We had a great time exploring the island on the e-bikes. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining the routes available and how to use the bikes. This e-bike tour was amazing. The folks who worked at Antonio rentals were so helpful and provided a map via Google Maps, recommendations, and any advice & needs we may have. The ride was gorgeous, and it was VERY easy to follow. The roads were super smooth and directions were very easy! The employees gave us baskets for the bikes & we had a spot to place our phones. It was such a lovely ride- we stopped along the way to take photos, rode leisurely (the e-bike had a few levels of assistance), and it took us about 6 hours (11:30am-5:30pm) to do the shorter ride with stops along the way & a delicious lunch! 10/10, loved this ride for cyclists of all levels!
The bike Turbo setting is sufficient to get a moderately fit 210 pound 79 year old man up the hills. However, I would advise against it if the rider is not an experienced bicyclist with strong hands.The downhill slopes are steep and long in places. The bikes we had we're excellent in all aspects, the instructions were good and the trip very enjoyable.
This was the highlight of the trip for us. It was such a lovely and adventurous experience. Really nice to go at our own pace and choose where to visit. Highly recommended
Great time above Hvar with interesting stops in villages
Hvar is a large island and with the e-bike you can explore the area nearby, we went to several beaches and the fortress, saw some little towns and beautiful rocks formations. The agency also gave us a route to follow with lots of cool spots. We all had fun!

Picking up the bikes was fast and efficient. The overview of how the bikes work was quick and thorough. All our bikes worked well throughout our afternoon. We did the 3-4 hour self-guided tour, which was great. We saw the back roads of Hvar and drove through the lavender fields.
I had the best experience hiring bikes from Antonio Rent! Everything was quick, easy, and the bikes were in great condition. I went to explore Hvar’s beautiful lavender fields, and the views along the way were absolutely spectacular. It was such a fun and memorable way to see the island at my own pace. Apart from thoroughly enjoying the fascinating day cycling around this historic island, I was particularly impressed with the fair and compassionate manner with which Yuri and his team handled matters, after I returned the bike with a broken handlebar after an unfortunate tumble en route. 10/10, even when things don't go to plan.

The staff at Antonio Rent were very helpful in getting us kitted out and showing us how to use the pre loaded google map route for out ride. We chose to do the longer 56km ride as we are experienced riders which did include a 9km climb, but the E-bikes made easy work of this. We rode to the old town the other side of the island and were rewarded with spectacular views and vistas. We would highly recommend this experience.
The rental place was easy to find and the staff were very helpful. We loaded a route on our phone they provided and set off. As experienced bikers we chose the longer route which took us about five hours with some stops. The scenery was stunning as the route took us over a mountain to the other side of the island and back. Relatively easy ride with the e-bikes. We would highly recommend this experience.
My wife and I, along with another couple we were traveling with, rented e-bikes from Antonio Rents in Hvar in late May 2026. The entire experience was positive from start to finish. The staff were very friendly and professional. The brief orientation was very helpful and they provided clear instructions on how to use the bike. They walked us through the suggested route, including an overview of the map and sites of interest. The views were extraordinary and we stopped in Milna for drinks overlooking the pretty beach. Excellent experience and we would highly recommend doing this during your visit to Hvar.

Absolutely loved this day trip. The bikes were good. The scenery was stunning. Quiet roads . Felt safe all along the way although did the shorter ride and didn’t go to Stari Grad which I think may have been a bit busier. Stopped for lunch and a coupe of hours on the beach for a swim. Highly recommend it. Easy to find the bike hire. Antonio’s, booked directly. Helpful. Friendly , Google maps provided, bikes have phone clamps for the handle bars so you can see map. Just lovely

Great fun, E-Bikes are a god send for climbing the mountain. especially when also fighting with strong wind. The Google map is a little bit glitchy and has a tendency to cut out and send you in the wrong direction. Would have been great to have a paper version of alll the stops and directions to help with this. Overall though, so glad we did this as it’s the best way to see Hvar!
We enjoyed cycling around Hvar! It was better for us to put the individual stops into our Google Maps rather than use their maps.

Excellent. From start to finish. My party of 11 friends ages 67 to 69 all throughly enjoyed the day. The bikes were all very good quality and Hvar is ideal for touring on bikes. There are some significant ascents and descents but the e bikes coped without any problems. A must do if visiting the area.
We took the longer ride to Stari Grad. It was fantastic. A great way to see more of the Island. Wonderful stops built in. The Google Map route made navigating a breeze. The bikes were easy to handle and Antonio Rent was easy to find and very helpful.
You can rent E bikes directly from Antonio Rent. I don’t know why you need to pay extra for a self-guided tour, which is just a Google map, which didn’t work.
So much fun. Went to Stari Grad, so full day. Enjoyed the stops, views and history along the way. Very little traffic. We had different athletic levels, but every one of us loved the day. They were very informative about gps and bike fit before we left. Would recommend!!
Antonio Rental is a class act! The bikes were well maintained, and we had no problem following the self-guided route around Hvar Island. We had a fantastic day stopping at the little towns along the way and made sure we tried out the lavender cheesecake - which was divine. The abandoned village was also fun to explore. The staff were most helpful and so pleasant to deal with. We would definitely rent from them again and highly recommend them!

Beautiful day out. If you can make it to Stari Grad, do it. Beautiful views and with the turbo setting on the bike you can make it back up the hill.
My husband and I love e-biking!! We had one of the most beautiful rides today. The terrain changed constantly and we had panoramic views of the ocean from all sides of the island. Our favorite part of the ride was through a small village and then through an olive grove that had pomegranate trees and wild lavender scenting the air. So beautiful!!! The bike crew were all so nice and accommodating. Great day!!!
Beautiful views, level more moderate to expert cyclist, as E-bikes, are Electric assist, you still have to pedal going up mountain ascent elevation 2300 feet approximately, not completely electric when needed. Personnel very nice good English ,
Very well organised and professional bike hire shop. We were given helmets, the bikes were adjusted to our height and we were given clear operating instructions. We followed a great route recommended by the hire shop where we enjoyed breathtaking scenery and fantastic viewpoints. Would totally recommend

Amazing views and wonderful way to see the island. We loved our day. That said we chose to do the “long” route with e-bikes and had no idea how extreme and how long the uphill riding was. The ride with stops and a lunch took from 9-3. It’s an all day adventure. We conserved battery thinking we needed more and should have used Turbo for more of the hills. Our favorite part was lunch in Stari Grad. Well worth that extra mileage.
Really fun day. Was a great way to see the scenery of the island and it’s very easy to navigate and find your way. The guys were really helpful and I’d definitely recommend hiring e-bikes on Hvar.
Fantastic day. Booked the bikes in advance and got the 9am ferry over from Split for the day. Was easy to find and the guys were really friendly and helpful. We used the map to get around and did the shorter route. It was so easy and the bikes were fab especially the turbo power when going up hill. It was the highlight of our trip and I’d definitely recommend doing it. We took the bikes back at 4pm and got the 4.45pm ferry back to Split. We had tune to sunbathe and swim at one of the stops.
Antonio Rent was amazing. They allowed us to easily move our booking due to bad weather. E bikes were top notch and made the hill climbs completely manageable. Staff so friendly and helpful. And the ride was AMAZING. If I’d known I would have gone twice while on Hvar. Don’t miss it!!
It is not for novice ebikers! We loved it but we come with lots of experience on our own ebikes at home. Some think that turbo will make it easy to go up hills with minimal effort. Not true....hard peddling is needed.
This was an enjoyable way to spend the day away from the crowds, seeing the scenery and history in this gorgeous island. The folks at the bike place were super nice and helpful. The bikes were nice and performed as advertised. My only negative was that it was a bit strenuous for some of the less experienced cyclists in our group. The roads (at the end of the ride) were also pretty busy and traffic was a bit scary for part of the ride. I would absolutely recommend this for someone who is fit and experienced on the bicycle. Maybe not for someone less experienced.

Don’t be intimidated by the hilly terrain… get an e-bike and put it in turbo! Staff were really nice and helpful. Bikes are a bit heavy but great quality.
Great few hours out on the bikes, the guy puts the route into your phone so it’s impossible to get lost. The route is fantastic with a few stops on the way. We loved it !!!

We are a family of 3, active 50s and a teen. We booked 3 e-bikes in advance and on arrival had some simple forms to sign. The bikes were ready and waiting for us and after we’d been given the google maps route via WhatsApp, we had a full explanation of the bikes and the electric functionality. We found the bikes to be in good service and whilst we were warned that using ‘turbo mode’ too much would drain the battery, we completed the route with over 50% battery left and didn’t skimp on the extra help! Bear in mind the ‘e’ only kicks in when you pedal, it doesn’t do all the work like a moped, so you’re still active. This was a great way to see parts of the island we otherwise wouldn’t have, the electric help meant we weren’t exhausted either, it is very hilly and we covered 33km! The route was great and easy to follow too. The recommended restaurant for lunch isn’t open on Sunday, so we ate at one of the beaches and had a lovely meal with a beautiful view over the sea.
