lot of time in the exploration of the area, designing an optimal schedule. My only recommendation is to be a bit more proactive with the storytelling, as we wanted to learn more, but sometimes people don't know what they need to ask :) All in all, it was a great experience that I'd highly recommend!
Fernando was our tour guide. He is an EXCELLENT guide! He’s professional, friendly, fun and very knowledgeable besides being at your service at all times! This was a special experience! I don’t say that lightly. I’ve traveled the world and this is a huge highlight throughout all my experiences! Take the private tour! It’s REALLY worth it! Ask for Fernando!
Eduardo did a great job of guiding us on both sides of the Falls. His English is excellent. He was on-time for the hotel pick-up. He informed us about what to expect each day. He showed us the best places and angles to take photos of the Falls. He operated at our speed. This is the second time that I have used this tour company and they met our exceeded our expectations each time. I highly recommend them.
Taking this private tour is definetly the best way to explore the falls! You avoid all the hassle and save time with purchasing tickets, crossing the borders and navigating around especially if you do not speak Spanish. On our first day we were picked up at our hotel by Leandro who took us to the Brazilian side of the falls. It was easy to cross the borders with him as we were let to the front of the line for passport control. Leandro was very pleasant and knowledgeable and we had a great time exploring the falls with him. The second day, our guide was Christiano, who picked us up early in the morning at the hotel, so we could get to the Argentinian side of the falls when the Natinal Park opens, to avoid the crowds and also the hot weather. He was an amazing guide and we learned so much from him while doing our walks on the trails around the falls. Visiting the Iguazu Waterfalls was truly incredible experience, they rightfully belong amongst the 7 wonders ot the world!
We have traveled the world over several times and can say with complete sincerity that Cristian is the most knowledgeable, articulate, personable, hardworking and passionate tour guide we have EVER had! His broad knowledge of the ecosystem, wildlife, flora, historical timetable, etc of the area is unparalleled! Not to mention he is just an all-around great guy!! We spent a day and a half with him on a private tour of Iguazu Falls (Brazilian and Argentine sides) as well as neighboring areas and we left with special memories of our tour and of Cristian himself!! Highly, highly recommend using him for a tour!!
Fernando was an excellent guide. We received a very personalized service. We got picked up on a private vehicle for just us 2 and went to the Brazilian side first. He explained the area and answered all our questions. Later on we were able to visit the aviary. Second day we went to the Argentinian side very early to avoid the crowds and were able to see La garganta del Diablo without too many people. We got recommendations to a great restaurant and did a quick visit to the Hito de las 3 fronteras.
Great experience, most amazing natural wonder, a great guide (Cristian) ...informative, flexible, funny ....highly recommended
Very flexible and accommodating. Great ideas of what and how to do things and exceptional VIP treatment throughout the day. Very helpful and really ours was the perfect guide who was extremely respectful. We did everything, including a fantastic lunch at a authentic and local restaurant.
As a travel agent, I know I can rely on Cristian to send amazing guides to my clients. The guides are wonderful and keep everything seamless and engaging.
We had a fabulous two action packed days with our guide Alessandro. We were on a tight schedule due to flights and with Alessandro's care we got to experience everything we wanted to plus more! Alessandro was delightful and capable. We booked our tour before arriving in Argentina and Cristian was also extremely efficient and helpful with pre planning. There was nothing for us to do other than have an amazing time ... which we did! Thank you Alessandro and Cristian for your care and reliability.
Have been to Iguazú falls with CaFalls tours on both sides (Brazil and Argentina). We had an amazing 2 days private tour with Cristian and Fernando! They were very welcoming friendly and knowledgeable guides, who built a very warm atmosphere and provided all the most interesting information and answered all of our questions during the tour! Everything it thought out for you, and also, as the tour is quite long(about6-7 ours a day) you also have a private time during this time, which is very nice too! Guides are always in touch, helps you with any questions about your stay at Iguazú. Communication was easy and pleasant! Our experience was excellent, so we can definitely recommend you to choose CaFalls - Iguassu Falls Private Day Tours!
Eduardo is a wonderful guide, I enjoyed every single fact he gave us about both parks. His knowledge is awesome and his attitude the best, we joked a lot and made this visit something cool to remember, definitely recommended, and remember, don't feed the wild animals!
Great 2 days with Eduardo in the rain forest! Both days were fun and super informative, highly recommend. Definitely need to see both sides of the falls, one side complements the other and both are very different experiences. We took the boat ride into the falls and although it was a rainy day, still had a blast. Lunch at Brazilian steakhouse on our way home the second day was also a highlight. Great tour!
What an amazing two-day adventure we had with William, our awesome, affable, knowdgeable tour guide. We were fortunate to only have two in our group so we had his undivided attention. It allowed us to interact on a much deeper level as he shared his in-depth expertise of both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the falls developed, have changed over the centuries, and how the occasional floods have impacted the parks and tourism of the area. We were able to take our time, stopping quite a bit to photograph, view and listen to the mighty power to the cascading waterfalls. Be sure to go as early as possible to mitigate the size of the crowds, heat and humidity.
This was a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable and catered to our interests (I told him we were interested in birds, for example, and he pointed out several tous, some of which 8 had never seen before). We went at our pace - no rushing, no hanging about waiting for others. It is possible to visit independently, but so much time would be wasted waiting for buses, etc. The private guide drives to the best access points and drops you off. We were also given the chance to go on a boat trip or visit another attraction (eg a bird sanctuary) if we wanted, but we came to seethe Falls and they did not disappoint! We are in our 70’s and appreciated taking our time. However the walks are not difficult. There are some steps, but it’s mainly level. Everywhere is paved or has metal walkways, and so it was quite easy. Hiking boots are not necessary. Insect repellent is! I sprayed it liberally, but still got several bites. Fortunately, no diseases.
Amazing two-day tour! We had Cristian as our guide, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant throughout the entire experience. He has a special pass that allowed us to enter the Brazilian side of the park early in the morning, before the crowds arrived, it truly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We were very lucky to have him as our guide. Cristian knew all the tips and tricks to avoid the crowds in both parks and helped us see everything in the most efficient way. His communication before and during the tour was excellent, and he handled unexpected changes perfectly. Our flight to IGU was delayed, but he waited for us at the airport, took us to our hotel to drop off our luggage, and adjusted the plan so the tour still went smoothly. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended!
Definitely recommend touring with Christian (CaFalls Tours). From the start he was great with communication, even from the booking a few months ahead, and reached out a few days ahead as well. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind with his recommendations, even outside of his tours. His guidance through both parks was perfect, and he's also one of the few certified bird-watching tour guides, so you get to see a lot of cool birds and other wildlife with him, which really compliments the amazing sightseeing. He also avoids the large crowds with his timing of the touring, which I really appreciated :). I also appreciate his patience, since we took our time sightseeing and taking in the beauty, and he never rushed us. He went beyond our expectations and will reach out to him again when I come back. I definitely recommend his services.
Unbelievable, Amazing and unforgettable two days seeing the falls from both sides and covering all the areas and walks available as well as the boat trip. If you have more than one day, then this is the trip for you. Fantastic guides, brilliant views and so much knowledge shared with us and different aspects experienced from both superb countries. Thank you Christian and the team
Our tour guide was Willian and I cannot say enough good things about him. He has so much knowledge to share about the area and local culture, and his English is amazing. He was friendly and accommodating. Made out days with him whatever we wanted. We liked him so much, we booked him for extra tours throughout the week. Highly recommend. And the falls are beyond amazing!
I’m so glad we booked this your with Cristian! It was a wonderful experience and we wouldn’t have seen half without him! Both Brazilian and Argentinian sides of the Iguaçu Falls were spectacular in a different way! Cristian was so kind and knowledgeable about nature but also history during the tour! The only thing I regretted was not listening to him about leaving the hotel at 7 am the first day to beat the crowds! We did on the second day and the experience was magical! We still skipped the lines on the first day and I’m so glad we did because they were long lines! Cristian also recommended a wonderful place for lunch! This tour is so worth it!
We spent our first day with Cristian on the Brazilian side and the second with Douglass on the Argentinian side. We had a fantastic time with both guides. We were worried about the travel and border crossing, and Cristian made us comfortable with our travel plans. It was it fast and easy to cross the border and he reached out after booking to make sure everything was set. We were able to skip entry lines due to the nature of the tour and the vehicle to get to the park much more quickly than with a bus or taxi. Both Cristian and Douglass were knowledgeable about the falls, having grown up in Iguazu, and they ensured we had the best trip possible. They were prepared with rain jackets and more and we enjoyed the experience with them. I would highly recommend this trip and both Cristian and Douglass - we said several times that booking this tour was a great idea and very worthwhile. If you’re considering booking, you won’t regret it!!
Amazing experience with my guide, Fernando! He made everything really simple and easy, from helping with border crossing to making sure I was always aware of toilet locations and food, and having a wealth of information on the falls. Definitely recommend this tour - we did Brazil side on day one with fantastic lunch, then Argentina side and quick trip to Paraguay on day 2. You can definitely skip Paraguay - I wanted to do three countries in one day, but, there's not a lot there to see. Having a guide means you get to see the best views, with the best itinerary, and you can use the fast track queue at the Argentina border. Great trip!
It was a great tour! I highly recommend it. The guide was great and very accommodating to our requests. Thank you so much Chris!
Christian was our guide and did a wonderful job of showing us the falls from both the Argentina and Brazil sides. He was prompt in picking us up at our hotel and provided an amazing two day experience. I believe this is absolutely the best way to see Iguassu Falls and I highly recommend this tour!
Simply fantastic. Well worth it to see the Falls from both sides. Panoramic from the Brasil side. Up close and impactful from the Argentina side (we did all three of the trails recommended). We also added the boat trip from the Brasil side (younger children can take part unlike from Argentina side) and that was fantastic fun. Our guide for both days, Maiko, was attentive, knowledgeable and did so much for us. A delight to be with.
We just completed a 2 day trip to the falls covering both sides and the boat ride. Willian our guide was very informative, friendly and allowed us plenty of time to explore and appreciate the falls. Willian was very helpful and able to communicate effectively with us in English. The suggestions for lunch and activities catered for our various preferences. The company provided excellent communication before and during our time. This enabled us to ask many questions and to ensure we had a great experience. We would recommend Willian and this company if you plan to visit the falls. Having a small group is so much better than the big group’s, it makes it so much more personal.
Everything is very well organized, interesting and comfortable. We had a private tour for 6 people. This is a great opportunity to see the waterfalls from all sides.
Excellent guide Michael! He made sure we were safe and provided us with all of our options for a fun trip. We enjoyed our time at Iguazu Falls!
We booked this tour several months in advance and communication with the provider was a little sparse. First morning of the tour things got off to a terrible start when they sent a non-English speaking local taxi driver to collect us from the hotel. This guy had no name board or other confirmation of our details and we had not been pre-warned of this arrangement. Once we met our guide at the Brazilian border, the situation improved. We got taken to the Bird Park first (additional charge payable), which was very good and something we would probably have missed if we had not done this tour. We were also offered the option of a 10-minute helicopter flight for USD 200 each, but we were not interested. The Iguazu Falls are extremely impressive and photogenic from both sides, though the Argentine side involves substantially more walking in hot, humid conditions and is not as well organised as the Brazilian side. Our youngish guide spoke good English and was pleasant enough, but seemed to be in a rush and kept walking ahead of us when we needed to stop to take a photo or some water. I did feel he was judging our fitness and age rather than trying to help us get the best out of what was, for us, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He did provide some info as we were visiting the falls, but not as much about the local flora, fauna etc, as I would have expected from a professional "guide": more like he was just escorting us through the various stages. A private tour is a good idea if you have limited time and want the most comfortable and fast way of getting around and through the border. I deducted one star for the bad communication regarding the Day 1 hotel pick-up and another for the guide rushing us too much.
We had the great pleasure of being guided through both sides of Las Cataratas by Cristian. Cristian was an absolutely wonderful host with a wealth of knowledge about the nature, the history and the culture of the waterfalls and its surroundings. We came away from the 2-day excursion feeling totally inspired, and confident in saying this has been one of the highlights of our trip. I can highly recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to dive deep into the richness of Iguazú. Muito obrigado, Cristian!
We can only say good things about our two-day experience of Iguazu Falls and surrounds, guided by Douglas of CaFalls. We don't normally go on guided tours but booked this one because we only had two days and wanted to maximise the use of our time. This was a good decision because Douglas' guiding added immensely to our enjoyment of our time at Iguazu and greatly enhanced our experience in all sorts of ways. CaFalls planned an itinerary for the two of us but Douglas was a great guide and listener who checked out what we were interested in and, as a consequence, added in a couple of extra things - the bird park was fantastic! We always felt comfortable on our tour: Douglas was patient when we walked slowly and when we spent a long time looking at the (extraordinary) falls. He was great to talk to, very knowledgeable about lots of things, made sure we passed through gates etc without having to wait for ages, and was quite clearly mindful of our wellbeing. Having spent these two days with CaFalls we can only say that this was money very well spent - we had such a great experience at a reasonable cost and we fitted in so many more interesting things to do than we ever could have if we had made the arrangements for ourselves during our two days at Iguazu Falls. We very highly recommend CaFalls and Douglas!
It was an amazing tour and an excellent management from agency and our tour Guide Willian. Any time again 👍. Thx for all!
From the beginning, I was impressed with how punctual was the response to the reservation.Douglas was our guide who was very knowledgeable of the falls and explained the options that we had and was punctual. His English was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company an Douglas.
Willian was wonderful - good English, lots of knowledge, got us to the right spots at the right times, lots of good suggestions for other activities.

Absolutely sensational trip to see the falls. Cristian was very knowledgeable & interesting. We all love him! Whilst the trip can be done independently of a tour guide, to have the knowledge of where to go and when & background information is brilliant. The waterfalls are without doubt the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
We spent 3 days with Cristian and his company visiting Iguacu Falls on both the Argentine and Brazil side and a day in Paraguay. Cristian was quick to identify what we were hoping to do and scheduled the tours to meet our goals. Cristian was very knowledgeable about the Falls and was able to ensure we always had the best view of the Falls. Cristian was able to get us across the borders with no problems and very quickly. We highly recommend Cristian and his company.
We were very disappointed with our first day. The “guide” had all the traits of a good driver: she was punctual, kind, and patient. Unfortunately, her lack of English proficiency made communication exhausting. She also could not answer basic questions on the plants and animals. It was so bad that Brazilian tourists from other tours were answering our questions because they could tell she didn’t know anything and that her answers didn't make sense with our questions. When it came time for us to trek through the jungle to the boat, she left us with a park tour guide and went on a shuttle by herself. At first I was mad, but then I realized she had nothing to add. If you get Neide, she will be a great driver but not a useful guide. Ask for a new one if you are an English speaker. We also spoke Spanish which helped with the language but not with her competency. She is a nice person. I contacted Christian the proprietor and he tried to make it right by sending a new guide for the next day. Unfortunately, the time Christian proposed and confirmed by me was not understood by the new guide and we had to wait for over 30 minutes in our hotel lobby after the scheduled start. Once we started the tour, the guide Douglas was great and we had a wonderful time with him. He was a proper guide and did a great job answering all our questions. Christian’s effort and Douglas’s skill improved the overall rating to 3 stars. I also wanted better communication. There were multiple fees that were added. For example the boat ride on the Brazil side was $90 and we were supposed to pay in reales or cash. We asked if we could use a card and the guide’s machine didn’t work so we spent many minutes waiting while the crowds continued to grow. If we had known in advance, we would have brought cash. The 2nd day we needed to pay a fee in pesos but no one let us know and also we should have bought a ticket ahead of time online but that wasn’t communicated so we had to log on to our data to speed the process at the border. I believe that the previous positive reviews have let Christian grow his business, but he hasn’t invested in the people and processes so that people can have a top notch experience with his other guides. The actual falls were amazing and I highly recommend going. I also liked doing it over two days. I also rated every other tour when I was in Brazil 5 stars. If Christian can work out the issues we had, this has the potential to be a great experience.
Having a private guide to see Iguazu Falls was an amazing experience. Fernando met us at the hotel, got us through the express line at the Brazilian border, and guided us through all the steps to do the Macuco boat ride on the Brazilian side. Because it was a very busy time of year, we did the boat ride first. That was AMAZING! There is a small tram that takes you to the boat dock (or you have an option of walking a small trail part of the way). Then, something like a funicular takes you down to the water to get on the boat. It was so fun to be on the water and to go under a section of the falls. Then, we walked went to the start of the trail and enjoyed the amazing panoramic views of the waterfalls. The trail was paved with handrails and steps. There were many different viewing points for different perspectives of the falls. Then, there was a footbridge that took us out to an even closer view. There were hundreds of people and on the platform, it was a bit crowded, but with patience, you could have a turn at the best spots for photos and viewing. Then, we had a wonderful buffet lunch at the visitor center/exit. The waterfalls are well worth the visit, and Fernando guided us every step of the way. The next day, we went to the Argentinian side. We were advised to purchase entrance tickets online before we went, and that saved us some time. They were around $45 US dollars per person (estimate based on exchange rate). We took a train (about a 20-minute ride) to the top to see the Devil's Throat. It was about a 20-25 minute walk on metal platforms to the viewing area. This view takes you to the top of the waterfalls where several waterfalls converge. It was stunning to see and hear that water pouring over the top. I didn't think the view from the previous day could be better, but this was even more amazing. We then walked the upper trail which gave us even more beautiful perspectives. It was a lot of walking, but we stopped a lot to take pictures. We walked for about 3 - 4 hours in total. The tour includes the lower trail, but we chose to stop and not do the lower trail because we had a flight that afternoon. Fernando was an excellent tour guide. He was very patient with us as we took our time and took a lot of pictures, and having someone guide us and give us access to avoid the long lines was well worth the money. He also took some amazing pictures for us of our group. I didn't have to think about any logistics. I could just enjoy nature, the excursion, and the time with family. Going on a private tour is the way to do this excursion. We went in January and it was hot (in the 90s Fahrenheit). Take sunscreen, insect repellent, and a hat. I highly recommend this tour.
Cristian is a great tour guide fun, passionate, organised and always punctual. He is ready to react on the spot with everything that comes up. The tours itself were very interesting and well thought and the place is a once in lifetime experience.
The tour was excellent and went beyond our expectations. Our guide, Willian, was super helpful and friendly. We only had 2 days and 1 night in Iguazu. He explained that it would be best to do the Brazilian side on day 1, as border crossings can be a bit unpredictable, and the Argentinian side on day 2. He was right, as crossing the border back into Argentina took a while, and we might have missed our flight back had we done that on day 2. I strongly recommend doing both sides. You have a better view on the falls from the Brazilian side, but on the Argentinian side, you can get really close to the falls. On day 1, he picked us up from our hotel and drove to the Brazilian side. We saw the waterfalls from different viewpoints, had lunch, saw a few animals, and then went for the boat tour. It was so fun, but fair warning, you will be soaked! On day 2, we took a train to the station near the falls observatory. You are standing directly atop the falls! We ended up abbreviating a bit the walk through the park as it started raining. Overall an amazing experience!
Outstanding! Cristian went above and beyond to take care of our family. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a guide who is knowledgeable and experienced in this area.
Our experience was amazing! They are so knowledgeable and helpful. They are timely and accommodating. We got so many beautiful pictures.
We did the 2 day tour, 1 day Brazilian side and 1 day Argentinian side, which are 2 completely different experiences regarding the views on the falls. The tour guides have decent knowledge about the falls and the area, take the time so you take pictures and enjoy the views and speak very good English in case you don't speak Portuguese. Another advantage of these tours is that you will be picked up at your hotel so that you don't have to make use of the public transport which saves you a lot of time. We really enjoyed the tour!
The first day in Brazil with Cristian was magnificent! His knowledge of the flora and fauna are wonderful and he speaks excellent English. Cristian was always helpful and willing to put our comfort and experience above all. Seeing the falls was amazing! We would rate this day 5 stars. The second day with a different guide was not as good. The guide's English wasn't good enough to communicate well with us. In addition, their knowledge of the local culture and natural surroundings was fair. The guide was very nice and accommodated our needs but the communication issue and lack of expertise brought this rating down.
ANAZING experience! Visited Iguacu Falls Brazil side on day 1 and Argentina side on day 2. Very smooth communication, planning and guidance… Chris was super friendly and had great expertise in nature, bird and history of the region! Transport was arranged in clean van. Highly recommended!
Cristiano and Willian were excellent tour guides, really informative friendly and made the trip wonderful
