Wonderful location, but the long check in at the front desk with an attempt to "upsell" timeshares was poor. The food and wait staff were great. The pool is nice as well, but the jacuzzi was a little dirty. The store was closed most of the time we had access. We didn't play golf.
The hotel used to be very good, but the existing management does not do their work. The toilet in the room was dirty, all the towels are grey and very old. No hospitality. No ability to send a message to hotel at booking.com, only calls. No ability to leave a review. Very disappointed. It is not a 5-star hotel.
Fantastic hotel! 5 stars. We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, hotel was safe and comfortable, and it was very close to the waterfalls. I would recommend to anyone to stay here.
Disappointed given 4.7 star rating on Google and apparently a 5 star hotel. Very basic and agree with other reviews is more like a 3 star hotel. The breakfast was nice but the room was very basic and shower covered in soap scum. I will stay elsewhere next time
Despite the hotel’s nice facilities, my experience fell far below what a “5-star” property should deliver. – I was served cold fries at the pool restaurant. When I pointed it out, the staff’s response was to blame me for not saying something sooner and to suggest that I might have already eaten some. This level of customer service is unacceptable in a luxury hotel, even Macdonald doesn't challenge the client about cold fries. – We returned to our room on the 2nd day at 8 PM after a full day out, only to find it had never been cleaned, even though we left around 10 AM with the “make up room” sign clearly displayed. – Housekeeping woke us up by knocking on our door at 8:30 AM to ask if they could clean on the 3rd day... Waking up guests on their holidays that's unseen The only positive aspect was the complimentary late check-out until 3 PM, which was appreciated — but unfortunately not enough to offset the multiple service failures. In short, nice infrastructure, very poor service. Definitely not the 5-star experience we expected.
