Vip Boat Trip To Orange Bay Giftun Island & Snorkeling Hurghada

The trip was good fun, with a mix of downtime on Orange Island and a couple of snorkeling stops. The communication was good and the staff were friendly and accommodating, supporting my two nervous teenagers. I would recommend this trip and feel it was excellent value for money. The one negative was collection from our hotel with no seat belts in the back. I complained as this was very poor and compromised my family’s safety. On the return journey a different driver was organised.

Excellent and a very fun stay at the island. Clean water

First off the staff was amazing and engaging and hands down the best part of this tour. The rest of it was chaos! I feel like no one listens to directions so the poor staff is left heading cats. The snorkeling was beautiful. You go with the guide for 20-30 mins. It's hard to find the guide in the water. But we are near the boats and it's safe. Just chaos. The time on the National Park is a tourist trap but fine. We had our own section in the shade. Overall enjoyable and a good way to see the Red Sea. Just wish people would follow instructions.

Everything about this trip was very well organised. The communication before departure and during the stay was excellent and very responsive. We needed to change our itinerary and even had a few changes due to illness in the group but all this was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly and responsive to what we needed. The boat trip itself was also well organised and supportive, with delicious food and refreshments as well. There were additional more premium items for additional cost, beer and crisps etc. the snorkelling spots were well chosen and we saw plenty of fish with the guidance of the instructors. What will say at this point is that the trip was very much a family/novice snorkelling experience, great if you have young kids or are less confident in the water. We were all experienced in the water and found having to be with the guide a little frustrating as you become interested in a fish and are called back towards the group. The shouting to stay together did not make the snorkelling very tranquil. Orange bay is of course beautiful in itself and experiencing the clay like sand and turquoise water was pleasing, it is over commercial and felt like you are on a school trip being guided through. It was very busy and the costs of refreshments and ice cream are eye watering. 10€ for an ice cream is excessive as you are a captive market and are not allowed to bring items to the bay. I think that this is more about making money than preserving the island. They use many beanbags and we noticed the polystyrene balls spilling out a lot. These should be banned! The trip itself was well run and the staff were friendly. Even ensuring a birthday cake and sing along for my wife’s birthday. A lovely day out

Very fun and they asked personally if you had fun I really liked that because I don’t Like to Talk a lot and There was a lot of room on the boat and they were very helpfull if you looked like you were doing something difficult they would come to help

There was enough room on the boat, not packed at all. The included food was decent. The trip itself was fun, had enough time to swim. The trip took about 8 hours in total, including the transfer from hotel to the boat itself.

An amazing experience that’s is worth doing in Hugharda. Firstly the team on board the boat were great and so helpful everywhere we went. There is unlimited water/coke/sprite and hot drinks which stayed cool and refreshing the whole day. Secondly the pick up and drop offs were very smooth, we were provided with our pick up time via WhatsApp and details of the trip the night before, please make sure you bring your own towels. There is an entrance fee for the island of £10 per person which is paid to the team. The first stop was Orange Bay, which was around 2 hours we could relax and enjoy the bay. We all then went back onto the boat for lunch which was really nice. We then went to 2 different areas for snorkelling, all equipment is provided like the snorkel, flippers and life jacket but it is up to you if you use them. If you are not as comfortable in the sea the team really do help you or just let you go into the sea near the boat if you don’t not want to swim out further. You then end up back where the drop off was and your transfer is waiting to take you back to your hotel. The whole trip was a very smooth process and would highly recommend to anyone.

Me and my wife booked our Orange Bay trip through this company, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The booking process was very easy, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always available to help. The boat was clean and comfortable, the service was excellent, and everything was well organized. Orange Bay itself was absolutely beautiful, and we really enjoyed the snorkeling and the overall atmosphere. The quality of the trip exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely book with this company again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing trip and wonderful crew

The trip overall was enjoyable, but there are a few important details to share. The transport service arrived about 20 minutes late, which was mainly due to other tourists not respecting the pick-up time. This is something to expect, so patience is needed. Be aware of extra costs: around €20–30 for photos and videos by choice, plus an additional €10 government fee that is not included in the advertised price. The meal provided was disappointing and did not meet the standard one would expect from a “VIP” package. On the positive side, the guide and crew were very friendly and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The snorkeling and time at Orange Bay were beautiful, and the day itself was pleasant. With improvements to the food service and more transparency about extra fees, this tour could truly live up to its VIP label.

Overall I would have given this tour 5 stars except for one huge problem. Overall the tour is well organized. The company communicated through WhatsApp and answered all questions. Pickup was right on time. On the boat you get free soda and coffee. They serve nice lunch as well. Ride to the island is not very long and we saw a dolphin along the way. On the island there are dedicated spots for guests. No credit cards are accepted. There's also 10Euro park fees that has to be paid in cash. The spots are safe and you can swim in the Red Sea. Bring your own towel. Snorkeling was very decent. Now for the huge problem: Smoking! Unlike most boats, here if you're nonsmoker you have a choice: either sit under scorching sun in front of the boat or be surrounded by neverending cheap cigarette fumes that by the end of the day probably makes you smell like a two-packs-per-day. It's nonstop chain smoking on both upper and lower decks as well as the island. It's especially unbearable while the boat is moored. If the company can't provide adequate non-smoking environment they should at very least tell guests not to smoke until the boat is moving and clearly mention this in the tour description. This is very unacceptable and I was fluctuating between 3 and 4 stars just because of this issue.

Overall I had fun, the communication was so smooth. The pick up was fast with no delays. We spend the hours promised on the cruise, we did 2hours on the island and we also had 2 snorkelling stops. As a non swimmers they assisted my husband and made him feel safe and comfortable and this made him go on the second snorkelling stop. They could do better with the food. But overall we had fun and I recommend golden map tours.

We had an amazing boat trip to Orange Bay in Hurghada and would highly recommend it! From the start, the booking process and communication were excellent, with quick and helpful replies to all our questions before the trip. The boat itself was spacious, modern, and very clean, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy the day without ever feeling crowded. The real highlight, though, was the crew. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and respectful, always smiling and making sure everyone was okay without ever being pushy. The food was fresh and tasty, and the snorkeling experience was fantastic. What we really appreciated was how well they catered for all experience levels, from complete beginners to more confident swimmers, making sure nobody missed out. Safety and responsibility were clearly a priority throughout the trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Hurghada.

Bebo was the best guide. Very helpful. Would have liked more snorkeling and more time on orange bay but other than that was great.

Bahaa was an amazing guide. Breakfast and lunch was provided on the tour, 2 snorkeling stops and time at Orange Bay island. Unfortunately, time was wasted sailing between islands where others were being dropped off, meaning we didn't get the full 2 hour stop ourselves. The first snorkeling stop there was lots to see but the second not so much. The boat trip itself was also nice. There is a 10 euro per person charge at the island and photography is charged at 60 per couple.

Trip was amazing, crew were absolutely fantastic, especially with my 3 year old granddaughter and 7 year old grandson (who has special educational needs). Communication prior to trip was excellant and exceptionally friendly. We definitely recommend this.

I celebrated my birthday with my boyfriend and we had the best day from start to finish. The whole team on board looked after us so well, kept everyone entertained and made sure every single person was having an incredible time. The atmosphere was so fun and friendly, and the snorkelling spots were beautiful! Amazing value for money and such a memorable experience. We had an excellent day during the VIP boat excursion to Orange Bay Giftun Island & snorkeling in Hurghada. The hotel pick-up and drop-off in an air-conditioned vehicle within Hurghada was comfortable and well organized. The 8-hour boat trip was amazing, with two guided snorkeling/diving stops at beautiful coral reefs, including all snorkeling equipment. We also enjoyed two wonderful hours on Orange Bay Island. Lunch and drinks (coffee, tea, soda/Coca-Cola, and water) were very good. Life jackets were provided, and the whole team was friendly and professional. Everything was perfectly organized and everything went very well. We highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Hurghada!

The whole trip was excellent, the guys as so attentive and as a solo traveller this was appreciated, it wasn't over the top, just right, they checked on me and took time out to chat. The photographer was excellent and really took some special shots which on my own I would not have got, all round a fantastic trip amd well worth the money! Not that is cost much, it was a bargain through Viator amd would recommend them too.

Lovely experience. The orange bay had nice and clear water. The guides were helpful, making sure we had fun and were safe, especially thank you to Mohammed, SinSin, Zamir, and Islam. The snorkelling was amazing after we even saw dolphins. Overall, communication with the company was very good. The food was okay.

The snorkeling was amazing experience but the beach itself wasn’t great water very shallow also lunch provided wasn’t great at all
