Sultan Luxury Turkish Hammam&spa Experience With Hotel Transfer

I did the cleopatra one. The experience was not relaxing at all. The spa was noisy, people/guests talking everywhere. The bath was good, the lady was good and the massage was great, loved it. The salt room was a bit disgus#ing for me, the wall was not a good sight. For a good massage and Turkish bath i recommend, for relaxation, I do not recommend at all bcz you will not relax. If I knew it was noisy i would not have booked it.

It was a great experience from start to finish, what an amazing building the art work is unbelievable! Went as a family while on holiday to see what the whole Turkish Bath Hammam was about. We booked through Get Your Guide and our driver was prompt and speedy. Very safe and drove with purpose. Upon entering, we were greeted by the desk hosts and quickly taken to the Relaxation Room. We registered for the Luxury VIP Hammam and Spa with a private room and private transfer. We sat in this room for about 15-20 minutes while served a hibiscus juice (very tasty). We were offered (5 Euro/$5) the chance to sit and have the fishes eat the dead skin off our feet. We've done this before and chose to decline. It's actually kind of fun, and apparently these guys are pretty hungry! We were then taken upstairs to a room where the three of us changed into our swim suits and locked our belongings in a cabinet. We held the key during our entire visit. First stop was the sauna for 10-15 minutes. It was HOT! Next stop was a marvelous marble room with a marble center pedestal big enough to fit the three of us! I recommend for women to not wear a one piece suit. Much easier if you have a two piece. Next step is an all over loofah type of scrub down from front to back. Next step was a strange, but enjoyable experience where they place a foam all over your body using these wet pillowcase type of fabric filled with air. Again, front and back. You are rinsed from head to toe. Once rinsed, you are then scrubbed with a floral smelling sugar scrub all over, then wrapped in a sheet, and a clay face mask is applied. You are there about 15 minutes, then they come back in and rinse you again head to toe. Once you are fully rinsed, you are whisked back to your original room where a Jacuzzi and fruit are awaiting you. When the Jacuzzi is done, we had a 45 minute massage, with great oils and technique! Positive experience overall! A few minor things we wish had been different were: Jacuzzi water hotter, they could review the process at the outset while in the Relaxation Room, the masseuses should have been quiet during the massages, and they IMMEDIATELY wanted us to write their review and tip them upon completion. We're happy to do both, but it felt very "expected" and rushed. They were very busy when we went, and they clearly offer other services as well. We would recommend you enjoy this experience, or at least try some services that they offer. It was an unusual experience for us, but overall, we enjoyed ourselves and our time there! Give them a try!

Went as a group of 4 ladies. Moved around from salt room to sauna like a conveyor belt. Distressed during the Hamman as men walked into the room, (unclear why) and when moved from sauna to area for massage had to wslk past several staring men. Felt very vulnerable and only really relaxed during my massage. Unfortunately my friend had a very unsettling experience where she felt she was touched inappropriately. Never again.

This was a lovely experience. We are very happy that we chose the Sultan Spa. The interior was beautiful and clean. All people were very friendly and attentive. No pestering about tips. Very relaxing and good quality service received. We've had relax in salt cave, jacuzzi (the water could be warmer), hot steam sauna and dry sauna. Then we've had a hammam treatment with coconut scrub which removed the old, dry skin and left it nice and soft. The waiting in resting area was a bit too long and the aircon was set too low for our preferences. Afterwards we've had a professional, relaxation massage. There was no issue with communication as all people that dealt with us, spoke communicative English. We highly recommend all the treatments. We will definitely use this offer again. We left refreshed and relaxed. We really regret we haven't found this place sooner.

Good overall experience little improvements would make this a 5*. Booked though Get your Guide and paid £60 for 2 adults and this included hamman treatment, face and body scrub, and 45 mins massage including transfers from Sahl Hasheesh. The massage was very good but we didn't receive a full 45 minutes maybe 30 but it was enjoyable and we had a private room for our treatment together.

So, I went to this spa with a friend a year ago and was thrilled. That's why my friend and I chose this spa again this year. We were picked up at the time and brought there. There was a salt room, sauna, Jacuzzi, hammam and massage. Initially, everything was fine. We came with our group np hamam. The first part of our group was brought inside, and I sat for a few minutes with my friend and the second part of the group. We were led. My part of the group immediately began to do peeling and foam soap, and I was sitting. After a couple of minutes, they took me to the first group and sat me down. While the first group was undergoing the procedure, I sat and waited. The first part of the group begins to make a scrub and a mask. They lay there for a long time.A girl came. She started to do peeling and foam soap massage. I did it quickly and then a scrub with a mask. I lay with this for less than five minutes, while others lay longer. They started washing everything off for others, and they started washing everything off for me. I was taken away with the FIRST GROUP, although I came in much later. The second group arrived 15-20 minutes later In the end, I had everything redone in a hurry and was quickly massaged by another girl. She is very sweet, pleasant and professional. She's doing great. She did a good massage and was well-mannered. Second girl number 40🔥🔥🔥Najwa . She is so cuuuteeee🔥she mush have a bigger salary But I'm still disappointed. We paid for the tour on equal terms, but they initially did everything badly for me. Thanks, that spa solved this problem and I had a normal piling and massage

It was so excellent that I forgot to take pics. If you ever come to Egypt, this place is a MUST! Proffessional staff and extremely clean. From the moment you are picked up and returned back to your hotel, it is an exemptionary service. Book the VIP package (2nd pic). I would pay 6 times more in the UK and don't get half this package. Lovely place, great salt room, sauna, steam, jacuzzi and massage. With the Hammam, we are meant to be getting a small massage with it, however it was very quick and my husband did not get a massage at all.

Prior to our holiday we booked a VIP spa trip for 6 of our party. This included private transfer from our hotel then private Hamman with massage. We booked this at a cost of £25 each for the morning after we arrived on holiday. I received confirmation the day before via WhatsApp and our driver was at hotel reception on time to collect us. Following a short drive to the spa, we were shown to a seating area and given a welcome drink. Some kind of fruit juice I think. We were then shown upstairs to a changing area. Our group had 3 men and 3 women so we were split into 2 rooms. We were then taken to the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi as a group then through to the marble beds for exfoliation. For this again we were split into 2 groups of the 3 with the women having a female masseuse each and the men having a male masseuse. For the massage, any couples were in a room together. The whole experience was lovely. When we were shown back to the changing area we were given a small snack and bottle of water. Following the experience we were asked to complete a feedback form then returned to our hotel. Would thoroughly recommend. We are returning to Egypt next year again and will book the spa again.

Utterly divine. Mona Lisa & Yusef looked after us for our two hour session. Fantastic service; we felt totally pampered & relaxed throughout. Couldn't fault it. 10/10.

That has absolutely nothing to do with relaxation and recreation. Mass processing and herding people through. Unfriendly, really very disappointing. Really not recommended.

We were in Hurghada in mid-November and were offered an alleged VIP hammam visit to the Sultan Spa through our tour operator – first for €70 per person, then suddenly €35 after a brief reference to local prices. Already that had to make us quite fuzzy, but the good reviews convinced us. Unfortunately, it turned out that almost none of this corresponds to the truth. The transfer was already an experience that should not be expected of anyone: Our driver barely spoke English, spoke on the phone while driving, gestured wildly and drove extremely fast. On a track at 90 km/h they were driving 150 km/h and we almost got into an accident when he didn't notice an approaching car. Already here, any sense of security was gone. Once at the spa, the next shock: The facility is secluded on an “unnamed road” – and that’s how it works. Outside the entrance were covered luxury SUVs, which does not fit the image of a reputable spa. The interior turned out to be mass handling, which has nothing to do with “VIP”. We were greeted with a juice from the plastic cup, the receptionist spoke difficult to understand English, but perfect Russian. The locker rooms were tiny, crowded and not really clean, and there were no keys for the lockers. The bath flaps provided seemed to be used several times without disinfection. I had to store my clothes in my partner's locker because no one of my own worked. The process was anything but relaxing: You were transferred from station to station in groups – first “warm-up”, then salt cave, then steam sauna, whirlpool and finally hammam. No sign of peace. In the salt cave we had over ten people and several very loud children. The mood was hectic, restless and we felt more like we were in a poorly organized spa at peak season. We approached the reception that this was not in line with what we were sold. Discussions followed, during which we were shown receipts from other guests – some over €100 for the same alleged VIP performance. Only after a clear follow-up were we finally brought into the “VIP area”. But this one, too, was disappointing: At first we sat in the dark because the gallery was unlit. Later we were led to a small separate hammam area. Treatment was mediocre and certainly not VIP level. However, the massage that followed was the lowest point: Despite an explicit request for “medium”, I was massaged extremely hard and literally pushed into the much too small lounger. Some grips seemed unprofessional and risky. In particular, the “reclining” of the cervical spine was completely inappropriate and by no means something that belongs in a hammam. Since that day, I've had significant back pain. After the treatment it did not get better: We had to sit in the cold, unlit waiting area again. As a “service”, we received an already opened water bottle, the origin of which was completely unclear – we did not touch it, of course. The return transfer was done again with the same driver, who at the end penetratingly asked for tips and reacted insulted when we did not give one. Conclusion: This spa has absolutely nothing to do with relaxation, quality or VIP. Instead: Mass handling, unsanitary conditions, unprofessional treatments, risky massage techniques, dangerous transfers and a totally excessive price. For us it was an experience that we definitely wouldn't repeat and can't recommend to anyone.

We booked the massage quite easily via WhatsApp and were even picked up directly from our hotel (about 30 minutes away). Before the actual massage we were allowed to use the salt chamber, sauna, steam bath and whirlpool together with another group (about 5 minutes each), which was a great tuning, but also a bit like on the assembly line. Afterwards we were led to the Hammam room where we were pampered by very friendly and professional masseurs. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. The end was a 30-40 minute oil massage – incredibly soothing and just the thing to relax. Overall an all-round successful experience, which we can absolutely recommend!

Activity purchased on GYG at most reasonable price. Good organization, except that the taxi driver thinks he’s a rapper, music to the core and he makes his car “dance” with violent braking (no one found it funny or pleasant). The welcome to the Turkish bath is professional with a small drink (very chemical). I find it very unfortunate that then men and women were separated, I had come to spend a good time with my son and my husband and found myself alone with unknown women who did not speak my language. The sequencing of treatments is well organized, but, again, I didn’t really enjoy the moment in the hot tub, for example, being alone. Peeling, foam care,... went well. But as for the massage, 2 massagers / his were very good, but my husband’s thought he was an osteopath by making him make very advanced movements, worthy of an osteo! This caused great pain at the time but also afterwards, he had severe pain the whole end of the stay and must now go to a “real” osteo to put everything in order (tingling in one arm / hand,...). I am therefore mixed on this activity. The setting is quite nice, but doesn't really match the photos anyway...

The transfer from the hotel and back was already the best, you come in is divided like a flock of sheep gets a 0.1 L cup of juice concentrate and is then parked in a storage room called a salt cave this room was very uncomfortable and disgusting, then you are put in a sauna which has nothing to do with well-being, further on you go to a hot tub until you are called to the washroom, the washing was not relaxing due to the constant conversations of the employees, after allocation of the masseur it went to a wooden shed where they tried to perform a massage.... here I was already asked if I will give a tip?

Overall, I liked it. Especially massage. You have to understand that this is a favor for the group. You're taken to different locations and procedures are done for the whole group. If you want to be alone or with a couple, you have to pay extra. For that money, great)

We were at the spa twice with booking for messages. The third time, they canceled because there were no cars to pick us up. The service was still debited and we are unable to get the refund
