An early start in Hurghada, sunrise over the Red Sea and desert. Impressive views of the Pyramids and Cairo. Go for a camel ride!!! The New Egyptian Museum is a landmark and filled with overwhelming history. Take your time to visit. We had two drivers which gave us an excellent feeling about our safety. The guide in Cairo was giving us enough information but did not float us with history, very balanced. Overall absolutely worth the money.

Itinerary
The Grand Egyptian Museum is the largest museum of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. Located a few miles west of Cairo, it boasts a direct view of the Giza Pyramids. The museum houses over 100,000 artifacts, including the entire treasures of King Tutankhamun, such as his golden mask, sarcophagus, and scepter, as well as artifacts from the Greco-Roman period discovered in Egypt. In addition to commercial and entertainment facilities, a restoration center, and a museum garden, it is designed to accommodate 5 million visitors annually.
The traveler will see the pyramids, one of the oldest seven wonders of the world, the tombs of the Pharaohs, built about 2690 BC. The treasures of the invaluable kings, which they buried with them to use them in other life as they claimed, the treasures of the pyramids have been looted for thousands of years and discoveries are still in progress.
The Sphinx is one of the largest statues in the world, with a length of 20 meters, Faisal width to 73 meters, and features the body of a lion and a human head, and adorned his head with the cover of the royal head, a statue sculpted from one piece of limestone, The three pyramids were built as a tomb to protect the king's body and to preserve the supplies he would need in the underworld from thieves. The most important characteristic of the Sphinx in Giza are some of the missing features, such as the nose, which was one meter long and no one knows anything about it. The statue also features a long tail wrapped around its right foot.

perfect day with Mickael as a driver. he was great and give us water and snacks during the trip. Very friendly such as our guide Marwa wich was a réal open book about egyptian civilisation I recommand 100% hope to see them again when we came back :)
perfect! we had a great time! thank you so much! next time luxor!! driver and guide were the best. they let us as long as we wanted to be in new museum of cairo, nice lunch, snacks on the road. respected the children. if they did not want to walk, they manage other way to reach the point. recomend!!!
Amazing experience! Trusted company, felt safe throughout, great driver and knowledgeable tour guide. Lots of time to take photos, great communication with the company from booking until the day you leave, even had a call from the manager on my return to as if I enjoyed the experience. We had 3 rest/toilet stops each way, we were given the option of what we would like to do whilst in Cairo, no pressure and were able to leave each attraction when ready. I read the reviews on here before I booked and don’t usually leave one, but they helped me find a reputable company and I would like to share my thoughts to do the same. It was magical and absolutely worth the 6 hours travelling, in my view it’s better than flying to Cairo from Hurghada, no hassle of the airport and able to leave early if you like, as apposed to waiting for your flight. If you are going to book, this company is great!!
The tour was very well organized. The drivers were professional and was driving very safely. Baby seats wete prepared for the children. The guide in Cairo - Heny - was very professional and also entertaining and was listening carefully for all our wishes. Overall excellent trip & organization with very professional staff.
Don't get me wrong it was a long day but from the start when the guys picked us up at the hotel it was fabulous. We were a party of 4 ,The drivers were great supplied us with snacks and drinks and made plenty of stops for comfort breaks. When we arrived in Cairo and met up with our guide/ Egyptologist Hany, it got even better. I don't think there is anything about Egypt's he doesn't know and explains things so well with a great sense of humour. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a personalised tour of Cairo and if you can, ask for Hany as your guide. The last time we did this we flew to Cairo but this was far better.
Amazing experience, well worth the long day to see such an iconic location. Hany our guide was fantastic and so knowledgeable, it was so good having him to ourselves throughout the day on this private trip.
Our trip was amazing. Hany was an amazing guide. He was very sociable and very interactive. He encouraged us to ask questions and did a fantastic job at sparking our interest. He knew the best spots to take pictures and took the liberty of taking a lot of pictures as well. It seemed like he was very well connected as we were able to skip all the lines at the museums and the pyramids. I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed this trip were I to do this in a group setting. Our driver, Mahmoud, is the best driver ever. He asked us multiple times if we were comfortable and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, this was the best possible way to explore Cairo and the pyramids. Egyptian people are very welcoming and very hospitable and we liked everything about it.
If I could give 4.5 out of 5, this would be our review. The drivers where both good guys, arrived on time, snacks of crisps water and fizzy drinks arranged through Mohamed who owns the company. The vehicle was a minivan, in good condition and the air-conditioning worked well. Communication in arranging the trip was very good. I'm inquisitive naturally and would have wanted to spend some of the 6 hours travel time with the drivers getting to know more about where we were en route, local Egyptian ways of life etc. I do appreciate that was not advertised in the package. They took turns between sleeping and driving and drove safely however as a UK citizen found it unnerving them using mobile phones and not wearing seatbelts. On connecting with our guide Sarawat in Cairo, he was friendly and did take care of entry to the museum, it is obvious he is well connected and known around town with his peers throughout the day. In the museum we focussed on key artifacts and he then left us for free time. This was the same when visiting the pyramids and sphinx also included and taken care of by Sarawat. You'll need 10LE if you want the toilet at the pyramids We did get the opportunity to do an optional boat trip on the Nile and Sarawat used his connections to book a large boat for 3 of us for £15 each which considering it probably takes over 20 people was excellent and lasted around 40 minutes. The food was good at lunch BBQ/grilled chicken and lamb kofta, note you'll need cash for drinks not included and you'll not be able to take your own. We were also encouraged by Sarawat to visit various other shops to buy papyrus pictures, perfume and souvenir stall. Overall a very long and enjoyable day but preferred driving seeing the country and having space and a personal guide than being in a group and flying. I also enjoyed driving through Cairo and seeing the hustle and bustle of normal daily life. Would recommend this trip and considering what was included was good value.
My second excursion out of Hurghada and organised once again by Mahmoud for our group of 7. Picked up by a modern clean minibus at 2am for our 6 hour drive to Cairo. Given the roads, I would not recommend this for anyone that is pregnant. Met by Hany, our local guide in Cario who was amazing and knowledgeable. He also recommended the camel ride with tutu ( optional extra) which I highly recommend, and gives you a chance to see the pyramids in its glory plus able to go into one of the smaller pyramids without an6 extra cost. Boat ride (also optional extra) was good to get some respite from the heat. Not rushed to leave Cario and didn’t leave until after 6pm after a fun packed day.
Such an amazing day. Based on the reviews we requested Hany as a tour guide, and I'd recommend doing the same. Hany was really knowledgeable about Egyptian history and culture. He also didn't make us feel pressured into trip add-ons. Having a private tour gave us extra time to see what we wanted to see, over doing a bus tour. Be aware that the driving in Cairo and Egypt in general is quite different to in the west. We chose to add-on a Nile boat trip (~£10pp), a tour of Old Cairo (~£10pp) and camel ride to a Giza Pyramid viewing point where we were able to get great pictures. I'd honestly recommend doing them all if you get chance.
We had a fantastic day from start to finish! The driver was early at the hotel and we were in capable hands all the journey. The company was kind enough to gift us 4 scarfs ready for our desert adventure! We picked up our tour guide (Abeer) in Cairo and she was an excellent guide and knew all the facts at her fingertips. She also was great giving us advice and do”s and don’t which was really helpful on our first visit to Egypt. We arrived early at Giza and visited the pyramids and sphinx which was awesome.ot wasn’t too busy . Do make sure you go inside a pyramid, it’s really worth it. Also had a camel ride at the site. Optional visit to papyrus workshop which was worth it and we did end up buying a picture! Then onto lunch which was really nice. You must try the fresh smoothies!! We drove through Cairo which was and interesting experience in itself!! The Egyptian museum was great and Abeer showed us the main points of interest and then we had free time to ourselves. A long day but definitely worth it!! We even had a call from the manager Mahmoud to ensure that we had enjoyed our day. Fantastic customer service, I would definitely use the company again on our next visit.
Wow wow wow what an amazing trip! everyone was so nice and looked after us very well. We thought for a trip of our lifetime it will be better to book a private tour to the pyramids instead of a group tour and we was definitely right. Our tour guide Abeer was amazing, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, she gave us all the time we need, for pictures, to explore inside the pyramids and took us to all the best spots to see everything. She explained everything so beautifully and made our trip so much better (she also takes the best pictures!) our driver was also so good, very comfortable car and very accommodating. He would stop whenever you need for a toilet or a break and we felt very safe with him (especially driving in the extremely busy Cairo). If you’re thinking of booking this then I can honestly say do it! We had an amazing time, it’s a long drive from Hurghada but it is so worth it. I recommend it completely, you won’t regret it.
Had a great day also because of our Tourguide Hany! Hé reaal explained in a Nice and funny way and he know so much. We Real enjoyed the whole day!
Absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to have Hany with us during our Cairo day trip. If you have a chance to request your tour guide, definitely ask for Hany. He is a tour guide for 27 years, his knowledge is absolutely amazing and you can clearly see he loves what he is doing. We enjoyed every second of the day. First we visited The Egyptian Museum, which we were a bit scared of because we are really not a museom visitor types, however Hány made everything so interesting, we learned a lot about perfumes( lotus and papirus) Mummys, actient culture, techniques...he will show you only the most interesting part of it, and we loved it. After this we had a good 20-25 minutes of boat trip on the Niles which was so relaxing (this is optional, but I would highly recommend it, it's cheap and worthy). You will see Hany is not just a tour guide, but a Captain too:) After this he took us to our buffet style restaurant. The food was very tasty, plenty of options including Indian food as well, and very good ice-cream too(make sure you have egyptian pound with you, since the drinks are not included and the do not accept euro, dollar or card). Then we visited the Pyramids in Giza. Bazaar seller will be very pushy, but just stay close to Hany... everybody knows him😉 you can make good deal but don't be shy to drop the original price drastically (feel free to half the original price) and just stay strong, eventually you will get a more reasonable price. Do not buy papyrus from them, after the Sfinx you will visit a papyrus factory where you can learn a lot about the procedure, and the whole staff is very welcoming and friendly. Here you can get 50% off for a handmade papyrus and if you pretend that the price it's even like this a bit too high for your budget, they are easy to get them drop it with another 10%. We booked a private tour, if you have a chance please o the same, we visited Luxor wig a bigger group and it was very disappointing. In a private tour you can get all the answers to all of your questions, the tour guide will pay a lot more attention to all of you, it's more relaxing, and better for your tour guide too😉.
I have traveled to many places but, this is probably the most interesting! The whole day is so perfect and when we met up with our tour guide Hany the whole day became so much better. He is amazing! He spoke the most perfect English and knew absolutely everything! He couldn’t have done anything more for us if he tried! Fantastic day. I would thoroughly recommend. If you can request Hany, you must. You won’t regret it! Thanks Hany. Hope to see you again. Tony and Izzy
It was an extraordinary day. I especially want to thank the drivers and the guide Jihane. Very nice people and very professionals. You can travel serenely. The hotel pick-up time was respected to the nearest minute. My childrens were very happy. Thank you very much. I recommend without any hesitation
This tour was so well organised, we were picked up by our driver just before 2am who had snacks and drinks in the car for us. It was a long drive but that’s to be expected and is unavoidable. Our tour guide Hany was so funny, kind and is obviously so passionate about his work. Hany sorted the tickets to all the sites and cut us through the crowds in the museum showing us some highlights with his extensive knowledge. We opted to add on Nile cruise which was worth it as got a boat to ourselves and was very relaxing after a long drive. We also added on a visit into the architects temple, both on Hany’s recommendation and I’m happy we did. We also had a camel ride with Tutu who was such a kind and funny man. All in all it was a fantastic day and the history and sights were just amazing. Thank you !!!
My partner and I went on this tour on the 17th of September 2022. I contacted Manolo Tours roughly two months before our holiday in Egypt to enquire about this trip. Mahmoud was very friendly and accommodating and we were able to set the date right away. Once we arrived in Egypt, we had to provide some extra information such as the name of the hotel, room number, and passport photos. This was necessary for the travel permits that are mandatory for all tours to Cairo (and Luxor). We were told we could pay on the day of the tour in Euro, Dollar, or Egyptian Pound. The day before the trip, Mahmoud texted (Whatsapp) us with the pickup time and even offered to send two scarves along as a gift in case we didn’t have hats (against the sun). On the day itself, we were picked up at 02:00 by our driver Ahmed, who was wonderful. He explained to us the length of the journey to Cairo (460 km, 5.5 hours) and the stops we’d make along the way. He also brought a bag of drinks and snacks for us to enjoy. Upon arrival in Cairo, we were joined by our tour guide Hany. We specifically requested him after reading many good reviews about him on Tripadvisor. Every single one of those reviews was right! Apart from being marvellously passionate and exceptionally knowledgeable about his country’s history, he also knows people everywhere he goes. He’s surely well-respected. Our tour was in English, but Hany speaks multiple other languages as well, including Polish. Our first stop was the Egyptian Museum. It was extremely busy, but Hany navigated us through the museum as if it was almost empty. Now, the museum is huge. It would take days if not weeks to see everything. Hany selected a wide range of objects to show and explain to us. These did not only include the most popular artifacts, but also an array of lesser-known objects that (unfortunately) did not seem to have the interest of the wider public. Long story short: we got to see a mesmerising collection of Egyptian artifacts from various time periods. In addition, Hany was more than happy to take photos when requested and to answer any questions. I wanted to know about the oldest object in the museum, and he took us to see a mummy that, I believe, dates to 3300 BC. Then he took us to see the most recent arrival as well. Afterwards, we could opt for extra tours: - A boat trip on the Nile (€25 p.p.) - A tour through Old Cairo (€35 p.p.) Neither of these is mandatory. We chose to do the tour through Old Cairo because it sounded very interesting. And it was. Hany took us to two Coptic churches. The first was Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, better known as the ‘Hanging Church’, dating to the third century AD. While there, Hany told us various stories related to the church and the history of Christianity in Egypt. Subsequently, we visited the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, dating to the fourth century AD. It is famous for the cavern atop which it was built. This cavern would have housed the Holy Family for three months while they were in Egypt. It was impressive to say the least. I cannot recommend this ‘inbetween tour’ enough, for this is a part of Cairo that you likely won’t see otherwise. Then we were picked up by Ahmed and driven to Giza, where our first stop was the restaurant where we had lunch. Consisting of a buffet, there’s something for everyone. Lunch is included in the price. You only pay for your drinks, which are inexpensive. I recommend the mango juice, which is fresh and delicious! During lunch, Hany explained several options for our visit to the pyramids. He recommended to take a camel tour in order to get away from the crowds and to see the famous panorama. We went with his recommendation. Prior to visiting the pyramids, we made a stop at a perfume essence store where we were given an informative presentation by a cordial gentleman on their production and use. This included welcome drinks and the opportunity to smell a variety of essences. We could mention any perfume, and the gentleman in question was able to show us the essence that were used to produce them. Now, it is not mandatory to purchase anything, and you’re not pressured into doing so. I had already decided that I wanted to purchase some perfume essence before coming to Egypt. As such, I purchased a bottle of lovely jasmine essence. Additionally, we also purchased some other essences as Christmas gifts for our mothers. About half an hour later we went to the pyramids. Walking around the premises was unreal. Hany explained many of their aspects and took some photos of us. There’s an option to enter the pyramids for an extra fee, but this is not a good idea for anyone suffering from claustrophobia as the passageways are pretty narrow. We opted for the Tomb of the Architect/Engineer (I'm not completely sure which one it was) instead, which lies next to one of the pyramids. There is proper space to move down there and there are hardly any other people. After walking around for a while, we started our camel tour. I’m not sure how to spell the name of our camel handler, but it’s pronounced as ‘two two’. He was very friendly and also took some photos of us. He took us past all of the pyramids. It would’ve been possible to go further to the Sphinx, but we decided to that by car instead. Of the Sphinx, I can only say that it was absolutely magnificent. Our last stop of the day was at the papyrus shop/museum. We got a short demonstration of how papyrus is made after which we had some time to look around. We purchased a small papyrus depicting a bright blue scarab. Then began the drive back to Hurghada, where we arrived around 21:00. Along the way, Mahmoud even called to ask how our day had been. It was a very long day, but it was absolutely worth it! We felt well taken care of during every step of the journey. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip from Manolo Tours to anyone who is interested in ancient Egyptian history and archaeology. If you decide you’d like to take this tour, I advise that you ask for Hany to be your guide. I’m not saying that other guides would not be good, but Hany was truly amazing. He made our day in Cairo truly unforgettable!
The trip is great. Everything was organized from beginning to end. He spoke to Mahmoud via WhatsApp about the details of the trip. He responded to all our questions and inquiries with cooperation, and this thing made us very happy. After the agreement, the trip was time for pick up on time, and our trip began with a cheerful driver and he did not hesitate to help us. We met In Cairo with our great guide, Mohamed, and he had a lot of information and his explanation was simple and the concept of i am admitted that it was a wonderful trip for us as a group and I want to thank everyone who organized this trip Mahmoud and Mohamed Mostafa the driver and our guide Mohamed. I highly recommend this trip
Brilliant day out. Our tour guide Hany was amazing. Really explained everything, even took us to places closed off to the public. 10/10 Everyone ask for Hany
Great experience with a fantastic guide who provided excellent knowledge about the pyramids, sphinx and Cairo in general. Big thanks to Hany our guide for the detail and care and attention given to the group and to the drivers for making the journey as painless as a 5 and a half hour journey can be
It was a mixed start as the time for pick up was moved earlier at very last minute. However, when the driver came he couldn't have been more accommodating. He brought a bag full of snacks and drinks along for rhe journey. It takes approx 6 to 7 hours due to all the stops . The guide was fantastic was able to help with any questions and was knowledgeable about all aspects of the day. He was able to advise on where to buy memorabilia from and ensured we were not ripped off or indeed badgered by people. It was tailored to what we wanted to get from the visit. I woukd recommend this company to anyone wanting to make the same trip
Everything started perfectly while our driver Ahmad was 5 minutes earlier waiting for us with such a comfort car , he was such a nice person even a very good driver 7 hours of driving was like 7 minutes. When we arrived at Cairo we got our Tour Guide Hany who is the funniest and the nicest person I’ve met here in Egypt . With Hany everything was easy no long waitings , funny times , perfectly guiding . Happy to have met these 2 guys and happy to enjoy my first pyramids visit with Manolo Tour.
Fantastic Overwhelming seeing the pyramids Memories that will stay with us forever Excellent Just be careful of touters they don’t take no for an answer
Excellent service. Very friendly. Tour guide was brilliant 🤩 Can’t wait to come back again 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
What an experience! Admittedly we had a long drive from Hurghada, Syed however was very kind and provided drinks, snacks and comfort breaks. Hany Mahmoud, our guide, was truly brilliant with us throughout the day! His knowledge was fantastic and he has a brilliant way of interacting you with the history with his personable character. No words are needed for the Great Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum, they are all breathtaking. Thank you so much Hany for making it a day we will never forget.
Long but very enjoyable day. My guide, Hany was very informative with a sense of fun. Arranged a lovely boat trip on the Nile to add to the day. Felt safe with the driver and Hany as a single traveler
Had a very nice daytrip to Caïro with a private driver and a tourguide. We recommend this company since it’s very professional
Fantastic day! Got picked up very early like 1:45 in the morning but we’ll worth the long day travelling with our driver Mohamed. He was excellent driver funny and very kind. He brought us a bag of goodies from the garage for breakfast. Let us stop for cigarettes and coffee toilet. After check point stops we headed for Cairo to pick up our tour guide Fatima aka (tuna) They both took us around the pyramids the after for photos. Off to lunch at restaurant in Cairo then off to museum which Fatima the tour guide was very very knowledgeable. All in all a very long day but stick with it as it was excellent & a life seeing moment seeing the pyramids and all that goes with it. 100% value for money! Thank you
Fantastic trip from start to finish and excellent value for money. Received several messages before the trip making the arrangements with Mahmoud who was happy to answer any questions we had even sent us a phot of the car that we would. travel in. We were picked up at 2am from our hotel by Mohamed and what an amazing driver he is. Provided us with water and a snack for the journey. In Cairo we met our guide Emmie she was fantastic, so much local knowledge and accommodated everything we wanted to do. The museum was fascinating and just the right length of time then we did a private boat trip on the Nile followed by lunch. After lunch we visited the pyramids where Emmie arranged a camel ride with Tutu who took us to areas for great photo opportunities. After this we learnt about all the different oils and how they make Papyrus paper. The day more than exceeded our expectations, you go at your own pace and there is no hanging around waiting for others . I would recommend anyone who wants to see Cairo and the Pyramids to do this private tour you will not be disappointed.
We had an amazing personalised trip to Cario and Giza from Hurghada. The private taxi journey was comfortable. The driver was excellent and totally flexible. On arrival at Cario we met Hany our tour guide. What a lovely person, passionate and so knowledgeable about Egypt and its history. He was able to answer all of our questions and more importantly told us about Egyptian culture and way of life in Cario. The museum was fascinating, Giza spectacular and the Nile river boat trip was the perfect sunset ending to the day. Would totally recommend using this company and using Hany on any tour in Egypt :)
Well organised trip from start to finish. We were really looked after and were allowed to take the day at exactly our own pace. Our guide, Hany was just lovely and very experienced. Early start from Hurghada (2am) so I guess that’s the down-side, but our driver turned up exactly on time and we slept in the car. Museum was fabulous, we then took an optional boat ride on the Nile for 360EGP each. Lunch was buffet style and quite busy, but the food was good and varied. Drinks were extra (50EGP for a coke). Then onto the pyramids where we took a camel ride (400EGP). Once again, actually a very relaxed experience as our guide took any stress out of the day. If you are thinking of booking this trip, I would have no hesitation in recommending it. For a reasonable price, you get the complete flexibility of a private tour and can really let the day run at your own pace.
As this was the first time we were travelling to Egypt I wanted to pick a private tour to give us the full 1 to 1 experience. We arrived in Egypt and I was contacted by Mahmoud via WhatsApp who required additional information about us both. Once sent I received the go ahead and a picture of the car and the drivers name who would collect us from our Hotel. Our driver, Mohamed was outside our hotel on time at 02:30am on March 21st 2022. By the way, Mohammed deserves a pay rise, he was absolutely fantastic, a very nice and humble gentleman and a fantastic driver who knew ever route without ever looking at a Sat Nav, it was amazing! He guided us to the very clean car with plenty of leg room. We were given drinks by the driver and he told us if we needed to stop for toilet breaks etc we only had to ask. He ensured us we had plenty of time to sleep on the 7 hour drive to Cairo. Mohammed drove at a speed we were both comfortable at the entire journey. We drove for around an hour before stopping at a checkpoint and a service station for a break. It was a bit of a wait but you do get to see other tourists in coaches, buses and cars and a chance to talk to them. Can i just say now how pleased I was to pay that little extra and have a private car as it was worth every penny and made the experience even better. Once we were cleared to go we departed, front of the queue and because I fell asleep I don’t remember much of the journey other than there are a lot of checkpoints and waiting around but rest assured once you’re past that point you arrive in Cairo. We arrived in Cairo where we met our wonderful, fantastic and highly educated tour guide, Hany Mahmoud. His knowledge of the city and its areas were incredible. His tone was so clear you understood everything and it was refreshing for once that Hany was engaging and listening to what we wanted and had to say. We were asked if there was any particular order we wanted to see the attractions, but decided to follow his lead. As we drove to our points we were given a tour of the city and our first stop was the The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, which was incredible. Hany lead us all the way through, purchased our tickets and showed us all the areas on the Museum without boring us! I’ve never been into my History much but Hany changed that, I was taking pictures and soaking it all in. After the museum we proceeded to the car where Hany asked if we’d like to have a ride on the Nile. Now, as the weather wasn’t the greatest (sunny but very windy) we were in two minds but Hany, bless him gave my wife his amazing Egyptian shawl and with no pressure suggested we go on the boat for a few minutes. We visited the point, took a few pics and decided against it which Hany took no offence to at all! From there it was a short journey by car to a beautiful restaurant near the pyramids for lunch. The food I was assured was prepared with the highest level of Hygiene. It was a buffet style lunch but Hany had ordered us something extra which was a lovely gesture. Hany then spoke to us briefly about our visit to see the pyramids and asked if we’d like to go on a camel ride for an extra fee, there was no pressure to buy. We agreed to the camel ride. On our way to the pyramids we stopped off at a local perfume shop where we given a tour and a brief talk. We had the chance to smell a few samples and at the end ask questions and purchase, again no pressure to buy but we did end up buying pure sandalwood oil. At the pyramids we had the chance to climb one of them and Hany took lots of pictures. It’s even better on the camels as our funny guide Totu took us away from the busy spots to an area where we saw all the pyramids in their glory. He took some brilliant shots of us and really made our trip special! The camels we very well looked after and overall a brilliant experience. I recommend this to everyone! After the pyramids our final stop was a local Papyrus shop where we again were given a tour and shown how Papyrus paper was made. Very cool! As we left Mohammed was waiting with the car to take us back to Hurghada. On the journey back Mahmoud called us to ask how our day had been and if we were happy with everything. It was a lovely call to receive and we both had big smiles on our faces! The day was very well organised, safe, tailored to you and always on schedule. The car and driver is always there when you’re ready to go to the next point unlike the group tour buses which can be slow & delayed if you’re having to wait for someone. We felt like VIP’s! I will always recommended them to anyone travelling to Egypt. You will not be disappointed using Manolo Tours. A big thank you to Mahmoud, Hany and Mohamed (P.S. Ask for Hany and Mohamed on the day, you won’t regret it!)
Highly recommended!! Everything went smooth from beginning to end. No delays, everything on time, professional drivers and a 5 stars guide that waited for us in Cairo. Be sure to ask for Hany as your guide in Cairo, he is one of the best guides we came across, with more than 20 years of experience, a professional tour guide who will cheer you up after the long hours from Hurghada to Cairo.
Monolo tour contacted us before we even left Uk. Professional service and always ready to answer our questions. We were picked up from hotel at 2 am by Mohamed our driver ( we were very impressed with our drive's driving skills especially in Cairo where driving is not easy). The car was moder and very comfortable. We were able to get some sleep during 5 hour journey to Cairo. They provided us with soft drinks. We got to Cairo in the morning and picked up a guide - Hany who was waiting for us. Hany was great! He has a lot of knowledge about city and ancient egyptian history. He talked about it with a sense of humor. Hany speak several languages including Polish. The first thing we visited was Egyptian Museum. Worth visiting, especially with a guide! Later we had the option as a extra a cruise on the Nile or visiting the old town. Then we had lunch with buffet style in restaurant overlooking the pyramid. After that we finally went to explore the pyramids and the Sphinx. Hany help as to take many nice pictures. Magnificent experience! The last point of the trip was perfume shop and papyrus museum. We arrived at hotel tired as was very long day but very happy and we mange make it on time for dinner. It was an amazing day! To all those who have a dilemma between private trip by car and bus trip. Private tour by car is worth this money!!! ( we had experience to go by bus to Luxor) Thank you very much to Mohamed our driver, Hany our guide and whole Manolo tours team to making our dream come true! Monika and Wojtek
We had an excellent time in Caïro, where we were taken care of really well. Our experienced drivers kept us safe and provided a great service where all our wishes were met. Also, our tour guide was wonderful, very effective and informative with a great humour, so we had loads of fun! We appreciate the amazing job they did and we definitely recommend it to others!
We started our trip to Cairo at 2 am by collecting from the hotel. The road was a bit long due to the security measures on the road by the Egyptian police to secure the tourists. We took a 15 minute break halfway. We arrived in Cairo at 8 am. The guide was waiting for us. The guide was good looking and very tactful. We started our trip with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, after which we did a boat tour of the Nile and that was a wonderful thing. After that the guide went to the pyramids and the Sphinx and asked us if we wanted to ride a camel, so we toured the pyramids on the camel's back, and took some pictures, we asked the guide politely if we wanted to shop in Cairo and of course we agreed on that and we visited the papyrus shops, perfume shops, silver and gold shops and of course we bought the best A gift there and on our way back the driver took care of us very professionally and we arrived at the hotel at about 9:17 minutes. I highly recommend it.
Excellent trip to Cairo We was by private car with professional driver he knows the road very will when use speed and when reduce, We arrived meet the professional tour guide ( Mohamed ) Thanks for all and we will be back in July
We had an horrendous experience with this company. 14 hours in the back of the car. The trip was cancelled the first time 4 hours before we were meant to leave due to torrential rain. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. The second time the car turned up 30 mins late at 2 30am. Cramped conditions in the back of the car. Music blaring, meant you couldn't sleep. Driver speeding, on the phone constantly or glancing at the screen whilst overtaking as many cars as he could on the corners. He didn't want to wear his self belt so the alarm would constantly go off. Finally got to Cairo after 8 hours at 10 am, we were met by the guide Mansul. He demanded your full attention. You couldn't breathe in the wrong direction without him clicking his fingers at you!!!! He was very controlling. He demanded you take exactly what pictures he wanted you to take. The owner of the company said he was the best guide they had, which is worrying. He gets angry when you aren't interested in the gold necklace he wants to sell you constantly or the paper or the perfume. He couldn't listen if he tried. He says you need medication if you don't want to buy all the crap he is selling. We still had the same driver from the night before. Our driver done a 20 hour !!!! shift and had to bring his friend with him on the way back to keep him awake. Accident waiting to happen!!! More worrying is we saw the same driver at the valley of the king's the next day!!! Another 14hour day with a 5am pick up. The driver was lucky if he had 2 hrs sleep. If you want to risk your life, book this tour!
I came out to Hurghada with my family (four children) for a holiday in January 2022 from UK. I thought no trip to Egypt would be complete without going to the Pyramids. I contacted Mahmud at Manolo tours and he was very helpful and sorted everything out for me. The bus was very clean and we got a good sleep on the way up to Cairo. The two drivers were very professional and safe and stopped along the way for breaks. When we arrived in Cairo we were met by Hany Mahmoud one of the best tour guides in Cairo. He appeared to know everyone and we seemed to get to access to places quicker than other tourists. Hany has so much knowledge of Egyptian History and I really enjoyed listening to him at the Egyptian museum. At the pyramids again we were treated really well and got amazing pictures that had been set up by Mahmud. Overall an amazing experience I would highly recommend and choose Mahmud and Manolo tours for this trip. Was my highlight of my trip to Egypt. I could not praise it enough. Ideal for family getting the private tour.
Private day trip to Cairo We contacted Manolo tours by email to enquire about the trip a few days before. Mamoud gave us an idea of how the day would go, and the cost. We were very happy with his service. We were picked up at our hotel on time at 02.30 in a modern and spacious car by our driver Mustafa. He told us if we needed to stop for toilet etc we only had to ask. He ensured we had plenty of quiet time to sleep on the 5 hour journey to Cairo. Mustafa drove at a safe speed the entire journey! In Cairo we met our guide Hany who has a vast knowledge of his city. We were asked if there was any particular order we wanted to see the attractions, but decided to follow his lead. We joined him for some falafel from a local street vendor then we were on our way to the Museum, where he purchased our tickets, then gave us a fascinating tour of the museum. After a quick coffee we decided we would like to have a boat trip down the River Nile, our guide arranged everything for us. From there it was a short journey by car to a restaurant near the pyramids for lunch, the food was tasty and served buffet style. After lunch it was time to head for the Pyramids, Hany explained that the entrance fee was included in the tour but if we liked we could choose a camel ride for an extra fee, there was no pressure to buy! The camel ride is an excellent way to see the pyramids. You’re taken away from the main tourist area and have plenty of time to take photos without lots of other people in the picture. After we jumped off the camel Mustafa was waiting with the car to take us back to Hurghada, On the journey back Mahmoud called us to ask how our day had been and if we were happy with everything. Was a nice touch. The day was well organised and your private car and driver is always there when your ready to go to the next place unlike the group tours where you’re always waiting for someone. VIP treatment from start to finish. You will not be disappointed using Manolo Tours. Thanks for a wonderful day. Matthew, Alla, and Dmitriy.
The trip was excellent. The Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids were mind blowing and the whole day was run very smoothly by Mohammed our driver for the day and Said our guide. They really added a lot to the day and we had an amazing time.
It was just an amazing experience! Totally worth the price. We were considering to go to Cairo with a plane, but time saving wasn’t much, also with a car we saw amazing Egyptian nature. We were picked up from our hotel at 2.30am by our driver (Shenouda) . They even provided water and small snacks (very thoughtful). The car was very comfortable, so we slept till 6-7am (until sunrise) with 3 stops for toilet. The driver was great, very carefully navigating chaotic Cairo. In Cairo we were joined by tour guide (Hany). He was magnificent with plenty of experience, very funny and whenever we went we felt like everybody knows him and we had a special treatment everywhere (extra food in restaurants and just general vibe around him). We also wanted to try some local street food and he took us to the best falafel place (it was delicious, still remember it) The Pyramids were magnificent, obviously:) It was magnificent trip, great service. Thank you so much :)
Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable, he took us to the most important parts of the Egyptian museum and it was amazing to see the pyramids and sphinx!
From start to finish was a great trip. Our driver Mahmood was absolutely amazing, looking after us from start to finish. Even though it was a long journey he made sure we were comfortable. Our guide in Cairo, Khaled was also amazing and so knowledgeable about everything. Highly recommend this trip
Manoo excellent service along with tour guide. 100% recommend and won’t be disappointed. Bravo Sir from Mr Jon and Pete
We booked a private Tour to Kairo with Manolo and everything just went perfect! We can highly recommend this tour and you will hardly find a better service! Manolo picked us up on time, the car is clean, comfortable and in a very good condition! On our way to Kairo and back, Manolo made sure to make a stop on half way to have a short rest, which made us feel very safe and comfortable at all time. Manolo is a very friendly guy and we never felt a better service here in Egypt. He was very flexible during the tour and made sure our needs were full filled at all time! He even managed to get my money back when I lost my wallet at a gas station while getting out of the car and somebody of the guys working there took it! A very honest, respectful and friendly person who makes sure his customers have everything they need! Also the fun does not come too short, believe me 👌🏻 Thank you for the perfect day and your extraordinary service! Regards Andy and Denise :-)
The choice of this tour could not be any better: comfortable transportation and very skilled driver, amazing and knowledgeable guide and Manolo went further and beyond to make sure everyone was ok and happy.
