Luxor Day Trip From Hurghada: Ancient Wonders & Sites With Lunch!

From my very first WhatsApp message to Mohammad he was fantastic and gave us an unbelievable service price and package! We got a amazing 3 days of action ps led tours that catered for all our groups from Boat rides on the Nile to hot air balloon rides over the Nile and looking down on the valley of the kings! Mohammad checked in on us every step of the way! We had a brilliantly talented driver that Chauffered us around Luxor with ease and a knowledgeable tour guide called Nabil! Walking around the city with his know how know who and where to go from valley of the kings to mummification museum we seen the lot! This is an absolute must do experience through Hurghada Transfer!

Karnak was amazing and the tour should have assigned much more time to this site. The Valley of the Kings and visiting the tombs was also brilliant. But the tour was let down by a guide that wasn't engaged and wanted simply to deliver what seemed to be his typical information- much less willing to address ad-hoc questions. The tour was also let down by a very dodgy lunch (chicken was pink int he middle) and I'm sure everyone would have preferred to spend a little more and get some decent food. The visit to the stone shop was a complete waste of time with very poor quality products on sale. The visit to Hatshepsut's tomb was amazing from the outside but tomb did did compare to either the Valley of the Kings or Karnak itself. As for the transport- the minibus was too small, hot and dirty- I picked up scabies from the seat meaning that it clearly hadn't been cleaned. In summary- Karnak and the Valley of the Kings were amazing, but the rest was horrible.

After having a bad experience in December with Get my Guide to Giza Pyramids and museums I was a bit apprehensive about booking another excursion. I took the plunge and booked with Hurgadha Transfers a trip to Luxor for the day. Being in a wheelchair ♿️ I needed a private trip. Myself, son and 2 friends went and we had a wonderful day. The guide was very intelligent and knew all the history and one of few that could read the inscriptions on the monuments. Ahmed wahed. Everything went very well and we had nice drivers and guides. The trip from Hurghada is quite long so I recommend two days in Cairo. Our guide in Cairo, Mona, was absolutely wonderful she gave us all the time we needed and we could choose what we wanted to see.

For each of our transfers, the pick-ups were on time and the driver was super friendly and helpful. For the Luxor trip, we were picked up from the hotel at 0500. The minivan was very new, spacious and very comfortable, so the family had no problem catching up on some more sleep as we headed to Luxor on the 4h drive. We met our private guide just as we approached Luxor. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and able to communicate according to the interests and ages of the group. The Valley of the Kings and the temples of Luxor were beyond my wildest expectations. Amazing. The whole family agreed and well worth the long hours. We took a 30 min boat trip across the Nile - so majestic and much more as we'd imagined compared to Cairo. The restaurant that we ate in at lunch time (included in the price) was excellent; possibly the best we had that holiday. The trip home took 3.5h given the reduced traffic. All in all, simply outstanding and worth every euro!

We booked a Luxor day trip with Hurghada Transfer, having already used them to collect us from Hurghada airport (their service was impeccable!). Everything went as planned and even better as having Nabil as our private tour guide really made everything so much more interesting and personalised. We loved all the archaeological sites, the visit to the alabaster village, the restaurant with the amazing view of the Nile and the little boat trip. Very professional company! We arranged a Luxor day trip with Hurghada Transfer, having previously used them to collect us from Hurghada airport on 2 previous occassions, where we'd been very impressed with the quality of the cars and driving standards. We definitely weren't disappointed by our trip to Luxor. It was an early start, and around a 3 and a half hour drive from our hotel. But we got there at a reasonable time, were we met our guide for the day, Nabil. Nabil took us around all of the major sites, his knowledge and passion for Luxor were outstanding and he made our trip so much more enjoyable than if we had travelled alone, and we learnt so much more about not just Luxor, but Egypt as a whole. The entire trip was planned excellently, with as many experiences squeezed in as possible, but not for one moment did we feel rushed or on a schedule. It's wise to wear comfortable shoes as there is decent amount of walking involved. We also travelled in February and it was still quite hot, so if going in peak months it would be strongly advisable to wear clothing which covers almost all your skin, due to the scorching temperatures over summer. I couldn't recommend this trip more, it's was absolutely fascinating.

We used Hurgada transfers services this April for a LUXOR trip and also for an airport transfer from SENTIDO PALM ROYALE. Both experiences were great. For LUXOR: excellent price, good and clean minibus, nice and good driver, NABIL-the guide is a very nice and educated person and has a very good English. The location and food at lunch was excellent. The presentation of the alabaster manufacturing is very nice but the prices are huge, do not buy from there. Airport transfer: good minibus, nice, in time and good driver. I really recommend them for good and affordable trips and transfers.

Our experience with Hurghada transfer was really excellent, we enjoyed our Luxor trip, everything was as planned, the driver was excellent taking us from El gouna to Luxor, the hotel, meals and even a guide in french was organized, and we did everything we want in a short time. Had a super experience with air balloon and to see various sights in Luxor. Our guide Ahmed gave us a lot of confidence along the way and had planned everything as we wanted it. And everything could be adapted along the way.
