Everything was perfectly organized, making the long journey smooth and enjoyable. The transportation was comfortable, and our driver ensured a safe ride to and from Cairo. Once we arrived, our guide greeted us warmly and provided amazing insights into Egypt’s rich history. The first stop was the Egyptian Museum, where we saw incredible artifacts, including the treasures of King Tutankhamun. Our guide explained everything so well, making history come to life! Next, we headed to the highlight of the trip the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinxو Seeing these world-famous wonders up close was truly breathtaking. We had plenty of time to explore, take photos, and even climb a little way up one of the pyramids for an unforgettable view. We also enjoyed a relaxing Nile River boat ride (optional but highly recommended, followed by a delicious traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant. The food was fresh and full of authentic flavors. Throughout the trip, our guide made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. Everything was well-paced, allowing us to enjoy the sights without feeling rushed. This tour is 100% worth it, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hurghada! A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience!
This mini-bus tour from Hurghada to Cairo was absolutely perfect! With only four people in our group, the experience felt private and comfortable, making the long journey much more enjoyable. The transportation was smooth, and everything was well-organized, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We started with a visit to the breathtaking Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx truly a once in a lifetime sight Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and making every moment engaging. The visit to the Egyptian Museum was also a highlight, seeing ancient treasures up close, including artifacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb. Exploring Old Cairo was a wonderful addition to the tour, giving us a glimpse into the city’s rich culture. The free Nile boat ride was a fantastic surprise, providing a peaceful break with stunning views of the city. Overall, this was a stress-free, well-organized, and unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for a top-quality tour to Cairo from Hurghada, this is the one to book.
A nice trip well put together, the tour guide was very informative with good knowledge and interesting to converse with.
It was very nice. It was both fun and enjoyable experince. Thank you so much for this tour. It is a must do for everyone who comes to Egypt..
Lovely trip which included boat trip and lunch. Mr Mina the tour guide, explained things in English. He is a very helpful individual. Our driver was also punctual and made the whole journey go really smooth. Thanx to both the driver and Mr mina
So we absolutely loved this trip. Be prepared for a very long day but totally worth it. I expected there to be more people but only 4 including us so it made it more comfortable. Our drivers Hassan and Mustafa explained everything at the start and were very friendly and funny! Our tour guide Mina (sorry if i am spelling it wrong) was extremely knowledgeable and told us many fun facts that we would otherwise not know. He also knew the shortcuts to get through long queues which was amazing. He really cared to get us best service possible and honestly, could not have had a better guide! Drive itself was long and i would say i was definitely dressed wrong, depending on the season you are going, definitely take some travel warmer clothes or a blanket as you travel through the night. You can leave those in a van as it is the same van driving you around! (This was in January, may be different in different warmer months) Had plenty of stops for toilet but it is all paid, so take some small change - 1 dollar, euro or 20s in egyptian pounds, as well as tissues! Genuinely once in a lifetime experience and i am so glad i did this! Thank you!
This tour is truly one of the best experiences you can have in Egypt. We were quickly picked up from our hotel in Hurghada and taken to Cairo in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan. Our drivers, Hassan and Ebenor, were fantastic, making sure we had a safe and speedy trip. The drive takes about six hours, so if you're ready for a long day, it's definitely worth it. Our guide, Yasser, was outstanding and had a wealth of knowledge. He took us to all the important sites and explained the history in a way that was easy to understand. The boat ride on the Nile was lovely and relaxing, and we enjoyed a tasty lunch. Just a heads up, the heat can be pretty intense, especially at the Pyramids where there's not much shade. Overall, this experience is incredibly enjoyable, as long as you're prepared for a full day. Thank you for an unforgettable day! I can't wait for our next adventure.
Cancelled at last minute so couldn't go The tour guide decided to tell us 2 days before and then had to wait for refund. Couldn't get another trip that suited us and affordable as prices were too high
The day began with a smooth transfer from Hurghada to Cairo, allowing us ample time to explore this mesmerizing city. Our Egyptologist tour guide was exceptional. Their deep knowledge and passion for Egyptian history truly brought each location to life. We started with a visit to Old Cairo, wandering through its ancient streets and absorbing the unique atmosphere. Our guide enriched the experience by sharing fascinating stories and historical insights. Next, we headed to the Egyptian Museum, where the extraordinary collection left us in awe. Our guide's expertise made the exhibits more meaningful, particularly the Tutankhamun treasures, which were a highlight. The intricate details and history of these artifacts were shared with infectious enthusiasm. After the museum, we had a delightful lunch, allowing us to sample traditional Egyptian cuisine. The flavors were delightful, providing a perfect midday refreshment. The adventure then took us to the Giza Plateau, where the pyramids stood majestically against the skyline. The Great Pyramid's grandeur was a sight to behold, and the Sphinx, enigmatic and iconic, was unforgettable. Our guide explained the architectural wonders and the mysteries surrounding these ancient structures, making the experience unforgettable. To top off the day, we enjoyed a serene boat trip on the River Nile. The gentle breeze and the picturesque views of the city from the water created a perfect ending to our trip. The entire experience was seamless, engaging, and utterly rewarding. This day trip from Hurghada to Cairo was a masterpiece of historical exploration and cultural immersion. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an enriching and memorable Egyptian adventure!
This trip is long and tiring but what a trip, the value for money is excellent, we did so much, things your eyes can’t believe, our drivers were brilliant, plenty of toilet breaks but take some $1 bills cause you pay for the toilet paper, they got us there on time to everything, 2 driver that work so well together with sharing the driving when the other is tired. Our guide was knowledgeable and so lovely he told us who to trust and who not to, he got us a great deal on souvenirs, spoke great English and looked after us very well, top man. The Nile boat ride was lovely, our own private boat and lovely guys looking after us on that. If I could have a moan about anything it was the perfume shop, I feel he wasn’t happy that I wasn’t interested in what he was selling and I did end up walking out I do think this should be cut out and more time being spent in the museum or at dinner. The museum was unbelievable and our guide showed us all the best artefacts. Dinner was lovely it was across from the pyramids but you need to be on the second floor to see them while eating but the dinner was lovely even though it wasn’t quite a pyramid view. Drinks are not included in the meal but there cheap enough to buy. Our driver shared the driving and got us back pretty sharpish which we was happy tired by then, swapping when tired and only stopped once as we just wanted to get back, very good driving and always felt safe. All in all it was an experience of a life time and well worth the long day. Worth every penny for everything we seen and did 5 star service absolutely loved it thank you so much to the drivers and the guide they deserve the credit as they were excellent.
The reason I've given a one star is i personally feel ths company are misleading with the pricing... I booked this for My partner and myself at the cost of £67 per person £134 in total, What I didn't notice is at the bottom where it states NOT INCLUDED is a mandatory extra payment of £20/€20 or $25 per person 🤔 For so called Transportation ? and insurance costs ! bringing the total for the trip to £174, No mention or reminder from this company about the extra cost until you're within the 24hr no refund bracket 🤔 Probably my own fault for not reading it rite that I understand, BUT why is this not in the overall price when first booking and paying for the trip... I could have found same trip cheaper with another company with no hidden small print charges... Please don't get caught out with their booking price....
This was my favourite day in Egypt and the highlight of my trip! I would highly recommend anyone wanting to visit Cairo from Hurghada to book this day trip. The drivers - Shady and Whalid were amazing and really looked after us throughout the day - the best drivers! Always on time, super friendly and accommodating. I felt at ease with them, and they also made the day fun. Our guide was also friendly and accommodating in looking after us, he made sure we had enough time and did what we wanted to do. There was 6 people in total on the trip which was a great size and as a solo traveller, I was never lost. Each language was well catered for. The minivan was super comfortable for the long drive, and the views on the way were amazing with enough space for everyone. The included drinks were also well appreciated. Everything was well communicated, we knew exactly what was happening and when. They are very upfront and clear about what's not included/is included/pickup times, etc which was also really good. Loved every bit of this trip - the museum, the Nile cruise, the lunch, the pyramids, the camel rides, going into the Pyramid and also seeing the sphynx. Wouldn't have changed a thing and everything we did was good quality. It is a long day, but they make it fun and comfortable - bring a small pillow to sleep in the van. I enjoyed it so much, I booked the same supplier to Luxor and had a great day. Just book it, you wont regret it :-)
Yasir as a tour guide is truly exceptional! His expertise in Egyptian history is remarkable, evident from his 20 years of experience as a tour guide. The journey to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx was awe-inspiring, and Yasir's knowledge added immense value to the experience. I highly recommend Yasir as a tour guide for anyone seeking a profound exploration of these iconic sites. The adventure to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx was beyond words; it felt like stepping into history itself. Yasir's insights and storytelling truly brought these iconic landmarks to life. I wholeheartedly recommend this agency for a journey filled with wonder and enlightenment. The drivers Hasan Ebonor were absolutely attentive! I left my rucksack at the restaurant they went back and go it for me whilst I enjoyed my tour.

This is one of the best tours you can do in Egypt. We were picked up promptly from our hotel in hurghada and driven to Cairo in a air conditioned very comfortable minivan. Our two drivers Hassan and Ebenor were absolutely amazing! The are very safe drivers even though they drive really fast. The drive itself is 6 hours so if you don't mind the long day it's really worth it. Our guide Yasser is so awesome and extremely knowledgeable. He took us everywhere and explained the history to us really well. The Nile boat ride is so lovely and relaxing and the lunch is great too ! The heat is super intense so be prepared when you're at the Pyramids there is no shade. This is a throughly enjoyable experience so long as you don't mind the extremely long day. Thank you so much guys for an amazing day ! Hope to see you again !
This is a very long day especially for children. The trip itself was well organised we enjoyed seeing the hanging church & mosque. The Museum was interesting though we didn’t have time to look round the shop at the end. Lunch wasn’t too great but the Nile boat was lovely and the pyramids breathtaking. The drivers and guide took great care of us plenty of stops and drinks along the way. Visited paper making shop and parfumerie at end would have rather spent less time there and more time at the pyramids & museum shop. Glad we did this trip however, from Hurghada the journey by van was long this was expected but tiring day.
This Tour was so awesome 👍👍.I loved it so much and Recommend it to any one. The Nile cruise was so exceptional and worth penny.
I can only recommend this trip. Everything went really well. Picked up at the hotel on time, the trip itself, they also paid attention to personal matters, the guide was great, good English skills and very nice with a lot of knowledge of Egyptian history. All in all, this trip is also recommended. Thank you for this lovely trip. Thanks to the nice guide.
The definition of Great trip is the trip with those Guys. I will start with the most important thing for myself, which is the timing, the timing was 100% accurate and they arrived at exactly the time we booked. Then starting from the driver, the welcoming of the driver, the clean of the car all was super great. Then going to Ahmed, the guide there, he is super friendly, helpful, answering each single question, telling you each information you need. I can’t describe how great trip was this, Thank you for this wonderful experience. 5 stars will never be fair for them, they deserve 10 out of 5.Thank for (SHERIF TOURS)
This was the best experience I could ever have. Our lovely tour guide Mo salah gave us all of the details about the pyramids and answered all of our questions with no hesitation. The entire experience was great and very punctual. The drive there and back was amazing and still we kept getting fun facts no matter where we were. Props to our driver Basem as well for making sure we got everywhere safely. Overall the most fun I’ve ever had with a tour company.
Absolutely worth every penny. Our tour guide Ahmed was funny, and full of knowledge, he made our day very enjoyable. We managed to squeeze in an extra few stops, for a boat ride across the Nile, and camel ride, camel ride definitely worth the extra money for a tourist free view of the pyramids. We’ve loved every minute, thank you.
Amazing day out, thanks to all the guides, they were great. Knew their stuff, the restaurant for lunch was good, really enjoyed and would definitely recommend
Absolutely everything perfect! Our guide ( Yasser ) is a very knowledgeable and kind scholar of ancient and modern Egypt. Always attentive to customer needs. I can't help but recommend it wholeheartedly. Too bad I can't give it a 10 ⭐️
We were collected at around 2.30 in the morning and were transferred to a coach which was not very comfortable or clean unfortunately. The guide Mohammed Hamidi was very knowledgeable and very helpful and he also was a very funny guy. The lunch was very nice and was a buffet service (drinks are not included) ,however we had a few pit stops along the way. I would definitely recommend this tour and especially booking from via tour and if you are assigned Mohammed hamidi you will truly enjoy your tour.
We did a lot of things, the guide was the funniest guy you can be around, recommended. Would have liked charging ports on the bus, but brought many powerbanks so it was fine
I had a great trip. Making the reservation was simple, and when the trip was confirmed, I got regular updates. Excellent communication on my inquiries concerning the additional taxes with Mr. Ahmed. Arrive on time for the hotel pickup. Our journey took place in a cozy bus with several stops for restroom breaks. Mohammed, our primary tour guide, was incredibly educated and amiable with all of us. He provided us with insightful guidance about Egyptian customs and the dos and don'ts of staying safe. Overall, the vacation was enjoyable despite the long distance All trips were booked with the same company for easy communication.
I was attracted to this trip as the reviews were good and it was also being offered at a discounted cost. Booking was straightforward and I received updates regularly after the trip was confirmed. Good communication with host when I had questions about the additional taxes. Pick up from our hotel was slightly earlier than scheduled. We travelled in a comfortable 50-60 seater coach with toilet breaks along the way. Our main tour guide, Mohammed was knowledgeable and had a great rapport with everyone. He gave us valuable tips and advice on Egyptian culture and on the do's and dont's to keep ourselves safe. Very grateful to other reviewers who mentioned bringing along toilet roll! Not all places have it and some charge for it/the use of their bathrooms. Also be prepared for the additional tourist taxes and to pay for any items you may want to purchase during the stop offs at the perfume and papyrus shops. There is also a fee if you want to get close up to The Pyramids by horse and cart or camel. Worth the money if you want to get better photos. Overall an enjoyable trip - although very exhausting. We got back to our hotel just under 24 hours after pick up!
Absolutely to suggest. Easy communication in advance, responses were quick at any time. The ride in the bus was pleasant. Gamal is a great guide who has a lot of knowledge, gives lots of helpful tips, knows the best photo spots and also takes great pictures. We didn't have to wait long anywhere. The food was very tasty. The trip is really recommended - it was great! Tour Hurghada to Cairo Super.
We took this day trip to Cairo from Hourghada in a small group with a minivan, and it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish! The transport was very comfortable, air conditioned and perfect for the long drive. Being in a small group made the day much more enjoyable, with a friendly atmosphere and a well-adapted pace. Once we arrived in Cairo, we were impressed by the wealth of sights we visited. The Egyptian museum was fascinating, and seeing the pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx in real life was just magical. Our Francophone guide was exceptional: very competent, passionate and always ready to answer our questions. Lunch at a local restaurant was very good, and everything was perfectly organized. No stress, just fun and discovery I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the wonders of Cairo in one day from Hourghada. An unforgettable memory
This Super Cairo tour from Hurghada to Cairo was truly unique and clearly stands out from other offers! If you are looking for a comfortable, stress-free and exclusive experience, this tour should definitely not be missed. Smooth driving without traffic chaos The special thing about this tour is that it only takes place on Fridays, which is the weekend in Egypt. As a result, there were no annoying traffic jams and no traffic chaos, as is otherwise known from Cairo. The whole ride was relaxed and well organized. Another highlight: No annoying souvenir shop stops – finally a tour where you can focus on the sights without being bothered by vendors! Old Cairo – A fascinating start Our first stop was Old Cairo, where we immersed ourselves in the rich history of the city. We visited: The Hanging Church, an impressive Coptic church with centuries of history. The Panorama religious complex, a unique place where different religions meet. The Amr Ibn Al As Mosque, the oldest mosque in Africa – a spiritual and historical place. The Cairo Citadel, a massive fortress structure with breathtaking views over the city. Egyptian Museum – A Treasure House of History Then we visited the famous Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which houses over 150,000 artifacts, including the stunning treasures of King Tutankhamun. Our guide explained the highlights in a very interesting way, so you really felt like you were immersed in the past. Cruise on the Nile – Included & Free! A special extra of this tour was the free Faluca boat trip on the Nile! In other programs, you have to pay 10 euros extra for it, it was already included here. The ride on the legendary Nile was a beautiful experience and provided a little rest in the middle of the exciting day. Lunch with Bl.
Small group turned out to be a large group , several excursions in 1 bus and therefore also differ among themselves , we booked incl drink on the way but we are the only one in the bus together with boat trip payment , asked and received drinks twice , fine English-speaking guidance, very hasty day so but definitely worth it , many beautiful things seen with good explanations - definitely worth it !!
Basically, it is a pity that a tour is offered here - with Alt-Cairo - before which nobody knows anything locally. For both very nice guides 'Alt-Cairo - despite Friday and thus 'free' was not known in the program. The booking office took the ‘error’ on its head. However, they were not willing to refund any of the booking price and only offered a ‘submarine tour’ as compensation, although we left a day later. I chose this tour especially because Alt-Cairo was there. At GetYourGuide and FTS Travel we have had much better experiences. Here we had booked a trip to Luxor. That was absolutely great - especially the logistics with WhatsApp and the general info.
Off the front... If Alma (tour guide) were not, I would have given fewer stars. We were picked up 1:30 at 8:30 to arrive in Cairo. In between 3 breaks for the drivers with a duration of 10-30 minutes. Once in Cairo, Alma greeted us warmly and this caring and warm manner kept her throughout the tour. With a lot of knowledge she could answer every question and give us a lot of information. She was an asset to the entire tour. What saddens us is that Old Cairo was not part of the tour for you, even though it was stated in the course of the tour. Furthermore, we were dragged to a sales stall and the boat trip can really be saved. You can't see more than on the jetty where you get in the boat. Therefore, actually only 3 out of 5 stars if it had not been for Alma.
Big disappointment, pick up hotel chaotic and wrong, drivers very noisy so no rest for us and guide Duids instead of English 😩
The transfer picked us up on time at the hotel, however, the two drivers took many breaks to smoke. At two stops, they stopped smoking exclusively without giving us the opportunity to go to a toilet. The tour of the museum was informative, but very hectic and in a noisy environment, so much could not be understood well. The guided tour took place in both German and English. The Nile trip was pleasant but not recommended for the price of 10 € per person as the trip took only half an hour and there was little to see. Before we went to lunch, we were taken to a stall (this was not mentioned in the description) where we were offered oils and perfumes intrusively. The stay there lasted about half an hour and caused general discontent. At lunch unfortunately no drinks were included, but the food was delicious. After that we finally went to the pyramids. It should be noted here that admission is only valid for the outdoor area. Access to the interior of the pyramids costs an additional €19 per person, which I found outrageous and rip-off. At the pyramids and the sphinx we had only half an hour, although we were only allowed to see the sphinx from a distance. Although visiting the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx was impressive in itself, I cannot recommend the tour overall. She was chaotic and poorly organized.
My girlfriend and I were really very positively surprised by the tour. Before we did a tour to Luxor, this was also good, but more stressful, less impressive and still a lot more expensive. Everything was right on this trip to Cairo. The drivers were not only very forgiving and nice, they were also in a good mood and drove well. The guide (German/English) spoke super German and was very sympathetic and explained a lot and knew an answer to every question. He also warned well about tourism traps etc. The program was very comprehensive and yet very compact. We were back home more than 2h before as planned and still saw everything. I've never been so happy to tip the guide and the drivers. Absolute Recommendation!
Fantastic experience, very nice guides Moussa, the driver and supervisor to the sunset. Thank you very much. Recommended
Everything went well. Unfortunately, we only found out at the end that water and drinks were included in the transport. The drivers didn't speak any English and unfortunately couldn't give us any information that would have been very helpful beforehand. However, I knew roughly how it worked because we had already done a tour to Luxor.
