Our guide Wessam provided us with detailed and interesting information, and she was very attentive, kind, and likeable. We also saw the Sphinx, and after a very delicious lunch, we were able to buy souvenirs at a local bazaar. Following that, our guide showed us the wonderful Grand Egyptian Museum.

We booked a private day trip from Hurghada to Kairo for our family of 5 with three kids (teenager to preschool) to visit the Gizeh Platea, the Pyramids, actually get into the Cheops Pyramid, see the Sphinx and visit the new Great Egyptian Museum. The trip itself went super smooth with on time pick ups, flights and transfers and plenty of time as the respective sights, good explantations addressing pur specific interests. Travelling with kids and day excursions can be stressful - but our fantastic guide and driver made it a very family friendly, interesting and fun trip for all of us. Lunch option was okay, pretty much what you can expect on theese trips. The Hotel Breakfast Box and Water supply turned out very useful.

Cairo via plane was fantastic. Semi private pick up from accommodation details of check in given by driver. Flight was 70 minutes compered to 5 hour drive. On landing headed out arrivals to a kiosk for on the beach. Given our driver, collected our guide and went on our way. The day was amazing however just 1 quick note ask the guide for a detailed itinerary of the day. As we chose to miss the bazaar and perfume parts for longer in the museum.

The whole experience was very organised, The first driver picked us up from our reception exactly on time, he was very friendly. When we arrived at Cairo we met our second driver Sharif who drove us around to each stop in Cairo. He was also very friendly and helpful, he drove carefully and made sure we were comfortable. He Took us to Giza where we met our tour guide, Wessam. She was great. She had a vast knowledge of Egypt and answered all questions we asked no matter how stupid. She was very personable, and we got along great with her. We loved how when we got to the museum she gave us options on how we would like the tour to go. In all she was very passionate about her work. Thank you for the great experience we would highly recommend this tour to friends.

We traveled to Cairo on 05.05.26. Shaima was our guide. This trip to Egypt will be remembered for a lifetime. We visited the Giza Pyramids and rode camels, and we were impressed by our visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza. We also took photos with the Sphinx and visited the new Museum of Egyptian Civilization. In addition, Shaima organized a short boat trip on the Nile for us. We had a private tour for our family, which includes two teenage children and a baby. Shaima was very attentive to everyone, and she supported her wife, who wasn't feeling well that day. Shaima was very quick to get in line and was the first to tell us a lot of facts about Egypt. By the way, she speaks Russian well, and everything was quite clear. I highly recommend this tour. She was an excellent guide, and we were lucky to have her.

I booked a trip to Cairo—including visits to the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum—through Tripadvisor, presented by Viator and operated by Famco Tours. The booking clearly stated that all fees and entrance tickets were included. I was instructed to provide my hotel room number upon arrival in Hurghada, which I did promptly. Afterward, I received messages via WhatsApp from a representative of Famco Tours stating that I would need to pay additional fees for the museum entry and the tour itself, otherwise my booking would be cancelled. This communication was distressing, as the representative was largely unresponsive except when requesting payment for services that had already been advertised as included. I attempted to access my Tripadvisor account to clarify the situation; however, I was unable to log in from Egypt despite trying via the mobile app, browser, and desktop. As we did not want to miss the excursion, we felt compelled to pay the additional fees. The following day, we flew to Cairo. Upon arrival, there was no representative waiting for us at the airport. Without Wi-Fi or mobile data, we had no means of contacting the tour operator. We had to approach various drivers before eventually locating ours by chance, as there was no clear signage or identification. The tour itself was rushed and poorly organized. Our visit to the pyramids allowed little to no time for photographs, and at the museum we were given only about one hour, which was insufficient to properly experience such a large and significant site. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The tour was overpriced, poorly organized, rushed, and lacked clear communication throughout. The operator’s conduct was unprofessional, and the overall standard of service fell well below expectations.

We can’t thank Famco tours enough, it was stress less from being picked up at the hotel on time to being dropped back off again at the end of the day. We , as a group of 4 , booked a one day trip to Cairo by air from Hurghada The tour was exclusively for us and we were promised, at an additional cost of $120 , that it tailored to our specific requests. Our specific objective was to visit the Great Eygptian Museum (GEM). and taking in other sites as time permitted. The day in Cairo started badly when we were not met, as promised, at Cairo Airport. We lost over an hour and a half after landing before we were picked up. We only achieved this through a very kind taxi driver contacting Famco and others to get a taxis to us. The taxi that arrived was not fit for purpose and unsuitable to convey 4 pensioners and guide . We eventually met our guide under a flyover in the middle of Cairo. His English was inadequate and did not understand that we had booked a private and tailorable tour. After much discussion he persuaded to visit the Sphinx and Pyramids on the grounds that we would have plenty of time to then visit GEM After spending approximately an hour there we asked at 1:30 to go to GEM We arrived at GEM at 2pm and he told us that it closed at 5pm Actually GEM closed at 4pm so we only spent 2 hours at GEM ! Our guide on numerous occasions throughout the day wanted us to go to lunch, visit a medical school for coffee, antiques shops, and artisan workshops. We told him that as our guide he should have been aware of closing times of GEM.Had our guide (George) been aware of closing times and we had been picked up on arrival at Cairo we would have spent at least 2 to 3 hours more in GEM and foregone the visit to the Sphinx / Pyramids ( which ) we have previously visited Famco has spectacularly failed to deliver what we paid for. We only spent 2 hour in GEM and we are deeply disappointed at the outcome. We thought that booking through TripAdvisor that the service would be up to scratch - but quite clearly it was not. Therefore we advise anyone thinking of using Famco to think again

A well organised trip with pick up at our Hurghada hotel and at the airport in Cairo with the drivers and guides finding is and others willing to help to connect the many tourists with their guides. Getting 815am flight worked perfectly. Plenty of time to have at the Egyptian museum, then lunch then Giza, followed by a couple of shopping /exhibitions of olis/perfumes and Egyptian art. Was offered an extra trip on the Nile for additional cost. Only downside was being back at the airport at 5pm and flight not until 9pm. No others in the schedule to change to either. Advice outside of the hot months time wise it is not worth getting a 2-3am pick up for this trip as you will still be back in the evening.

It was just the best trip to Cairo we could asked for. We booked a VIP trip and had a car and a guide just for us. I have to say that our guide Yehia was simply the best!!! Very good communication and quick responses. We took one day tour to Cairo by plane. It was really good logistically organized. After arriving 2,5 hours in Pyramids and after the lunch visiting the GEM which is brilliant.

We had a lovely experience today with our tour guide Ahmed, he was calm, kind and had good knowledge of the pyramids of Giza, we enjoyed seeing the pyramids and sphinx followed by lovely Egyptian lunch of kushary followed by dessert of rice and bread pudding. A nice experience.

Our guide “Kongo” was awesome. The flight was delayed by govt action, he used the time to call me and tell me he would go and get all our Giza/GEM tickets in advance and pick us up a traditional Egyptian breakfast then meet the van half away along the road from Cairo to Giza, we ate while he began to tell us everything we were going to see that day and the rearranged itinerary. It was clear to us all day that he was as passionate about ensuring we had the best possible experience as he was about the history and culture of Egypt, awesome guy, awesome day

Completed the day trip to Cairo by flight to visit the Giza Complex and GEM museum. From start to finish the trip was well organised with great communication from FAMCO tours. I was given quick and prompt updates on trip and put my mind at ease. The tour guide was fantastic and fun to be with. She had a wealth of knowledge and made the trip worth while. I had a very good experience with the operator and the guide. Pickup, transfer to the airport, and meeting with the guide in Cairo all went smoothly and without any problems. I would definitely say the tour was worth the money, and I truly enjoyed my time. On the way back to Hurghada, my flight was delayed, and I was a bit worried about how the driver would pick me up from the airport. However, the operator stayed in touch with me on WhatsApp the whole time and advised me not to worry about the transfer. And yes — the driver was right there at the exit of the arrivals hall, waiting for me. So, if you want to have an interesting and hassle-free trip, I highly recommend going with Famco Tours!

The trip was very comfortable ,but Cairo was very disappointing to commercialized to busy .museum amazing, the tour guide arranged the camel ride at the pyramids. the trip on the Nile, so you had no idea of the price, but on another trip the price was told to us upfront he would just ask for the money at the end of the trip of which i have no doubt he would have pocketed a small profit .overall my trip was ok not thrilling the lunch time meal made you feel like sheep rush in and out within half an hour, in my opinion if it was not for the pyramids the sphinx and museum, this part of Egypt would have no tourists, they constantly harass you for money from the security staff even our armed guard if they take a photo of you ,I'm sorry if you did not beg for a hand out every time we ask you something or hold a door open for example. in our country its good manners which is not expected to be rewarded with silver all the time. Would i go again definitely not.
