Genuinely an unforgettable experience from the start! Thorough communication via WhatsApp leading up to the excursion. Transfer was good there and back and prompt on time. The crew are very welcoming and clearly experienced at what they do. We were quite nervous doing a trip outside of our resort, but they made it a comfortable experience and are all a good laugh! I had never dived or snorkelled before, but the team were extremely supportive with me. Lunch was great and refreshments, snacks and massage available during. Orange Bay was a lovely stop also. Cameraman was taking pictures all day and the price is extremely fair for the amount of photos you receive. My expectations were genuinely exceeded with this trip I can’t recommend enough :)

What a fantastic day out. Picked up from hotel on time and taken to the marina. All the crew were friendly and made you feel welcome onboard the royal as soon as you embarked the boat . Orange bay is pretty for photos but where these guys excel is the snorkelling and diving and customer service. Food onboard was tasty and i even went back for seconds. A great day and easily worth the price, well done Andrew and crew. They take photos all day and offer you them at the end and at a very reasonable price and we also tipped them cos they deseved it with all there hard work and enthusiasm.

We had an excellent day on this luxury cruise. Everything was very well organised from start to finish, with clear communication and smooth transfers. The staff on board were professional, friendly and clearly very experienced. We always felt safe and well looked after throughout the trip. The snorkelling was a real highlight, with plenty of time in the water and some fantastic marine life to see. The boat itself was clean and comfortable, lunch was enjoyable, and the whole day ran exactly as planned. The crew worked hard to make sure everyone had a great experience and their attention to detail really showed. If you’re visiting Hurghada and looking for a boat trip, I would absolutely recommend this company. It was one of the highlights of our holiday and we would happily book with them again.

What an amazing day, extremely well organised and all the staff on board were amazing .. a big shout to Andrew explained everything in detail. Whether you choose to snorkel or dive you will not be disappointed. The lunch was fresh and plentiful as was the hot and cold drinks. Great day out. Staff were very friendly. English was spoken very well. No communication breakdown. Was taken to and from places very safely.

A bit too rushed overall. We only had one hour and ten minutes at Orange Bay. During the snorkeling it would have been sensible to mention beforehand that we’d be swimming about a hundred meters away from the boat. The guide swam too fast and many people struggled to keep up. There wasn’t enough time to properly observe the marine life. I prefer excursions where you can snorkel at your own pace. We also had to gulp down lunch because everything was so hurried. Still, the welcome and the staff were pleasant.

Staff were very good, snorkelling was excellent, didn’t see the point of going to orange bay as we had a better beach at our hotel and it looked like something out of mad max !

Booked this excursion via Get your Guide weeks in advance, to do this trip 2 days before the end of our holiday. I had to chase them the night before our trip to ask when our pick up was, to be told at 9pm the night before that we would now not be able to go on the day we had booked because they had over sold for the day and the only day they could offer was the day we were travelling home.

We’ve just got back from this tour today!!! It was so amazing. The yacht is lovely and clean, every single crew member are attentive and have your best interests at heart. Would highly recommend! The massage was divine, Orange Bay was so quiet as we were the first to go there (this tour company seem to have the monopoly on this as as we were leaving all the boats began to arrive so for that reason on its own it’s worth booking with Royal cruise Hurghada! The food was gorgeous and the snorkelling was brilliant (although I was scared I was really well cared for so I did relax and enjoy it … I held onto a ring and the crew member stayed with me the whole time!) for what you pay £154 for four of us it’s such good value! They also sang happy birthday and wore silly glasses I had brought with me as a surprise! Honestly could not fault anything !!! 5****

The overall experience was well worth the money. First stop was orange bay, we had an hour and 10 minutes. We went early and were the first group there which was really nice. We got to take photos on the swings and populars areas without waiting around. As we left, loads of groups arrived and there were queues and it was really busy. Then we went to our Snorkling stop, was beautiful reef with loads of fish. Food was then served and it was delicious! Me and my partner managed to get a sunbed seat and get our tan on. Would recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic day with Andrew and his crew! Everything was very well planned, we had lots of time at orange bay, had a lovely lunch and enjoyed the water activities.

I recently went on the cruise the crew on board were exceptional! They were friendly, attentive, and full of interesting facts about the local wildlife and history of the place and about the sea, one of the highlights of the trip was when a group of sea turtles popped up to the surface, and we were able to see them up close. It was such a magical moment! The boat was spacious and comfortable, I highly recommend this boat trip to anyone visiting Hurghada. It’s the perfect way to experience the beauty of the city from a different perspective. I’m already looking forward to doing this again next year!

An unforgettable experience! Everything was perfectly planned and well organized. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the day was packed with fun activities. I loved it so much .This was my second time, and it was just as wonderful as the first.

Don't trust all the 5 stars you see! They go around person by person and make you write the review in front of them in the end of the tour. They offer free massage, but IF YOU'RE A WOMAN I really recommend to STAY AWAY from this. It was an absolutely disgusting experience. The massage is done by this guy who seemed to not really know what he was doing. This person no doubt takes advantage of the opportunity to be touching your body. The massage is in front of everyone and still the so called "masseuse" didn't care to slide his hands lower than he should. I felt very uncomfortable and hated every second of it. If you're a man the massage is given in a completely different way. The tour is good, but it can be a lot for one day. Especially because the crew pushes you to do all the activities even if you say you don't want to. They're also very insistent on you taking pictures even if you refuse because you want to enjoy the time on the boat. In the end they will sell you those for a very high price. Lunch provided was good.

We paid in full up front, were given no pick up time from our designated hotel other than the start time of 7.30am, we received no correspondence from the tour operator, text, email, message via WhatsApp, viator or trip advisor. On the day of the trip, we received a call from the hotel reception at 6.45am just at we were getting out of bed to day the driver had arrived and was waiting, we rushed around getting dressed, got to the reception at precisely 7.07am and the driver had left, the hotel reception called the driver but he did not come back. We are £88 out of pocket through no fault of our own, zero correspondence from the tour operators, they refuse to give me a refund, even though they failed to give a pick up. AVOID THESE LOW LIFES

Great boat, great crew. Just remember to bring a jacket as it can be chilly first thing. Pick up was at 6:50am and the driver was outside on time. Photos are charged at 35usd which is pretty steep imo.

Went on the premium cruise today on the Royal 1 had an amazing day on the water and in it. Saw dolphins, scuba dived, snorkelled, parasailed and went on the inflatable sofa. Much appreciation for the patience of the scuba diver instructor and also to Mohammed who looked after me during the snorkelling and afterwards. An amazing day. Sue

A totally excellent trip and very good value for what you get. It was a very big boat with plenty of very pleasant staff. The trip includes a very good buffet, tea, coffee and soft drinks. A trip to a nice island. Snorkelling, a trial scuba dive on a one to one instructor. A back massage and a banana boat ride. I would say a must do in Hurghada.

Throughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend anyone using this operator for this excursion. Andrew was an amazing tour guide and Amir was a brilliant photographer. Well worth the money for the amount you do on the day.

This is to respond to your very aggressive response to our one star review which you clearly had no idea what you’re talking about. 1. Okay if you only need 15 mins then why were we at the dock for nearly 2 hours which meant the part of the trip that everyone actually liked was cut short by an hour? If you want the photos I took during the 2 hours at the dock with timings I’m more than happy to repost this again 2. The diving equipment was extremely worn and did not look safe, we watched the divers and watched as one of your guests repeatedly told the instructor who was trying to drag him down that he was inhaling water 3. You do push people to write a 5 star review, we had to do it or were met with aggression when trying to give any other number. Hence why I’m leaving the review here and not on get your guide as we now cannot give an honest review on there because of your awful and aggressive crew. Look at other views on trip advisor, Andrew did it to everyone. One reviewer stated that he even grabbed her phone and wrote the 5 star review. If he did that to me he wouldn’t know what would have hit him as I don’t take kindly to such upfront aggression 4. Your bathrooms don’t get cleaned. I tried to use it and your crew wouldn’t let me go in until they grabbed a dry mop, with no water or disinfectant and mopped dirty toilet water all across the floor which we then had to go into, it wasn’t dry and certainly wasn’t clean. Why would I take a photo of a wet floor? What does that actually prove to anyone? You’d call me a liar either way 5. You clearly don’t know who we are as we did in fact come down to lunch, looked and turned away because it looked like dirty dishwater and smelt like it too, it looked absolutely vile and instead of leaving us to it, your crew pushed and pushed for us to come down for a good 15 minutes when we told them no multiple times that we would not be eating lunch. 6. Okay if you have so many drinks why did you run out of everything? Including cups and every fizzy drink you had on board? You only had water left which we were fine with but were reusing peoples cups rather than washing them which is disgusting 7. That isn’t our hotel so you clearly have no clue about the customers you’re having on board. We were staying in hurghada, close to the port in fact so there’s really no excuse. The fact of the matter is this is one of the worst companies I’ve ever booked with, their response to my initial review says everything about them. You can say what you want about your trip, make your customers seem like liars all you want but ultimately your company won’t last as it is, your trip is absolutely disgusting and so are the members who you employ who try to force everything on their customers. Any customers book anywhrere else but this place. You will 1000% regret it. Ultimately, you can’t put lipstick on a pig, it’s still a pig

Very professional staff , boat is clean and new , the staff is kids friendly, food is better than the hotel , transfer on time and new bus , diving was fantastic , water sport is fun and adrenaline, the massage was the highlight, orange bay us as well very nice . Just do it and you will not regret it

This was such a fun day! The crew was amazing, the boat was very nice and the activities were just awesome. We beat the masses at Orange Bay, which was great. I went diving for the first time. They instructed us well and made me feel at ease, because I was a bit nervous. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

This trip wont be everyone's cup of tea because it offers several activities that are just short tastes of great activities. However, we found it great fun and exceptional value for money with something for everyone. We went as a group of 4 adult women. The first stop was orange bay and this was absolutely stunning. We were the first boat there and really appreciated the amazing crystal clear warm waters and splendour of the island. But thankfully, we stayed only about an hour... which was enough to take in the place. It got very over crowded and you cannot take your own food or drink. You are a captive market and drinks START at £6-£9. Water melon was £12. I wouldnt want a full day of these charges or crammed circumstances. A taste was just enough and leaving after an hours with some great photos was perfect for us. Two hours would be nice, but thats my limit. Then onto another spot for snorkeling or diving. Again, neither option suited really for the experienced as it was rather short 'janet and john' event, but it suited us who haven't done a lot before. There are full day diving and snorkelling trips for those who are keen, but this taster was just right. An hour at the location and then we were on board again for a buffet lunch. I don't think our snorkelling spot was the best available but we saw lots of coral and fish and a shipwreck and it was a good experience. Then we were on board again for a buffet lunch. Yes it was a limited menu, but all beautifully displayed, freshly prepared by an on-board chef and there was something for everyone. How can anyone complain about that. It was totally delicious and eating in the yacht dining room was a lovely expereince in itself. Then we went onto another snorkelling only spot. Now the water was too choppy really for this activity and some (like me) couldnt brave it and others cut it short due to the winds, but we couldn't hold the staff/boat responsible for the weather conditions. On a calm day this would be excellent. During the day there was a professional male masseuse offering back massages of about 15 mins or so. He was excellent too. He was very responsive to the passenger comments about sore shoulders, bad backs etc and washed hands between clients. It wasnt a long massge but it was good and very much added to the 'taster' experience of the day. Agreed, a public massage did put some off and not eveyone wanted to do to...but all four in our party did and agreed it was superb. Lastly we headed back to the marina and did the 'water sport' element. I agree that this was a bit disappointing as it was about a minute each on a floating raft pulled by a speed boat and/or a banana boat, but again, as a taster, to see if you like it, it hit the spot. We felt this needed to be a couple of runs. The company did try to cram a lot in and for our group we felt the short series of varied activities was just right. The staff on board were all super, the guide was very proficient in all languages, and everyone treated us with positive encouragement and respect. It was a fabulus day and we were very happy with the itinery. The only thing we had a REAL ISSUE with was paying an addition £20 for return transfers between our hotel and the marina. We were picked up at 6:20 am and then driven all over the area in a tired cramped hot minibus for 90 minutes collecting other passengers from their hotels. We got to the boat about 8:00am and it left about half an hour later. A return private taxi to Hurgarda cost 25% less than this and would have been more comfortable and take only 30 minutes saving us 2hours of horrible travel time in the day. This unpleasant arrangement put us in a terribly aggitated mood before reaching the boat... and when we arrived we were all noticeably disgruntled. I did say to myself this day will hae to truly deliver to get me out of this mood... thankfully it really did!!! My advice though, don't pay for their added transfer option, get your hotel (or the Uber APP) to sort a private transfer to the marina and arrange where to meet in the booking confirmation. The marina is small, the yachts are huge and very easy to find. I accept this was not the 'perfect day' day for eeryone... but I think it is excellent value for money as a taster day of experiences. Its a bit of everything and a bit was just right for a mixed group of adults such as ours with differing wants. It was worth every penny and we were happy to leave what we felt was a generous tip for the crew which was collected at the end and divided equally by all the on-board team. As a side note, we did not see any dolphins anywhere. Shame.

I was skeptical of how good of a trip it could be for the affordable price and the number of activities packed into one day but it was the best day trip we did during our two weeks in Egypt. I don’t know if I remember the name of our tour leader (possibly Sebastian — he spoke good English and German) but he immediately made everyone on the boat feel welcome. He said there would be no pressure selling on the trip and that everything was inclusive (which was 99% true except for perhaps the photographer but even that was a simple “no thanks” and then not bothered again). Orange Island was a very cool place to visit and explore. They took us there first thing while the island was empty so it was quite an interesting experience. Although I would suggest people don’t see this as a day trip to the island as you’re only there for around an hour or so before moving on. The first snorkeling trip was great, however the equipment needs updating. I was told this was due to lending out some snorkels to another boat who hadn’t given them back yet, so they were short. Hopefully this is resolved now. I expected lunch to be a throwaway add-on with some basic ambient options but it was a fully cooked lunch with salads, meats, side dishes, and was actually one of the best meals we had in Egypt! A lot of people wanted to relax for the afternoon, including my partner, who sunbathed on the front deck of the boat. I went back for the second snorkeling session and a general swim. The afternoon in general was very relaxing and great. Finally on the way back to shore we stopped for some quick watersports on a banana boat and a ‘sofa boat’ type thing. Really fun but there was only time for a couple of runs each. Although we were tired out from a great day anyway, so this was more of a bonus than anything. The guy doing non-stop massages for the group was a MACHINE! He started at 7am and gave massages non-stop until we finished at about 5pm. We tipped extra at the end just for the great job he did. Highly, highly recommended trip. The price is more than worth it and was easily the best value activity we did in Egypt.

I booked a Full-Day Boat Trip in Hurghada with Snorkeling and Lunch. It was supposed to be on the 10th of May. We have a guideline to be at the meeting place at 07:30 am. We were there some minutes before. There was no one welcoming us there and no one knew about our boat trip. We called the 24/7 hotline given, but no one answered. We asked several different people at the meeting venue, and eventually one person knew about this and told us that we need to wait until 09:30, because this is when the trip actually starts. Just before 10 someone told us that there is no boat trip on the 10th. The person claimed that he works close to the boats and knows that there are no boats for that day. At 10:15 I recieved a Whatsapp message from an agent that said: "Dear Guest, My name is Jaser and I am the owner of Royal Cruise Hurghada. You have booked a boat trip with us for tomorrow. Please send a copy of all passports so I can issue the boat permission for each one of you , please be so kind and send them as soon as possible so I can finalize the boat permission and issue the permission. Please send us your room number so that our driver can use it to pick you up. Please wait in front of the reception from outside and our driver will pick you up at the agreed time with the room number. Your pick-up time is at 07:10 You can order breakfast boxes free of charge at your reception today and receive them to take away at reception tomorrow morning if the restaurant is closed in the morning. Please don't forget to bring towels. Also, bring some cash with you as only cash is accepted on the island and on the boat We look forward to receiving a short confirmation and thank you in advance for choosing to book an excursion with us." I told the person that the boat trip was supposed to be today (the 10th, and not tomorrow the 11th). After telling what happened, Jaser responded me that this mistake was at their end, something wrong with the bookings. I told him that we have only 6 days at Hurghada and had dedicated this full day for this trip. Jaser was very rude, did not have any patience and gave me some minutes to respond to the options - I either get a refund or I join the next day. I told him that this does not go this way that, because of a silly mistake I lose one full day and I am only given the option to retrieve the sum I had paid. At the end he was very rude and did not want to cooperate at all. We asked for a refund and compensation for our lost day. He did not reply anything and just sent me a screenshot that the refund was done. This is not the way you treat people and I will be giving bad reviews about this experience in all media.

We were picked up at 6.30 in the morning and taken to the boat. Andrew introduced himself and his team and we set sail at around 8.30. We had pictures and videos taken throughout the day, and were offered drinks throughout the day. The staff were friendly enough and were playful with the children. Now onto my qualms. It is billed as a 6 in 1 trip which includes Orange Bay, snorkelling, optional scuba diving, lunch, massage and water sports. We were fearful it was too much for one day and we were proven right about this. 1) Orange bay, we were given one hour here which was far too short and we didn’t even get to start to enjoy it before having to leave. 2) Snorkelling - my son was not allowed to snorkel as the conditions were not great but I appreciate that is not the fault of the tour provider. However they left it until we were at the snorkelling site to sort out equipment which reduced the time spent snorkelling and they were quite restrictive about how and where to snorkel even though we are confident swimmers. It was not a great snorkelling site and there was not much to see. 3) We did not take up the additional scuba diving but other travellers said this was quite good. We did a second snorkel but again it was a very short session. 4) Lunch, I am not sure why this is counted as a separate activity but the food was nice and there was plenty to go around. This was served in a small dining room downstairs and was one of the better parts of the tour. 5) The massage was done in the middle of the boat with all other passengers sat around so it might not be everyone’s cup of tea. 6) The water sports was 5 minutes on a banana boat or sofa and felt like forced fun at that point. There was also some awkward dancing at the end. In hindsight I wish I had just taken a speed boat and spent the day at the beach. We did a snorkelling tour the next day with a different provider and it was much better, lots to see and plenty of time given at each site. With Royal it was too hectic trying to cram everything in and it just diluted the whole experience. The reason I have lowered the score was because at the end of the tour Andrew came over with a paper form to ask for a review. When we said we would give the trip four stars (which was actually very generous) he got defensive and argued that it was actually a five star. He then said he needed to check something about my booking. He asked for me to go into my Getyourguide app and he was being very vague. I assumed this had something to do with getting us back to our hotel so agreed. He then proceeded to take my phone and submit a five star review from me on GetyourGuide. I found this incredibly pushy, invasive and a violation of my right as a paying customer. I saw him do this to other guests aswell and there are multiple 5 star reviews with no comments. This makes me question the validity of the reviews as he is obviously just submitting these himself. In addition to this, the photos are hard sold to you, we got about 10 pictures overall for £35. In summary there were some good elements to the trip, although it felt rushed and hectic overall.

The whole day was professionally organized. Punctual pickup from our hotel in an airconditioned minibus, which took us to the boat, where we had a great greetings with hibiscus tea/juice. Free massage for all the guests and the day was full of activities. Stop in orange bay, with nice photo place + beautiful beach. Snorkeling and/or scuba diving at 2 coral reefs. Delicious lunch + refreshments. Finally banana boat ride or inflatable canape ride. We were taken care the whole day and we were only 28 guests, instead of normal 48 (which might be a big busy...). Overall a great experience and highly recommended! Well done Andrew and team! :)

This trip was absolutely amazing! From start to finish the staff looked after us so much we had our 4 year old son doing all the activities and the guys helped him every step of the way to make sure he had a trip of a life time. the mrs went diving and said it was the best experience ever! The crew was very nice, interactive and such a hype team to everyone on every activity without being pushy. Also great guidance for people who have anxiety/panic but still want to participate. Thank you! They offer photos and videos for such a good price and quality. The communication is very good about the itinerary and extra options like free/scubadiving for beginners.

Wonderful and so thoughtful from the start to the end of the trip! I can really understand, why there are so many excellent reviews! One can feel when things are done just to show up, not for real care. Here, in this trip, everything is done with heart. Thank you so much for this incredible and unforgetable tour! Lots of love!

We went on an all day boat tour with Royal. It was a great day! The weather was a bit cool but the tour was awesome. We had snorkeling, scuba diving, massage on the Red Sea! The guys who ran the tour were great. We saw wild dolphins. The sea life at the reef was amazing. They took the time to make sure everyone was happy. They even accommodated a special request for sparkling water because I do not drink cola. It was a great experience and a nice way to spend the day. Highly recommend!!

I truely recommend this tour in Hurghada as the "must be done" tour in all Egypt. The pickup was on time, the ship is really beautiful, big and comfortable. Everything they describe in the page is exactly as it is... just perfect! Food excelent! Activities on board, amazing! Diving was my first time and it was very professional and safe. friendly staff with fun activities! Very sweet cats in orange bay. Diving and snorkeling is perfect for beginners. for snorkeling You swim in groups with a guide and for diving you are in Pairs of 2 with an instructor. We even saw dolphins while on the boat!

I’m out of words to describe my fabulous experience in this tour,you can’t imagine how clean is the boat and what I liked most is the hygiene in everything,starting from the boat,the snorkelling tools and definitely the food,if you want to see the Red Sea in a different way,I definitely RECOMMEND this boat,don’t hesitate to book your tour.

This is by far the best excursion we have done whilst in Hughada. Everything is just perfect. The crew is what makes this day so special they are all so friendly, and they're genuinely doing it for you to have the best day and not for tips. Your collected from your hotel at a time arranged via WhatsApp the day before and taken to the marina for about 7.30 am. You all board the boat. I think there were about 25 of us, so theirs plenty of room onboard, and you're not crowded on. Jaser is in charge of the boat, and he is such a great person for the day explaining everything that we will be doing before we set off and introducing everybody on board. You set off for Orange Island, which is just magical, and spend approximately 1 hour 20 mins on the island before boarding the boat again to make your way out to the coral reefs. I've always wanted to go diving in the Red Sea, but unfortunately, due to ear problems, I'm unable to dive, so I went snorkelling for the 1st time and I wouldn't of wanted to do it with anyone else as you always felt in safe hands. We managed to see some dolphins and the marine life is mesmerising. The food on board is really good. The day is finished off with banana and sofa rides, which I didn't take part in as I was starting to feel a little sea sick by then.
