Your first stop is the abandoned ethnic village of Malo Grablje, which offers a small window to the Mediterranean as it once was. Abandoned stone houses without doors and windows blend in with nature, along with mills, barns and churches waiting to be discovered, forming a perfect movie set.
Then a short stop in the village of Velo Grablje - famous for the production of the best lavender oil in Europe. The lavender plant was once the breadwinner for many island families. Here, you will learn more about the life and customs of the local population through the centuries. Visit the Lavender museum-optional.
The next stop is a viewpoint offering a spectacular view of the entire island and surrounding islets. This is the perfect place for photography and enjoying the panoramic view.After that, we will visit the lavender fields, which are a symbol of Hvar. Here, you can enjoy the scent and beauty of these purple fields and learn more about the cultivation of lavender and its importance to the local economy.
Our tour continues in the village of Brusje, where you will have the opportunity to taste local honey. Here, you will learn more about traditional honey production and enjoy the authentic flavors of Hvar. Some olive oil tasting, dried figs, homemade brandy and more will give you some more energy to our next stop :) The tasting is additional.
If visiting inside, tickets are provided on the entrance. The last stop of our tour is the Fortica Fortress, which rises above Hvar Town. This historic fortress offers an incredible view of the town and surrounding islands and is the perfect place to end our adventure.
Marko was easy to understand and was a great communicator before, during and after. He tailored the excursion to us and really brought Hvar to life. It was a fantastic way to see the highlights and really get a feel for the people and culture. I highly recommend!
While we originally book the tour for just two of us, we asked if we could bring another couple and the tour operator happily obliged. Seeing Hvar through the eyes of a local guide was great. He took us to historic sites, pointed out abandoned towns and explained the topography of the area. We even stopped to shop for some lavender and honey. I would highly recommend the tour since it gives you the highlights of the city and then some without spending a lot of time walking.
Nice driver. Knowledgeable. Flexible to stop when we wanted to take pics. The vehicle was a little tight for 6 but we were fine. Nice couple of hours. We liked this tuk tuk ride much better than a closed van on a beautiful October day. Recommended.

Daniel, our guide was top notch! He is extremely knowledgeable of the history on Hvar and took us all around the interior of the island to spectacular view points and tucked away towns. He even helped us with dinner reservations. Wow! Cannot say enough good things about it. Well worth it!

A very well run tour that collects you from your Hotel and has four stops . Each of twenty minutes.. From ruins to old villages to lavender fields and includes spectacular scenery for photography. Our guide Marco was excellent. A pricey trip but worth every penny. Comes Highly Recommended.
This was a wonderful tour of the beautiful island of Hvar. Daniel was a marvellous guide and so knowledgeable - there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. He even replaced one of the stops (as we had visited it already) with another one. The tuk-tuk was so quiet (being electric), it made it a very peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable way to travel. We would recommend this tour to anyone. We were disappointed having travelled to another island to find a similar tour does not exist.

Marko was GREAT! He was prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. We learned so much history of Hvar. He stopped to let us take photos and even recommended a delicious restaurant for dinner. Apparently, he also does bike tours. Definitely ask for him if you ever do a tuk tuk tour in Hvar!

We took a Tuktuk tour of Hvar with Daniel and it was wonderful! All 4 of us really enjoyed it, and learned so much about the island outside of just boats, sea and seafood. Daniel was really engaging and the Tuktuk is very comfortable! We also stopped to sample honey and have some lavender lemonade.

Our private Tuk Tuk tour with Daniel was the perfect way to start our time in Hvar. We had private tours in 3 towns and this was our favorite! The Tuk Tuk was especially entertaining for our 9 and 12 year old kids - it was a nice break from typical walking tours. It also allowed us to explore a larger area of the island so we could experience some highlights of Hvar that wouldn’t have been possible with a walking tour. Some highlights were the figs, rosemary, and lavender that he picked along our route and visiting the highest point of the island (where we had the best photo op). Being a local, he was able to make great recommendations for meals/activities, provided insight about day-to-day life, and was amazingly knowledgeable about the history of Hvar and surrounding communities. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time - Daniel is an energetic and highly entertaining tour guide for all ages!

Excellent way to see the island, learn about the herbs and history of the migration of the people from their villages to the coast. Marko was fun to learn from. The tuk tuk ride was exciting as well. We got to meet the grandson of the man who started planting lavender on the island.

The e-TukTuk tour was absolutely fantastic and perfectly suited to large families (there were six of us in total, including our 2½-year-old). We enjoyed breathtaking panoramic views from the hills above Hvar and from the so-called “Spanish Fortress”. The tour also takes you through several charming little villages, where you can buy local honey, lavender products and souvenirs. A huge thank you to our guide, Marko, who was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. He also shared lots of fascinating information about Hvar throughout the tour. The whole experience was very delightful - easy and refreshingly simple way to see another side of Hvar. We visited the fortress, old and current lavender fields, ancient medieval towns and learned about these important historical sites from our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Marco. We bombarded Marco with questions about everything from the island’s history to more practical things like the landfill, and he respectfully fielded each one with ease as he waved and greeted fellow locals along the way. We even got to wave to his beautiful family when we surprisingly crossed paths on one of the local beaches! We highly recommend this experience and consider it a must for any trip to Hvar.
