Lavender Fields & Villages: Self-guided Ebike Tour With Swim Stop

We were “guided” to the shorter route which didn’t include a stop in Stari Grad. We note that the reviews in Viator combine feedback from both the bike/swim (short route) and the longer Stari Grad route so you need to be aware of your choice. Having said that, the shorter beach route worked out fine. The bikes were easy to manage, the routes were for the most part only used by cyclists so very safe. We were able to view/stop at several beaches along the sea and climb to the top of the mountain where we could see both sides of the island. A great day.

The e-bike experience through Hvar was very scenic and beautiful, heading down to Stari gold town was breathtaking. The hills are very steep it was atleast a 30mile to and from to Starigold. You will see more bikes than cars on the road. Great experience overall with friends.

Jadran and his crew were fabulous! As non cyclists in our everyday life we easily road from Hvar town to Stari-Grad, even went a little further to see the Stari-Grad plain. We were advised riding all the way to Vroboska would have been too much for our timetable. We did not get started until around 10:30 and they close at 18:00. We stopped in Stari-Grad for a wonderful meal at Rocco’s (smokvina.hr/bookyour/r/roccohvar) which we also highly recommend! We then easily road the bikes back to Hvar town with time to catch to catch the 14:45 ferry back to Split. This trip is a steep incline up and then a fast descent, but very doable for non cyclists. The bikes and restaurants are mostly cash only so have euros with you- Thank you Hvar Outdoor for a wonderful day!

Hvar Outdoor provided us with an easy to follow Google Maps route. They prepared the bikes for us and made sure we were comfortable with their operation (we are newbies on e-bikes. The scenery along the route was lovely.

we are really disappointed. we were only informed the day before (a Sunday) at 8pm that the bikes were not available even though I had booked 3 days before. and he only informed us because we had sent him an email to check that everything was OK. supposedly a problem with rain when it has not rained for over a week. I strongly advise against it, go see the competing store which has great bikes and advice

Nice bikes and very nice owners who did a great job routing us! Island has steep hills where a ebike is almost necessary. Did some wine tasting along the way and passed through deserted villages and scenic spots.

We are beach people but wanted to try something new. This was 1000% worth it and made our trip. A truly unique experience! The views of the island and the water were breath taking. we biked up lavender fields and rows of olive oil trees, saw ghost towns, and stopped along the way to get drinks and food while we enjoyed the views. And a neat experience to try e-bikes. Thanks to Jadran!

This e-bike tour with Jadran was simply unforgettable! We made fantastic memories for life! Jadran has a true passion for the island and for biking, which made the experience absolutely amazing! Love this place. I always try to stay active when on vacation and this bike ride was perfect. You get the route to follow. Very simple-great roads-safe-no traffic-beautiful views- perfect weather-great service.

Perfect way to explore hvar. The bikes were great full of power with you needed for the hills. He gave us a great path on Google maps to follow to Stari Gard. It was so beautiful and peaceful riding through the lavender fields. Almost no cars on the road most of the way. I would recommend E bikes and this operator to anyone. He even provided us with bottles of water and we felt very comfortable. And the views from of high in the hills were breathtaking.

Easy to arrange, pick up for the bikes was simple and included an easy Google maps route (bikes came with a sturdy phone mount), but the navigation is so easy you barely need it. Superb views, quiet roads (we were late in the season to be fair) and overall just a lovely trip.

Great equipment and service, Jadran provided us a great route to Stari Grad and was very helpful and kind.

The bikes were great with lots of battery life to get us to the other side of the island and back. One small glitch on the directions… the link took us to a hotel but the bike pickup place is on the same road but quite a bit farther up the road!

Great experience ! e-bike is the best way to discover the beautiful island of Hvar. Jardan was really easy to contact through WhatsApp, very prompt to text us back, he gave us good advices about how and when to pick up the e bikes. The pick up address is situated on the hill - easy to reach by walk from our hotel and the city center. The e bikes are powerful and very easy to handle. Great quality material. We started our journey late morning and visited a few beaches and some cities. Special thanks to Jardan’s recommendation for taking a specific itinerary back to Hvar( Stari grad - Brusje - Hvar) , the panoramas through the lavender fields at sunset is breathtaking - We loved it ! We recommend it a 100%.

Excellent rental service provided by Jadran Coaching. Recommendations and advices he gave us really helped to make our tour more interesting. We covered 60km of the island on brand new high quality E-bikes (Scott). On the way back we stopped in the Lacman Winery recommended by Jadran. The place is amazing and wines and food are delicious. Definitely the highlight of our all trip in Croatia! Highly recommended!

If you come to Hvar, you should not miss this wonderful self-guided e-bike tour. In just a few hours you saw an incredible building from the 16th century, a unique viewpoint and the incredible village of Velo Grablje. And that's just a small part of this e-bike tour.
