Hurghada: Luxury Cruise To Orange Bay & Hula Hula Island.

Our group of 30+ has just returned from a trip to Egypt where we had a fantastic outing with Blue Waves Egypt. I contacted the company directly via email to arrange a private boat trip to take us to various beaches and snorkeling spots in the Red Sea off of Hurghada. Mahmoud Ibrahim responded to my initial request, as well as multiple follow-up emails, and helped tailor the itinerary to fit our specific needs. We wanted a mix of beach visits and snorkeling sessions. For the latter, I specifically asked that the operator caters to everyone in the group, including several non-swimmers. Mahmoud assured me that the team will take our needs into account. On the day of the tour, the Sea Spa was assigned as our boat. It was squeaky clean and easily accommodated our entire group with room to spare. Our guides, also acting as snorkeling instructors, were Tito, Kimo, and (another) Mahmoud. We were given plenty of beach time to relax and take those Instagram photos. The buffet lunch with drinks was served on board with a variety of dishes, and there was not a single complaint from anyone. Since it was rather windy on that particular day, the captain took us farther out to sea than usual so we could get to a calmer snorkeling spot. We were then divided into 2 groups: non-swimmers and swimmers. The non-swimmers could either stay next to the boat by holding on to an attached line and directly in view of the on-board crew members, or be taken a bit farther away using a flotation device by an instructor. The larger group of swimmers was supervised by the other two instructors and guided toward the nearby coral reefs for a much better underwater view. For those staying next to the boat, a crew member would periodically throw food into the water to entice the fish to come closer. We truly appreciate the fact that the entire crew worked hard to ensure that everyone could enjoy the snorkeling aspect, no matter their skill level. In short, thanks to the wonderful folks at Blue Waves Egypt, everyone in our diverse group, from non-swimmers to novice and experienced snorkelers alike, got to enjoy a memorable day on the boat, at the beach, and in the sea.

I had an amazing experience. Came with my mom who doesn’t speak English and they all made us very comfortable. She was so so happy with everything so am i. They were professional and very helpful and kind. From the moment of the booking till the end of the trip. The trip was great the island are beautiful make sure to bring cash though if you wish to buy something on the island. The snorkelling was truly unforgettable. Kemo was really nice and explained everything. Honestly he was great but not just him the whole team was amazing. We had so much fun. I really recommend it!!! It’s a must try!

The boat experience was very good, everything was amazing. Stuff also good. However, what I didn’t like was our return trip to the hotel. This was not related to the boat, but to the Uber ride. It did not feel safe because of the way he was driving, especially because I had my 3-year-old child with me.

Very nice trip !!! Wonderfull islands visits combined with amazing snorkling. Even managed to spot dolphins on the way back, captain drifted around for a while to have a good look at these wonderfull animals playing around. Delicious food and great guides. Very nice tour, everything was perfect. Very attentive and friendly guide, very nice crew, good food and “paradisiacal” islands. There was also a lot to see while snorkeling. We were picked up from our hotel and brought back on time. We are happy to recommend the tour and the operator. ---- Sehr schöne Tour, da stimmte alles. Sehr aufmerksamer und netter Guide, sehr nette Crew, gutes Essen und "paradisische" Inseln. Beim Schnorcheln gab es ebenfalls viel zu sehen. The entire trip was really good. Everyone was very welcoming and helped with instructions all around the boat and activities that we did. I wouldn’t know how to write all the names, Tito of course was easy to remember as well as Mahmoud but the overall the team was so skilled! I have nothing bad to say about this. Amazing!

Everything was absolutely wonderful — great service and just the right amount of time on each island we visited. The snorkeling tour was really enjoyable, well organized, and the food was delicious. We would definitely do this again next time we come here. Tito was very friendly and even helped us to and from the taxi, which they also arranged.

This was a most amazing trip - Saad was fantastic - we loved his attention and care and his knowledge. Our little four year old saw dolphins and multitudes of fish because of his patience and care.

What a wanderful day with Alex, Foud from Smile Company (Crazy Captain) and the whole crew from the Rafal. We start our trip at 8:00 in the morning. After a 40 minutes Drive we arrived the first place and we see a lot of Dolphins. Alex and Foud and our Crazy Catain make the difference between the mass of boats. They take so good care of us and with the speedboat its so easy to get closer to the dolphins then all the other crews. After that we had a stop at a nice Snorkeling point. There where not that much boats. After snorkeling the speedboat picked us up and crazy captain see far some dolphins. So Alex said so that's a special let's ride a second time to the dolphins. And that was so amazing. After that we had lunch time. Was so delicious. Really. Ofer all it was so nice we enjoyed the whole time there. Thanks blue wave company

We went with bluewaves to dolphin house! A great trip, with the best help I can remember.. me and my wife are not the best snorklers in the world.. but Saad gave us so much confidence and help, also hè was making the trip nice to make jokes en explain everything we wanted to know!! When i come back, i want to do the dolphin house again with Saad.... 100%

Wonderful Boat Trip on the Red Sea to the Dolphin House, with very nice and professionell Tour Guide Saad. We had a perfect day on the Sea!! Great Crew!! And delicious traditional food 👌🏼 Many Dolphins and fantastic Corralls on the beautifully Riffs!!!! Best Boat and good Music!! The photographer was also great!!!! We have such a nice movie from this trip and very good pictures!!

We booked the trip with Blue waves through Thomas cook and it was probably the best trip we did on our holiday in Egypt. The hotel pick up was prompt and we headed to the Harbor where you can borrow snorkeling gear if you didn't have your own. After checking out our equipment we headed to our boat 'Rivera' I have been on dolphin tours before and know there is a possibility of not seeing any as of course they are wild animals. Our guide Cabo informed us we have 3 locations we can go and look for dolphins, as soon as we got to the first location we saw them. Our boat was split in two groups and one group at a time went out to swim with the dolphins. You have to be fast to catch them as they swimming below you. When it came to our turn I was super lucky to be in the perfect place and followed a dolphin swimming directly under me and one that came over the top of me! I have never experienced something like this, it was breath taking. Seeing them completely free to come and go was nice to see. After this we got back on the boat and headed to our first snorkeling location. There was two snorkeling locations and life jackets are available if your'e not the strongest swimmer or if you don't feel comfortable swimming a lot. The guides in the water also have floatation rings and will help if you need it. The whole time they check to make sure your'e doing okay. I didn't feel unsafe at any point, the guides also point out certain fish. We even found Nemo! No matter what way you look you will see all colors of the reefs and so many types of fish! We saw rays, starfish, puffer fish and many others. The boat has many places to relax, be it on the back with your feet in the water or up front lounging in the sun. On the top floor there is a shaded seating area or on the main deck there was 2 toilets. Everything was clean, I couldn't fault the boat at all. My brother got sea sick after the first stop and the crew was amazing with him, he had never been on a boat before. They made him special drinks and got him motion sickness tablets. He spent the rest of the trip sleeping and everyone kept checking on him. My other younger brother is autistic and they helped when they could to make sure he was happy. Sadly he only got in the water once but was not forced to do anything he didn't want to do. The boat was safe for him to be on and walk around. He loved sitting on the top deck watching the waves. By the end of the trip he was happy to high five all the crew members! (He is completely non verbal so this is big for him) For the whole trip there is photographers who capture both in the water and when your'e on the boat. We purchased the photos at the end and picked them up the next morning at our hotel gate. They don't make you purchase or take photos if you don't want to but it was a great way to capture the day. We were all super pleased with how they came out. Jimmy and his colleague went out of his way to get the best shots. Lunch on the boat was simple but nice; pasta, rice, chicken, fish, salad and a few other things to choose from. For a meal cooked while your'e at sea I could not find any faults. There was plenty for everyone. Thank you so much Cabo and the rest of the crew/team at blue waves for making this trip so amazing! I will definitely be back for another boat trip in the future!

We did this trip and I was sceptical about being able to actually get in the water with them but you can if you are quick enough and you have a wonderful snorkelling guide like Saaed who took our group. One word of warning though if you are not a reasonable swimmer don’t attempt getting in but admire them from the boat. Our briefing beforehand was excellent although unfortunately some of the group did not listen which made things frustrating for those which did! After the dolphins we went to a small reef and Saaed knew just where to swim to the sights were fantastic after this first snorkel we were given lunch which was delicious and plentiful. Then there was another reef snorkel before we headed back. From start to finish the day was great the crew on board are friendly and very helpful and we were surprised that there were soft drinks , tea and coffee on tap all day. I would highly recommend this trip with Blue Waves.

We booked via our Thomas Cook rep at the hotel when he assured is that the dolphins were indeed completely free to interact or leave at their will with no netting or impediments to their liberty. The transfer was prompt, comfortable and air-conditioned. The boat and the snorkelling equipment pickup were both excellent and hassle-free, the boat clean and cleaned regularly with freedom to move between decks including an upper sun-deck, lower sun-deck and lounge. There was a traditional Egyptian breakfast served of falafel, foul (stewed beans and vegetables) , eggs, breads, pastries and yoghurts which we, as vegans could still eat some of. Teas, coffees, waters and soft drinks were available on request all day. The briefing about the snorkelling and scuba diving were detailed but not overwhelming, easily understood whilst ensuring the safety of passengers and done with charisma and humour by Mimo and Khaled. The photographer Felix was a real zany personality and took some remarkable photographs and video footage of me and wifey doing all aspects of the adventure. The scuba diving itself was my first and wife's second time and same with snorkelling. The scuba was unlike anything I've ever experienced before: simultaneously heart-pounding and compellingly relaxing, the silence is remarkable and akin to how I would expect another planet to be in its grace, beauty and tranquility. We saw many types of fish and anemones and sea cucumbers and went down to 5 metres. The guide Mimo was sensationally calming, confident, reassuring and supportive throughout. We saw a huge pod of dolphins (around 10 to 20) and my wife and some other passengers managed to dive amongst them using a zodiac. I desperately wanted to but embarrassingly vomited just before due to the ship rocking sie-to-side briefly. The crew made me feel better by bringing me some lime and chewing gum and even the onboard doctor offered me an antihistamine injection or tablet to combat the motion sickness. I took him up on the injection after the scuba diving and it helped greatly. The lunch was in great quantity and many types including five different hot meals including vegetarian spaghetti and five salads. Half were suitable for vegans. I did not sample as I still was feeling a bit motion sick but my wife says they were delicious. Just before snorkelling, the snorkelling instructor added a bonus zodiac ride where we went very fast and went over waves and went in circles which was very fun and unanticipated. We had a photography shoot with Felix the photographer who made us feel like models and took some exceptional photographs some of which were hilarious and others romantic so a great blend. He is a lovely, quirky, funny guy and made us laugh much and often. We paid £60 for a CD of the photographs, videos of us scuba diving underwater, some Arabic music, information about the Red Sea area and Hurghada and a print of one of the best photos. We found this quite expensive but overall worthwhile for something so unique. The snorkelling over the coral was enjoyable however my hose was not allowing me to take many breaths before leaking seawater which detracted from my experience. Everyone else's seemed to be fine. When I handed them back, the man was very apologetic. The guide towed four of us using a life-ring who were not the strongest swimmers and often dived down to point out certain interesting things we may have missed. He made sure we were all fine at every point and that those who were stronger swimmers stayed close by and followed along so as to not touch the coral or come to harm. The crew were all delightful, helpful, friendly, supportive, enthusiastic and encouraging people and we were happy to tip them at the end of the journey. We were then picked up by coach just before sunset and taken back to our hotels. Some advice would be to not wear a cap as mine blew off into the sea 😱; wear and take lots of suncream because the sun is super HOT; take some money for a deposit on the CD if you want photographs and video and to top the staff; take some motion sickness pills if you have a sensitive tummy! We will 100% do this again or another tour with them thanks to their unswerving dedication to making sure you all have a great time and their happy, enthusiastic approach to their professions.

We had an amazing day out with Dolphin House Red Sea Trips, we swam with dolphins at Dolphin House, then moved to 2 other places where we had plenty of time to snorkel. The food was delicious, and the boat was not overcrowded. Be sure to arrive early to get a shaded spot on the upper deck, as it does get hot.

We were picked up from our hotel at 5:30am and were taken to the boat. We had quite a long wait on the boat before finally departing at around 8am. We had a really nice breakfast on board, and had our briefing about the structure of the day. Our first stop was to go and see the dolphins. There were loads of dolphins which was amazing! We quickly got our snorkelling gear on and got into the speedboat to go and swim with the dolphins. This was great, as we were able to get so close to them! Keep in mind that you need to be quite a strong swimmer to do this part as it was very fast paced, and also getting back into the speed oat could be a bit awkward if you aren't very fit. Next we did the scuba diving. We had a very in depth briefing, and the instructor was very knowledgeable. We went in pairs with the instructor for around 15 minutes. I was a little nervous before the dive, but the instructor was very good at keeping me calm. The diving was amazing! We were able to see the fish so up close. It was a very good introduction to diving for a beginner. Next we had lunch, which was excellent, lots of very tasty food! Free soft drinks and water were available on the boat all day. Next we did the snorkelling. We were in quite a large group for this which was a little restrictive, however there were lots of nice fish to see and we even saw a manga ray! The photographer throughout the day was very funny and chatty, and took some really nice photos at the end of the day which you could purchase on a DVD. The boat was very clean and had really good toilet facilities. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful! We returned back to hurghada and we got back to our hotel at around 6pm.

Booked through Yasser at sunrise garden beach resort. We left from the beach. We got snorkel, masks and fins. We have a 4 year old, 6 year old and a 11year old. All were made welcome and saad the leader of the trip was very good. He got all my kids in the water. Plenty of food at lunch time and unlimited water , tea and soft drinks. We all had a great trip and really recommend the trip with the guys.

We were on the dolphin house trip on 20/06/19 and had the most amazing day, however we did pay £35 for 3 DVDs ( 1 x pictures, 1 x video and 1 of the surrounding areas to visit in the future ) on arriving home and attemptung to watch them, 1 was cracked and none of them played on any of the devices we tried them on. I have tried to contact bluewaves on their website and also emailed them about my disappointment as it was the best boat trip I have experienced and the DVDs would have been the perfect memory, but they have not replied back to me.

We went on this trip on 9/6/19, 2 adults 4 children ages , 14,11,10,2. Was a fantastic day , the boat was awesome , we then stopped to swim with the dolphins which was amazing, and stopped a further 2 times to see the Coral and all the fishes which were great. We stopped for lunch and had plenty of refreshments all day. The crew were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, they were fun all day making it a great experience would definitely recommend this trip

Fantastic day with Alex our guide and crew of Rafal. Great snorkelling, saw and swam with dolphins and had a lovely lunch. Boat was high standard, clean and not overcrowded. would recommend this trip to families or couples.

First time in Egypt and we wanted to take the children to a dolphin boat trip. We chose Blue waves with Alex and Cabo ...amazing day,saw lots of dolphins , very friendly staff and great with the children. Food delicious and plenty of choice. Highly recommend Blue Waves .

This was a brilliant trip! Alex and the crew provided a very cool environment for all ages with lots of laughs. Very organised operation with all the kit required for a magical experience. This is a "must" if you visit Hurghada.

We booked a private boat which resulted in some mishaps but nothing to do with the staff Mustafa or the cameraman jimmy who I must say where excellent throughout the journey and looked after us well. Made our complaints with the manager and rebooked as we never saw dolphins and the second dolphin house trip was fantastic. Again great staff and nice big boat. Would recommend and we will definitely book with bluewaves again.

A highly recommended Trip to everybody in any age. Me and my family have been to doplhin house with Caboria for 2 times and we already planed the next trip. We felt save and comfortable all the time and Cabo always makes us laugh. The price is good and theres a very high chance to see big groups of dolphins. Amazing! Thank you cabo for this experience

Dolphinhouse was one of the best trips, it couldn't have been any better. Cabo our Guide take care of us and gave us a really safe feeling. It was so much fun at the same time, he was the best- thank you guys for this trip! My Family and I would love to visit Cabo again for some new trips!

All my life I have dreamed of swimming with Dolphins but didn’t want to see them in captivity. I told the Bluewaves team about my dream, they said they can make dreams come true! Like most places you’re lucky to see the Dolphins, so I tried not to get my hopes up too much. Bluewaves know the 3 different spots that Dolphins are likely to be, so if not at first they go to the next one. Then we saw them! It was amazing! They transferred us onto a speedboat and let us jump right in front of Dolphins! 🐬 I will never forget it! As they knew it was my dream, one of them grabbed my hand and helped to keep me up with the Dolphins 🤗 The team were extremely friendly, the food was great! Scuba diving was fantastic too see so many different Fish and nearly bumped into a huge Napoleon Fish! I will be going back to Hurghada one day and I will definitely go on another sea tour with Bluewater!
