Real good guild with a wealth of knowledge, I will say at the end of the day we were shattered. The only down side are the market traders as some dont like no for an answer but every group had this issue and our guild did help where possible.

Itinerary
You will travel by comfortable minivan from your hotel in Hurghada to the historic city of Luxor, located to the south of Hurghada. The journey takes approximately 4 hours. During the drive, you can relax and enjoy the changing landscapes as you move closer to one of Egypt’s most remarkable and ancient destinations. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will begin your exploration of its world-famous monuments and rich historical heritage.
The Karnak Temple Complex is a magnificent cult temple dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. It is the largest religious structure ever built, developed over more than 2,000 years by successive generations of pharaohs. In ancient times, this vast sacred site stood as one of the most awe-inspiring achievements of human civilization. Although parts of the complex now lie in ruins due to natural forces and flooding over the centuries, its grandeur remains undeniable. Even today, Karnak continues to overshadow many modern wonders with its sheer scale, monumental columns, and timeless atmosphere, offering visitors a powerful glimpse into the glory of ancient Egypt.
Banana Island is located to the west of Luxor and is a charming natural retreat that attracts many visitors seeking relaxation in a peaceful and scenic environment. Covering approximately 5 acres, the island is richly filled with lush banana plantations alongside palm trees that reflect the agricultural beauty of the Luxor region. In addition, the island is home to a variety of fruit trees such as figs and guavas, which are often shared with guests, offering a true taste of local freshness. The island features a simple yet inviting setting, with seating areas made from natural materials such as tree branches, creating an authentic rustic atmosphere. A traditional water wheel adds to the charm of the landscape, providing a picturesque backdrop for memorable photos. With its natural beauty and tranquil ambiance, Banana Island offers a perfect escape from the city and a refreshing experience in the heart of the Nile.
The Colossi of Memnon are two monumental stone statues located on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. Standing at over 18 meters high, they were built during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty in the 14th century BCE. These towering figures once guarded the entrance of a massive mortuary temple and continue to stand as powerful symbols of ancient Egyptian civilization. Despite the passage of thousands of years, the Colossi remain remarkably impressive, captivating visitors with their scale, history, and mysterious presence. Today, they are among the most iconic landmarks in Luxor, attracting travelers from around the world who come to admire their grandeur and learn about their fascinating past.
This desert valley served as the ancient burial ground for many Egyptian pharaohs and nobles. It contains more than 60 royal tombs, each carved deep into the rock and richly decorated with scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology and the journey to the afterlife. Among its most famous discoveries is the Tomb of Tutankhamun, which was found in remarkably well-preserved condition, revealing priceless treasures and offering an extraordinary glimpse into ancient Egyptian civilization. Today, the valley remains one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world, attracting visitors with its mystery, history, and timeless beauty.
The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, known in ancient Egyptian as Djeser-Djeseru (“Holy of Holies”), is one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Egypt. Built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty, it is located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the city of Luxor. This magnificent temple is widely regarded as a masterpiece of ancient architecture. Its three grand terraces rise elegantly from the desert floor and blend seamlessly into the dramatic limestone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, creating a breathtaking and unique setting. The temple reflects the power and vision of one of Egypt’s most successful female pharaohs, with beautifully preserved reliefs that depict her reign, divine birth, and famous trading expedition to the Land of Punt. Today, the temple stands as a symbol of beauty, harmony, and innovation, offering visitors an unforgettable glimpse into the brilliance of ancient Egyptian civilization.
After completing your unforgettable journey in Luxor, you will travel back to your hotel in Hurghada in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The return journey takes approximately 4 hours, allowing you time to relax and reflect on the incredible sights and experiences of the day. As you leave behind the timeless wonders of Luxor, you can enjoy the peaceful scenery along the way, making the return trip both comfortable and enjoyable. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off safely at your hotel, bringing a memorable and enriching day to a perfect end.

The trip was amazing! I highly recommend it to everyone. We were only six people, and we started at 6:30 instead of 4:30, which was great for the kids. The price was also much cheaper than the group option offered by our tour operator back home. One of the best parts was that, at most places, we didn’t have to wait for anyone else. We could decide how much time to spend at each location and what exactly we wanted to do, which made the experience much more enjoyable and relaxed. The itinerary was excellent. First, we visited Karnak Temple, which was absolutely impressive. Then we took a boat trip to Banana Island, which was a fun and relaxing experience. After that, we had lunch before continuing to the Temple of Hatshepsut, which was truly stunning. Finally, we visited the Valley of the Kings, which was an unforgettable highlight of the trip. A guide was included for the entire trip, which made everything even better and more informative. Everything was very well organized, and we really enjoyed the whole experience
Very organized tour and the guide was very helpful and he well explained everything for us. We really enjoyed looking at the different places and also saw so many amazing things. I would definitely book this trip again Thank you
It was an amazing experience! The tourist guide Farid is incredible, his energy and knowledge made this experience so much better! I recommend this experience for all. Lovely Day
This experience worth each penny . The experience was super. Everything went smoothly Our guide ahmed. Nice and help With big smile. Love it
Nice trip to Luxor with the best guide and drivers. If you want to see the temple of hatshepsut, cruise the Nile and visit the Valley of Kings as well as the Karnak temple and have a nice meal by the Nile river all in one day this is an excursion that will cover it all. Highly recommend to go as a small group to get a little more time and the guides and driver will have time for your questions.
The tour was good, we were picked up in time, mini van, small group. What didn’t work out that way is the communication between the organizers and the riders, who wanted to collect the cost of the tour again. One of them was even very loud and decisive and wanted the money badly. We fought back and said everything was paid for. We had to show the receipt and a par had to contact the Versnstalter. Then it was clear and the journey could continue. The temples are worth seeing, the city goes like this, not so beautiful. A drive across the Nile would "sell" us (not included in the price) to the restaurant (the food included in the price). The tour guide we booked in German, but since the group was mixed he spoke English. Very nice, though. Everything looked at, but we didn't have much time for the Valley of the Kings, we could only see 4 tombs (there are about 62) but the most important one we saw. Tutankahmun was extra to pay. 😟 The ride back was ok but also again envelope given in the round for the tip. When you visit the temples you get socked by locals. They offer to take a picture and then they reach out for money. The sellers there are very insistent, they almost want to force you to buy and get angry if you don't. When you go in a shop or factory, you usually go out with purchased goods because they are so annoying until you buy and the prices are not worth the goods. Watch out!
